X on pace for first year of ad revenue growth since Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022

X is projected to generate $1.31 billion in US advertising sales in 2025 – up 17.5% from the year before, according to Emarketer, Bloomberg reported.
Its global ad sales are estimated to hit $2.26 billion this year, up 16.5%, according to Emarketer.
Many advertisers fled X after Musk dismantled its content regulation team and pledged to make the site a “free speech” platform.
But other social media giants — like Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta — have since followed suit.
“It’s more of a realization that even if it’s not acceptable, it’s unavoidable,” Enberg said.
Enberg also said some advertisers may be returning to X out of fear of legal action, after Musk sued major advertisers like Lego and Nestlé, accusing them of an advertising boycott campaign…
President Trump says he’s ‘going to take a look at’ fatal Jan. 6 shooting of Ashli Babbitt

President Donald J. Trump said he plans to investigate the “unthinkable” Jan. 6 fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt and why the U.S. Department of Justice is still opposing the $30 million wrongful-death lawsuit filed by Aaron Babbitt and Judicial Watch.
In a March 25 interview with Greg Kelly of Newsmax, President Trump said he plans to look into Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, who killed Babbitt from a hidden position, allegedly before even establishing whether she was armed or otherwise a threat. Byrd has said he feared for his life.
Kelly noted that Byrd — who is now a captain assigned to a training role making nearly $190,000 a year — was promoted in 2023 and given a medal by the Biden administration in the wake of the fatal shooting.
“I think it’s a disgrace,” President Trump said. “I’m going to take a look at it. I’m going to look at that, too. His reputation was, I won’t even say. Let’s find out about his reputation, OK? We’re going to find out.”
Trump’s comment seemed a likely reference to a letter released in late 2024 by U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), who detailed Byrd’s history of alleged aggressive personal behavior and reckless use of his service weapon. Loudermilk, then chairman of the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, said the records of three disciplinary cases against Byrd were somehow missing.
Writing to Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, Loudermilk said Byrd was given $36,000 in unrestricted funds as a “retention bonus” in 2021, while other Capitol Police officers received around $3,000 each. Byrd was reimbursed for more than $21,000 in security upgrades for his personal residence in Prince George’s County, Md….
Early law enforcement success seen with in Arizona border county

Collaboration between state and local law enforcement in a southern border county is helping to disrupt the flow of illicit drugs into Arizona, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
Officials Wednesday praised the results as early news of success for Operation Desert Guardian, a joint task force that was created in February by an executive order signed by Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs. The task force consists of local, state and federal agencies.
The Department of Public Safety said its Operation Desert Guardian collaboration with the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the seizure of 4.5 grams of methamphetamine and the recovery of two stolen vehicles. Law enforcement made 114 traffic stops that led to arrests for three felonies and nine misdemeanors.
The southeastern Arizona county is on the border with Mexico.
“It is no secret that the transnational criminal cartels are exploiting our country by producing and sending these deadly drugs into our country that kill thousands of Americans every year,” Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels said in a news release. “This complementary effort by law enforcement and our state to combat these criminals is long overdue.”
Collaboration between local and state law enforcement is leading to success in disrupting the flow of drugs and keeping communities safe, said Col. Jeffrey Glover, director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety….
Trio of thugs wanted in beating death of lone victim at gas station. Video shows several people just watching attack happen.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Gavin Melchor, officials said.
A preliminary investigation indicated the victim possibly was involved in an argument after which the assault took place, officials said.
Video police released shows the victim standing between two parked vehicles and talking to three individuals.
At one point, the victim stretches his arms outward, and suddenly, one suspect wearing a white T-shirt lunges at him, slams him backward into one of the parked vehicles, and tackles him to the parking lot surface.
The clip shows the same suspect appearing to pull objects from the victim’s pockets while another suspect wearing a black sweater with an orange design kicks the victim in the head.
Investigators indeed said the suspect in the white T-shirt robbed the victim. Investigators also said a suspect carrying a pink bag knocked the victim unconscious.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased, officials said.
KTRK-TV interviewed members of Melchor’s family, and they urged people to come forward with information about the suspects.
“They’re all a bunch of cowards to me,” Melchor’s father, Chris, told the station…
Fort Carson Strykers Cleared to Transport Border Patrol Agents

