Trump’s ‘gold card’ lets rich immigrants pay $5 million for US residency

The Trump administration has a plan to get wealthy immigrants into the United States. Trump’s gold card will allow foreigners to pay $5 million to live and work in the country with a possible pathway to citizenship.
“You have a green card,” President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office Tuesday, Feb. 25. “This is a gold card. We’re going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million. And that’s going to give you green card privileges plus it’s going to be a route to citizenship.”
“They’ll be wealthy, and they’ll be successful, and they’ll be spending a lot of money and paying a lot of taxes and employing a lot of people,” the president added. “And we think it’s going to be extremely successful.”
The president said while the plan could provide a path to citizenship, there are some limitations to what he can unilaterally do.
“We don’t need Congress now because we’re not doing citizenship,” Trump said in response to a question about needing congressional approval. “It’s a path to citizenship, a very strong path to citizenship. But we’re not doing citizenship. For that, I’d have to get Congress.”
The gold card would effectively replace the current EB-5 Immigrant Investment Program.
Trump said all applicants under the program will “be vetted very carefully.”
The Trump administration said they will start selling the gold card in two weeks. Lutnick said the proceeds could be used to pay down national deficits. …
Nearly 120 arrested in ICE raid of large housing development in Texas

President Donald Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan told Fox News the effort was part of a larger operation.
Homan said that some migrants were apprehended at worksites, while others were arrested during traffic stops. Some also had warrants.
“I know for a fact, there was several sexual predators. I mean, child predators that were arrested for sexual misconduct with a child,” Homan told Fox News. “I know there was one that was convicted of either homicide or murder.”
Authorities did not release the identities of all 118 people they arrested, although. However, they did highlight some individuals.
An ICE spokesperson in Houston said one of the individuals arrested has been deported three times and was arrested on a warrant for repeated sexual abuse of a minor from November 2008 to November 2016.
ICE also said authorities arrested an MS-13 gang member who had previously been deported in connection with a murder.
The agency also revealed various charges and convictions associated with those who were arrested, including child sexual abuse, homicide, negligent manslaughter, theft, weapons and drug offenses….
DOGE: Millions of Taxpayer Dollars Were Poised to Drive ‘Social and Behavior’ Change in Uganda, Developing ‘Socially Responsible’ Behaviors in Colombia

“US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled,” DOGE announced, providing a list of several ways the U.S. government was poised to waste hard-earned taxpayer dollars. For example, $42 million was expected to go to Johns Hopkins to “research and drive ‘social and behavior change’ in Uganda.” Another $25 million was set to “‘promote biodiversity conservation and promote licit livelihoods’ by developing ‘socially responsible’ behaviors in Colombia.”
Further, $40 million was set to “improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants,” and a whopping $520 million was allotted for a consultant to do what DOGE described as “ESG investments in Africa and ‘mobilize private sector resources and expertise.’”
The taxpayer money that was set to be wasted overseas does not end there, as DOGE also revealed that $69 million was set to go to the Eurasia Foundation for “digital transformation activity” in Europe.
Other discoveries, per DOGE’s list, include:
-$32mm to Internews for programs including “media enabling democracy, inclusion, and accountability in Moldova” and the promotion of “sustainable media outlets”
-$7mm for the American Bar Association to promote the “resilience” of the “Eurasian legal sector and civic society”
-$45mm to “address the needs, opportunities, and challenges identified by activists and other civic actors engaged in nonviolent collective action”
-$52mm for the World Economic Forum
According to DOGE’s official website, the total estimated savings rings in around $65 billion thus far. DOGE says this savings is a combination of what it describes as “fraud detection/deletion, contract/lease cancellations, contract/lease renegotiations, asset sales, grant cancellations, workforce reductions, programmatic changes, and regulatory savings.”…

USAID Funded Pet Apps, Fashion Companies, Designer Furniture, Sen. Ernst Reveals

“USAID was wasting tax dollars like it was going out of style,” Ernst, who chairs the Senate DOGE Caucus focused on rooting out waste and abuse from the federal government, told The Daily Signal in a statement Tuesday. “Rogue agencies like USAID should not be allowed to cloak themselves in secrecy from public scrutiny.”
“The fact that I uncovered millions for custom carpet manufacturers and pet tracking apps is exactly why we need a full accounting of every cent spent,” she added.
Ernst’s office provided The Daily Signal a copy of the grants her office discovered. Her staff found grants flowing to Ukrainian companies through two USAID programs: the Competitive Economy Project and the Investment for Business Resilience program.
The Competitive Economy Project sent $300,000 to support Animal ID, a pet tracking app using digital QR codes that aims to provide the app in the U.S. market, and $300,000 to a dog collar manufacturer.
The project also awarded $150,000 to a modern women’s attire company; $128,000 to a trade mission for a fashion design house; $126,000 to a photographer for fashion design publications; $161,000 to a purveyor of contemporary knitwear (helping her find new customers overseas); $84,000 to a luxury bridal brand; and $84,000 to a marketplace for designer artisanal pieces inspired by folk crafts.
The project awarded $94,000 to a trade mission for a condiment manufacturer; $255,000 to a producer of organic tea and coffee; $148,000 to a pickle maker; $89,000 to a Ukrainian vineyard; and $104,000 to an artisanal fruit tea company.
It also funneled U.S. taxpayer dollars to designer furniture companies, including $114,000 to a premium, limited-edition furniture line that “aims to increase its sales in the United States,” and $91,000 to a trade mission for a Scandinavian-style furniture line….
Army Caught Juicing Recruitment Numbers by Enlisting Fatties

