After Voter Finds Fraudulent Ballot Cast In His Name, New York Tells Him It Will Count Anyway
Miner told The Federalist that he decided to vote early, just one day after early voting began on Saturday.
“I went up to the table and was told I already voted,” Miner said. “I ask, ‘Where did I vote?’ Because, of course, this is very surprising to me. And they told me I voted in the town of Fishkill [which is located next to Wappingers], 22 minutes after early voting began on Saturday.”
Miner was given an affidavit ballot, which is a provisional ballot that is secured inside an affidavit envelope.
A bipartisan team at the Dutchess County Board of Elections investigated the situation and determined that since the signature provided Saturday did not match Miner’s actual signature, Miner’s affidavit ballot will count — but so will the fraudulent vote cast Saturday in Miner’s name.
That’s because once a ballot is cast, the vote itself becomes anonymous, making it impossible to identify the fraudulent vote and remove it from the bunch.
“We want to assure the public that our elections are secure, that it’s possible this was an honest mistake — but if not we are going to investigate it — and that we encourage everyone who is eligible to vote to vote and know their vote will count,” Haight said.
But Miner says it’s “ridiculous” that a system — which is supposedly “secure,” according to Haight — doesn’t require ID to vote, which could have prevented the fraudulent vote from being cast….
Dominion Voting Machines NATIONWIDE Are Experiencing ‘Programming Issues.’
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is warning voters that a Dominion voting machine model in use in many of the state’s counties is erroneously preventing voters from casting split-ticket ballots.
According to Benson, the error is impacting specifically the Dominion ICX Voter Assist Terminal (VAT) system, which is offered to individuals with disabilities and assists with marking their ballots.
According to Benson, the Dominion machine has an issue processing certain types of ballots—namely those where a voter wishes to vote for a mix of Republican and Democratic Party candidates instead of a straight party line.
The Michigan Secretary of State claims the problem with the VAT machine isn’t unique to Michigan, and ballot marking errors have been reported by election officials nationwide.
Michigan election officials say that voters using Dominion-made VAT machines must either cast a straight-party line ballot or manually split their ballot by voting on each candidate individually. Typically, Michigan voters can select a partisan ballot choice and then override the party selection for specific races.
The Michigan Department of State says Dominion cannot fix the error in time for the 2024 election, so manual voting will be necessary for any disabled voter using a VAT machine. For her part, Benson expressed disappointment in Dominion over the issue, adding that she and others were unhappy to learn about the problem only when testing began…

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed Wednesday that he asked the United States for Tomahawk long-range missiles to help defeat Russia — and slammed the White House for leaking secrets to the American media.
The Tomahawks can fly up to 1,500 kilometers and would allow Ukraine to strike targets deep inside Russia if permitted by the U.S., which is a key part of Kyiv’s so-called Victory Plan for beating back Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy, though, was displeased with information about the Tomahawk request being divulged to The New York Times for a story in which an anonymous senior U.S. official described the Ukrainian request as totally unfeasible.
“And this was confidential information between Ukraine and the White House. How should we understand these messages? So, it means between partners there’s nothing confidential?” Zelenskyy said during an interview with Nordic media outlets published Wednesday.
In the story, The New York Times noted senior U.S. officials did not think Ukrainian leadership had made a convincing case for how they would use the long-range missiles to turn the tide on the battlefield.
The target list that Ukraine presented the U.S. with far exceeded the number of missiles the American military can spare for Kyiv without jeopardizing potential requirements for the Middle East and Asia, the anonymous officials added in the story.
Senior Kyiv officials beyond Zelenskyy were also puzzled by the information leaking in a negative light….

