Govt. blames Covid after issuing 7.1 million visas to foreigners without proper vetting

In addition to the unfathomable immigration crisis that has jolted the nation during the Biden administration, millions of foreign nationals have been granted visas to enter the United States without proper vetting that includes in-person interviews and the collection of fingerprints similar to the Visa Express program used by three of the 9/11 hijackers.
The Department of State (DoS) issues visas to individuals seeking entry into the U.S. on a temporary basis for study, tourism, medical treatment, business, and temporary work.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 the agency waived requirements to conduct consular interviews and collect fingerprints for some nonimmigrant visa applicants and 7.1 million got in without proper screening between 2020 and 2023, a recently published federal audit reveals.
The agency said the waiver was issued to address staffing limitations and visa backlogs, according to the probe which was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General.
In its report, which includes multiple redactions to supposedly protect sensitive information, the watchdog refers to the enormous amount of visa waivers as an “urgent issue” that must be addressed.
The security lapse was created by the State Department when the task of screening the foreign visa holders was passed along to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the overwhelmed frontline agency charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. during an unprecedented onslaught of illegal immigrants.
Unbelievably the Inspector General found that CBP, which must balance facilitating lawful travel and trade with protecting land and seaports amid a deluge of migrants, was not informed which foreign visa holders arriving at the U.S. border were not properly vetted by the State Department….
Chinese ’Rolling Surveillance Devices’ Pose Terrifying Threat| Beyond the Headline

Fortune has exposed a disturbing truth: Chinese-owned self-driving cars are testing on American roads.
These vehicles, dubbed “rolling surveillance devices,” have clocked 1.8 million miles in California since 2017.
Equipped with advanced cameras and sensors, the real threat is massive data collection, as these cars gather vast amounts of detailed video footage and geospatial information.
Unlike TikTok and Huawei, these autonomous vehicles operate with minimal oversight, which makes the government’s inaction quite baffling.
Even people like BlackRock’s Larry Fink have concerns about China. Listen to what he has to say.
Kamala’s Legacies

One day before the deadline, California Gov. Gavin Newsom scrapped plans to place on the November 5 ballot a measure to compete with an already qualified proposition to reform Proposition 47. That measure, passed by voters on November 4, 2014, is a legacy item for Kamala Harris, who could be on the ballot for president this November 5.
As California’s attorney general in 2014, Harris named a proposition that changed thefts of property valued under $950 from felonies to misdemeanors. Harris called it the “Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” but failed to explain how legalizing crime made schools and neighborhoods safer. She has claimed she took no position on the act, but the ballot language has exposed that falsehood.
Proposition 47 launched a crime wave across the state, with 31,322 vehicle break-ins in San Francisco alone in 2017, a 24-percent increase from the previous year.
The measure empowered criminals to break into vehicles in broad daylight with bystanders present. The arrest rate in San Francisco, where Harris previously served as district attorney, was less than two percent, and under Proposition 47 criminals could expect at the most a citation.
Harris was so lightly regarded the Sacramento Bee, a reliable Democrat mouthpiece, endorsed her Republican rival Steve Cooley. On election night in 2010, Cooley enjoyed a lead of 10 points and proclaimed victory. The next day, the Harris campaign proclaimed that Kamala would be the next attorney general.
According to a witness on the scene, members of the Service Employees International Union, loyal to Harris, were counting the harvested ballots. Three weeks later, Harris prevailed by .8 percent. If anybody thought the election was stolen from Cooley it would be hard to blame them, and the fraudsters have other forces on their side.
Voting in American elections requires American citizenship, but California registers false-documented illegals to vote when they get their driver’s license. Democrats won’t say how many illegals actually vote, and the “motor voter” program has never been independently audited.
In 2019, attorney general Xavier Becerra hinted that there were 10 million “immigrants” in the state, and that opens up many possibilities, especially with party cadres known as politiqueros coercing illegals into voting for Democrats. Legal voters can have more than a reasonable doubt about Gavin Newsom’s victory in the 2021 recall….
4 arrested for kidnap and torture of suspected rival gang members as drug wars escalate in Germany

