Sting Nabs 157 Human Traffickers, Florida Sheriff Calls Out Complicit Government

Florida law enforcement officials recently arrested 157 individuals during a human trafficking operation known as “Operation Autumn Sweep.”

The sting, which targeted illegal activities related to prostitution, included 25 illegal immigrants, some of whom allegedly received federal government benefits after entering the country.

The operation commenced on October 2, leading to the identification of four potential human trafficking victims out of the 47 prostitutes who appeared at undercover locations.

Judd’s office reported that 96 of the arrested suspects were charged with soliciting prostitution, with a total of 35 felony charges and 201 misdemeanors issued across the group.

“The approach of Hurricane Milton caused us to end our investigation earlier than planned, but it’s still amazing that in such a short amount of time we were able to put 157 people in jail, and three child predators,” Judd said.

Among the 157 individuals arrested, Sheriff Judd revealed that 25 were in the U.S. illegally, hailing from countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Venezuela.

“Sixteen percent of these total arrests were people who should not even have been in this country,” he stated. “But they were here, and they were here because we have a federal government that enabled these criminals to come into the country, and they treated them very well after the criminals came here illegally.”

Judd shared the story of a female suspect who entered the U.S. with her child. She reported that she flew into Mexico from Venezuela and then crossed the border into El Paso, Texas.

Upon her arrival, she was greeted by Border Patrol agents. “There is no border security at the southern border. Zero. It doesn’t exist,” Judd commented….

Steve Bannon BLASTS ‘Queen of Mass Incarcerations’ Kamala for ‘illegally holding’ him in prison despite his eligibility for First Step act

In a statement Friday, War Room host and former Trump White House Chief Advisor Steve Bannon said that the Biden-Harris administration is illegally continuing to hold him in prison, as he is eligible for the First Step Act.

“Kamala Harris is the ‘Queen of Mass Incarcerations,’ detested by black and Hispanic men who are refusing to turn out and vote for her,” Bannon said in a statement to the National Pulse.

Bannon is currently serving his four-month sentence in a Connecticut federal prison handed down in response to his contempt of Congress conviction.

Harris “has done nothing to implement President Trump’s heroic First Step Act, in fact welcoming hundreds of thousands of hardenedillegalmigrant criminals while allowing US citizens eligible for early release to rot in prison. No massdeportations, but continual mass incarcerations,” he continued.

A motion to reimpose bail or a period of supervised release was filed on August 29. The government’s response has been pending for over 75 days.

Bannon concluded, “The Harris Bureau of Prisons is illegally holding me past my legal release date–trying to eliminate one of President Trump’s strongest advocates–these criminals reek of desperation.”

The First Step Act, passed in 2018, reduces sentences for non-violent offenders and places a focus on rehabilitation, with a key provision allowing for inmates to earn time credits through their participation in education and vocational programs. This time credits could lead to an early release into places such as home confinement or halfway houses…

DC teen girl tells judge she and her friends ‘were bored’ before beating disabled 64-year-old man to death

DC Superior Court judge has sentenced a 15-year-old girl to three years in supervised detention over the beating death of a 64-year-old man last year.

The teen pleaded guilty alongside two others on Oct. 10 to a downgraded charge from second-degree murder to assault with a dangerous weapon and told the court that she and her friends beat the victim to death because they “were bored.”

The convicted teen was one of five girls between the ages of 12 and 15 charged with the brutal killing of Reggie Brown, who died of blunt force trauma on Oct. 17, 2023.

Court documents show that the group of teens chased Brown down the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue, then allegedly beat and kicked him to death. Medical examiners ruled his death a homicide.

His family said he suffered from multiple disabilities and was frail from battling cancer. One of the teens filmed a video of the attack, which prosecutors showed the court. Police said he died at the scene….

DEI Captures the Treasury Department

How left-wing racialism is corrupting America’s national financial system.

The Treasury Department is ground zero for the Biden administration’s “whole-of-government” DEI agenda. The agency, which serves as the guardian of the American financial system, has translated critical race and gender theories into official policy—all under the guise of “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

We have conducted an exclusive investigation that reveals the stunning capture of the Treasury, which, under the current DEI mandate, has worked to advance the principles of left-wing racialism, directing billions of dollars to favored racial and “underserved” groups, hiring a cadre of radical race “experts” to cement the new orthodoxy within the department, and considering potential auditees’ race in IRS tax investigations.

This ideological shift started at the top.

In her first months in office, Treasury secretary Janet Yellen sent a statement to the department’s workers that “commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion is expected of every employee.”

She sent the statement on the anniversary of the May 2020 death of George Floyd, at 9:29 a.m., to symbolize the nine minutes and 29 seconds that police officer Derek Chauvin had pinned Floyd to the ground. The statement set the tone: the Treasury secretary had a new ideological agenda—and expected compliance all the way down.

