Keith Rose, a St. Louis DNC alternate (he’s now withdrawn), is accused of kicking in a metal gate outside a police station under siege by “mostly peaceful” rioters commemorating the death of Michael Brown with violence and anarchy.
Golly, it sure is funny how closely interwoven the leftist riot-bloc apparatus seems to be with the traditional machinery of the Democratic Party.
It’s almost as if national Democrats endorse this kind of thing.
After all, Congress and state and local legislatures are full of Democrats who’ve voted again and again to defund and hamstring the cops, violent consequences be damned.

Scores of Job Ads for Trench Diggers Appear Online as Ukraine Advances in Kursk Region
Scores of job advertisements for trench diggers and construction workers in the Kursk region have appeared online in recent days as Russian forces struggle to hold back advancing Ukrainian troops following their surprise offensive last week.
The BBC’s Russian service reported Wednesday that it found at least 30 listings for trench diggers on the classifieds website Avito, offering up to 371,000 rubles ($4,000) for an unspecified period of work.
Avito later took down those advertisements, a company spokesperson told the RBC business news website. The company said it had reached out to the Russian Defense Ministry about the listings.
The surge in job advertisements comes after satellite images published earlier this week revealed newly dug trenches along roads and villages in the Kursk region, as well as the Kursk nuclear power plant — located around 50 kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border….
Russian Strategic Bomber Crashes in Siberia
A Russian strategic bomber crashed during a routine flight over the Siberian region of Irkutsk, state media reported late Thursday, citing military officials.
“The crew ejected. Their lives are not in danger. The plane crashed in an uninhabited area. There is no damage on the ground,” Russia’s Defense Ministry was quoted as saying by the RIA Novosti news agency.
According to military officials, the suspected cause of the Tu-22M3 bomber crash was a technical malfunction.
Videos circulated on social media show the plane catching fire mid-air.
Irkutsk region Governor Igor Kobzev said four crew members were on board the aircraft, adding that all of them managed to parachute to safety.
U.S.-Russian Woman Jailed 12 Years for Donating Money to Pro-Ukraine Charity
A court in the Ural Mountains region of Yekaterinburg sentenced U.S.-Russian citizen Ksenia Karelina to 12 years in prison for “treason” on Thursday after she allegedly donated around $50 to a pro-Ukraine charity.
Karelina was arrested in January while visiting her family in the city of Yekaterinburg. Last week, her lawyer said she pleaded guilty to treason charges during a closed hearing.
“The court found Ksenia Karelina guilty of high treason and sentenced her to 12 years imprisonment at a medium-security prison,” the Sverdlovsk Regional Court said Thursday.
Karelina, a 33-year-old ballerina and spa employee in Los Angeles, was accused of donating around $50 to the New York-based charity Razom shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
Russia’s FSB security service claimed the money was “used to purchase tactical medical supplies, equipment, weapons and ammunition for the Ukrainian armed forces.”
Razom, which provides humanitarian aid and disaster relief to Ukrainians affected by the war, urged U.S. authorities to demand Karelina’s release from Russia.

Russia has mothballed peace talks with Ukraine over Kursk incursion, Moscow says
As a result of the ongoing incursion of Ukrainian forces into Russian territory, Moscow has decided to put any peace talks over its war against the neighbouring country on hold, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
In a press conference dedicated to the so-called “crimes of the Kyiv regime,” ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik said that the issue of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine had been “put for a long pause” after Kyiv’s attacks on the Kursk region, labelling them as “terrorist actions”.
“Conducting negotiations with an absolutely inadequate adversary today is simply unnatural,” Rodion Miroshnik explained.
Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, authorities in Kyiv have refused to discuss any peace agreement with Moscow unless it involves the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from all occupied areas, including the Crimean peninsula, unilaterally annexed by the Kremlin in 2014.
An estimated 10,000 Ukrainian troops supported by tanks and armored combat vehicles have crossed into Russia. The Ukrainian military claims to have advanced into 1,000 sq. km (about 390 sq. mi) of the Kursk region and holds 74 towns and settlements.

