Pentagon Increases HIMARS Order With Lockheed Martin In New $2bn Contract

The US military did not disclose any further details about the procurement, such as the intended end-user of the launchers or even an exact number of the vehicles. Previous contracts, however, suggest the cost of a single system hovers around the $21-million mark.
For instance, in February 2019 Poland purchased 20 HIMARS launchers for $414 million. Therefore, the new procurement by the Pentagon likely includes around 100 vehicles.
The systems of this type have seen extensive use during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Kiev receiving from its Western backers dozens of launchers, as well as their derivatives that were being used by several European militaries.
While the systems have been long touted by Ukrainian propaganda as a high-precision tool to strike high-value assets, debris from HIMARS munitions has repeatedly been recovered after strikes on purely civilian targets.
The Russian military has claimed the destruction of multiple HIMARS units amid hostilities. Some of the kills have been corroborated by aerial surveillance videos, shared by Moscow….
Hearing Scheduled in Trump’s Classified Documents Case Could Invalidate Jack Smith’s Appointment

Judge Cannon’s late Tuesday evening order will allow lawyers to argue several briefs filed by outside attorneys, including a brief by lawyers representing former Attorney General Ed Meese and Citizens United, among others, arguing the Jack Smith appointment is unconstitutional.
Essentially, the brief claims Attorney General Merrick Garland improperly appointed Smith to an office that does not exist with authority Garland does not possess.
Versions of this amicus brief have been filed by the same group of lawyers at various levels of Trump’s case in Washington, including the Supreme Court.
Cannon likely made the rare decision allowing third party oral arguments due to untested legal questions being addressed by the court. Two of the groups support the dismissal of the case, while a third agrees with the Department of Justice’s use of a special counsel.
Congress did at one time establish an office similar to a special counsel, called an “independent counsel.” But that statute expired in 1999, leading Meese to argue the Smith appointment does not pass legal muster…
Dr. Birx Comes Clean: “Elites Covered-Up COVID Lab-Leak Theory”

Robert Redfield, who served as the Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control from 2018 to 2021, said early in the pandemic that COVID could have come out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but was widely dismissed by the media and prominent health officials. Former White House chief medical advisor to the president Dr. Anthony Fauci denied in testimony before Congress Monday that he suppressed the idea, but all evidence points to the fact that he did exactly that.
Birx is disturbingly cheery as she points to their egregious mistakes and acts like it was all just a good-faith misunderstanding when in reality, health authorities carried out one of the greatest assaults on our liberty in U.S. history:
Birx told Hunt on Tuesday, “And I think the reason he felt he [Redfield] needed to bring it forward to push, was to push against this, ‘it had to be this way.’ Because we didn‘t know, and we knew we would never know. I mean, we knew as SARS that China was not transparent. We knew with the second SARS, China was not transparent, so we were not going to get an answer, but that shouldn‘t have held us back 4.5 years later from both ensuring that we protect against lab leaks and we protect that public.”
She added that lab leaks “definitely” happen and noted, “people got infected with HIV in the lab.”
“And so we have to put different rules and regulations and guidelines in place to protect the public. We can do that. We‘ve done that before,” Birx said.
Birx has admitted her own unethical behavior before:
‘Stop Green Communism’ — Farmer Protests Shut Down French Border and Storm Brussels Before EU Elections

Farmers from across Europe took to their tractors again, swarming Brussels and blockading the border between France and Spain to firmly plant their opposition to the globalist Green Deal agenda in the minds of voters as they head to the polls for the European Parliament elections this week.
“Farmers of the world, unite!” was the slogan as tractors shut down the Franco-Spanish border on both sides of the Pyrenees starting on Monday, according to Le Figaro, which reported that around 200 to 300 French farmers joined the protest which blocked at least seven crossings before disbanding on Tuesday.
Spain’s ABC newspaper reports that the farmers demanded that the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) be “centred on the farmer”, rather than seeing subsidies flow to multinational growers or large landowners.
They also argued that tariffs and taxes should be levied against cheap foreign imports to protect domestic farmers from unfair competition from countries that do not have the same level of environmental or labour restrictions….

An election candidate in Germany was stabbed in the head and stomach on Tuesday night after confronting a gang of men tearing down election posters, the second stabbing of a right winger in a single German city in four days.
62-year-old Alternative for Germany (AfD) council election candidate Heinrich Koch was stabbed in Mannheim on Tuesday. German newspaper Die Welt reports the right-wing campaigner was cut on the ear and stomach by the assailant and was taken to the hospital.
The 25-year-old perpetrator was allegedly part of a group of three who had been stealing election posters in the city, it is said, and the activist had given chase. Two managed to escape, but one of the gang is said to have slashed with a box-cutter type knife. He then fled, but was later arrested…

“$55B To $650B” – Elon Musk Bets On Himself, Due $56B Bonus As Tesla Valuation SKYROCKETS
Elon Musk’s $56 billion pay package from Tesla, voided by a Delaware judge in January 2024, is up for a shareholder vote on June 13, 2024. The package was deemed unfair due to Musk’s influence over the board. Despite this, Tesla argues Musk has increased the company’s value 11-fold since 2018, justifying the compensation.
