SCOTUS Threats Suggest Democrats’ Attacks On The Court Encourage Politically Motivated Terrorism

A76-year-old Alaskan man is in custody after he allegedly threatened to assault, kidnap, lynch, torture, murder, and assassinate six of the nine Supreme Court justices. The names of the justices targeted, however, were withheld by the Department of Justice — likely because they confirm Democrats’ incendiary rhetoric against the conservative members of the court is working.
The DOJ announced on Thursday that Panos Anastasiou faces nine counts of making threats against a federal judge and 13 counts of making threats in interstate commerce after he sent more than 465 messages pledging harm against justices via “a public website the court maintained.”
Attorney General Merrick Garland acknowledged in the Thursday press release that the communications were rooted in Anastasiou’s desire to “retaliate against them for decisions he disagreed with.” Yet, neither he nor the Department of Justice memo announcing the arrest identified exactly which of the nine SCOTUS members and their family members were terrorized.
In fact, the DOJ went out of its way in its 11-page September 18 indictment of Anastasiou to disguise which high bench presiders were in danger for upholding their constitutional duties by reducing the justices to numbers “1-6.” Six of the nine sitting SCOTUS justices were nominated to the high bench by Republican presidents.
The document accusing the Alaskan of several felonies, however, shows Anastasiou’s threats were well timed not only with a Democrat-manufactured ethics scandal, but also decisions secured specifically by the court’s conservative majority…..
HHS sued for resisting FOIA for transgender official’s role in trans surgery standards for kids

Judicial Watch has sued the Department of Health and Human Services for not fulfilling its Freedom of Information request related to pressure by the federal government’s top transgender official on a group that devises “standards of care” for transgender health, including for minors, the watchdog group said Friday.
The watchdog filed the FOIA request after an “expert report” by Canadian sexologist James Cantor was unsealed in litigation against Alabama’s ban on puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for those under 19, examples of what supporters call gender affirming care.
Cantor cited communications among Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine’s staff and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, which was working on Standards of Care 8, that conveyed Levine wanted the group to ditch age minimums of 14-17 for various hormonal and surgical procedures including castration and mastectomy that appeared in a draft. WPATH did so in 2022.
HHS assigned the request a tracking number but has yet to determine whether to comply, notify Judicial Watch of its determination or rationale, give it the right to appeal, or produce the records or demonstrate they are exempt, the suit says. The agency was required to make a final determination by Aug. 1…..
Oklahoma Removes 450,000 Ineligible Voters From Rolls, Including More Than 5,000 Felons

As part of “routine voter list maintenance,” the state has removed 5,607 felons, 14,993 duplicate registrations, 97,065 dead voters, and 143,682 voters who moved out of state, according to the release. During address verification, officials also canceled 194,962 inactive voters.
Stitt’s office has been working with legislators, the state election board, and the secretary of state on voter list maintenance. Officials are using technology like artificial intelligence to “protect our elections,” said Secretary of State Josh Cockroft in the release.
“We’ve aggressively pursued policies to ensure voting is secure and accurate,” Cockroft said. “Every eligible citizen will have their vote counted and their voice heard.”
Oklahoma allows “only eligible voters” to take part in elections, according to the release. The state’s June primaries had a “100% voter verification match,” KOSU reported.
Stitt formed a Campaign Finance and Election Threats Task Force in November 2023, according to the release. The task force works to “assess the electoral process, scrutinize foreign investment in campaigns, and ensure Oklahoma elections are the safest in the nation.”…

158 House Democrats vote against deporting sex offenders

The U.S. House passed a bill to deport illegal foreign nationals convicted of domestic violence and sex-related offenses, including sex crimes against children, but not without controversy.
Nearly all Democrats voted against the bill filed by U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-SC, the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, on Thursday. They attacked the bill before they voted on it; Mace said their remarks were “shameful.”
“I find the debate shameful. I myself am a survivor of rape. I understand the lifelong trauma as someone who has survived rape, as someone who’s been in a in a domestic violence situation where I was also the victim. I don’t want to hear it. If you’re here illegally at all you should be gone,” she said.
The bill passed by a vote of 266-158; 215 Republicans and 51 Democrats voted for it. Seven members didn’t vote; 158 Democrats voted against it.
“We are fed up with headlines about women losing their lives or becoming victims of assailants who trespassed into our country illegally under the Biden-Harris border crisis,” Mace said. “This legislation sends a strong message: if you are an illegal who has committed acts of violence against women, you will not find sanctuary here.”
Mace also posted a video on X, saying, “Every member voting against this bill shows the American people they care more about illegal aliens than our women and children.”…
Retired border chief ordered to not report border crossers with ties to terrorism

Retired San Diego Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke said he was instructed by the Biden administration to not publicize arrests of illegal border crossers identified as “Significant Interest Aliens” with ties to terrorism.
Heitke testified before a U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security hearing on Wednesday about how Biden-Harris “open border policies have undermined our safety and security.”
“We had an exponential increase in Significant Interest Aliens … with significant ties to terrorism,” illegally entering in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection San Diego Sector, he said.
Prior to the Biden-Harris administration, the sector averaged 10 to 15 SIAs per year. “Once word was out that the border was far easier to cross, San Diego went to over 100 SIAs in 2022, way over 100 SIAs in 2023 and more than that this year,” he said.
“These are only the ones we caught,” meaning the number likely is higher because of the volume of gotaways, those who illegally cross the border and are not apprehended.
“At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIA’s or mention any of the arrests,” Heitke testified. “The administration was trying to convince the public that there was no threat at the border.”
His testimony came as the greatest number of individuals on the U.S. federal terrorist watch list have been apprehended under the Biden-Harris administration of 1,856 since fiscal 2021 through August, The Center Square reported….

