Pakistan accuses India of planning imminent attack as U.S. races to prevent nuclear crisis

WP AI generated image.

The already volatile relationship between nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan has reached a dangerous tipping point, with Islamabad claiming it possesses “credible intelligence” that New Delhi plans a military strike within 24 to 36 hours.

The accusation follows a deadly terrorist attack in India-administered Kashmir that killed 26 tourists, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has blamed on Pakistan. With both nations exchanging artillery fire and closing airspace, the U.S. has launched urgent diplomatic efforts to prevent a catastrophic escalation.

Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar took to social media to issue a chilling warning: “Pakistan has credible intelligence that India intends to launch a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours, using the Pahalgam incident as a false pretext.” He added, “Any act of aggression will be met with a decisive response. India will be fully responsible for any serious consequences in the region.”

The threat came after Modi granted India’s military “full operational freedom” to retaliate for the Kashmir attack, which New Delhi alleges was backed by Pakistan. Indian forces have since launched multiple anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir, while Modi vowed to punish “the terrorists and their backers.” Pakistan, however, denies involvement and has accused India of staging a false flag operation in a claim dismissed by Indian officials as “baseless allegations.”

Recognizing the potential for a conflict that could draw in neighboring Iran and China, Secretary of State Marco Rubio held emergency calls with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The State Department urged both nations to “de-escalate tensions, re-establish direct communications, and maintain peace.” Rubio emphasized the need for Pakistan to cooperate in investigating the Kashmir attack, calling it “unconscionable.”

Sharif, meanwhile, pushed back, asking the U.S. to pressure India to “dial down the rhetoric.” The Pakistani leader reiterated his country’s willingness to participate in a neutral probe, while India’s Jaishankar demanded justice for the “perpetrators, backers, and planners” of the attack.

The rhetoric between the two sides has been matched by military readiness. Pakistan’s army chief, Gen. Asim Munir, oversaw combat drills in Punjab, declaring, “Let there be no ambiguity: any military misadventure by India will be met with a swift, resolute, and notch-up response.” India, meanwhile, has suspended a critical water-sharing treaty with Pakistan and closed borders, while both sides report nightly cross-border shelling….

The Trump Counterrevolution and the Moral Ledger

Despite the media hysteria, Trump’s counterrevolution remains on course.

Its ultimate fate will probably rest with the state of the economy by the November 2026 midterm elections. But its success also hinges on accomplishing what is right and long overdue—and then making such reforms quietly, compassionately, and methodically.

No country can long endure without sovereignty and security—or with 10 to 12 million illegal immigrants crossing the border and half a million criminal foreign nationals roaming freely.

The prior administration found that it was easy to destroy the border and welcome the influx. But it is far harder for its successor to restore security, find those who broke the law, and insist on legal-only immigration. Trump is on the right side of all these issues and making substantial progress.

Everyone knew that a $2 trillion budget deficit, a $37 trillion national debt, and a $1.2 trillion trade deficit in goods were ultimately unsustainable.

Yet all prior politicians of the 21st century winced at the mere thought of reducing debts and deficits, given that it proved much easier just to print and spread around federal money. As long as the Trump administration dutifully cuts the budget, sends its regrets to displaced federal employees, seeks to expand private sector reemployment, and quietly presses ahead, it retains the moral high ground.

The elite universities have long hidden things from the American people that otherwise would have lost them all public support….

The economy remains strong, but its ultimate health depends on reaching a trade deal with a handful of nations that account for our $1.2 trillion trade deficit in goods: China, the EU, Canada, Mexico, the Southeast Asian trade bloc, and Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.

These nations all know that their tariffs are not symmetrical. But our trade partners will not willingly change. They apparently, but wrongly, believe that the U.S. either welcomes its trade deficits, naively thinks they’re irrelevant, or is too wedded to libertarian trade ideology to demand accountability.

So, too, on trade, the Trump administration is in the right.

Its only challenge is to avoid envisioning tariffs as a new, get-rich source of massive revenue. Data does not support the idea of such large tariff incomes.

The American people signed on for symmetry, fairness, and reciprocity in trade, not tariffing those who run deficits with us or seeing high tariffs as a cash cow to fund our out-of-control government.

Enraged Democrats still offer no substantial alternatives to the Trump agenda.

There are no shadow-government Democratic leaders with new policy initiatives. They flee from the Biden record on the border, the prior massive deficits and inflation, the disaster in Afghanistan, two theater-wide wars that broke out on Biden’s watch, and the shameless conspiracy to hide the prior president’s increasing dementia.

Instead, the Left has descended into thinly veiled threats of organized disruption in the streets. It embraces potty-mouth public profanity, profane and unhinged videos, nihilistic filibusters, congressional outbursts, and increasingly dangerous threats to the persons of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

All that frenzy is not a sign that the Trump counterrevolution is failing. It is good evidence that it is advancing forward, and its ethically bankrupt opposition has no idea how, or whether even, to stop it.

Ilhan Omar Tells Reporter to ‘F**k Off’ When Asked About Colleagues Visiting MS-13 Suspect

When a party’s platform is based on nothing but lies and feelings, you can expect its representatives to get very angry when they’re asked to back up their positions.

Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) couldn’t answer why all her Democrat colleagues are taking publicity trips to hang out with an alleged MS-13 alien deported back to El Salvador.

Instead, she cursed out the reporter who politely questioned her.

“Do you think more of your Democratic colleagues should travel to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of Kilmar Abrego Garcia?” asked Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morrell, as Omar was walking near the Capitol building.

“I think you should f*ck off,” she replied.

“I’m sorry, what, Congresswoman?” pressed the baffled reporter.

“F*ck off,” she repeated.

“Who?”

“You.”

“Why me?” asked Morell, to no response.

The nasty woman and her juvenile entourage of DEI types smugly marched away.

When social media users called her out for behaving like her base of bratty college students, the congresswoman doubled down.

“I said what I said. You and all your miserable trolls can f*ck off,” she snapped on X…

Law Enforcement Uncovers ‘Conspiracy’ to Commit Mass Shootings

Last December, a 15-year-old girl named Natalie Rupnow shot up the Abundant Life Christian School in Wisconsin—killing another student and a teacher, and wounding six others before killing herself.

When investigators searched Rupnow’s phone, they found that she was part of a network of extremist and sadistic chatrooms, and that she was communicating with many other people. One of those people was a 22-year-old Florida man, who was allegedly in a “conspiracy” with Rupnow to commit mass shootings, according to a criminal affidavit released Tuesday.

Florida police say they stopped the 22-year-old, Damien Blade Allen, just in time when they arrested him Sunday.

“There’s no doubt in my mind they have stopped a mass shooting that was going to happen,” Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told WPBF 25 News. “This guy was ready to go, had all the equipment, had the propensity to do it. It’s just a matter of what day was going to set him off to go do it.”

When the FBI searched through Allen’s social media accounts after last December’s Rupnow shooting, agents found videos of him posing as a police officer.

Apparently, the videos were so convincing that they thought he really was one at first. According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, Allen drove a Ford Crown Victoria similar to a police vehicle, he had all the equipment, and even had what looked like a Palm Beach Sheriff’s laptop.

“Based on these exchanges of posted statements between Rupnow and Allen on TikTok it is clear that Allen unequivocally makes written threats to conduct mass shootings at 7 different locations and that he is armed with at least two firearms,” the PBSO affidavit said, alleging that there was “a conspiracy between both of them to commit mass shootings.”

It turned out, Allen had a lot more than two firearms. According to WPBF 25 News, “deputies say they found 18 firearms, including what appeared to be automatic weapons, more than 300 pounds of ammunition, and … a taser, a two-way radio, and a fake body camera made with a 3D printer.”

“Detectives say Allen had more than PBSO gear — they found an FBI uniform, an Army Ranger outfit, Marine Corps dress blues, a ballistic vest, helmets, and fake federal and military ID badges,” WPBF 25 News added…

EXCLUSIVE: Biden Regime Released Convicted Sex Offenders, Hid Documents Until Trump Took Office, Lawsuit Reveals

Newly obtained documents from a lawsuit against the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) under the Biden administration reveal that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) knowingly released convicted sex offenders into the United States, requiring them to complete specific forms outlining post-release obligations.

The forms mandated that these individuals commit to registering for a “sexual deviancy counseling program within 14 days and provide ICE with written proof of such within 30 days.” Additionally, the documents required the released offenders to “register as a sex offender, if applicable, within 7 days of being released, with the appropriate agency(s) and provide ICE with written proof of such within 10 days.”

Another document, titled “Order of Supervision (Outprocessing Checklist),” includes a section specifically for sex offenders, detailing steps for agents to follow during their release. These steps include notifying probation officers, ensuring registration as a sex offender within seven days, informing victims and witnesses, and securing written proof of counseling enrollment.

The documents, which the Biden administration had previously claimed did not exist in court, were only disclosed following the transition to the Trump administration…

EXCLUSIVE: FBI Places Censorship Agent Elvis Chan on ‘Terminal Leave’

The FBI declined to comment on Chan’s status, citing its policy on personnel matters.

Chan, who identifies with “he/him” pronouns on his LinkedIn profile, still lists himself as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the FBI’s San Francisco Bay office, where he has served for over 19 years.

Chan’s leave follows a turbulent period involving a lawsuit filed by the House Judiciary Committee last year.

The committee accused Chan of obstructing its investigation into alleged social media censorship by failing to comply with a subpoena for a deposition.

The lawsuit, lodged in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., claims Chan disregarded the subpoena after the Department of Justice challenged the committee’s deposition protocols.

“Chan has violated and continues to violate his legal obligations by refusing to appear before the Judiciary Committee,” the House’s Office of General Counsel stated in the filing…

Florida legislature approves bill making silver, gold legal tender

The Florida legislature has approved a bill supported by GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, that will allow transactional gold and silver to become legal tender.

The legislation, titled H.B. 999, was passed in the House last week with only one lawmaker voting “no” and passed unanimously in the Senate on Tuesday.

H.B. 999 states that “gold coin and silver coin are legal tender” for the purpose of “payment of a debt.”

