Who’s to Blame? Historic American Church Transformed into a Mosque
A large, historic Catholic church in New York is on its way to becoming a mosque, following its purchase by a Muslim organization.
On August 11, Fr. Ronald Vierling drew attention to the sale in a social media post: “St. Anne’s Church, Buffalo, NY. Permanently closed. Sold to the Islamic community for $250,000 who are converting the historic church into a mosque.”
According to one report, “St. Anne’s was built in 1886 by German immigrants. It had fallen into disrepair and become unusable for worshippers in recent years.”
Fr. Vierling’s post — which as of this writing had been viewed 12 million times — sparked a backlash on social media.
“Muslims get a church for $250k but I can’t buy a house in a decent neighborhood for less than $500k,” one X user wrote. “Selling off Catholic Churches to Islam to convert it into a Mosque borders Blasphemy and Stupidity!” wrote another.

Trump campaign trolls Harris, releases policy website for her after weeks of silence
Vice President Kamala Harris has not released a policy page on her campaign website to detail her positions on key issues such as the economy and immigration, sparking the Trump campaign to create and release a platform website for her, Fox News Digital exclusively learned.
“Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals,” a Trump campaign national press secretary told Fox News Digital about the website.
The site, kamala2024policies.com, launched Wednesday morning on the third day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and takes viewers to a website declaring, “Kamala Harris’ dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about.”
The site details nine policy platforms for the Harris campaign, including declaring Harris fought “to set murderers free,” wants to “abolish the border,” seeks to “eliminate private health insurance” and wants to give illegal immigrants Social Security and Medicare…..

Yesterday, VR Systems, the company that manages a host of Florida’s election systems, and public access to voter information, ‘had difficulty’.
Some Florida counties had difficulty Tuesday reporting primary election results to the public because of an unspecified glitch involving a vendor, state officials said, reported AP.
Secretary of State Cord Byrd said at a news conference that counties using the vendor VR Systems reported the issue, which included websites timing out.
“This was an issue with their public-facing websites. It had nothing to do with the data or the votes being transmitted to the Department of State,” Byrd said.

Republicans Fail Again
The new edition of The Freedom Index is the third for the 118th Congress, and looks at ten key measures. Scores are derived by dividing a congressman’s constitutional votes by the total number of votes cast and multiplying by 100. So, the higher the score the better.
This edition tracks congressional votes in the House on IRS firearms and ammunition, defunding OSHA, impeachment of the Secretary of Homeland Security, consolidated appropriations, further consolidated appropriations, FISA reauthorization, Ukraine aid, carbon sequestration, federal police grants, and central bank digital currency.
It tracks votes in the Senate on auditing the Fed, the U.S. military in Syria, counting noncitizens in the census, consolidated appropriations, free speech, further consolidated appropriations, greenhouse gas emissions, surveilling U.S. citizens, FISA reauthorization, and foreign aid.
The average Democratic House score was 5 percent; the average Republican House score was 56 percent. The average Democratic Senate score was 7 percent; the average Republican Senate score was 59 percent.
Thirteen Republican members of the House and five of the Senate earned a perfect score of 100. I don’t ever remember seeing more Republicans achieve a perfect score. However, because the average Republican scores were 56 and 59 percent, it is accurate to say that the Republicans have failed again.
Several bills in the House stand out.
The majority of Republicans voted with the majority of Democrats to reauthorize FISA. Over 100 Republicans voted with every Democrat who voted to give billions more to Ukraine. The majority of Republicans voted with the majority of Democrats to not only fund the unconstitutional departments, agencies, and programs of the federal government, but also to give $300 million to Ukraine and $500 million to Israel.
Several bills in the Senate stand out.
Only four Republicans voted with Sen. Rand Paul for a resolution that would direct the president to remove U.S. armed forces “from hostilities in or affecting Syria.”

This Genteel Country Is Now the Rape Capital of Europe
An explosion of violent crime in the United Kingdom has made England and Wales into what one economist calls “the rape capital of Europe by a sizeable margin.”
The figures are “pretty grim,” according to UK economist and podcast host Philip Pilkington. “Looks like Britain is becoming a pretty unsafe place.”
(The UK publishes separate crime statistics for England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.)
The rate of increase is staggering, too. Reported rapes are up 63% in just five years.
In the city of Bournemouth, where anti-immigration protestors were rounded up by authorities two days ago, rapes increased from 98 in 2010 to 342 last year — three and a half times as many as before.
Meanwhile, His Majesty’s Labour government responded by preparing to empty the jails of 5,000 criminals, some of them violent, to make room for the people protesting against Britain’s immigration-fueled crime wave….