The SEK was able to arrest four armed suspected kidnappers.
The judiciary suspects a conflict between various organized crime groups. It is alleged that drugs went missing during a cocaine and cannabis deal between the El-Zein clan from North Rhine-Westphalia and the Dutch “Mocro Mafia”. According to Bild, the illegal goods are said to have a total value of around €9 million. The “Mocro Mafia” is a criminal gang of Moroccans based in the Netherlands, which is expanding its territory into Germany and causing tensions.
Recently, investigators in North Rhine-Westphalia have become increasingly aware of conflicts between criminal gangs. A week and a half ago, there were three bomb attacks on houses in Cologne-Mülheim and Buchheim over two nights. Windows and entrance areas were damaged, but no one was injured.
The following day, an explosive device made with black powder detonated outside a front door in Engelskirchen, followed two days later by one in Duisburg. Due to the similarity of the cases, investigators quickly suspected a connection….
Israel military orders Gaza City residents to leave as it intensifies operations

The Israeli military has directed all residents of Gaza City to move southwards to the central Gaza Strip as operations intensify in the north. Aircraft on Wednesday (July 10) dropped leaflets instructing “everyone in Gaza City” to leave the area and described the populated area in the blockaded Palestinian enclave as a “dangerous combat zone.”
Israel asked Gaza City residents to leave via designated safe routes leading to shelters in Deir al-Balah and al-Zawaida.
Over the past two weeks, Israeli forces have re-entered several districts in Gaza City where the military believes Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) fighters had regrouped since the start of the year.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced earlier on Wednesday that its troops had conducted a “counterterrorism operation” overnight against Hamas and PIJ fighters operating from a UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) headquarters in Gaza City. The IDF stated that a “defined corridor” had been opened to facilitate civilian evacuation before troops entered the structure and “eliminated terrorists in close-quarters combat.”
‘GAS CHAMBER’ TO GET TO WORK ENDING LIVES IN SWITZERLAND THIS MONTH

A gas chamber device designed to enable people to kill themselves quickly is due to be used for the first time this month, according to Swiss media reports.
The capsule-like technology – called the ‘Sarco Pod’, ‘Sarco’ being short for sarcophagus – is designed for a person to enter and press a button that will reportedly kill them within seconds.
The pod fills with nitrogen which results in a rapid decrease in oxygen, rendering the user unconscious before they’re killed.
Exit International’s ‘Sarco’ webpage says that the pod creates the conditions for a “peaceful, even euphoric death” and that its design was intended to suggest “a sense of occasion: of travel to a ‘new destination’”.
It was designed by controversial euthanasia advocate Philip Nitschke, often referred to by the media as ‘Dr Death’, who late last year appeared before the Oireachtas Committee on Assisted Dying to give expert testimony.
Nitschke was presented at the committee as a doctor, and was referred to as a member of the medical profession by a committee member.
However, Nitschke’s ‘Dr’ title is related to a PhD in physics, not having practised medicine for years….
Joint U.S.-Panama Effort to Secure Darién Jungle

Over 500,000 migrants crossed through it in 2023. This jungle route is notorious for dangers like wildlife and criminal activities.
The pact, signed on July 1 by U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Panama’s Foreign Minister Javier Martínez-Acha, launches a foreign aid program.
This initiative, funded by the U.S. State Department, supports Panama in managing irregular migration, reflecting the goals of the 2022 Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection.
Barbed wire barriers have been installed along the Darién Gap to control movement and address security concerns, despite the U.S. denying involvement in this specific measure.
This bilateral effort counters a significant migration surge from countries like Venezuela, Ecuador, Haiti, Colombia, and China.
Skeptics question the execution feasibility, pointing out logistical and infrastructural challenges, particularly with Panama’s capacity to manage such a complex issue.
UAE: Unfair Trial, Unjust Sentences