To implement this agenda, Yellen quickly built a centralized DEI apparatus within the department, establishing an official Equity Hub, tasked with implementing Biden’s executive orders on diversity, and an Advisory Committee on Racial Equity, made up of activists and executives.

She also hired left-wing race activist Janis Bowdler as the department’s first Counselor for Racial Equity, a high-level position “charged with coordinating Treasury’s efforts to advance racial equity including engaging with diverse communities throughout the country.”

Yellen and Bowdler wasted no time, working to advance some of Treasury’s most flagrant racial programs, which subordinated lending standards, federal contracting, hiring policy, and even IRS auditing rules to the new racial calculus….

Study Reveals Higher Hospitalization Rates for COVID Vaccine Side Effects Than for Unvaccinated COVID Patients

A study published on October 5, 2023, in a journal article has uncovered that 3.8 times more individuals vaccinated for COVID-19 were hospitalized due to adverse events (AEs) than unvaccinated individuals were hospitalized for COVID infections. The research focused on a worldwide survey collected from 8,000 to 10,000 participants between February 2022 and October 2023.

The study primarily explored gender-based differences in COVID-related outcomes but revealed significant information about the side effects of the vaccine. It found that 5.69% of vaccinated respondents were hospitalized due to vaccine-related side effects, compared to 1.49% of unvaccinated respondents hospitalized for COVID-19. These findings prompted further discussion on vaccine safety and adverse events.

“Nearly 1.49% of respondents reported hospitalization after COVID-19, whereas 5.69% of the respondents reported hospitalization after vaccination in our cohort,” the journal article stated.

Additionally, it noted that vaccine-related severe symptoms were reported by 9.3% of vaccinated individuals, while 6.7% of unvaccinated respondents reported severe COVID-19 symptoms.

The study highlighted that more women than men reported side effects following the COVID-19 vaccine, with 60% of women and 48% of men reporting adverse events after their first dose.

A significant takeaway from the research was the disparity in reproductive health-related side effects. “Reproductive AEs in vaccinated individuals without COVID-19 illness were more frequent than in unvaccinated individuals with COVID-19 illness,” the study explained.

In particular, women reported irregular menstrual cycles and hormonal changes, with 16.7% experiencing heavy periods or dysmenorrhea, and 17.1% noting irregular periods after vaccination….

Report: Chinese Espionage, Illegal Immigration Surge Under Biden-Harris Administration

A new House GOP report highlights the alarming rise in espionage and illegal immigration activities linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) under the Biden-Harris administration.

The report, obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, outlines a range of criminal activities tied to the CCP that have “expanded rapidly” in recent years, according to a China Threat Snapshot released by the House Committee on Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence.

The report documents 58 CCP-related criminal cases spanning 20 U.S. states from February 2021 to August 2024. The cases cover a wide array of illicit activities, including bribery, hacking, and the theft of trade secrets.

“The Chinese Communist Party is not satisfied with destroying freedom within its borders,” said Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.), chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security. “Beijing has continually encroached upon American sovereignty to spy, intimidate, and harass defectors and U.S. citizens.”

The committee’s report notes that approximately 80% of U.S. economic espionage prosecutions involve conduct benefiting the Chinese state. Trade secret theft cases, which account for 14 of the 58 criminal cases, were a significant focus.

One such case involved Chinese national Chenguang Gong, who was charged with stealing sensitive trade secrets related to nuclear missile detection technology in February 2024.

The report also highlighted a significant increase in Chinese nationals illegally crossing the U.S. border, with more than 36,000 apprehended in fiscal year 2024 alone, exceeding all apprehensions recorded from FY2007 to FY2020 combined.

The House Committee attributed part of the surge to the Biden administration’s decision to simplify the vetting process for Chinese nationals, reducing the number of interview questions for illegal immigrants from around 40 to just five questions….

Foreign Election Interference: UK Labour Party Sends Activists to Support Kamala Harris in U.S. Battleground States

In a move stirring international controversy, the UK’s governing Labour Party has reportedly dispatched around 100 activists to the United States to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in critical swing states.

The effort has led to accusations of election interference and possible violations of U.S. election law, with prominent figures on both sides of the Atlantic weighing in.

The revelation came through a now-deleted social media post by Sofia Patel, Labour’s Director of Operations. Patel’s post invited Labour Party staff to campaign in states such as North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, promising paid accommodation for volunteers.

“I have nearly 100 Labour Party staff (current and former) going to the U.S. in the next few weeks,” Patel wrote, before offering additional spots for North Carolina.

