After Years Of Crying About Alleged Foreign Election Interference, Dems Are Begging A Court To Let Noncitizens Vote
For eight years, Democrats railed against alleged foreign election interference, going so far as to spy on President Donald Trump’s first campaign after making up false claims of foreign interference.
Now Democrats in the Big Apple are begging the courts to let 800,000 noncitizens vote in local elections.
New York’s highest court will hear arguments on Tuesday in support of a 2022 law that would allow roughly 800,000 noncitizens to vote in municipal elections if they are a “lawful permanent resident or authorized to work in the United States” and have lived in New York City for at least a month.
The law was previously struck down last February by the Second Judicial Department in the appellate division of the state Supreme Court, with Justice Paul Wooten holding that the law was “in violation of the New York State Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.” The Second Judicial Department’s decision upheld a previous decision by a lower court.
As noted in the ruling from the Second Judicial Department, the complaint argued that “noncitizens could potentially make up 15% or more of the electorate in future elections … which is greater than the margin of victory in many municipal elections.”
In short, Democrats want to allow noncitizens to vote and swing local elections. But Democrats spent years pretending to care about foreign election interference (that they made up)….

ICE continues to make major arrests in Texas, including cartel, gang members
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations agents, working with other law enforcement officials, continue to apprehend violent illegal border crossers, including members of Mexican cartels.
Earlier this month, they arrested a member of the Cartel del Golfo, a 36-year-old Mexican citizen who was in the U.S. illegally. The cartel member has a criminal record, including a felony conviction for possession of marijuana and illegal entry.
HSI also identified him as the leader of a sicario cell. Sicarios are hitmen, often involved in kidnapping, and wanted by U.S. and Mexican authorities.
The Gulf Cartel has traditionally controlled the trafficking of people and drugs in the region of Mexico south of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. In the last few years, Gulf, Zeta and CJNG cartel members have increasingly engaged in violence in Tamaulipas, battling for control over a multibillion-dollar trafficking business, The Center Square reported.
ICE’s HSI agents, working with law enforcement partners, also arrested a Tren de Aragua gang member, a 27-year-old Venezuelan citizen in the U.S. illegally. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and is the suspected shooter in an attempted murder investigation in San Antonio. He remains in state custody.

The documents expose that USAID provided full tuition funding for al-Awlaki to attend Colorado State University in 1990 through a J-1 scholarship program intended for foreign students.
al-Awlaki was actually born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, however, making him an American citizen ineligible for the foreign student program.
The revelation comes amid intense scrutiny of USAID’s spending practices and President Trump’s recent moves to shut down the agency.

Top CFPB leaders dismissed as Trump team begins to dismantle agency
Two top leaders of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau were removed from their roles Tuesday — in the first staffing cuts as President Trump’s team begins an ambitious effort to gut the 1,700-person agency, The Post has learned.
Enforcement director Eric Halperin and supervision director Lorelei Salas were placed on administrative leave by Mark Paoletta, the top lawyer at both the CFPB and the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
Halperin, who made remarks seen as defying orders from Trump’s aides to pause all work, resigned six minutes after receiving an email informing him that he was being placed on leave “effective immediately.”
The entire CFPB workforce was ordered Monday by acting director Russ Vought to “not come into the office” and to “get approval in writing before performing any work tasks.”
Paoletta warned the staff in a Monday email that they were not to do anything relating to enforcement and that “[f]ailure to abide by these instructions constitutes insubordination and we will take appropriate personnel action.”

AFlorida male on parole allegedly pummeled an elderly man in a random attack Sunday evening — and then hurled the 72-year-old victim’s small dog by the leash into a bush.
The attack took place just before 7:50 p.m. near the oceanfront of Pompano Beach, and the Broward Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Anthony Tramaine Harris, 35, of Fort Lauderdale, WPLG-TV reported.
Deputies said Harris — who was on parole for an out-of-state burglary — approached the man, who was walking his dog, and asked him, “What’s your name?” the station said.
When the victim refused to divulge it, deputies told WPLG that “Harris grabbed him, threw him to the ground, and then proceeded to punch him in the back of the head three times,” which left the victim with multiple scrapes.
The station, citing an arrest report, indicated that surveillance video shows Harris grabbing the small dog by the leash and throwing it into a bush, “which could have injured the dog.”
Deputies added to WPLG that jail records indicate that Harris was given an $11,000 bond on charges of battery on a person 65 or older, animal cruelty, and resisting arrest. The station added that Harris will remain behind bars for violating the conditions of his parole….
Russia and Ukraine Trade Missile and Drone Strikes on Energy Infrastructure
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Russian forces targeted Ukraine’s energy and gas infrastructure in a “massive” nighttime missile attack and Ukrainian drones struck an important oil refinery inside Russia, officials said Tuesday, as the almost three-year war rumbled on against a backdrop of renewed diplomatic efforts to end it.
Ukraine’s state energy company, Ukrenergo, said it imposed emergency blackouts due to the Russian attack. Russia has repeatedly hammered Ukraine’s power grid throughout the war.
Meanwhile, as part of its long-range drone campaign against targets deep inside Russia, Ukraine hit a refinery in Russia’s Saratov region about 500 kilometers (300 miles) from Ukraine’s border, the Army General Staff claimed. The facility produces gasoline, fuel oil and diesel fuel for the Russian military, it said.
President Donald Trump’s senior advisers are expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later this week on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference to discuss a path toward ending the war.
Kristi Noem Terminates Four FEMA Employees Who Circumvented Leadership to Make Payments for Migrant Housing in New York Hotel
“Effective immediately, FEMA is terminating the employment of four individuals for circumventing leadership to unilaterally make egregious payments for luxury NYC hotels for migrants,” DHS’s Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement, noting that the firings include FEMA’s Chief Financial Officer, two program analysts, as well as a grant specialist.
“Under President Trump and Secretary Noem’s leadership, DHS will not sit idly and allow deep state activists to undermine the will and safety of the American people,” McLaughlin added.

‘This is not a game’: Homan says ICE raid leaks likely coming ‘from the inside’
President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan said during a Monday interview with Fox News he believes leaked information about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids are coming “from the inside.”
Officials this week condemned the release of a report by the Los Angeles Times which revealed a “large scale” operation would hit the area before the end of the month. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem suggested Sunday the FBI may have contributed to the leak of the information.
“The FBI is so corrupt,” she wrote via X. “We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law.”
Homan explained in the interview the secretary may be on the right track.
“We think it’s coming from the inside,” he said. “We know the first leak in Aurora is under investigation, we’ve identified that person. Under investigation right now is the California leak. Secretary Noem, she’s correct on some of the information we’re receiving tends to lead toward the FBI.”
Those responsible for the leaks, he added, would not only lose their jobs, but could face prosecution…