The convictions of at least 44 defendants in the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) mass trial of at least 84 human rights defenders and political dissidents were based on a fundamentally unfair trial, a coalition of human rights groups said today. On July 10, 2024, the Abu Dhabi Federal Appeals Court meted out sentences ranging from between 15 years to life in prison in the UAE’s second largest unfair mass trial.
“These over-the-top long sentences make a mockery of justice and are another nail in the coffin for the UAE’s nascent civil society,” said Joey Shea, United Arab Emirates researcher at Human Rights Watch. “The UAE has dragged scores of its most dedicated human rights defenders and civil society members through a shamelessly unfair trial riddled with due process violations and torture allegations.”
Given that the charges are based solely on defendants’ peaceful practice of their human rights, UAE authorities should immediately overturn these convictions and release all defendants, the groups said.
Among the 44 defendants whose conviction is known, 4 people were sentenced to 15 years in prison and 40 to life in prison, according to the Emirates Detainees Advocacy Center, a human rights organization supporting imprisoned human rights defenders in the UAE.
Three of those sentenced to life in prison are an academic, Nasser bin Ghaith, Abdulsalam Darwish al-Marzouqi, and Sultan Bin Kayed al-Qasimi.
At least one defendant was acquitted. The verdicts for many of the defendants are not yet known as the authorities have yet to release official details about the convictions and sentences….
Elon Musk Beats $500 Million Severance Lawsuit by Fired Twitter Workers

U.S. District Judge Trina Thompson in San Francisco ruled Tuesday that the federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act governing benefit plans did not cover the former employees’ claims, and therefore she lacked jurisdiction.
Thompson said ERISA did not apply to Twitter’s post-buyout plan because there was no “ongoing administrative scheme” where the company reviewed claims case-by-case, or offered benefits such as continued health insurance and out placement services.
“There were only cash payments promised,” she wrote.
The judge said employees fired in Twitter’s 2022 and 2023 mass layoffs can try amending their complaint, but only for claims not governed by ERISA…
4 Indian nationals accused of trafficking 100 people or more in Texas and forcing them to perform tech labor: Report

In March, a pest control company became concerned after providing services for bed bugs at a residence in Princeton, Texas, about 40 miles northeast of Dallas.
When company staff members arrived at the home, they reportedly discovered between three and five women crammed into each room, suitcases strewn everywhere.
The company called Princeton police, asking for a welfare check at the home. Detectives eventually obtained a search warrant for the residence, and what they found there was shocking.
According to reports, at least 15 women had been living at the home, working as programmers for shell companies owned by the homeowner, Santhosh Katkoori, and his wife, Dwaraka Gunda, both of whom are 31 years old.
At the home, investigators discovered “multiple” electronic devices, including laptops, cellphones, and printers, a police press release said. They also found allegedly forged documents….

“Time is running short” – Nancy Pelosi gives tepid response to Biden’s candidacy
Her comments come despite President Biden’s insistence that he intends to stay in the race and is not contemplating dropping out.
Pelosi stopped short of calling on President Biden to exit the presidential race, as several of her Democratic colleagues in the House have done.
Pelosi told MSNBC, “As long as the president – it’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We are all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short.
L.A. robber stole Rolex, got no-prison deal from D.A. Now he’s accused of killing tourist at mall