DeSantis says he’ll sign the bill into law,” according to The New American news outlet.

GOP State Rep. Doug Bankson said this legislation would make Florida the gold standard of opportunity and freedom.

Trump Admin Could Finalize Some Trade Deals Within Weeks, US Not in Talks With China: Greer

REUTERS/Kevin Mohatt/File Photo

The Trump administration expects to finalize initial tariff deals with some trading partners “within weeks,” U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said on April 30, adding that no official talks have been held with China so far.

Greer told Fox News that the administration is focused on a “targeted mission” of achieving reciprocal trade, reducing the $1.2 trillion trade deficit, increasing market access, reducing tariffs and non-tariff trade barriers, and enhancing economic security.

Having a focused approach means the administration will likely conclude the tariff deals in a much shorter time than usual, Greer said.

“I would say that we have deals that are, that are close,” Greer stated. “As the negotiator, I don’t like to negotiate in public, but I will say we’re talking about a matter of weeks and not months, to have some initial deals announced.”

Greer said the government has been in regular contact with Vietnam in recent weeks to try to hash out a deal. He will also be meeting with representatives from Japan, Guyana, and Saudi Arabia on May 1 and the Philippines on May 2, he said.

Greer said he is also working closely with officials from South Korea, whom he described as “very forward-leaning” and moving “in the right direction,” as well as the United Kingdom.

Negotiations with India are also ongoing but not yet “finish-line close” he stated…

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: HHS Releases New Report Revealing the Dangers of ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ for Minors

The Department of Health and Human Services released a report Thursday detailing the dangers of experimental transgender medical interventions euphemistically referred to as “gender-affirming care.”

The report marks a sea change from the Biden administration, which forcefully advocated for off-label use of hormones to make males appear female and vice versa, and surgical interventions to remove healthy body parts to “affirm” a person’s gender identity that is at odds with the person’s biological sex.

“HHS is committed to protecting children and restoring the federal government’s commitment to follow the gold standard of science,” HHS press secretary Vianca Rodriguez Feliciano told The Daily Signal in a statement Thursday.

“Despite growing pressure to promote harmful medical interventions for minors, this review makes one thing clear: There is extremely weak evidence that puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or surgeries have any benefits in children and adolescents with gender dysphoria,” Feliciano added (emphasis original). “At the same time, the risks—particularly permanent harm like infertility—are becoming increasingly undeniable.”

“Major medical guidelines, including those from WPATH, have been shaped more by ideology than by science,” she added, referring to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (emphasis original)…

The woman behind the ‘bloodbath’ at the DOJ: Harmeet Dhillon sets the record straight

According to the left, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon is responsible for a “bloodbath” in the Department of Justice. The ACLU has claimed her record consists of restricting voting rights, transgender rights, and abortion access.

Worse yet, the NAACP calls her a “grave threat to democracy.”

Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Podcast” couldn’t like her more, saying, “She’s the woman who will wrestle back that one piece of the DOJ from the clutches of wokeness and that has the deep state quaking in its boots.”

And considering her stance on the issues the federal government uplifted and protected under Biden, the deep state certainly should be “quaking in its boots.”

“We don’t want people in the federal government who feel like it’s their pet project to go persecute police departments based on statistical evidence, or persecute people praying outside abortion facilities instead of doing violence. That’s not the job here. The job here is to enforce the federal civil rights laws, not woke ideology,” Dhillon tells Glenn.

Dhillon’s been on the job for a little over two weeks, and she’s already put multiple pieces of her plan into play…

Reports: National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Deputy Alex Wong Out at National Security Council

Brendan SMIALOWSKI / AFP

National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and his deputy Alex Wong will be ousted Thursday from their roles at the National Security Council, according to reports.

Reports from CBS News, Fox News, and Politico state that Waltz and Wong will be leaving their posts, and that President Donald Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, is having conversations with National Security Council staff.

Waltz came under scrutiny after he put together an encrypted Signal group chat that mistakenly included the Atlantic‘s Jeffrey Goldberg, which inadvertently disclosed discussions with top Trump administration officials about plans to strike Houthi targets in Yemen.

One source familiar with the situation told CBS News that the president believes that enough time has passed since the controversy that Waltz and Wong’s departure can be framed as part of a reorganization and that he initially resisted efforts to remove his national security adviser to avoid the appearance of bowing to outside pressure…

Judge Orders Suspect Behind Firebombing of Missouri Tesla Released from Federal Custody

DOJ

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jessica Hedges agreed that Owen McIntire, 19, a student at the University of Massachusetts Boston, should be released after McIntire’s lawyers “argued” he be released, noting that “he has no criminal record” and that he has “strong ties to his community in Missouri,” according to KMBC News.

McIntire’s lawyers also argued that he be released, noting his “medical and mental health needs.”

McIntire has reportedly “been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder,” Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, and gender dysphoria, according to court records.

Breitbart News’s Amy Furr reported that McIntire had been accused of firebombing the Kansas City Tesla dealership with Molotov cocktails and that he is facing federal charges, which include “a single count of unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device, and one count of malicious damage by fire of any property used in interstate commerce.”…
