Former ABC News reporter James Gordon Meek is scheduled to plead guilty later this week in a case accusing him of exchanging child porn content and sending disturbing messages about his alleged perverted desires.
Meek, 53, the former national security journalist, has an appearance scheduled in Virginia federal court on Friday to change his plea, court records show.
If Meek had been convicted at trial, he would have faced a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years. But if he takes a plea deal he could face a much lighter sentence.
The probe was triggered after Dropbox alerted officials that child porn was being stored on Meek’s account.
Former President Donald Trump remains the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican nomination next year.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 68% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Trump is likely to end up being the Republican presidential nominee in 2024, including 37% who think it’s Very Likely.
Just 26% say Trump is not likely to be GOP nominee next year, including 11% who say his nomination is Not At All Likely.
In one example, Twitter employees took action on several accounts after a shady, dark money group called the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) released a report alleging that just 12 accounts produced the majority of anti-vaccine disinformation on social media.
“There isn’t any evidence to support this claim,” Facebook responded in a statement dismissing CCDH’s report.
Nonetheless, the report’s simplistic findings proved catnip to the White House and most media outlets.
In a second incident, Twitter received an email from Indiana University’s Filippo Menczer, a professor of computer science and informatics, who has also made a name for himself as an expert in the disinformation space. Menczer sent the email in late 2021, to alert his fellow misinformation activists that the Associated Press had quoted a website he had created to rank COVID vaccine disinformation accounts.
Like other outlets, NPR ignored Facebook’s later statement rejecting the findings of Ahmed’s group, and the reporter never bothered to ask Ahmed who funds his organization and how he acquired his expertise in disinformation.
The indictment is brazenly hypocritical, as Luft worked on behalf of Chinese foreign influence groups seeking to influence American policies in favor of the Chinese Communist Party that Hunter Biden also has a long history of collaborating with.
One group in particular, CEFC China Energy, has paid the Biden family millions of dollars, potentially including deals counting direct involvement from then-Vice President Biden.
The indictment also came just days after Luft recorded a bombshell video with well-evidenced allegations of Biden family corruption.
War Room can reveal another hypocritical aspect of the Luft indictment, as Paul Haenle, White House China director on the National Security Council staff of former president Barack Obama, participated in a Chinese Communist Party-sponsored conferences alongside Luft.
According to Fox News Digital, an 18-year-old military recruit was forced to not only shower with the biological male, but she was forced to sleep in between “two individuals who were supposedly changing from male to female.”
The recruit reported significant distress about the matter.
Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) brought up the story during a hearing last week.
Rounds was asking the Biden administration’s nominee for chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Gen. CQ Brown, how he would deal with this situation if confirmed by the Senate.
“Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent a letter, (again it was Sunday night) stating I am the TARGET of the January 6 Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always mean an Arrest and Indictment,” he posted on Truth Social Tuesday.
“This has been a never ending fight since the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower,” Trump continued.
“Rather than looking at the CHEATERS, the WEAPONIZED DOJ AND FBI target and harass those who complain about the cheaters, and the massive fraud that took place… These are all Hoaxes and Scams made up to stop me from fighting for the American People — BUT I WILL NEVER STOP!” he said.
“…Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before, or even close…THIS WITCH HUNT IS ALL ABOUT ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND A COMPLETE AND TOTAL POLITICAL WEAPONIZA
Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley provides analysis after former President Trump announced he received a letter from the DOJ saying he is the target of the January 6 grand jury investigation.

The soldier was identified by a senior U.S. defense official as Private 2nd Class Travis King, who was serving under U.S. Forces Korea and the U.S. Army and was due to face disciplinary action.
King was to be separated from the military for cause, and was supposed to go back to the U.S., according to the official, but he missed his flight.
A U.S. defense official also told Fox News the soldier was on a tour in a personal capacity and was wearing civilian clothes at the time of the incident.
King, according to one official that spoke to Fox News, disobeyed orders and went on a tour of the DMZ and then broke away from the tour group.
The Biden administration has awarded private companies hundreds of millions of dollars in no-bid contracts to house illegal aliens amid an unprecedented surge at the southern border. One of the major recipients is a Democrat-linked logistics company that owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes.
Federal law prohibits agencies from awarding grants to companies with unpaid federal taxes.
But Deployed Resources, a New York-based contractor that owes $585,075 in unpaid taxes, received $964 million in federal contracts this year to house illegal immigrants in North Carolina and Texas.
That windfall comes as Deployed Resources cultivated ties to the Democratic Party.
First, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of the Troops of Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence of the Russian Armed Forces, explained roots of US interest in spread of dangerous diseases using transmission vectors.
He quoted US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., who harshly criticised the military-biological activities of the US government:
According to his statement, former US President Nixon announced the termination of the biological weapons program in 1969, but the existing inventions were not destroyed. In order to save the reputation of the US military department, all available information and materials were transferred to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Kennedy emphasized the role of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in operations related to biological weapons, the first of which was Operation Paperclip. Then, specialists from Japan and Nazi Germany were brought to the United States after World War II to “share their experience” in military biological research. The goal of the project was “… the development of an experimental weapons program and the involvement of Japanese scientists, who are the only ones who have ever used biological weapons …”.
The Russian Lieutenant General noted that Japanese developers paid special attention to the use of special biological formulations, as well as the mechanisms of transmission and spread of diseases using special vectors.
In this regard, it is no coincidence that the US Department of Defense is interested in studying the main types of mosquitoes and ticks that carry epidemiologically dangerous infections, including Rift Valley fever, West Nile fever, Dengue fever.
The Russian military has previously revealed that such studies are carried out in specialized biological laboratories both in the United States and abroad.
Dual-use production facilities, in particular, of the biotech company “Oxytech”, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, can be used for mass production of dangerous vectors. The US military specials obtain mosquitoes and ticks infected with arboviruses in such laboratoriues.
Thus, the Pentagon planned to use the armed forces of the United States to test unregistered medicines on the local population with their subsequent approval by supervisory authorities in the interests of the so-called “Big Pharma”.
To achieve these goals, it was proposed to use a network of subordinate biological laboratories and intermediary organizations, such as Metabiota, connected with the son of the US President, Hunter Biden, and government agencies.
Pay attention to the commercial offer (image above) of the Metabiota company marked “confidential”, which was found among the documents in one of the Ukrainian biolabs. The proposal is addressed to the Research Institute of Infectious Diseases of the US Army and concerns the training of specialists in infectious diseases in Kenya and Uganda. The document reveals that the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as well as the US Agency for International Development and a number of EU structures are involved in the study of pathogens in the countries of the African continent.
The involvement of Metabiota in the study of the H7N9 avian influenza virus was confirmed earlier, as well as its leading role in the implementation of the Predicate project, in which new types of coronaviruses were studied, bats that are their carriers in the natural environment were captured.
In the midst of this unfolding controversy, the concerned mother of one of the teenagers involved reached out to Rebel News for assistance in dealing with the serious repercussions. The teenager faced school sanctions soon after the incident, and, several families, including his, received a call from the Sûreté du Québec (Quebec Provincial Police).
The mother expressed her belief that the school holds responsibility for the situation, with her son pointing out that the majority of students come from various religious backgrounds. She mentioned that could lead to inevitable conflicts when imposing LGBTQ+ flags on them. Despite this, the school continued with the display.
As we investigate further, we explore the ongoing police investigation related to ‘hate incitement’ in connection to the event.

