Missing mom’s chopped-up body parts found at landfill: cops

Human remains belonging to a missing Oregon mother have been recovered at a landfill 70 miles from the blood-drenched home she shared with a roommate, who has allegedly confessed to butchering the woman.
The harrowing discovery was made earlier this week at the Coffin Butte Landfill in Corvallis following a grueling search in the summer heat for 49-year-old Kara Taylor, who had been missing since late July.
“Our detectives searched the landfill for about three days — 35 to 40 hours,” said Oregon City Police Capt. David Edwins, according to station KPIC. “They moved approximately 4,000 to 7,000 tons of equipment with the help of the landfill company.”
The dig turned up body parts that investigators said matched Taylor’s DNA, reported station KOIN.

Apple’s excuse for deplatforming a DECADE of Glenn’s content is INSUFFICIENT
A day after Apple removed every episode of the Glenn Beck Program and Glenn Beck Podcast from Apple Podcasts, Glenn still hasn’t received a good explanation.
According to Apple, which restored only 1,915 episodes out of over 3,000 after the story went viral on Elon Musk’s X, the podcast was deplatformed due to a trademark dispute.
But Glenn explains why he believes that makes no sense, especially since the dispute was quickly resolved back in June. Plus,
Glenn reads an excerpt from his new book, “Dark Future,” that explains why this is yet another example of the elitist “you will own nothing” system. And he thanks the many people — on the left and the right — who stood up with him.
A NATIONAL DISGRACE: Photos Leaked of Horrific January 6 Prisoner Abuse – Where are the ACLU, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch?

January 6 political prisoner Ryan Samsel has been held in prison without trial now since January 2021.
During his two-and-a-half years without trial Ryan has been moved around to 17 different facilities. Ryan has been beaten, abused, tortured, and neglected since his arrest in January 2021.
Earlier this week The Gateway Pundit received exclusive photos from Ryan Samsel’s prison cell at the FDC in Philadelphia.
The cell was a size of a closet with a light on all of the time. The cell had a thin blue mattress, no sheets or blankets, no clothing, and he was kept here for five months straight.

Biden administration considering plea deals for 9/11 mastermind and 4 co-conspirators that would shield them from death penalty

The Associated Press gained possession of a letter that was sent to several families of the victims of the terrorist attacks, which provided notice that a plea deal could soon be negotiated. In the letter the FBI and the Pentagon advised the families that a plea deal could eliminate the possibility of the death penalty for the suspects.
“The Office of the Chief Prosecutor has been negotiating and is considering entering into pre-trial agreements,” the letter reportedly said.
It also allegedly told families that while no plea agreement “has been finalized, and may never be finalized, it is possible that a [pre-trial agreements] in this case would remove the possibility of the death penalty.”
The letter was dated August 1, 2023, and gave recipients until August 21, 2023 to reply to the FBI’s victim services division with any comments or questions about a possible plea agreement.

Buffalo shooting survivors sue social media giants they argue ‘addicted,’ ‘radicalized’ killer gunman

They allege that YouTube – as well as its parent companies Alphabet Inc. and Google – and Reddit contributed to the “radicalization” of Payton Gendron, who was 18 years old when he opened fire at the Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo on May 14, 2022.
Ten people were killed, all of them Black, and three others were wounded. Authorities said Gendron drove 200 miles from his home in Conklin, New York, after conducting online research to choose a target.
“The kind of design features and recommendation algorithms used by these websites have a well-documented tendency to addict teenagers, amplify hateful conspiracy theories, radicalize young men to extremism, and promote gun violence. This is precisely what happened here,” Everytown Law wrote.
“The shooter was addicted to these websites, and these websites radicalized him against the Black community and equipped him with the knowledge he needed to execute his horrific plans,” according to the complaints. “These websites’ design features and algorithms shepherded him along the path of radicalization and taught him how to obtain military-grade armaments like his body armor, modify his weapon to enable its semi-automatic firing capacity, and conduct a military-style assault operation with deadly efficiency.”
Long Island cop takes down gunslinging suspect with fender side swipe on video

Officers arrived and found a 31-year-old Brooklyn man, Kiber Calderon, who also uses the identity of a 33-year-old woman named Hanna Carillo, waving a pistol in the middle of the street around 2:20 p.m., allegedly aiming it at drivers and responding officers.
Calderon was arrested twice in June in New York City but released under a “no-bail” policy, Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder said during a news briefing Wednesday.
County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who praised his department as the “most professional” in the country, said he was “pleased” with the actions of a quick-thinking officer who used a patrol SUV to knock down the suspect, causing only minor injuries and ending the crisis.
Ohio teen intentionally crashed car into brick wall to kill boyfriend, friend

“Her actions were controlled, methodical, deliberate, intentional and purposeful. This was not reckless driving.
This was murder,” Cuyahoga County Judge Nancy Margaret Russo said of 19-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla.
Shirilla broke into sobs after the judge found her guilty of four counts of murder and other charges for the deaths of her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, 20, and his friend, Davion Flanagan, 19.
The judge said that the most significant piece of evidence against Shirilla was the “chilling and tragic” surveillance footage that shows the moment she accelerates on Alameda Drive and slams her Toyota Camry into the wall of a commercial buildin
Hurricane Hilary intensifying, to deluge California, Nevada and Arizona