The Harris campaign cut multiple six-figure checks last month for left-leaning groups that have been vocal about defunding the police, reparations, and are tied to radical activists who have supported notorious antisemite Louis Farrakhan.
The Harris campaign gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to a handful of Black advocacy groups who are mobilizing Black voters ahead of November’s election next week, according to FEC filings released last week.
Black Voters Matters Fund, which received $150,000 from the Harris campaign on Sept. 19, has repeatedly called for defunding the police and has been vocal about pushing for reparations.
“The answer to police violence against communities of color is not more money for police,” the group wrote in February 2023. “It’s time to defund the police and redirect those resources into building strong, healthy communities.”

Arizona: Son kept father’s decomposing body in freezer for four years to keep family home, police say
In a shocking revelation from Tempe, Arizona, authorities have uncovered a disturbing case where a man allegedly preserved his deceased father’s body in a freezer for four years, reportedly to maintain possession of their family home. .
The suspect, Joseph Hill, 51, was arrested last week on multiple charges, including concealment of a dead body and failure to report a death.
“Detectives removed layers of tarp, blankets, saran wrap, and duct tape to find human skeletal remains in the freezer, as well as an ‘extensive amount of biological matter,’” according to court documents obtained by CNN.

Supreme Court And 2024 Election: Justices Allow Virginia To Purge 1,600 People From Voter Rolls
The Supreme Court gave Virginia the green light Wednesday to purge 1,600 people from its voter rolls ahead of Election Day, reversing a lower court that blocked the plan—the first in anticipated slew of decisions on voting rules the court is likely to make as Election Day nears.
Justices sided with the state Wednesday in a 6-3 decision, throwing out the lower court ruling and allowing Virginia to move forward with the voter purge—not offering any explanation for the decision and only noting that liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson would have denied Virginia’s request.
The Justice Department had argued removing the voters is unlawful because it was done too close to Election Day, as federal law bars states from removing voters from voter rolls less than 90 days before an election, and lower federal district and appeals courts sided with the federal government, ordering Virginia to restore voters to the voter rolls.
The Republican National Committee also asked the Supreme Court Monday to block a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling allowing voters to cast provisional ballots if their mail-in ballots have errors, like lacking a signature or date on the envelope.
That means if the Supreme Court sides with the RNC, those Pennsylvania voters will not be able to vote at all—which could affect thousands of ballots and make a difference in the battleground state, where former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are running neck-and-neck.
The cases are the first in an anticipated slew of last-minute cases over state voting rules expected to make it to the Supreme Court before Election Day….

During an interview with Nicholas’s father Doug Quets and his brother-in-law Philip Sweet, they told Breitbart News of Nicholas’s love of God, family, country, and service — principles deeply rooted in this all-American family from Tuscon, Arizona.
On Friday, Oct. 18, Nicholas departed from Pima County and drove to Nogales, Arizona, to pick up a few friends for a beach trip to Rocky Point Beach — a popular destination for Nicholas and other American tourists.
Rocky Point, for those unfamiliar, is known as “Arizona’s Beach” because of its proximity to the Grand Canyon State. Doug and Philip told Breitbart News that Nicholas was very familiar with Rocky Point and the area because he was an adventurous outdoorsman who loved the water and hiking trails.
Unbeknownst to the Quets family — likely along with most Americans — Nicholas used a highway that had recently experienced Mexican drug cartel violence with little-to-no national news coverage by the American media.
Two months before Nicholas’s trip to Rocky Point, two female U.S. residents — a 72- and 82-year-old — were murdered while driving the Caborca highway.
About halfway on his drive to Rocky Point, Nicholas was stopped at a roadblock along the highway. Mexican drug cartel gunmen opened fire on Nicholas, shooting him in the back and through his heart. He died at the scene.
Two arrests have been made since then. Nicholas’s murder was not a robbery gone wrong. The cash he was carrying was left behind and nothing was taken off his person, but the cartel gunmen did steal his truck.
In the middle of the night, Doug says the U.S. Consulate in Mexico called him to tell him Nicholas had been murdered. Likewise, federal agents with the State Department made contact with the Quets family.
Days later, by Monday morning, Doug and Philip say they expected to be contacted by a range of local and national media as well as Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) and their Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ).
Instead, they heard nothing….