Officials have said that the number of asylum seekers in Toronto’s shelter system grew by 500 per cent in 20 months and the city has had to turn them away from at-capacity shelters toward federal programs.
Mayor Olivia Chow has asked for Ottawa to cover the $157 million Toronto is spending for existing refugee shelter spaces, and support with additional housing, shelter space and personnel.
Sean Fraser, the minister of immigration, refugees and citizenship announced the new funding today, saying it will ensure Toronto and other cities can keep a roof over the heads of people fleeing violence, war and persecution.
Meanwhile, police forces blocked the entrance to the train station in Lod and are only permitting those with travel tickets to enter the Tel Aviv-Hashalom train station. A number of anti-government protestors bought tickets in order to enter the train station to protest the government’s planned judicial reforms.
No trains are stopping at the Tel Aviv-Hashalom station due to the congestion caused by the demonstrators at the station.
Channel 14 reporter Atti Shalev was attacked during a demonstration at the Tel Aviv-Hashalom station.

FOX Business host Larry Kudlow discusses Trump’s chances in the primaries, kitchen table issues ahead of the 2024 election and Twitter fact checkers flagging Biden’s ‘Bidenomics’ tweet.
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, discusses the House Judiciary Committee looking into Big Pharma’s role in the censorship probe, upcoming testimony from IRS whistleblowers, and his threat to the FBI director and Meta CEO.
House Republicans immediately rallied around the former President.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said,
“President Trump just increased his lead in the polls. So what does the Biden Administration do next? Weaponize government to go after President Biden’s number one opponent. This is not equal justice. It’s wrong, and the American public is tired of it.”
“This shameful witch hunt against President Trump by Joe Biden’s corrupt Department of Justice is just the latest chilling chapter in the Far Left’s unAmerican weaponization of the justice system against their leading political opponent,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: “Jack Smith has weaponized the federal government against President Trump in a complete lie about January 6 to cover up the crimes of Joe & Hunter Biden and their entire criminal family. The Democrats want to arrest every one of their political opponents. It’s hard to recognize our country anymore.”
Congressman Jim Jordan deposed Special Counsel Jack Smith in 2014 due to Smith’s role in trying to prosecute conservative nonprofits targeted in the Lois Lerner IRS scandal.
Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at the Government Accountability Institute, says on the latest episode of the Drill Down podcast that FBI Director Christopher Wray’s Congressional testimony last week only confirms Bruner’s own research into the Bureau. “The past four FBI directors have all been involved in some kind of political scandal, weaponizing the Bureau against political opponents,” Bruner tells host Eric Eggers.
The two GAI investigators note that the last few weeks have not been good for the FBI. New findings from two congressional inquiries have exposed several instances where FBI personnel actively impeded investigations and tipped off Hunter Biden’s attorneys to a planned search of a storage facility belonging to him.
If you lost every good thing in your life, would you still praise God? The Book of Job from the Old Testament is considered one of the great masterpieces of early literature.
Michael Knowles is joined by Owen Anderson, Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Arizona State University, to examine one of the Bible’s most profound stories, which explores the issues of human suffering, the nature of God, and the meaning of life.
While at the 2023 FAMiLY Leadership Summit, broadcasted by Blaze Media, Glenn watched two presidential campaigns go down in flames in a way that can only be compared to the Hindenberg.
Glenn reviews the moments from Tucker Carlson’s interviews with former Governor Asa Hutchinson — who appeared to suggest that protecting children from trans medical “treatments” isn’t a big issue — and former Vice President Mike Pence — who infamously appeared to suggest that the degradation of American cities is “not my concern.”
But is that actually what he meant … and does it matter? Glenn, Pat, and Stu break it all down.
