Whistleblower Documents Implicate NARA In Second Get-Trump Criminal Case

Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, have launched an inquiry into the National Archives and Records Administration (“NARA”) after documents provided by a whistleblower revealed the archives’ role in the criminal targeting of Trump in the alternative electors case.
This recent revelation means NARA stood at ground-zero for both of the special counsel’s criminal cases, with NARA also behind the classified document investigation.
On Monday, Johnson and Grassley issued a press release announcing the opening of an inquiry into NARA and its inspector general, to probe the propriety of their involvement in the classified document and alternative electors criminal investigations of Donald Trump.
The press release also noted Johnson, the Chair of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and Grassley, the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, were seeking “all NARA records, including the NARA Office of Inspector General, referring, or relating to the Arctic Frost and the classified document investigation.”
The FBI officially opened an investigation into the naming of alternative electors by various battleground state Republicans on April 13, 2022, dubbing the probe Arctic Frost.
Since January 2025, Grassley and Johnson have been releasing various whistleblower records revealing coordination between the DOJ, FBI, and Biden White House to charge the former president in the trumped-up alternative electors case.
The Republican senators also exposed the role the anti-Trump former FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault played in prompting the launch of the criminal investigation. But Monday’s press release now suggests a new character in the get-Trump scheme: NARA.
While the press release made scant mention of the reason underlying the chairs’ decision to open an inquiry into both NARA and its inspector general, the senators’ announcement included links to five previous oversight statements and related documents….
NARA’s referral of Trump to the DOJ contrasts to the approach the agency took when Hillary Clinton violated the “Federal Records Act.” Then, in response to questions asked by Sen. Grassley about the former secretary of state’s use of a non-governmental email account, archivist David Ferriero stated, “NARA has not Initiated an ‘Investigation’ of Secretary Clinton’s email practices; rather, as noted above, we have been communicating with the State Department on this matter, and are deferring to the State Department’s review (and any other agencies conducting Investigations).”
Ferriero, who has since retired from NARA, has a documented anti-Trump bias, which may well explain NARA’s referral of Trump to the DOJ and the agency’s non-investigation of Hillary Clinton…
Whether Ferriero also pushed the NARA inspector general to launch an investigation into the alternative electors is currently unknown, but the documents requested by Johnson and Grassley should provide the necessary transparency to understand which players at NARA were involved in double-barreled weaponization of the criminal justice system.
Newark Mayor Arrested For Criminal Trespass After Storming ICE Detention Facility (VIDEO)

The Mayor of Newark was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday after storming an ICE detention facility.
Mayor Ras Baraka joined members of Congress to inspect the Delaney Hall detention facility in New Jersey when all hell broke loose.
In February, ICE announced it was expanding detention capacity with the Delaney Hall facility.
An altercation broke out at Delaney Hall and Mayor Baraka was cuffed and led away by law enforcement.
According to News12NJ, Baraka was shouting at agents after he gained entry through the gate.
Interim US Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba said Mayor Baraka was taken into custody after he ignored multiple warnings from DHS agents.
“The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this state. He has been taken into custody. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW,” Alina Habba said.
Founder of Crypto Platform Celsius Sentenced to 12 Years in Jail for Fraud

Alexander Mashinsky, 59, of New York, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl on May 8 after pleading guilty in December 2024 to commodities fraud and securities fraud.
His sentence includes three years of supervised release and a $50,000 fine. Mashinsky was also ordered to forfeit $48.39 million, according to the DOJ’s statement.
Prosecutors stated that Mashinsky had misled customers about Celsius’s proprietary crypto token CEL and artificially inflated its value by buying it on the open market.
This manipulation allowed him to profit about $48 million from his own sales of CEL.
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton said that Mashinsky targeted retail investors with promises that their investments were safe on Celsius, while in reality, he used those funds for risky bets.
Mashinsky made tens of millions selling his own CEL tokens “while his customers lost billions,” Clayton added…
‘Hostile’ mob swarms ICE agents making arrest in blue state — then female with baby blocks federal vehicle

Worcester Police Department stated that its officers arrived on the scene around 11:13 a.m. after receiving a call that “a federal agent” was “surrounded by a large group of about twenty-five people.”
Local officers described the scene as “chaotic,” noting that “several federal agents from various agencies” were attempting to arrest a female.
ICE agents placed the female in a vehicle and tried to leave the scene, but the mob thwarted their efforts, according to police.
“The crowd was unruly, and several people were putting their hands on federal agents and Worcester officers in an attempt to keep the vehicle and the arrestee from leaving,” the local department stated.
One protester, described as a “juvenile female,” stood in front of ICE’s vehicle with “a newborn baby in her arms.”
“Officers told her that she was endangering the child and that she needed to move. Eventually she complied and gave the newborn to someone else,” the police said. “The infant was not injured.”
The female was ultimately placed under arrest after she “ran after the vehicle and kicked the passenger’s side of it.”
The female was charged with reckless endangerment of a child, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
A 38-year-old woman was also arrested amid the neighborhood melee after police accused her of pushing multiple officers as they attempted to detain the juvenile female. She also allegedly “threw an unknown liquid substance” at law enforcement. The woman was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a police officer.
The Boston Herald reported that the woman is a school committee candidate…
119 Amtrak workers loot $12M in record-breaking fraud heist — many keep taxpayer-funded gig: Report