Kids Who Received mRNA COVID Vaccines Had Altered Immune Systems a Year Later
The team of German researchers, led by Dr. Robin Kobbe with the Institute for Infection Research and Vaccine Development at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany, looked at blood samples of 14 healthy children the day the children received dose one of Pfizer’s shot, one month afterward and one year after the children received dose two.
A year after the second dose, they found increased levels of IgG4 antibodies in the children’s blood, suggesting that their immune system switched its type of immune system response.
IgG4 is one of the four subclasses of immunoglobin, or antibodies, produced by plasma cells in the blood.
While prior studies have found elevated levels of IgG4 in adults after repeated mRNA COVID-19 vaccination, Kobbe and his co-authors said their investigation is the first showing it happens in children, too.
The researchers wrote in their report published July 30 in The Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal, “IgG4 responses should gain more attention in health and disease, especially in the context of mRNA vaccination.”
“Understanding the unusual mechanism triggering IgG4 production is crucial,” they added, “as more mRNA vaccines are currently under development and could hit the global market soon.”..
Hezbollah rocket barrage hammers homes in Israeli-annexed Golan Heights
Terrorist organization Hezbollah rained rockets down on Israeli-annexed territory this week as cease-fire negotiations between Hamas and Israel continue to deteriorate.
Over 50 rockets struck the Golan Heights during a Wednesday attack that injured one individual and destroyed two houses – part of a deadly exchange still ongoing between the Lebanese group and Israel.
“Hezbollah continues to indiscriminately fire projectiles toward Israel,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement Wednesday. “Just now, approx. 50 projectiles were fired and some fell in the town of Katzrin.”
Israel claims the attack was a response to their successful strike on a weapons storage facility in Lebanon. That strike reportedly killed at least one person.
“There was no other target in the area other than a civilian neighborhood and kids on their summer vacation,” Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani said following the attack. “Attacks against our civilians will not go unanswered.”…
Additional work authorization pathway for noncitizens sought
Noncitizens of the United States may soon use another pathway for work authorization in the country’s health care system.
The request is backed by Immigration Customs Enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security and several lawmakers, including Democratic North Carolina U.S. Rep. Valerie Foushee.
The congresswoman, in a letter to ICE interim Director Patrick Lechleitner, asks for nursing to be part of the STEM optional practical training extension.
“At Duke University Hospital for instance,” she writes, “many registered nurses begin their nursing career as foreign nationals who have obtained their nursing education within the United States.”

Bill Pascrell, longtime N.J. congressman and fierce Trump critic, dies at 87
Democratic Rep. Bill Pascrell, whose career in rough-and-tumble New Jersey politics spanned four decades and who in his later years became known for his sharp barbs against Donald Trump, died on Wednesday, according to a statement from his family posted on his official X account.
The 14-term congressman was hospitalized for nearly a month this summer after experiencing a fever related to a respiratory illness. He was discharged to a rehabilitation center on Aug. 7 but was readmitted to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., just four days later.
The feisty octogenarian was the second-oldest House member, only behind only retiring Rep. Grace Napolitano, D-Calif. The oldest member of Congress is Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who turns 91 on Sept. 17.

‘Toy Story’ Star Tim Allen Chronicles His ‘Amazing’ Journey Reading the Bible
Comedian and veteran TV star Tim Allen has never been shy about sharing his Christian faith and on Tuesday used social media to profess his love of reading the Bible.
Allen, who calls God “The Builder,” posted on X – formerly Twitter – that he is taking the time to read the Holy Book and continues to be amazed by what he finds there, stating:

Scientists Make Breakthrough Discovery After Analyzing Cloth ‘Jesus Was Buried In’
Using a new technique involving wide-angle X-rays, the Italian researchers at the Institute of Crystallography of the National Research Council concluded that the material used to make the cloth was manufactured around the time Jesus walked the Earth – about 2,000 years ago.
First displayed before the public in the 1350s, the Shroud of Turin was presented as the burial cloth Joesph of Arimathea used to wrap the broken body of Jesus Christ after crucifixion and death on the Cross.
However, in the 1980s, scientists cast doubt on this belief after a team of researchers examined the shroud and declared that it dated back only to the Middle Ages—hundreds, if not over a thousand years after Christ’s death.