Soldiers from Fort Carson have been cleared to transport Customs and Border Patrol agents while they assist with illegal-immigration enforcement.
Northern Command said in a news release Tuesday that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had granted military service members additional authority to assist with immigration enforcement, including transportation and helping “detect, track, and monitor movements” using military vehicles and foot patrols.
The 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team from Fort Carson is deploying to the southern border and will be more effectively used with the new authorities, the news release said. Strykers are eight-wheeled vehicles specialized for different tasks such as troop transport and medical evacuation.
“Enhanced detection and monitoring authorities enable units assigned to U.S. Northern Command’s southern border mission to detect, track, and monitor suspected illegal activity with increased mobility and flexibility and with advanced optical sensors,” said Gen. Gregory Guillot, who leads U.S. Northern Command, in a statement. “The authority to transport CBP personnel during patrols means law enforcement personnel will be on-hand or nearby to conduct any necessary law enforcement activity.”
Fort Carson is sending about 2,400 soldiers to the border with brigade. When the entire brigade arrives, the number of military service members along the border will reach 9,000, Northern Command said in early March…
4 US Soldiers Died in Lithuanian Training Exercise, NATO Secretary General Says

An Army official familiar with the situation said initial reports suggest the soldiers’ vehicle may have become submerged in a swamp. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, cautioned that search teams are still exploring all possibilities, and the Army has not yet provided a definitive account of the incident.
Lithuanian authorities launched an extensive search operation, deploying law enforcement personnel, military units and aircraft assets to assist U.S. forces.
The soldiers were participating in a routine training exercise near Pabradė, a strategic military area close to the Belarusian border. Belarus, a staunch Russian ally, has played a critical role in Moscow’s ongoing war in Ukraine, making Lithuania a key location for NATO training operations.
The news comes after two 3rd Infantry Division soldiers died in a separate tactical vehicle training incident in January near Fort Stewart. Staff Sgt. Shelbe Butner, 28, and Spc. Jacob Mullen, 25, died when their Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, or JLTV, rolled over into a body of water and the cabin filled with water, according to a service incident report.
The 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, was deployed to Europe in January as part of a broader effort to bolster NATO’s front lines. Lithuania, a NATO member since 2004, has hosted a steady rotation of allied forces in recent years, serving as a key training ground for military exercises designed to deter Russian aggression.
While combat fatalities have become relatively rare in recent years, tactical vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death for service members….
This Gov’t Agency Is Still Spending $1,000,000,000 on DEI Despite Trump’s Order to Cut It Out.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) continues to fund more than a billion dollars in diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, even after President Donald Trump ordered federal agencies to eliminate them.
While other agencies have moved to eliminate the “illegal and immoral programs” targeted in Trump’s day-one executive order, NIH is still funding over $1.3 billion in active grants that include DEI components—from race-based hiring schemes to “anti-racist” training initiatives and diversity-first faculty pipelines.
At least $441 million of those grants explicitly cite DEI in their project descriptions, according to NIH data compiled by watchdog group Do No Harm.
“The NIH spends billions and billions of dollars, and those are taxpayer dollars,” Dr. Kurt Miceli, the group’s medical director, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “So we really need to be sensitive to what those dollars are being used for, and we need to be good stewards of those dollars.”
Among the still-active grants is a $28 million 2022 award to Mount Sinai—the largest hospital network in New York City—which pledges to embed “an anti-racist mindset” and “justice, equity, diversity, [and] inclusion,” or JEDI, into every layer of its medical research infrastructure until it expires in 2028. A $10 million grant to the University of Michigan from 2023 similarly promises to “expand the diversity of voices” in research and train “diverse types” of clinicians across the state until 2027.
Another $40 million artificial intelligence initiative from 2024 under the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute is tasked with applying AI to biomedical data in order to address “sex-related disparities in research,” part of a broader NIH effort to increase women’s representation in machine learning and genomics. The program is scheduled to continue until 2029…

