They’re hiding something: All of Europe was ‘seconds’ away from total blackout…

The recent massive blackout across Spain, Portugal, France, and Belgium has sparked new debates about the state of Europe’s energy infrastructure, especially as these countries have moved toward renewable energy.
Spain is one of Europe’s leaders in renewable energy, with over 75% of its electricity coming from renewable sources at the time of the outage.
Net Zero isn’t reality, but that’s exactly what Spain is pushing.
Hopefully they learned that not having proper energy storage or backup from gas and nuclear made the grid vulnerable to those sudden drops. Because if they didn’t learn that simple fact, it’ll happen again.
In the meantime, there’s something they’re hiding. And if this blackout does turn out to be the big green mess many predict, it makes sense why they’re burying this new information. They want to avoid triggering major panic across Europe.
According to journalist Michael Shellenberger, the entire continent of Europe was just seconds away from a full-blown blackout.
In this informative X thread, Michael breaks down just how close Europe came to going completely dark…

California Democrats Block Bill to Make Sex Trafficking of Minors a Felony — Again

California Democrats in the State Assembly are once again blocking a bill that would make the sex trafficking of minors a felony — this time for victims age 16 and 17 — preferring instead to give prosecutors discretion.
Notably, some of those prosecutors would be George Soros-backed prosecutors who have avoided enforcing the law in the name of “criminal justice reform,” and whom voters have begun to oust across the state.
The blocking effort is the latest chapter in a saga that began in 2023. As Breitbart News reported at the time, Republican State Senator Shannon Grove (R-Bakersfield) had introduced a bill to make sex trafficking of minors a “serious felony.”
It passed unanimously in the State Senate, but Democrats on the State Assembly’s Public Safety Committee blocked the bill, since they did not want to increase criminal penalties generally.
Faced with public embarrassment, Democrats struck a deal in 2024 with Grove, under which the bill would advance but only if it was limited to victims under the age of 16.
Now, a Democrat, State Assemblymember Maggy Krell (D-Sacramento), is trying to make trafficking minors aged 16 and 17 a felony, too — and fellow Democrats are refusing to allow the bill to advance….
WATCH: CBP Rams Boat Carrying Illegal Aliens near California Coast

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations agents interdicted an attempted human smuggling incident off the coast of California, according to Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks. A video posted on X shows the agents ramming the alleged smuggler’s boat in an attempt to stop them.
Chief Banks said they received information from the Mexican Navy about a vessel that refused to stop for them and the U.S. Coast Guard a few days earlier. AMO agents attempted to stop the boat near the San Diego coastline, but the driver refused to heave, Banks stated in a post on social media.
“Even in the open ocean, the border has a line- and we will defend it,” Banks stated.
The AMO agents “disabled the vessel” and took two alleged human smugglers into custody. They two are facing charges of failure to heave (18USC2237) and inadmissible alien (8USC1182).
A few days earlier, Banks reported the arrest of 19 illegal aliens, including three alleged human smugglers. Border Patrol and the U.S. Coast Guard teamed up to interdict a smuggling vessel off the coast of Oceanside, California. Banks said the smugglers face federal alien smuggling charges (8USC1324). Others on the boat were charged with felony illegal re-entry (8USC1326).
U.S. Private-Sector Job Openings Rise as Government Hiring Slows

The number of private-sector job openings increased in March, helping to offset a broader decline in total openings driven by reductions in government hiring.
Employers posted 7.19 million vacancies on the last business day of the month, down slightly from a revised 7.48 million in February.
Openings remain above pre-pandemic levels, highlighting sustained employer demand for workers even amid broader economic policy shifts.
The data indicate that demand for workers remains solid as employers continue to expand payrolls and seek new hires despite global economic uncertainties and trade anxiety-driven stock market volatility.
The Trump administration’s efforts to reshape trade relationships through tariffs and to streamline the federal workforce appear so far to be advancing without disrupting private-sector hiring, which remains steady across most industries.
Hiring held steady at 5.4 million, and layoffs and discharges fell to 1.6 million, the lowest level since June 2024. Private-sector layoffs declined across nearly every major industry, including retail trade, manufacturing, financial activities, and transportation and warehousing, reinforcing employer confidence in future business conditions.
In manufacturing — a sector closely watched for signs of pressure from recent trade policies — job openings increased slightly to 449,000. Hiring in manufacturing remained steady at 319,000 for the month, and layoffs declined, with durable goods industries seeing particular improvement. These results suggest that demand for factory workers remains stable despite broader fears about tariffs or slowing growth….