The move has sparked sharp criticism from political figures in the U.S., including Elon Musk and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who suggested the UK government should focus on its own domestic issues rather than interfere in U.S. elections.

Greene specifically pointed to potential breaches of U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules, tweeting, “Foreign nationals are not allowed to be involved in any way in U.S. elections. Please go back to the UK and fix your own mass immigration problems that are ruining your country.”…

Zelensky’s Nuclear Arms Comments ‘Dangerous Provocation’ – Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s suggestion that Kyiv would seek nuclear weapons if it could not join NATO was a “dangerous provocation,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday.

The Ukrainian leader made the comments at an EU summit on Thursday, in which he said “either Ukraine will have nuclear weapons, which will protect us, or we must have some kind of alliance.”

He was recalling a conversation he had had with former U.S. President Donald Trump about Ukraine giving up its nuclear arsenal after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

“This is a dangerous provocation,” Putin said at a meeting with journalists from the BRICS group of emerging economies. “Any step in this direction will be met with a corresponding reaction.

“It is not difficult to create nuclear weapons in the modern world,” he added.

“I do not know whether Ukraine is capable of doing it now, it is not so easy for Ukraine of today, but in general there is no great difficulty here.”

A Head-to-Head Comparison of NATO’s Military Might vs Russia

NATO’s projected capacity: 3,184 vehicles
United States’ projected capacity: 4,657 vehicles

With Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the countries of NATO have stood united to provide support to Ukraine in the form of weapons, funds, and other supplies. Although countries in NATO are providing aid to Ukraine, these countries have had no direct conflict with Russia. (Check out the 195 countries with military neutrality or no military, and who has to defend them.) 24/7 Wall St. took a look at Russia’s military power versus NATO, although NATO’s current stance is defensive with the goal of preventing further conflict.

Using data from Global Firepower’s 2024 report on international military capabilities, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed how NATO’s military strength compares to Russia’s military strength. If a conflict were to arise, individual NATO members could likely not commit all military assets to the war effort.

Global Firepower assumed a minimum 25% contribution from each NATO ally for each category listed in this story, from active-duty troops and reserve forces to weapons and material. Similarly, Global Firepower assumed only 75% of Russian military assets to be available and operational. We also included Global Firepower’s estimates of American military power and assets.

The ongoing war in Ukraine is the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II. While NATO has been supplying aid in the form of weapons and money to the Ukrainian effort, no NATO ally has engaged directly in combat…so far.

Should the war spill across the border of a NATO country, all NATO allies will be obligated under the principle of collective defense to take up arms against Russia. Understanding how Russia and NATO allies are positioned provides a deeper look into how a potential war might go, and whose defense spending supports stronger military output.

Let’s look at where NATO’s military capabilities stand compared to Russia.

China’s New Aircraft Carriers Have 1 Crazy Advantage over the U.S. Navy

China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) has rapidly expanded its aircraft carrier fleet, with three carriers in service and a fourth rumored to be nuclear-powered. By the 2030s, China aims to have up to six carriers.

-However, unlike the U.S., China’s naval strategy centers not on its carriers, but on advanced anti-access/area-denial (A2/AD) systems. These defensive systems create a “bubble” within which China can operate its carriers, especially within the First Island Chain, while keeping U.S. naval forces at bay.

-China’s carriers are a tool for regional influence, operating under the protection of its powerful A2/AD network.

The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) has been building a fleet of increasingly sophisticated aircraft carriers. What began as the butt of all jokes in the naval community—China’s Russian-built aircraft carrier called the Liaoninghas helped the PLAN develop into a robust (though untested and still limited) carrier force.

Possessing three total aircraft carriers, with a fourth on the way, China is churning out their aircraft carriers like sausages (thanks to the mass production capabilities that Wall Street handed over to China during the deindustrialization craze that befell America in the middle of the last century). The fourth carrier in China’s growing fleet is rumored to be nuclear (the other three are non-nuclear).

China’s naval planners desire to have five or six aircraft carriers in their fleet by the 2030s, according to Wang Yunfei, a retired PLAN officer with knowledge about Beijing’s carrier plans. …

Hurricane Reconstruction

The recent hurricanes took a heavy toll. The cost of rebuilding will be significant.

Politicians from the areas hit now want hundreds of billions of dollars in aid.

When disaster strikes, the federal government definitely has a role because the feds control resources like the military and other first responders. After Hurricane Harvey, FEMA housed 42,000 people in 692 shelters. After Irma, 13,000 National Guard soldiers helped rescue and evacuate people. That’s the kind of emergency response we expect from the federal government.

But why is rebuilding afterwards the federal government’s responsibility? Until recently, businesses and charities handled most disaster response.

The private sector does a better job than government. Federal rebuilding creates moral hazards that lead to expectations of even more government help.
