Trump promises he’ll ‘take care’ of the border as he lands at ‘Ground Zero’ in Eagle Pass:

Donald Trump said the U.S. is at ‘war’ at the border because of ‘Joe Biden’s invasion’ and claimed military-aged men who look like ‘warriors’ are streaming across the Rio Grande from ‘jails in the Congo’ in a fiery speech in Texas on Thursday.

The former president was shown concertina wires along the river by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and spoke to border guards who have been dealing with the surge in crossers – while Biden visited another border site 324 miles away.

Trump also revealed he had spoken to the parents of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old student jogger murdered in Georgia. An illegal immigrant has been charged with killing her. Trump said her mother and father will ‘never be the same’ and that Biden will ‘never say her name’.

Dem Megadonor Tries To Bully NPR Reporter Who Exposed His Shady Shell Companies

Salesforce CEO and Democratic megadonor Marc Benioff dug up “personal details” about the family of a journalist who exposed his use of anonymous shell companies to buy swaths of land in rural Hawaii, according to a report.

Benioff, the billionaire founder of Salesforce and owner of Time magazine, has used at least six “anonymous” LLCs to purchase nearly 40 parcels of land in the small Hawaiian town of Waimea, according to a Wednesday NPR report. When reporter Dara Kerr questioned Benioff about those purchases, he became agitated, going as far as to raise “personal details” about Kerr’s family.

The exchange reflects a pattern of behavior from Benioff, who has spoken at panels alongside former House speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) and contributed nearly $1.3 million to Democratic candidates and causes since 2011, according to federal campaign finance disclosures.

High School Substitute Teacher Assaulted, Assailant Student Let Free

A 75-year-old substitute teacher at an Indianapolis high school was recently assaulted by a student. However, the student was never arrested and merely received a “slap on the wrist,” if that.

The 75-year-old told reporters that he had informed the school of his desire to press charges against the young assailant.

“Anything like this ever happened before? No. No,” Gooding said.

According to Gooding, he was in the middle of teaching a lesson related to business practices when the student began attacking and beating him.

“I saw him come up, and he said, ‘I’ve had it,’ and he came down and I blocked the Chromebook. That’s where the hole was. And it shoved me down like this and then all of a sudden he hovered over me and with his left hand whammed me,” Gooding said.

Kamala Harris lets slip an inconvenient truth about ‘woke’

DEI practices have been put in place throughout U.S. government agencies, schools and universities, and in many cases forced upon corporations, if the CEOs didn’t already eagerly implement it themselves.

What’s sold to the public as a means of fairness and inclusion is often used as a way to divide and control, critics say, and the evidence of that can be seen nearly everywhere.

But as bigotry and plagiarism begin to show in Ivy League universities and mechanical breakdowns and frightening mishaps appear to be on the rise in airline industries that have embraced ‘DEI’, Kamala Harris is worried the regressive societal manipulation mechanism might go the way of ‘woke.’

“We are proudly talking about equity,” Harris said in defense of the left’s cushy buzzword. “Even though these people, on the, uh, you know, so-called leaders want to shut down DEI.”

“They’re trying to do to DEI… what they sadly, successfully did with woke!” she continued in the short clip making the rounds.

Missouri Attorney General Launches Lawsuit Against Planned Parenthood For Trafficking Minors – ‘This Is The Beginning Of The End For Planned Parenthood’

On Thursday, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey (R-MO) announced an explosive new effort to hold Planned Parenthood accountable for several clear violations of law and decorum, including allegedly transporting minors across state lines without the consent of their parents.

This comes after several states have taken decisive action to secure the unborn’s right to life, as the radical left pushes forth a radical pro-abortion agenda, even up to the point of birth.

We, the people, understand that the right to life is something fundamental, over and above the whims of a pro-abortion federal government that fails to value the dignity of its people.

ICE says detainers against Jose Ibarra’s brother were ‘not honored’

(Clarke County Sheriff’s Office via NewsNation)

The brother of Jose Ibarra, the man accused of killing Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, was arrested several times last year by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to NewsNation Thursday.

ICE detainers against Diego Ibarra, 29, were not honored by Athens-Clarke County, ICE spokesperson Lindsay Williams said in a statement.