The storm is forecast to approach the Baja Peninsula of California on Saturday, and direct a plume of flooding rains into southern California, Nevada and Arizona from this weekend into early next week.
On Thursday morning, the National Hurricane Center cautioned that Hilary’s movement in relation to the shape of the Baja California peninsula makes it “nearly impossible” to predict if the center of the storm will move inland, which would cause its winds to slacken before reaching the southwestern U.S.
Thursday morning, the NWS office in San Diego said heavy rains look like they are now locked into the forecast: “Regardless of the exact track, it will bring a substantial surge of moisture into portions of southern California with a high potential for heavy rainfall and flash flooding.”

Ukraine struggles to curb corruption in its military

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has fired all regional military recruitment chiefs due to allegations of widespread graft. Ahead of the drastic move, all recruitment offices in Ukraine had been audited.
According to the State Investigation Bureau, a total of 112 criminal cases were opened against representatives of recruitment offices, with 33 cases of suspected misconduct and 15 lawsuits launched.
This is not the president’s first attempt to tackle corruption in Ukraine. In recent weeks, several recruitment heads were mired in scandals.
The former military commissioner of Odesa, Yevhen Borisov, for example, is accused of having accepted bribes and thereby amassed the equivalent of several million euros since the beginning of the war against Russia.
According to media reports, Borisov is also alleged to have purchased luxury real estate in Spain, and expensive cars for relatives. He was dismissed from his post and arrested when these allegations surfaced.
Taliban Bans Political Parties In Afghanistan After Declaring Them Un-Islamic

Afghanistan’s hard-line Islamist Taliban rulers have banned all political parties, saying there is “no justification” for them under Shari’a law.
“Political parties are banned completely, we will not permit any political party to operate in the country,” Abdul Hakim Sharaee, the Taliban’s de facto justice minister, said during a news conference on August 16, one day after the Taliban marked two years of rule since international troops withdrew from the country.
“Political parties have no justification in Islamic Shari’a law and they are not in the best interest of our nation,” he added, claiming political parties have been the main factor causing turmoil in Afghanistan for decades.
The ban is the latest Taliban restriction on political activities after dozens of political parties were registered after the militants were ousted in 2001 from their previous stint as rulers.

The exact reasons for the arrests and the whereabouts of the detainees have not been disclosed and officials have not commented publicly on the matter.

Tenerife wildfire ‘most complex’ to hit Spain’s Canary Islands in 40 years

The fire, which broke out late on Tuesday, has been raging through a forested area with steep ravines in the northeastern part of the island which is part of the Spanish archipelago that lies off the coast of northwestern Africa.
So far, the blaze, which has a perimeter of 30 kilometres (19 miles), has destroyed more than 2,600 hectares (6,400 acres), affecting some 7,600 people, many of whom were evacuated, the authorities said in a morning update.
Early on Thursday, people were evacuated from 10 small villages and hamlets in the area, they said, while also ordering residents to remain in their homes as a precautionary measure in La Esperanza, some five kilometres from the island’s northern airport, Tenerife Norte.
There was no immediate reports of flights being affected.
IFEX Report: Confronting Media Challenges Amid Taliban Control in Afghanistan

Media outlets risk closure, while journalists could be imprisoned for defying new restrictions, like criticizing Taliban policies or violating their rules, such as the music ban, mixed-gender workplaces, and specific attire guidelines.
Under heightened oppressive conditions, journalists face serious consequences for covering sensitive topics or criticizing the Taliban. They experience intimidation, imprisonment, surveillance, threats to families, and pressure to alter their reporting.
This has resulted in self-censorship, avoidance of certain subjects, and adapting reporting to align with authorities’ views to ensure personal safety and outlet survival.

New police testimony + peer-reviewed literature both show vaccines ARE causing SIDS: No doubt about it!

A police officer in a town of 350,000 investigated 3 to 4 SIDS cases a month for the past 7 years. She realized early in the process that gathering vaccine data was useful. So she has 7 years worth of data and it shows that over half the cases happened within 1 week from a vaccine.
That is statistically impossible if the vaccines are not causing SIDS.
You can see Ben Tapper talk about her and her direct testimony.

DEAD IN A DAY – The global failure of police and justice systems – 1.6 million “dead in day” of a C19 injection” globally – over 40,000 “dead in a day” in the US

Following the news here and here around deaths of babies, it begs the question, there are almost 36,000 deaths reported in to VAERS from around the world and over 50,000 deaths reported to the European equivalent EUDRA .
The number of deaths and injuries (injuries that turn into deaths) is under-reported by a factor that could be, optimistically, 20 for deaths and a high end of maybe 100 for injuries.
Note that the propensity to report deaths and injuries from injections probably reduces the further away from the date of the injection.
The number of doses administered in the US plus EU = 676 million plus 981 million = 1.66 billion doses out of 13.50 billion doses administered globally – that makes US plus EU doses around one eighth of global doses.
Zelensky Holds Court With Ukraine’s Most Notorious Neo-Nazi

