Six indicted tied to New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ campaign

Six people have been indicted in New York, accused of a straw donor fundraising scheme tied to New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ 2021 campaign.
The indictment, announced Friday by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, says a former New York Police Department commander headed up a scheme that gamed the city’s matching funds system, which provides a generous 8:1 match for money donated by New York City residents to a political campaign.
Prosecutors say police Deputy Inspector Dwayne Montgomery, now a union official who owns a construction safety consulting firm, led the scheme to illegally structure donations to Adams’ campaign by enlisting friends and family members between 2020 and 2021 to make contributions to the matching funds system.
None of the charges in the 27-count indictment implicate Adams or any current city officials, or explain how much money was diverted to the Democrat’s campaign coffers.
Biden’s pick to lead Joint Chiefs of Staff led DEI efforts at Air Force

President Joe Biden’s nominee to Chair the Joint Chiefs of Staff helped spearhead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion movement at the Air Force and now faces formal Inspector General complaints over his pledge to promote and hire subordinates based on race.
Chief of Staff of the Air Force Charles Q. Brown is expected to testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday as the next step in his nomination process.
Brown has been a major backer of the DEI efforts at the Air Force, which has joined other branches in embracing the DEI agenda.
The Air Force launched a Diversity and Inclusion Task Force in September 2020, and Brown said in the fall of 2020 that DEI was a key point of recruiting and a factor in promotions.
EXC: DOJ Removed ‘International Sex Trafficking Of Minors’ From Areas Of Concern.

The Department of Justice erased content from its webpage on child sex trafficking that highlighted the plight of “international sex trafficking of minors” in late May.
The stunning revision comes amidst scrutiny of President Joe Biden’s continued incitement of mass migration via America’s porous southern border – a prime avenue for child sex trafficking – and also coincides with the recent release of the film “The Sound of Freedom.”
The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) webpage chronicling what constitutes child sex trafficking and how the department is combatting it underwent severe revisions on May 12th, 2023, including the erasure of the three sections:
“International Sex Trafficking of Minors”; “Domestic Sex Trafficking of Minors,” and “Child Victims of Prostitution.”
“The United States not only faces a problem of foreign victims trafficked into the country, but there is also a homegrown problem of American children being recruited and exploited for commercial sex,” begins the section detailing domestic sex trafficking.

Obama-era emails reveal Hunter’s extensive ties to nearly a dozen senior-level Biden admin aides

Nearly a dozen current and former officials serving in the White House and Biden administration, including the president’s national security adviser and the secretary of state, have extensive ties to Hunter Biden, who is accused by Republicans of selling access to his father, dating back over a decade.
A Fox News Digital analysis reveals the extent of Hunter’s potential reach in the White House, while the embattled first son is expected to make his first court appearance on July 26 for two alleged misdemeanor tax violations and a felony gun charge.
The analysis includes two members of Biden’s Cabinet and one former Cabinet member, a top aide to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a national security adviser, five top Biden White House aides, and a top Biden campaign aide who is currently on leave from her role as a communications director for first lady Jill Biden.
Sullivan was recently accused by former White House official Mike McCormick of being a “conspirator” in the Biden family’s “kickback scheme” in Ukraine when Biden was vice president.
Sullivan denied the allegations, telling reporters that he had nothing to do with such an operation.
Far-Left Georgia Mayor Charged With Home Burglary
Illinois Bill Will Allow Illegal Aliens to Police Americans

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has made it possible for illegal aliens to become police officers on the local, county, and state levels.
They can now police Americans even though they break our laws to come into the US. We don’t even know their background.
The law, implemented earlier this year, requires only that officers have a work permit issued by the federal government.
Work permits, specifically under President Joe Biden’s administration, are given out regularly to border crossers and illegal aliens released into the United States after crossing the southern border.”
Now, Illinois is looking to do the same thing.
Unsold electric cars are piling up on dealer lots