According to the OIG, at least 119 Amtrak employees participated in “a widespread scheme,” conspiring with New York health care providers to defraud the company’s health care plan out of over $12 million.
The investigation stated that the fraud occurred between 2019 and 2022 and involved 28 now retired or resigned workers. Another 30 employees departed from Amtrak for “other reasons.”
However, the majority of the 119 alleged crooked workers are reportedly still with Amtrak, a company that has never turned a profit since its creation in 1971 and leans on taxpayer funds to cover its losses.
The office said, “The OIG’s findings on 61 remaining active employees were given to Amtrak for consideration of appropriate administrative disciplinary action.”
“A dozen employees have been criminally charged in the case, and seven have pleaded guilty, pending sentencing,” the OIG stated.
Amtrak Inspector General Kevin Winters noted that he hopes the investigation will serve as a deterrent for other employees and health care providers.
“The sheer volume of employees who cavalierly participated in this scheme to steal Amtrak’s funds suggests not only a serious lapse in basic ethics, but a troubling workforce culture, at least in the Northeast region, in which blatant criminal behavior was somehow normalized,” Winters remarked….

Hegseth orders deadline for trans service members to leave military: ‘Out at the DOD’

Transgender troops have between 30 and 60 days to self-separate from the military after a court order allowed the ban on their service to move forward, according to a Thursday memo from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
“After a SCOTUS victory for @POTUS, TRANS is out at the DOD,” Hegseth wrote on X, along with a video announcing the new deadline.
Approximately 1,000 service members have self–identified as having gender dysphoria and will begin the voluntary separation process, according to the Pentagon.
Active duty service members have until June 6, one month after the court’s ruling, to leave the military. Reservists have until July 7.
“The Secretary is encouraged by the Supreme Court’s order staying the lower court’s injunction, allowing the Department of Defense to carry out its policies associated with ‘Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness,’” Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement celebrating the ruling and announcing the new timeline.
“In accordance with policy now reinstated, service members who have a current diagnosis or history of or exhibit symptoms consistent with gender dysphoria may elect to separate voluntarily,” Hegseth said, adding that if they chose not to do so by the deadline, they would be removed “involuntarily, if necessary.”
Trump to build national center for homeless veterans with funds previously spent on housing for illegal aliens

President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order to establish a national center for homeless veterans with redirected funds previously spent on services for illegal aliens, Fox News Digital has learned.
The president’s order directs the secretary of veterans affairs to establish the National Center for Warrior Independence on the Veterans Affairs campus in West Los Angeles.
Los Angeles has approximately 3,000 homeless veterans — more than any other city in the country, and accounting for about 10% of all homeless veterans in America, according to the White House.
“The new National Center for Warrior Independence will help them and other veterans like them rebuild their lives,” the White House said.
The center will allow veterans from around the nation to seek and receive care, benefits and services “to which they are entitled,” the White House said.
The order redirects funds previously spent on housing or other services for illegal aliens to constructing, establishing and maintaining the new center.
“The Center will promote self-sufficiency through housing, substance abuse treatment, and support for productive work for the veterans housed there,” the White House explained.
It said the goal is to house up to 6,000 homeless veterans at the center by 2028.
The order also directs the secretary of housing and urban development to use vouchers to support homeless veterans and instructs the secretary of veterans affairs to “restore accountability at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).”
The order also instructs the VA to take action against individuals who have committed misconduct and to investigate and rectify the Biden administration’s decision to “rehire and reinstate back pay for employees previously fired for misconduct.”…

Denmark to spend €830 million on Ukrainian defense on behalf of EU

Denmark will allocate €830 million ($935 million) to the Ukrainian defense industry in 2025 on behalf of the European Union, using windfall profits from frozen Russian assets to buy Ukraine-made weapons.
The Danish Ministry of Defence and the European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, signed an agreement giving Denmark the role as implementing actor for the disbursement of a large portion of the windfall profits this year, the ministry said in a statement on Friday.
The Danes have been frontrunners in investing Western military aid in Ukraine’s defense manufacturing, using funds to buy locally produced weapons rather than foreign equipment through what is known as the Danish model.
“Denmark has taken the lead in the international efforts to strengthen defense production in Ukraine,” Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen said. “It is a recognition of Denmark’s efforts on this matter that the EU has decided to channel even more funds through us this year.”
The windfall profits this year will be used for donations of supplies including ammunition, air defense and military equipment produced in the Ukrainian defense industry, the Ministry of Defence said….