Anti-Israel Protesters Vandalize ROTC Building at UNC-Chapel Hill, Tear Down American Flag

Anti-Israel protesters at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill vandalized the school’s ROTC Naval Armory and other campus buildings as part of a Thursday “Walk Out for the West Bank” event, causing “significant damage,” the school said in a statement.
The event, organized by the school’s Students for Justice in Palestine chapter and other anti-Israel groups, began at the steps of the university library. From there, anti-Israel student activists “began moving around the center of campus and disrupted operations of the University,” according to the school.
“They entered at least nine academic buildings across campus shouting and attempting to disrupt classes. They also vandalized the interior and exterior of buildings along their way with spray paint and permanent markers,” UNC said in a campus update. “They caused significant damage throughout multiple buildings. The group then gathered at the ROTC Naval Armory building, which is included in the National Register of Historic Places and proceeded to damage the exterior with spray paint.”

Photos of the ordeal showed slogans such as “Israel Bombs, USA Pays,” “Burn, Riot,” “Death to the US,” and “Death to UNC” spray painted on the ROTC building and other campus buildings. At one point, student protesters raised a Palestinian flag at the front of the ROTC building. Members of various UNC fraternities assembled to clean up the mess and re-raise the American flag….
In-Person Voting for Presidential Election Starts in 3 States

Friday is the start of early in-person voting for the 2024 U.S. presidential election, kicking off in Virginia, South Dakota and Minnesota, the home state of Harris’ running mate, Gov. Tim Walz.
The first ballots being cast in person come with just over six weeks left before Election Day on Nov. 5. About a dozen more states will follow with early in-person voting by mid-October.
“If I could wave a magic wand in this room right now, I would wish for two things: Between now and November 5th, I want to see high turnout and low drama,” Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon said during a news conference Thursday that previewed his state’s efforts around the election season. Simon also serves as president of the National Association of Secretaries of State.
Across the country, local election directors are beefing up their security to keep their workers and polling places safe while also ensuring that ballots and voting procedures won’t be tampered with.
Federal authorities are investigating the origin of suspicious packages that have been sent to or received by elections officials in more than 15 states in recent days, including Virginia….
Georgia Election Board Approves Rule Requiring Hand Count of Ballots

The Georgia Election Board has approved a new rule requiring election workers to hand count ballots in the November election and confirm that the numbers match machine counts before the vote can be certified.
The rule, which was first proposed in August, passed in a 3–2 vote on the morning of Sept. 20, making Georgia the only state in the union to adopt such a requirement as part of its standard vote-counting.
The new hand-count regulation was, at the time of reporting, the first of 11 that the board was set to vote on Friday. The others include a proposal that absentee ballots be visually distinct from other types of ballots, and another that requires poll workers to record the number of ballots cast from in-person scanners and reconcile those numbers to ensure accurate reporting of votes.
Advocates have framed the proposed rules as common-sense measures to bolster election security. Supporters of the hand-count rule, specifically, have argued it would help increase public trust in the voting process….
16 Illegal Immigrants Found Behind False Wall in Cargo Trailer
On Monday, Sept. 16, a DPS Trooper stopped a Ford F-250 towing a cargo trailer on US 77 in Kenedy County. During the stop, the driver, Anthony Jhonson of Houston, consented to a search of the trailer. During that search, Troopers discovered a false wall and behind that wall were 16 illegal immigrants crammed inside a small compartment with no air ventilation. Jhonson was arrested and charged with 16 counts of smuggling of persons with the likelihood of serious bodily injury or death. All 16 illegal immigrants were referred to Border Patrol.

Elon Musk Threatens to Sue FAA Over SpaceX Fine

SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk is threatening to sue the Federal Aviation Administration for “regulatory overreach” after the agency said earlier this week it plans to fine the company $630,000 for allegedly bypassing regulations on two of its launches in 2023.
SpaceX on Thursday sent a letter to Congress to challenge the fine, and Musk attacked the FAA through his X account, reports The Post Millennial on Friday.
He accused the FAA’s leaders of spending resources to attack his company “while neglecting real safety issues at Boeing” and said that puts lives at risk.
Musk also shared the letter SpaceX sent to Congress.
“For nearly two years, SpaceX has voiced its concerns with the FAA’s inability to keep pace with the commercial spaceflight industry,” the post under the company’s name said. “It is clear that the Agency lacks the resources to timely review licensing materials, but also focuses its limited resources on areas unrelated to public safety. These distractions continue to directly threaten national priorities and undercut American industry’s ability to innovate.”..
Trump to Newsmax on Iran Hack: ‘When Is Grand Jury Meeting?’

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told Newsmax on Thursday that unlike the Russia hoax that dogged him in the aftermath of winning the 2016 election, Iran’s hacking his campaign is “real stuff” and he wants to know what’s going to be done about it.
“So when is the grand jury meeting? I’d like to know.” Trump told “Prime News” host Carl Higbie in an exclusive sit-down interview. “Is there going to be a grand jury?”
The FBI and other federal agencies said Wednesday that Iranian hackers sought to interest President Joe Biden’s campaign in information stolen from Trump’s campaign. Emails were sent in late June and early July, before Biden dropped out of the race.
The emails “contained an excerpt taken from stolen, nonpublic material from former President Trump’s campaign as text in the emails,” according to a U.S. government statement. The agencies said that no recipients responded and a Harris campaign official said Thursday that “the materials were not used.”…
