Mosquitoes inject human test subjects with parasite in study at Bill Gates-linked center

Researchers at the Bill Gates Foundation-backed Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands have joined an international effort to transform mosquitoes into flying syringes.

According to a study published late last month in the New England Journal of Medicine, they apparently now have an effective way of using mosquitoes to deliver some protection against malaria in unsuspecting humans — and possibly other payloads in the future as well.

Scientists have long toyed with the idea of transforming mosquitoes into “flying vaccinator[s].”

Shigeto Yoshida, the lead researcher on a 2010 study that modified mosquitoes’ saliva such that they would deliver leishmania vaccines to mice when sucking their blood, noted that vaccination by insect was “just like a conventional vaccination but with no pain and no cost.”

“What’s more, continuous exposure to bites will maintain high levels of protective immunity, through natural boosting, for a lifetime. So the insect shifts from being a pest to being beneficial,” added Yoshida.

Despite the Japanese geneticist’s optimism, his study acknowledged that “medical safety issues and concerns about informed consent mitigate the use of the ‘flying vaccinator’ as a method to deliver vaccines.”

Robert Sinden, professor emeritus of parasite cell biology at Imperial College London, told Science at the time that in addition to vaccinating people without their informed consent, no regulatory agency would sign off on the initiative….

Walmart delivery driver caught masturbating in woman’s driveway after dropping off groceries: Lawsuit

According to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office’s arrest records, 39-year-old Alvin Bryan Ortiz was arrested and booked at 12:42 p.m. July 9. Ortiz was charged with indecent exposure. He was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center the next day on a $2,500 bond.

A lawsuit was filed in Horry County Common Pleas Court on Dec. 19 against Ortiz, Walmart Inc., doing business as Spark Delivery, and Wal-Mart Stores East, NewsNation reported.

The plaintiff — identified as “Jane Doe” — alleged that Ortiz masturbated in a vehicle parked in her driveway after delivering groceries at her home.

The lawsuit claims Ortiz dropped off a delivery order at the woman’s front door just after 9 a.m. July 8.

Ortiz walked back to his car in her driveway and remained in his vehicle for 10 to 15 minutes, according to the lawsuit. The woman allegedly went to check on why the man was still at her residence, and Jane Doe said that she found the man with his pants pulled down and that he was pleasuring himself.

Doe reportedly rushed back inside her home and took her young children to a hiding spot in the house. The lawsuit states that the woman contacted a neighbor regarding the situation…

Suicides in Military Continue to Rise, the Mental Health Fight Is Far from Over

According to the Department of Defense’s Annual Report on Suicide in the military, which outlines suicide trends among service members and their families, 523 service members died by suicide in 2023. This harrowing statistic marks the highest number of deaths since 2020.

The report, released Nov. 14, recorded a striking 1,373 men and women actively serving in the armed forces who attempted suicide in 2023.

Since 2005, veteran suicide rates have risen by a startling 50%, and a baffling 150% for veterans of post-9/11 wars, a trend Robert Greenway, director of the Allison Center for National Security at the Heritage Foundation and combat veteran of the Army Special Forces deemed an “unprecedented crisis in the force” in a Congressional testimony before the House Armed Services Committee.

The Department of Veterans Affairs also recently released its most recent Suicide Prevention Annual Report, disclosing that the average number of veteran suicides per day had increased from 16.4 in 2001 to 17.5 in 2021. Although the Defense Department started tracking the data a little over a decade ago, these numbers support a steady and rising trend in military-related suicides over the past two decades.

Unfortunately, self-inflicted deaths are just one piece of a larger mental health crisis.

The VA estimates that 41% of veterans require some level of mental health care, yet of the 18.1 million veterans in the U.S., only 11% of them obtained VA mental health services.

The mental health crisis has been intensified as service members who deployed during the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars transition out of the military, with many lacking adequate mental health resources to guide the transition to civilian life.