NYPD: Migrants Behind Recent Central Park ‘Wolfpack’ Robberies
A recent report from ABC7 alleged migrants from city-run shelters may be behind the “recent increases in robberies in the southern end of Central Park.” The perpetrators often surround their victims like a “wolfpack” to mug them of their belongings.
An 11-year-old arrested in connection to a robbery in the subway Tuesday night was captured on surveillance video using credit cards from one of the Central Park victims, who is part of an eight-incident pattern.
Two of the three young suspects arrested in a robbery in Grand Army Plaza in Central Park early Tuesday are residing in city-run migrant shelters, one of them at the Row Hotel.
The suspects in Tuesday night’s mugging who robbed two men in their 20s sitting on a park bench are believed to be 16 or 17. That happened at West 62nd Street and West Drive around 10:45 p.m.
NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said the thieves tend to be young kids no more than age 15.
“Southern part of the park, we see a lot of robberies, group robberies, young kids, mugging people or taking their property, we believe these are young migrants who are committing these robberies,” Chell told reporters….
Secret Service leaves Trump vulnerable once again after female agent abandons post to breastfeed: Report
The U.S. Secret Service once again left former President Donald Trump vulnerable to attack after a female agent reportedly abandoned her post to breastfeed her child during a event in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.
Shortly before Trump’s motorcade was set to arrive in the area, the site agent in charge of overseeing all security for the event took one final sweep of the walking route, according to a report from Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics citing “three sources in the Secret Service community.”
During this last-minute security check, the site agent found a female Secret Service agent breastfeeding her child in a room reserved for “important Secret Service official work,” including a possible emergency involving the president, Crabtree said.
Secret Service agents on duty are prohibited from bringing their children to a protective assignment, Crabtree added.
Not only had the female agent apparently violated that restriction, but she was also accompanied by two members of her family who may have been unvetted.
The agent, her two relatives, and ostensibly her baby bypassed the Uniformed Division checkpoint and were taken to the secure room by an “unpinned” staff member, Crabtree’s report indicated. “Unpinned” means the Secret Service has not given the individual clearance to be there……

Biden’s Afghanistan: Taliban Turns Nation into Hell for Women, 1.4 Million Afghan Girls Banned from School
After 20 years of fighting, former President Donald Trump brokered a deal with the Taliban that would have seen American troops peacefully withdraw from the country by May 1, 2021, in exchange for the Taliban promising to break ties with terrorist organizations and not attack U.S. troops.
His successor, Joe Biden, broke the agreement, resulting in the Taliban launching a spree of conquest attacks that culminated with the fall of the nation’s capital, Kabul, on August 15, 2021.
The Taliban is currently the uncontested government of Afghanistan, though no other nation on earth has formally recognized it as such.
Taliban jihadists celebrated the anniversary of their victory on Tuesday with a massive parade at the former Bagram U.S. air base, displaying some of the millions of dollars’ worth of weapons Biden abandoned in the country in 2021.
For the average Afghan, particularly girls and women, quality of life has essentially collapsed since the Taliban returned to power. Taliban leaders insisted three years ago that they would lead an “inclusive” government and insisted that provisions mandating women not leave their homes were short-term and intended to protect their safety.
Rather than lifting that ban, however, the Taliban has increased its repression of women and girls, insisting that the “value” of women “decreases” if men can see their faces and declaring education prohibited for girls after primary school age….

“The Taliban’s armed forces towed Soviet-era tanks and artillery pieces through the former U.S. air base in Bagram, where Chinese and Iranian diplomats were also present,” the Turkish outlet Daily Sabah, citing international agencies, reported. “A swarm of motorbikes strapped with yellow jerry cans, often used to carry improvised explosive devices (IED) during the fight against international forces, also rumbled past assembled officials.”
The outlet also identified “U.S.-made armored personnel carriers” being driven in the parade. A report published in February 2023 by the office of the U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) found that Biden left at least $7.2 billion worth of military equipment to the Taliban.

A self-described independent journalist, Alissa Eleanor Azar was charged in connection with a riot that started when Antifa showed up to counter right-wing and conservative activists holding a voter registration drive in Clackamette Park in Oregon City.
Video evidence showed Azar rushing in to use bear mace against a woman, according to the Post Millennial.
The day of the riot, Azar promoted the counter-rally on her social media, saying, “Don’t forget about the counter demonstration this afternoon, if you’re able to show up to support please do! Rise against hate, stand up to fascism.”
Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney Josh Cutino argued Antifa was looking for a fight, as evidenced by Azar and other Antifa members launching an attack on the right-wing event.