(OnScene.TV)
The alleged leader of an armed robbery crew charged with killing a New Zealand tourist last week outside Newport Beach’s Fashion Island mall had been placed on probation for stealing a Rolex at gunpoint in Santa Monica.
He avoided prison time in that case after Los Angeles County prosecutors agreed to a three-year suspended sentence, according to interviews and records reviewed by The Times.
Leroy Ernest McCrary, 26, now faces a special circumstances murder charge that could carry the death penalty after authorities allege he ran over Patricia “Trish” McKay, 68, during a July 2 robbery attempt.
Prosecutors agreed to a plea deal that spared him prison time in the Santa Monica case, court records show. McCrary pleaded no contest on April 26, 2023, to one count of robbery and was sentenced by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Cathryn Brougham to three years. But Brougham suspended the sentence and placed McCrary on two years’ probation. She also ordered him to complete 200 hours of community service.
McCrary’s suspended sentence ran concurrent to another suspended sentence for a conviction for possessing a gun as a felon in a separate case the LAPD investigated.
Brougham ordered a probation report be completed before McCrary’s sentencing. But courthouse clerks could find no report when The Times requested it. Such reports usually give a recommendation on sentencing and the defendant’s suitability for probation.
McCrary’s co-defendant pleaded no contest to receiving stolen property in exchange for prosecutors dropping the robbery count. Baker, who had three prior felony convictions for grand theft, possessing a gun as a felon and escaping from custody, was also sentenced to two years’ probation….
FDA blesses departing COVID vaccine reviewers to influence agency ‘behind the scenes’ at Moderna

FOIA productions to University of Maryland pharmacy professor Peter Doshi, which he shared with Just the News, show FDA ethics officers repeatedly telling employees who reviewed Moderna’s COVID vaccine, then accepted job offers from Moderna, they can legally work “behind the scenes” – in quotes – to influence the FDA’s treatment of their new employer.
Just the News found similar wording in an exemption to a federal law permanently restricting “any former employee’s representations to [the] United States concerning particular matter[s] in which the employee participated personally and substantially.”
The law states “behind-the-scenes assistance to another person” that doesn’t involve “a communication to or an appearance before” a federal employee is exempt.
Doshi, also senior editor at the British Medical Journal, obtained but did not post the emails for a followup report on an earlier BMJ investigation “into the revolving door between the FDA and industry,” focusing on Moderna and the Office of Vaccines Research and Review.
National Center for Health Research President Diana Zuckerman told Doshi she was surprised by the FDA’s guidance. ….

Russia Outlaws The Moscow Times as ‘Undesirable’ Organization

Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has labeled The Moscow Times as “undesirable.”
The designation bans anyone from working with or having links to the organization, with criminal prosecution for violations.
“The work of the outlet is aimed at discrediting the decisions of the leadership of the Russian Federation in both foreign and domestic policy,” the office said in a statement.
The office also accused The Moscow Times of “publications containing unreliable socially significant information aimed at discrediting the activities” of the government regarding the war in Ukraine.
The “undesirable” designation bans The Moscow Times’ work inside Russia, puts staff members at risk of jail time, and criminalizes engagement with the outlet.
Russians have even been fined for reposting web links and articles published by “undesirable organizations,” according to the independent Mediazona news website.
“Of course, we will continue with our work as usual: independent journalism. That’s a crime in Putin’s Russia,” The Moscow Times’ founder Derk Sauer said in a post on X (formerly Twitter)….
Western Parts Power Russian Missile That Hit Kyiv Children’s Hospital – FT

Western-designed components are used in the type of Russian missile that struck a Kyiv children’s hospital this week, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing experts and Ukrainian officials.
At least 43 people were killed and almost 200 wounded in a Russian missile barrage across Ukraine on Monday, including a direct hit at the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital, where at least four children and two people were killed.
The United Nations says Russia likely fired a Kh-101 air-to-surface cruise missile armed with several hundred kilograms of explosives from an aircraft at Okhmatdyt.
Moscow has claimed that Ukrainian air defense caused the damage in Kyiv, though eyewitness video of the strike shows the missile’s wings, nose, fuselage and external engine typical of the Kh-101.
Russia’s ability to keep buying the Western-designed parts on the open market and importing them via China underscores Moscow’s success at evading wartime sanctions.