An estimated 30,000 War on Terror veterans have tragically died by suicide, a staggering statistic totaling over four times the number of deaths by war violence in post-9/11 conflicts.

When asked about coping with civilian life after deploying twice in active combat roles, Shane Hudson, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, explained, “The misnomer is that people think it is simple to just overcome or move on …  I don’t fully believe that you ever overcome. You just learn to manage …  Some days are very good; some days are not so good.”..

Son of US senator jailed for 28 years over chase and crash that killed police officer

Ian Cramer, 43, pleaded guilty in September to all of the charges against him, including homicide while fleeing a peace officer, preventing arrest, reckless endangerment, fleeing an officer and drug- and driving-related offenses. Those charges related to the chase and crash in December last year that killed the Mercer county sheriff’s deputy, Paul Martin, 53.

The state court judge Bobbi Weiler handed down the sentence of 38 years with 10 years suspended, three years of probation and credit for more than a year served in jail. She also included recommended treatment for addiction and mental health. But he likely will not serve the full 28 years, the judge said.

“The [state] department of corrections has their own policy on how much time you’re going to serve,” Weiler said. “These are not mandatory minimums, which means that you’re probably going to serve a small portion of that 28 years and be out on parole, so that’ll … give you an opportunity to have a second chance that deputy Martin does not have, nor does his family have.”

Ian Cramer, who wore orange and sat quietly next to his public defender, apologized to Martin’s family when asked if he would like to speak.

He added: “I had no intention to do any of this. It was an accident, and I just hope that someday they can forgive me, and I think the best thing for me is to go to a hospital and just get more help.”

Much of the sentencing focused on Cramer’s addiction and mental health. His mother, Kris Cramer, read a statement in which she said her son “has hurt his brain a lot on his own” and is dealing with a mental illness. She apologized and said: “I really do feel responsible for what happened on December 6 [2023].”

Bismarck police said Ian Cramer’s mother had taken him to a hospital because of mental health concerns.

Court documents say he crawled into the driver seat of his parents’ vehicle after his mother got out and smashed in reverse through the closed garage door of the hospital’s ambulance bay. He later fled from deputies when one confronted him in Hazen, about 70 miles (113km) from Bismarck, authorities said….

Rep. Victoria Spartz demands ‘assurances’ Speaker Johnson ‘won’t sell us out to the swamp’

As House Speaker Mike Johnson seeks to retain his grip on the gavel, Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Ind., is demanding “assurances” that Johnson “won’t sell us out to the swamp.”

“President Trump will be able to save America only if we have a speaker with courage, vision and a plan – also public commitment to the American people how he will help deliver President Trump’s agenda to drain the swamp,” she added in another tweet.

Spartz had previously issued a statement on Monday in which she called out Congress’s profligate spending and demanded a plan to accomplish President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda, something which she said she has not seen from current House Speaker Mike Johnson.

“Congress has abandoned its constitutional duty to the American people to properly oversee the spending of their hard-earned money paid as taxes,” Spartz declared in the statement. “Our next speaker must show courageous leadership to get our country back on track before this ‘Titanic’ strikes an iceberg at any moment.”

Smugglers abandon two migrant girls at southern border with note to authorities

Texas troopers rescued two girls abandoned at the southern border. (Texas Department of Public Safety.)

Smugglers abandoned two migrant children at the southern border in Texas this week, fleeing back to Mexico as Texas authorities came to the little girls’ rescue, amid continued concerns about the numbers of unaccompanied minors coming across the border.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said that its troopers had recovered the two little girls, who are five and nine years old, after the smuggler had abandoned them and fled back to Mexico.

The girls, from El Salvador, carried only a note with an address and phone number, and were then referred to U.S. Border Patrol.

The incident taps into ongoing concerns about unaccompanied migrant children coming across the border, with numbers increasing significantly during the recent migrant crisis.