The growing mismatch between EV supply and demand is a sign that even though consumers are showing more interest in EVs, they’re still wary about purchasing one because of price or charging concerns.
Sales aren’t keeping up with that increased output.
Some brands are seeing higher EV inventories than others.
- Genesis, the Korean luxury brand, sold only 18 of its nearly $82,000 Electrified G80 sedans in the 30 days leading up to June 29, and had 210 in stock nationwide — a 350-day supply, per Cox research.
- Other luxury models, like Audi’s Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron and the GMC Hummer EV SUV, also have bloated inventories well above 100 days. All come with hefty price tags that make them ineligible for federal tax credits.
- Imported models like the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Nissan Ariya are also stacking up — likely because they’re not eligible for tax credits either.
- Tesla’s price-cutting strategy could be taking a toll, too: The once-hot Ford Mustang Mach-E now has a 117-day supply. Ford says that’s the result of ramped-up production in anticipation of stronger third-quarter sales.
The intrigue: Hybrid vehicles have much lower inventory levels, supporting Toyota’s argument that consumers want a stepping stone to fully electric cars.
Sarah Silverman Sues Meta, OpenAI

The proposed class action lawsuits filed by Silverman, Richard Kadrey and Christopher Golden in San Francisco federal court Friday allege Facebook parent company Meta and ChatGPT maker OpenAI used copyrighted material to train chat bots.
The lawsuits underscore the legal risks developers of chat bots face when using troves of copyrighted material to create apps that deliver realistic responses to user prompts.
Silverman, Kadrey and Golden allege Meta and OpenAI used their books without authorization to develop their so-called large language models, which their makers pitch as powerful tools for automating tasks by replicating human conversation.
Mark Zuckerberg spends $43 MILLION on private security after giving over $5 million to ‘defund the police’ initiatives

Meta CEO and founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has paid $43 million for personal security. At the same time, a family-run foundation of his has donated millions to “defund the police” organizations.
According to journalist Lee Fang, since 2020, the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) has donated $3 million to PolicyLink, the organization backing DefundPolice.org.
Meanwhile, Meta has dedicated over $40 million to Zuckerberg for personal security.
DefundPolice.org claims it is the “one-stop-shop for organizers looking for tools, resources, and trainings to divest from policing and build safer communities.”
Judge Bars Kansas From Changing Transgender People’s Sex on Licenses

A state judge on Monday ordered Kansas to stop allowing transgender people to change the listing for their sex on their driver’s licenses, ahead of the first hearing in a lawsuit filed by state’s attorney general against the practice.
District Judge Teresa Watson issued the order three days after Attorney General Kris Kobach, a Republican, sued two officials in Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly’s administration over her announcement that the state’s motor vehicles division would continue changing driver’s licenses for transgender people so that the sex listing matches their gender identities.
Kobach contends that a law, which took effect on July 1, prevents such changes and requires the state to reverse any previous changes in its records.
The order will stay in effect for up two weeks, although Watson can extend it. But the judge’s move is significant because transgender people have been able to change their driver’s licenses for four years, and almost 400 people have done so.
Soros-funded charity accused in IRS complaint of illegally not disclosing lobbying

A George Soros-backed immigration charity that pushes for open borders is being accused by a conservative watchdog in an IRS complaint of unlawfully failing to disclose how it lobbied Congress.
Alianza Americas may have violated federal law in recent years by claiming on tax forms it had not lobbied despite engaging in activities that seemingly constitute formal advocacy, attorneys specializing in charity law say.
Now the National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative watchdog, is calling on the IRS to “conduct a full investigation and audit” into the Chicago group’s apparent 2021 lobbying, as well as impose fines and revoke its tax-exempt status, according to a Monday complaint obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The deputies developed reasonable suspicion to search the car while asking routine questions.
The driver, Alejandro Hernandez Vazquez, consented and the deputies found two vape cartridge THC pens.
But they also learned that the 16-year-old passenger was reported missing by the Coral Springs Police Department in Florida just hours prior to the stop.
Mr. Vazquez was arrested and is facing numerous charges—including child abduction—and was later given a $500,000 secured bond.
IRS was excluded from a briefing on alleged $10M Biden bribery scheme

According to a letter obtained by DailyMail.com that Grassley sent to Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss – who is prosecuting Hunter Biden for federal gun and tax crimes – the senator alleges obstruction of the Hunter probe by one of his top prosecutors, Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf.
Grassley says that according to IRS whistleblowers, Wolf ‘prevented investigators from seeking information about Joe Biden‘s involvement in Hunter Biden’s criminal business arrangements.’
Whistleblower Gary Shapley specifically stated that Wolf ‘discouraged’ investigators from pursuing Joe Biden-connected leads, including by thwarting a search warrant request of Biden’s Delaware guest house due to bad ‘optics,’ and that the prosecutor said there was ‘no specific criminality.’