IDF has killed 60% of Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Gallant tells Knesset

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Wednesday that 60% of Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip have been killed or wounded as a result of Israel’s operation in Gaza.
Speaking at the Knesset, he also said that Israel had broken up the majority of the 24 battalions that Hamas’s military wing had at the start of the war.
“The action of the IDF that has so far led to the elimination of over 14,000 terrorists and the collapse of the military frameworks of Hamas is, in fact, the testimony of what I am saying – everything will be done in accordance with the law and in accordance with the operational need.”
According to KAN news, Gallant also stated that “international legitimacy” was a significant condition for the continuation of the operation.
Gallant also said on Wednesday that draft notices would be delivered in the next few weeks to some ultra-Orthodox Jews who had previously been exempt from serving in the Israeli military….
Top US intel official: Iran supporting, giving money to Gaza war protests in America to disrupt

Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines issued a warning on Wednesday about “concerning Iranian activity” in the U.S. related to protests against the war in Gaza.
“In recent weeks, Iranian government actors have sought to opportunistically take advantage of ongoing protests regarding the war in Gaza, using a playbook we’ve seen other actors use over the years,” Haines said in her warning statement. “We have observed actors tied to Iran’s government posing as activists online, seeking to encourage protests, and even providing financial support to protesters.”
Haines also said that while the “freedom to express diverse views, when done peacefully, is essential to our democracy,” it is also “important to warn of foreign actors who seek to exploit our debate for their own purposes.”
In addition, Haines said some Americans “who are being targeted by this Iranian campaign may not be aware that they are interacting with or receiving support from a foreign government.”…
Our daughters have been held by sex attackers and could now be giving birth, say hostages’ mothers

For nine months, they have been begging for the lives of their daughters, abducted into Gaza by terrorists on October 7.
They know their girls may have been sexually abused and tortured; they may not even still be alive.
They’ve seen other hostages exchanged, and even rescued, but they have now come together to ask for a ceasefire deal that will bring their girls home.
The parents of four of the young women still held hostage – Daniella Gilboa, Doron Steinbrecher, Agam Berger and Romi Gonen – spoke at a press conference on Tuesday night to say the world must not forget their plight.
“Nine months is a symbolic time for a parent, normally a happy time, but my daughter is in the hands of terrorists who we know sexually abused and raped women and all I can think about is that this is a sad day for my daughter who may or may not be pregnant,” said Orli Gilboa whose IDF observer daughter Daniella is just 20.
Earlier this week, Orli made the decision to release Hamas footage of her daughter in order to keep the pressure up….

NATO Begins Sending F-16 Jets to Ukraine as Biden Leads Summit

NATO allies announced Wednesday they had started the long-promised transfer of F-16 jets to Ukraine as leaders meet for a summit in Washington clouded by political uncertainties in the United States.
With the pomp of the three-day gathering in the US capital, President Joe Biden is aiming to rally the West and also reassure U.S. voters amid intense pre-election scrutiny on whether at 81 — six years older than the alliance — he remains fit for the job.
Kicking off events for the 32-nation alliance with a celebration Tuesday evening, Biden committed a new air defense system for Kyiv and urged unity against Russian President Vladimir Putin, who launched the Ukraine invasion in 2022.
“Make no mistake. Ukraine can — and will — stop Putin,” Biden said in a forceful speech.
The White House followed up Wednesday by saying that Denmark and the Netherlands had begun sending F-16 jets to Ukraine.
Biden last year approved the key request by Ukraine, which wants advanced Western aircraft as it struggles to gain parity in the skies with Russia.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the F-16 transfer “concentrates Vladimir Putin’s mind on the fact that he will not outlast Ukraine, he will not outlast us and, if he persists, the damage that will continue to be done to Russia and its interests will only deepen.”…

Lara Logan Exposes MASSIVE Immigration Policy That Will Legalize Child Trafficking Across The Border
Biden admin scrambles to stop releasing migrants from ISIS hotbed country into US — but hundreds have already crossed

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers received orders in the last few weeks that migrants from Tajikistan shouldn’t be released from custody. If they are, they need to be interviewed by intelligence officials first, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) source told The Post.
Former DHS officials told The Post that the new order is an attempt to close the barn door after eight Tajik nationals were arrested in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia for suspected ISIS ties, as previously revealed by The Post.
“It seems like the damage is already done. I appreciate they’re trying to do what they can after the fact. The bottom line is, if they would turn on the Trump policies, secure the border, end catch and release, they’d be a hell of a lot safer,” said Tom Homan, former acting ICE director.
More than 1,500 Tajik migrants are known to have crossed the southern border between October 2020 and May 2024, according to leaked border data obtained by The Post.
During the previous 14 years, just 26 Tajiks were caught crossing….