There have been a number of incidents of abandoned children being rescued, often with phone numbers or addresses of relatives or others written on paper or stitched into clothing. When children arrive unaccompanied, they are transferred eventually to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and released to sponsors in the U.S.

“During our ongoing audit to assess ICE’s ability to monitor the location and status of UCs who were released or transferred from the custody of the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), we learned ICE transferred more than 448,000 UCs to HHS from fiscal years 2019 to 2023,” the internal watchdog reported.

“However, ICE was not able to account for the location of all UCs who were released by HHS and did not appear as scheduled in immigration court. ICE reported more than 32,000 UCs failed to appear for their immigration court hearings from FYs 2019 to 2023,” it said.

The watchdog also found that approximately 291,000 unaccompanied migrant children have not yet been marked for removal proceedings, because ICE has routinely failed to schedule immigration court dates and serve notices.

ICEs FY 2024 report found that, despite the surge of more than 500,000 unaccompanied migrant children into the U.S. during the Biden administration, just 411 were removed in FY 2024, an increase from the 212 in FY 2023. For comparison, more than 4,000 were removed in FY 2022.

Emmy-winning investigative journalist Catherine Herridge has released a new bombshell interview with a CIA whistleblower who has claimed the Biden administration has covered up officers’ injuries from direct energy weapons from foreign adversaries.

In the interview, Herridge asks a former intelligence officer, “You were attacked?” to which the officer responds, “Yes.”

Herridge continued, “You were attacked by an energy weapon?” to which the CIA whistleblower responded, “Yes, a direct energy weapon.”

The Emmy-winning investigative journalist further shared, “The intelligence community has attempted to thwart Congressional investigative efforts to uncover the truth at every turn that sounds like a government cover-up.”

The whistleblower responded, “It’s a coverup, and it’s terrifying, and it should be terrifying for all Americans.”

The whistleblower stated she decided to speak out now because the “CIA is betraying, and not just betraying, but making friends of mine and my life a living hell. I want them to stop denying what is happening to us, and so there can be opportunities to collect the information that we need so that we can prevent this from happening to more people.”

Later in the interview, Herridge asks the whistleblower, “Will a Trump/Vance administration make a change?”

Whether it was their coverage of the 2024 presidential campaign or participation in Democrats’ war on the Supreme Court, America’s propaganda press maintained its ethically bankrupt reputation.

So, in no particular order, here are the biggest hoaxes and misinformation campaigns run by legacy media hacktivists this year.

The latest aid package includes:

  • Hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds.
  • Thousands of rockets.
  • Hundreds of armored vehicles.

Biden also noted that the Department of Defense is utilizing older U.S. equipment to rapidly meet Ukraine’s needs while modernizing America’s defense industrial base. The drawdown strategy allows surplus U.S. military supplies to be sent directly to Ukraine, ensuring swift delivery to the battlefield…

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares for his return to office, his team has outlined key priorities for his first days in the White House, which will include immediate executive actions to address pressing national issues.

During a segment on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, Karoline Leavitt, Jason Chaffetz, and Alina Habba discussed the steps Trump plans to take on Day One and the challenges he will face as he takes office.

Leavitt, who will serve as Trump’s incoming White House press secretary, spoke about the significant changes Trump plans to implement immediately.

“Well, President Trump isn’t even back in the Oval Office yet, and we’re already seeing the Trump Effect, small business optimism. So President Trump is already acting as the president. He’s already taking steps to make real change for the American people,” she said.

Leavitt continued, emphasizing the importance of Trump’s executive orders:

“On day one, yes, he will use the power of his pen to deliver on many of the promises he made to the American people on the campaign trail, to secure the southern border, to fast track permits for fracking, for drilling, and to also take executive action to stop some of the transgender insanity that we have seen take over this country.”

Trump’s legal counselor, Alina Habba, highlighted the ongoing legal efforts to ensure Trump’s vision can take shape upon his return to office.