China: Six Dead in Latest Kindergarten Stabbing Spree

The latest in a string of knife and bomb attacks on Chinese schools took place in the southern province of Guangdong on Monday morning, as a 25-year-old man used a knife to assault a privately-operated kindergarten.
A city government spokeswoman said a teacher, two parents, and three students were killed in the attack.
Security officials in the city of Lianjiang said the assailant, identified only by his surname “Wu,” was taken into custody after the attack.
One Chinese news network quoted a witness who said the assailant had a child who was struck by a vehicle last week.
According to this report, the driver of the vehicle was one of the adults stabbed to death on Monday morning.
Turkey Agrees To Back Sweden’s Bid To Join NATO

Stoltenberg made the announcement after talks in Vilnius with Erdogan and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
“This is a historic day,” Stoltenberg said. “President Erdogan has agreed to forward the Accession Protocol for Sweden to the Grand National Assembly as soon as possible and work closely with the assembly to ensure ratification.”
Turkey has been holding up Sweden’s application to join the alliance over objections to Stockholm’s harboring of Kurdish activists whom Ankara regards as terrorists.
Erdogan earlier on July 10 demanded that the European Union revive Turkey’s stalled EU membership bid as a precondition for Sweden joining NATO.
Iranian Activist Dies In Custody At Urmia Detention Center, Second In Two Days

Hengaw quoted sources as saying Golvani was admitted to the hospital in a coma from what security forces said was a “fall from height.” But Golvani’s sister, the only relative who was able to gain access to see the activist, told the group her brother had extensive bruising on his body, face, and head, raising speculation that he had been tortured.
The announcement of Golvani’s death comes a day after human rights activists reported the death of Esmaili, a Kurdish political prisoner from Piranshahr, at the same detention center, which has long faced allegations of torture and inhumane treatment of its prisoners.
Esmaili, 35, was arrested on May 7 after intelligence agents confiscated his car. Rights groups say he was held for 62 days “without explanation.”
Hindu Activists Prod Mob of Parents to Attack Principal Over Christian Prayer, Security Camera

According to The Journal, several students and parents have spoken out and publicly supported the principal.
In a post to Twitter, Indian Congress leader Shashi Tharoor called the incident “disgraceful” and included a video of the mob chasing Reid in the school building.
“This is disgraceful. What gives Bajrang Dal the right to take violent action with such impunity? And how dare they claim to be defending Hinduism? No decent Hindu behaves like this,” he wrote.

Farage: ‘No Hope’ of Bank Account in UK

British broadcaster and former Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage said he thinks he has no hope of owning a United Kingdom bank account after being rejected by nine banks.
Farage took to social media on June 29 to say the United Kingdom’s “establishment” had closed his bank accounts. He has said it was for political reasons.
“What transpired last week, I thought, was pretty extraordinary,” Farage said Monday in a video posted on YouTube. “I kept on waiting for replies back from banks. It’s now nine U.K. clearing banks that have rejected me, so I’m beginning to think there is no hope of getting a full U.K. clearing bank to give me an account.
“This, of course, is all because of PEP rules: politically exposed persons.”

15 YEAR OLD RAPES 9 YEAR OLD

A 15-year-old attacked Luna. He raped, abused and choked her so severely that she will be scarred for the rest of her life.
She can no longer speak and can hardly move. Even eating is difficult for her. She needs help for that too.
The 15-year-old had already attracted attention several times before this cruel act. He immigrated with his family from Ethiopia in 2018. There were already three charges against him in 2019 because he groped girls at school and called them “whores”. Once he attacked a young woman who was traveling with a moped. Several authorities and psychologists were involved, but no one took action. There were no penalties, no measures, no supervision.
Luna’s aunt Elin shared after the October 2022 trial how angry she can be at times. Not at the boy – but at the authorities, who knew and did nothing.

Corrupt Media Care More About ‘Qanon’ Than Human Trafficking

The point of the movie, as expressed by its star Jim Caviezel in a heartfelt mid-credits call to action, is to wake people up to the horrors of the all-too-real and overlooked exploitation of children in the contemporary sex trade.
This seems like a pretty harmless task, no? If anything, one would think that a widely popular cultural phenomenon attempting to encourage people to stand against the ongoing exploitation of children is a net positive.
However, perhaps unsurprisingly, left-wing media took the opportunity to lambaste “Sound of Freedom” as “a Superhero Movie for Dads With Brainworms” and a “Trafficking Fantasy Fit for Qanon.”
