The family of a 74-year-old woman who was allegedly killed after being pushed into an oncoming train has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against San Francisco’s transit agency. The woman’s alleged killer reportedly was a man with 27 arrests who was banned previously from the transit system.

Corazon Dandan was waiting for a train at the Powell Street station in downtown San Francisco on July 1, 2024. The incident allegedly occurred as Dandan was returning home from her night shift as a telephone operator at Hilton’s Parc 55 hotel in Union Square.

KTVU-TV reported that Dandan was shoved so hard that she fell backward on the platform. She was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Belmont was arrested by police at the scene of the crime.

There was no clear motive for the apparent crime, authorities said.

The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office said Belmont was charged with murder. He was also charged with the special circumstance of lying in wait — a legal term to describe when a suspect deliberately hides to surprise their victim in an ambush-like attack…

WATCH: Democrat state senator handcuffed after refusing to show driver’s license at traffic stop

A longtime state senator in Oklahoma was caught-on-camera going head-to-head with a sheriff deputy after a traffic stop dissolved into a “very verbal” ordeal.

Body camera footage obtained by Fox News Digital showed State Sen. Regina Goodwin, a Democrat from Tulsa, repeatedly arguing with Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputy Freddie Alaniz shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The scene was recorded by Alaniz’s body-worn camera and began with a tense exchange between the deputy and the elected official. Goodwin was pulled over after Alaniz said that he witnessed the official fail to stop at two stop signs.

Trump tours Helene-hit North Carolina on first trip of second term

President Donald Trump kicked off his first cross-country tour of his second term Friday, visiting disaster areas in North Carolina and California before heading to Nevada on Saturday for a rally.

The tour comes as Trump considers overhauling the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), floating the idea that he’d rather see states handle their “own problems.”

Trump will return as he renews his criticism of the Biden administration, accusing it and FEMA of abandoning North Carolina, which still faces more than $50 billion in damage.

During his speech, Trump suggested he would eliminate the agency altogether, leaving disaster response up to states.

After the Tar Heel State, Trump will head to California, where wildfires continue to burn and first responders work to contain the blazes….

Donald Trump promises ‘rapid reconstruction’ in North Carolina after historic Helene flooding

Southern California wildfires surge — as region hopes for first widespread rain in months

Southern California is grappling with a surge in wildfires, with nine active fires currently burning across the region.

However, there’s encouraging news as containment efforts are increasing.

Two massive fires, the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires, have been raging near Los Angeles since Jan. 7, with containment efforts reaching 75% and 95%, respectively.

A number of new outbreaks are still appearing this week, including several in the counties of Ventura and Riverside, as well as near San Diego.

A new wildfire, dubbed “Border 2,” has erupted near Chula Vista, just 9 miles southeast of San Diego, prompting early morning evacuation orders Friday.

“The problem is we keep having fires pop up, and they’re popping up in very populated areas,” said FOX Weather Meteorologist Britta Merwin.

As of Friday, the Hughes Fire in Los Angeles County has also forced thousands to evacuate….

A look at executive orders President Trump has signed

President Donald Trump wasted no time in carrying out his White House agenda with a series of executive orders ranging from securing the U.S.-Mexico border and the ban on TikTok to pushing economic policies designed to prioritize American interests.

By signing 26 executive orders during his first day in office alone, Trump put himself on pace to rank among the fastest-acting presidents during his first 100 days in office.

In addition to curbing the flow of migrants entering the U.S. illegally, Trump has vowed to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion programs within the government and to establish the Department of Government Efficiency.

Here’s a look at the executive orders that Trump has signed thus far:

Trump declares a national emergency at the southern border

This order helps the secretary of defense quickly and seamlessly deploy members of armed forces to the border and free up more federal resources.

Trump ends ‘catch-and-release’ of migrants

Trump signed an executive order ending the federal program that allowed immigrants who entered the country illegally to remain in the country as long as they were in the process of asylum….