Diego Ibarra encountered U.S. border agents in April of last year near El Paso, Texas, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. After being processed for expedited removal he claimed a “credible fear of return to Venezuela,” and was released with a pending claim for asylum.

Since entering the United States, investigators say Diego Ibarra has been arrested three times by Athens, Georgia, law enforcement. His charges included driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.

House passes short-term funding measure to keep government open

 AP Photo

The Continuing Resolution passed the House with a vote 320-99, sending it to the Senate for consideration, where it is expected to pass and then be signed by Biden.

Notably, the funding measure only pushes back the two staggered partial shutdown deadlines to March 8 and March 22 of this year. That means lawmakers still only have days to agree on a larger funding deal to keep the government open.

While the holdout Republicans were not able to stop the short-term funding measure, it could signal hardship ahead in future negotiations. Many Republicans have concerns about the national debt, which is well over $34 trillion and growing, as well as supplemental foreign aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. He received 34 stitches and was eventually cleared to go home.

TWU Local 100 Union President Richard Davis voiced frustration over the ongoing criminal activity that has hurt a multitude of people in the area, saying that the workers need better protection before something even worse happens to one of them:

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: statistics mean nothing until the violence stops,” he continued:

Newsom sparks outrage over minimum wage exemption benefiting donor, critics demand probe: ‘Crooked deal’

(Getty Images / Getty Images)

Newsom reportedly pushed for an exemption that allows restaurants baking and selling bread as a standalone item to continue paying its employees the current rate of $16 an hour.

The peculiar carve-out means billionaire Greg Flynn, a longtime Newsom donor, could save hundreds of thousands of dollars at his two dozen Panera Bread franchise locations across California, Bloomberg first reported Wednesday.

Bloomberg’s report noted that Flynn was previously involved in business dealings with Newsom.

It also noted his opposition to the law that initially included the new regulations, known as the FAST Act, which led him to lobby Newsom’s office to exclude Panera Bread as a fast food chain, sources told the publication.

New York appeals court strikes down law allowing non-citizens to vote

The 3-1 ruling by the Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department sided with Republicans who challenged the law, arguing that a clause in the state Constitution that “every citizen shall be entitled to vote” refers only to U.S. citizens.

The law pushed through the Democratic-controlled Legislature last year “must be declared null and void,” the appeals panel wrote in the 43-page decision.

“As there is no reference to noncitizens, and thus, an irrefutable inference applies that noncitizens were intended to be excluded from those individuals entitled to vote in elections,” the court said.

Kathy Hochul Moves Forward with Plan to Prioritize Illegal Immigrants for NY State Jobs

At the end of January, Hochul approved a plan for the state to hire 4,000 illegal aliens for entry-level state jobs.

Not only is the state preparing to put illegals at the head of the line, but the plan Hochul approved eliminates several requirements for illegals to be eligible for the jobs.

The rules requiring applicants to take the civil service exam and to have a high school diploma have been eliminated.

The aim is to get illegals into state jobs faster once they get approved work permits.

9 times sanctuary policies and a lax approach to illegal immigration endangered American lives

Sanctuary policies as they are presently understood were once limited to handful of California municipalities. In the decades since Berkeley and other leftist enclaves began signaling their extra-national goodwill, various cities, counties, and entire states across the country have taken it upon themselves to actively flout American law in the interest of aiding and abetting those foreign nationals who have stolen into the U.S.

For instance, a July 2023 report approved by the Los Angeles Police Commission revealed that the LAPD received 783 immigration detainer requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2022 and refused to honor a single one. ICE did not immediately respond to Blaze News’ inquiry about how many detainers were declined nationally last year.

The prioritization of foreign nationals often comes at a price — a price paid both by American citizens and by those migrants who have entered the nation lawfully.

Some migrants say there’s no need for smugglers to get into US

Damian Hernandez, of Guatemala, said he heard others were paying up to $700 for help from smugglers to get over the barrier, and that’s why he chose to venture off on his own to the hills east of Tijuana.

“I found a spot along the metal wall and climbed over it,” Hernandez said in Spanish. “I didn’t need a smuggler.”

The Guatemalan national said after getting onto U.S. soil, he walked for an hour or so until he found Border Patrol agents who took him into custody.

“It wasn’t that hard,” he said.

Hernandez told Border Report he is on his way to New York City to start a new life.