Report: California Insurance Commissioner Took Overseas Trips at Taxpayer Expense

The issue arose earlier this month when Lara turned up at a conference in Bermuda with industry executives, rather than at a state legislative hearing, as thousands of homeowners are still waiting for help after the Los Angeles fires.
KGO, the San Francisco-area ABC News affiliate reported Monday:
7 On Your Side obtained and analyzed hundreds of public records that detail at least 46 cross-country and international trips all over the world — including at least 11 taxpayer-funded excursions to places like Bogota, Paris, and Toronto. But after more than a month of questioning his office, Lara’s staff has been unable to identify the business purpose for nearly all of them.
…
7 On Your Side’s Stephanie Sierra investigated hundreds of public records dating back to 2019 that detail a pattern of international trips at various luxury hotels. Our team found Lara’s been absent for at least seven other state insurance hearings since assuming office because he was either traveling abroad, cross-country, or chose not to attend.
For example, expense reports show during his first year in office in 2019, Commissioner Lara missed two insurance hearings while he was traveling to Washington, D.C. and Florida for conferences. In between those trips, he took a $6,000 trip to Paris for an “Economic Development Conference.” Taxpayers picked up that bill.
Lara responded to criticism from a Democratic congressman recently that he was tired of being “white mansplained on how to do my job.”..
L.A. Council Furious: Only 4 Building Permits, While Hagerty Paid $10 Million

L.A. Mayor Karen Bass proudly announced in February that the city had set up a “one-stop” center for residents affected by the fire to obtain permits to rebuild their homes without enduring the usual city bureaucratic processes.
However, as local ABC News affiliate KABC-7 reported, only four permits have been issued in the past six weeks.
KABC quoted Councilmember Traci Park, who represents the Pacific Palisades, as she expressed her outrage:
Councilmember Traci Park, who represents the Palisades and attended the [city council] meeting, says that’s not acceptable.
“When I hear in the community meeting like we had today that only four permits have been issued — and we’re on day 75 post-fire — that is concerning to me,” Park said. “And I don’t think it’s a lack of interest in rebuilding, I suspect it is indicative of systemic issues that we need to continue to focus on.”
Likewise, City Councilmember Monica Rodriguez questioned the $10 million the city spent on Hagerty Consultants:
“We have city departments who know how to do this recovery, who have been involved in recovery efforts in the past,” Councilmember Monica Rodriguez told ABC7. “And yet they can’t be afforded the opportunity to hire the personnel that they need, but we can give a $10 million contract to an outside agency to help write a report for us.”..
SUPRISING? AOC Refuses To Debate Mark Levin
Mark Levin slams the Department of Education as a $100B disaster— with 5,000 bureaucrats pushing CRT and DEI while kids’ scores have sunk lower and lower for the past 25 years.
Fortunately, Donald Trump has bold plans to ditch the union-driven mess. AOC doesn’t like it, but she’s more than welcome to debate Mark about it.
Trump Signs EO Requiring Proof Of Citizenship, Paper Ballots

Over four years after the 2020 election was “rigged,” President Donald Trump issued an executive order to bolster election integrity.
“Despite pioneering self-government, the United States now fails to enforce basic and necessary election protections employed by modern, developed nations, as well as those still developing,” the order states. “Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic. The right of American citizens to have their votes properly counted and tabulated, without illegal dilution, is vital to determining the rightful winner of an election.”
It’s already technically already illegal for noncitizens to register to vote (and vote) in federal elections — but the only thing standing between them and safe and secure elections is a small square box on a federal registration form that requires applicants to attest to their citizenship status under penalty of perjury. Noncitizens have managed to vote in federal elections as a result of an insecure system.
Trump’s executive order states that within 30 days of the proclamation, the “Election Assistance Commission shall take appropriate action to require … documentary proof of United States citizenship …” The order also stipulates that state and local officials must record which type of documentation is used as well as the date such documentation was issued.
Some examples of documentary proof of citizenship include a United States passport, a REAL ID that indicates citizenship, a military identification card, and a valid federal or state government-issued identification…
With Each Injunction, The Courts Become An Unelected Ruling Class