6 foreign nationals in Southern California charged in massive ATM ‘skimming’ scam

Six foreign nationals in the country illegally, all living in Southern California, have been charged by federal authorities for their alleged roles in a sweeping, multi-state conspiracy to install “skimming” devices on automated teller machines and checkout point-of-sale units at retail stores, officials announced Tuesday.
Skimming devices allow fraudsters to read and capture account information and PIN numbers when customers swipe or insert their credit, debit, and EBT cards to complete a purchase on terminals where the devices have been attached,” a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s District of Rhode Island Office stated.
Authorities say that the individuals, four of which are citizens of Romania, one from Great Britain and another from Ireland who have all been living in Orange County, allegedly withdrew as much as $300,000 from the bank accounts of unsuspecting victims and have made a yet unknown number of retail purchases…..
Exclusive — Steve Bannon Speaks from Behind Bars: Democrats Sticking with Biden Means ‘We Got the Candidate We Want’

Bannon, who agreed to do this emailed question-and-answer with Breitbart News from prison, answered several questions, including most importantly his reaction to the fact that Democrats as a party are now sticking with President Joe Biden as their nominee after Biden’s disastrous debate performance.
In the past day, top Democrats from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to the chairs of the Congressional Black Caucus and Congressional Hispanic Caucus, as well as “Squad” leaders Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), have made clear Biden is their guy and nothing is changing at the top of the ticket of their party.
Bannon, in comments sure to further inflame tensions on the left, says that means for supporters of former President Donald Trump that “we got the candidate we want” on the other side.
That being said, Bannon argues that despite the political disaster for Democrats that Biden remaining the nominee for president presents, the nation faces a serious national security crisis with Biden still president when he clearly is not able to execute the duties of the position.
Bannon says this “national security crisis” is “separate” from the political issues, and pressed Congressional Republicans like House Speaker Mike Johnson to aggressively investigate the matter.
Bannon said Johnson should cancel the scheduled August recess and make Congress stay to work to get to the bottom of what he called the nation being led currently by a “non-performing cadaver” in Biden….
Florida woman charged after allegedly making online death threats toward DeSantis: ‘Will not be tolerated’

Danyele Callaway, 20, was charged with written or electronic threat to kill or inflict bodily injury, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
DeSantis’ office notified the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Monday after threatening messages were made to his office on his website. The agency then contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office about the threats.
The message from the suspect, later identified as Callaway, included a request for an immediate in-person meeting and “life-threatening statements,” sparking concerns among the governor’s staff, the sheriff’s office said.
Callaway has been arrested before, including for domestic violence-related charges and battery on public servants, the sheriff’s office said. She has also previously made verbal threats against DeSantis and has made anti-government and anti-law enforcement comments….
Businesswoman who complained about cartel extortion and illegal fishing is shot dead in Mexico

Unidentified gunmen killed Minerva Pérez, the head of the state’s fishing industry chamber, in what state prosecutor Maria Elena Andrade described as a direct assassination attack that riddled the victim with several gunshot wounds.
The killing Monday in the port city of Ensenada came just hours after Pérez complained of widespread competition from illegal fishing.
But in the previous months Pérez had also complained that drug cartels are extorting protection payments from fishing boats, distributors, truck drivers and even restaurants.
Andrade said, “We are investigating all of the issues related to whether this was linked to conflicts involving fishing.”….