J6 Pardons and Commutations Set the Basis for Real Justice – And That Includes Reparations! – Meeting Tomorrow

Here are a few photos of the January 6 victims who suffered barbaric police violence.

Their exoneration is the opening salvo of the Trump administration’s war against the Deep State.

The hundreds of thousands who traveled from across the country at their own expense on January 6, 2021 had come to Washington D.C. in order to demonstrate their support of the Constitution and of President Trump’s MAGA agenda to restore it.

The overwhelming majority of these citizens had no criminal intent, were not armed, and could not possibly have imagined such an insidious entrapment and betrayal by their own government as that which tragically occurred.

The vicious persecution inflicted upon thousands of American citizens and their families by the Biden regime was unprecedented in American history. There was a wholesale obliteration of constitutional rights which allowed persecution to devastate 1500+ human beings without restraint.

President Trump has started to correct what he has called a grave injustice against not only the J6 protesters but the rule of law itself.

Overruling opposition from RINO politicians, Trump exhibited constitutional clarity in recognizing and swiftly reversing the civil rights abuses carried out by a Biden administration so corrupt, that in the hours before he left office, Crooked Joe literally wrote unprecedented “preemptive pardons” for many of his government gangsters and family members.

Homan: ICE Has Made 1300 Arrests, Including Pedophiles, Gang Members, And At Least 1 Terrorist

Scott Stephen Ball for The Washington Post via Getty Images

Among them, according to a report published Friday by The New York Post, were known pedophiles, gang members, and at least one suspected terrorist who was living in New York.

Homan discussed the unfolding situation with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo, where he explained that of the 1300 arrests, more than 1000 had committed additional crimes other than simply coming into the United States illegally or overstaying a legal visa.

“What I can tell you right now, Chris, is we’ve arrested 1300 people, over a thousand of them are criminals,” Homan began. “Who are the other ones? They’re either fugitives who’ve been through immigration court, have been ordered to be removed but didn’t, became a fugitive, or collaterals.”

Homan went on to explain that “collaterals” were illegal aliens who had not necessarily committed additional crimes other than entering the country illegally, but they got caught up when ICE agents arrested someone else who should have been held by local authorities but were not because they were in a “sanctuary” jurisdiction…

The images will please many Americans who want President Donald Trump to secure the southern border and prevent gang members, criminals, and migrants from entering the nation.

“The Trump Administration arrested 538 illegal immigrant criminals including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several illegals convicted of sex crimes against minors,” Leavitt wrote on X.

“The Trump Administration also deported hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals via military aircraft. The largest massive deportation operation in history is well underway. Promises made. Promises kept,” she said.

Trump Demands California Voter ID Law, Eyes Ending FEMA

President Donald Trump on Friday said he wants California to implement voter ID laws before he would approve federal funds to help it recover from massive wildfires there and said he might eliminate the federal emergency response agency.

“I want to see two things in Los Angeles: Voter ID so that the people have a chance to vote. And I want to see the water be released and come down into Los Angeles and throughout the state. Those are the two things. After that, I will be the greatest president that California ever has ever seen,”  Trump said during a visit to North Carolina.

Trump has showered Gov. Gavin Newsom and California leaders with disdain for water policies that he claimed worsened the recent blazes.

He said he would “take a look at a fire that could have been put out if they let the water flow, but they didn’t let the water flow.”..

Upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free just got even easier

Image: Ralf Liebhold / Shutterstock

Microsoft has just made Windows 10 users an offer they (almost) can’t refuse: a free update to Windows 11 version 24H2. Details can be found on this support page, where Microsoft writes:

“Windows 11, version 24H2, also known as the Windows 11 2024 Update, is now broadly available.

Starting this week, we are expanding this latest Windows version’s phased rollout. We are gradually offering this update also to eligible devices running Windows 10, version 22H2.”

Clearly, Microsoft wants Windows 10 users to transition to Windows 11, and they’re doing everything they can to make the process as easy and enticing as possible. The company also wants users to hop aboard Windows 11 24H2 — so much so that they recently made the update mandatory — so they’re killing two birds with one stone here…