The U.S. Army is breaking with its own fitness standards on body fat percentage to gain more recruits, a report from the Department of Defense (DOD) Inspector General found Feb. 18.
The Army Future Soldier Preparatory Course, established by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASA[M&RA]), gives recruits who do not meet base fitness standards 90 days to fall in line, and allows individuals who are as much as 8% above the required body fat percentage—26% for men and 36% for women—to enlist.
However, the DOD Investigator General found that 14% of 1,181 trainees at the Army Training Center and Fort Jackson (ATC&FJ) between February and May 2024 exceeded these expanded limits.
“Aggravating the issue with the lack of medical resources, ATC&FJ leadership allowed trainees into the program who did not meet the body fat percentage standards established by the ASA(M&RA),” the report read. “Of the 1,181 trainees who attended the ARMS 2.0 pilot program from February 12, 2024, through May 22, 2024, 14 percent (163 trainees) exceeded the allowable 8 percent above the body fat composition limit for initial entry, with the highest being 19 percent.”
Gen. Gary Brito, head of Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) who oversees the course, “unilaterally” and “without authority,” enacted a policy to accept trainees at 10% above the body fat standard, according to the report.
Moreover, over a third of trainees were dismissed immediately after arriving at ATC&FJ too overweight, according to the report.
Investigators also claimed that dieticians tasked with aiding the overweight recruits were vastly overworked, with some seeing up to 400 to 500 recruits at any given time….

Trump shares AI video of his vision for Gaza — featuring giant gold statue and him lounging poolside with Netanyahu

President Trump has shared an AI-generated video depicting his resort-like vision for the future of Gaza — featuring a gigantic golden statue of the president as well as images of him lounging topless poolside with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The 30-second clip, shared on Truth Social late Tuesday, opens by showing a blighted Gaza following 15 months of Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists — before asking, “What next?” in red, white and blue text.
Scenes of destruction morph into a sunny beach resort, as a lively dance track with the lyrics “Donald Trump will set you free, bringing the life for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here” starts to play.
The computer-generated clip then depicts Elon Musk eating bread dipped in hummus on the beach — before quickly cutting to bearded Hamas terrorists bizarrely dancing in bikinis on the sand…

The Deep-State SCAM: How YOUR Tax Dollars Are Funneled to Radical Left Groups
How do left-wing and Soros-backed organizations get so much money?
Jason Buttrill, head writer and researcher for Glenn Beck, says the government used to funnel money to groups like the Tides Foundation, which would in turn disburse the funds to progressive groups and make the money disappear.
Buttrill says USAID was able to give money to foreign governments as a form of bribery before it entered the DOGE’s crosshairs.
FTC Launches Probe Into Big Tech Censorship Under Chairman Andrew Ferguson

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) under the leadership of chairman Andrew Ferguson has launched its own probe into Big Tech’s censorship of Americans. This is the initial step, a Request for Information (RFI), that could lead to a full investigation.
The announcement on the FTC website said the goal of the public inquiry is to “better understand” the ways tech companies behind social networks ban users or “degrade” their access based on speech or affiliations.
The Commission wants to establish if such practices may be illegal, in addition to being “un-American” – by preventing people from speaking freely and openly.
In order to arrive at a conclusion, the FTC is inviting those members of the public who have been subjected to banning, shadow banning, demonetization, and other forms of online censorship to submit their comments – but also anyone else who can shed light on the topic, Ferguson said in a post on X.
However, tech companies’ employees who may have witnessed censorship are also urged to submit reports to the Commission.
The process of opening formal investigations often starts with the FTC requesting public comments. The FTC states on its site that comments from the public help better inform this body regarding the efforts related to policy-making, law enforcement, and education….
We have a battle between truth versus money

Dr. Malhotra, in this popular magazine a front page article appeared discussing that more and more young people of Generation Z are depressed, fearful and burnt out. Why do you think that is?
“I think one of the main causes behind the deteriorating mental health, not just of Generation Z, but of children and adults in general, are structural problems in our society. We call them biopsychosocial problems. We are creating a culture which is more and more selfish, individualistic and materialistic. Where values are primarily placed upon wealth, possessions, image and status. And then it’s exacerbated by social media. When you look at the evidence in science of psychology on what has the most important impact on optimising someone’s mental health, it is the opposite of that. The most important determinant of mental well-being is meaningful relationships, connection with each other, connection with nature, connection with our work.”
“But an opposite culture is being created by big corporations that have become the dominant force in our society. And that corporate culture is purely based upon how we exploit other human beings to make money. That means by deception.”
“One of the biggest issues that’s going on in society today is that we have a battle of truth versus money. And a battle between materialism versus spirituality. “
“The social media algorithms exacerbate anxieties and status and image as most important values, rather than actually the basics of acting within honesty and integrity and being authentic. Social media in many ways portrays an image of people which is not authentic.”
Of course you’re not generation Z, but have you been influenced by those social media forces yourself?
“Yes, absolutely. Part of my understanding of this comes from my own addiction. In social media there is an engineered addiction to manipulate the masses for commercial gain.”….