Whether it’s U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg attempting to block the Trump administration from deporting suspected illegal alien gang members to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, or U.S. District Judge Ellen Lipton Hollander blocking the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing Social Security Administration data, federal judges have repeatedly stepped in to undermine executive authority.
Opponents of the Trump administration will cite the U.S. Constitution’s “separation of powers” as justification for the judicial system’s resistance to his agenda, claiming the system crafted by the Founding Fathers is working as designed. However, this is a smokescreen for a far more sinister reality.
America increasingly lives under a Judicial Oligarchy, where the district court system that functions below the Supreme Court has assumed power far beyond its intended limited role, subverting the executive and legislative branches to impose a policy agenda dictated not by elected representatives but by unelected judges.
According to a Fox News report, nationwide injunctions against President Trump’s first administration accounted for more than half of the total injunctions ordered against the federal government since 1963.
Worse still, President Trump’s second term has shockingly endured more federal court injunctions in his first 60 days than Joe Biden did during his four years in office and Barack Obama during his entire eight-year presidency.
This obstruction is far from what the framers intended.
In a letter to William Charles Jarvis, Thomas Jefferson wrote that considering judges as the “ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions” would be “a very dangerous doctrine, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.”
Alexander Hamilton argued in Federalist No. 78 that the judiciary would be the “least dangerous” branch of government because it had “no influence over either the sword or the purse.”
Contrary to the warnings and beliefs of Hamilton and Jefferson, federal courts have proven to be a profound threat to America’s constitutional order.
A majority of the American people elected a president, but our unelected judiciary has repeatedly attempted to have the final say in how the United States is governed….
Democrats Stage Nationwide ‘Insurrection’ Featuring Upside-Down Flags

When an upside-down American flag was spotted outside the private residence of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, leftist media essentially painted him as an “insurrectionist.” But by these same standards, Democrats nationwide appear to be staging an “insurrection” of their own.
Leftists across America have adopted the inverted flag, a distress symbol, in recent days to protest the popular policies of President Donald Trump and government efficiency efforts of Elon Musk.
“Hundreds” in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles marched to a local federal building over the weekend protesting cuts to bureaucratic bloat in agencies like the Department of Veteran Affairs, according to the L.A. Times. Some protestors were photographed flying the American flag upside down during the rally.
In Boulder, Colorado, an upside-down American flag was hung from a prominent rock formation near an office for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. According to a local Fox affiliate, the NOAA “began the process of firing hundreds” of federal workers last month. The city of Boulder ultimately removed the flag.
A “group of El Pasoans” laid the inverted American flag on the side of a hill overlooking the city “in protest of Trump administration policies,” as Texas journalist Bob Moore noted on X earlier this month. According to an article by Moore in El Paso Matters, the protest was “inspired” by the one in Yosemite…
Two Mexican Nationals, One with HIV, Accused of Sexually Assaulting 14-Year-Old Boy on Miami-Bound Cruise Ship

Mexican nationals Ricardo Daniel Mondragon Leal, 37 years old, and Jose Juan Prudencio Diaz, 36 years old, were arrested by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and charged with child sex crimes after allegedly assaulting a boy on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
According to police, Leal and Diaz were in the ship’s sauna with the 14-year-old boy when the incident occurred. Diaz, who has HIV, exposed himself, began masturbating, and forced the boy to touch his genitals, police said.
Leal, police allege, exposed himself as well and forced the boy to perform oral sex on him before also performing oral sex on the boy.
When the cruise ship docked in Miami, Diaz and Leal were arrested.
Diaz was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child, lewd and lascivious molestation of a child, and sex with a victim without informing them of his HIV status. He is being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center…