Western media has dismissed evidence of neo-Nazi influence in Ukraine by citing President Zelensky’s Jewish heritage.
But new footage published by Zelensky shows the leader openly collaborating with a fascist ideologue who once pledged to “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led Untermenschen.”
On August 14, just over an hour after Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced another $200 million in military aid to Kiev, Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelensky published the video depicting what he called an “open conversation” with Ukraine’s 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
But in spite of Biletsky’s rich Nazi pedigree, the video Zelensky published shows him sharing a moment of bonhomie with a white nationalist militant who has described Jews as “our enemy,” or as the “real masters” of the oligarchs and craven politicians that have corrupted Ukraine.
NATO Official Suggests Ukraine Could Give Up Territory to End War

Stian Jenssen, the chief of staff for NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, floated the possibility of Ukraine giving up territory during a Tuesday panel discussion in Arendal, Norway.
“I think that a solution could be for Ukraine to give up territory,” Mr. Jenssen said, according to Norway’s Verdens Gang newspaper.
Mr. Jenssen went on to say that any peace terms will ultimately have to be agreeable to Ukraine, which has relied heavily on the assistance of the NATO alliance. The NATO official also suggested the alliance could offer membership to Ukraine as part of a deal if it does give up its territory.

How Jack Smith Is Twisting Our Election Process

If Special Counsel Jack Smith has his way, election integrity as we know it will be a thing of the past, and all election results in the future will be suspect.
I’ve got a particular interest in election integrity. As the leader of Tea Party Patriots Action, I’ve spent the better part of the last two and a half years traveling the country, training tens of thousands of citizens for work as election officials and poll workers.
Our work has been necessitated by the doubts raised about election integrity in recent election cycles. Poll after poll demonstrates Americans’ distrust of our elections. Our hope is that we can help reestablish the public confidence in elections necessary for them to function as they must — to allow the electorate to exercise its right to choose our leaders.
Ending the use of free speech and vigorous debate to contest and challenge the results of elections will be the inevitable result of this political persecution of Trump. If Smith is successful, political leaders in the future will be so scared of potential criminal charges being brought against them for exercising their lawful, civil right to challenge election results that they will simply keep their mouths shut and let questionable election results go unchallenged.

America First Legal files amicus brief with AZ Supreme Court in Abe Hamadeh election contest

“The amicus filed by America First Legal explains to the Arizona Supreme Court why it should take the case and order the trial court to give Hamadeh a new trial,” the legal group wrote in a statement. “This is the only way to ensure that all the lawful votes in this race are counted.”
Earlier this month, Hamadeh filed a special action with the state’s high court, requesting a new trial in connection with his November 2022 election.
A judge last month rejected Hamadeh’s bid for a new election trial. He narrowly lost his bid for state attorney general in 2022 and has been challenging the results of the election.
Hamadeh and the Republican National Committee sued his opponent, Democratic Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, to ensure all votes were counted in the contest, which Hamadeh lost by just 280 votes, according to an automatic statewide recount.
Socialist candidate elected parliamentary speaker, possibly paving way for new leftist govt

Thursday’s session was widely seen as a trial run ahead of a crucial investiture vote — which determines who forms the government — after an inconclusive July election.
Francina Armengol, 52, was named parliamentary speaker — the third-highest office in Spain after the king and the prime minister — with an absolute majority of 178 votes in the 350-seat chamber.
Her election was secured following a last-minute deal with the hardline Catalan separatist party JxCat, which has been cast in the role of kingmaker.
During the July polls, neither the left nor the right won enough seats to constitute a working majority of 176 mandates — with each side only able to amass the cross-party support of 171 lawmakers.

Exclusive: Georgia State Senator Takes First Step to Impeach Trump’s Fulton County Prosecutor

In a letter to Gov. Brian Kemp (R), Moore announced an initiative to begin an emergency session to conduct a thorough investigation into the actions undertaken by Willis.
The lawmaker’s investigation could lead to defunding Willis’s investigation of Trump and/or ultimately impeaching the district attorney.
“We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis,” Moore said in a statement.
“As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis,” he said. “America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors weaponize their elected offices to politically target their opponents.”

Hunter Biden CC’d On Call Between Then-VP Joe And Former Ukraine President

Previously released emails retrieved from Hunter’s abandoned laptop reveal that Biden used a “Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov” email address while he was serving as Vice President of the United States. What’s more, that Biden aide John Flynn cc’d Hunter on 10 emails which contained Joe’s daily schedule between May 19 and June 15, 2016.
One of the emails details plans for a phone call with Ukraine’s former president, Petro Poroshenko.
Flynn copied Hunter at his email address at Rosemont Seneca Partners – while Hunter was serving on the board of Ukrainian energy giant, Burisma, which was deemed to be corrupt by the Obama-Biden State Department.
“Boss–8:45am prep for 9am phone call with Pres Poroshenko. Then we’re off to Rhode Island for infrastructure event and then Wilmington for UDel commencement,” Flynn wrote. “Nate will have your draft remarks delivered later tonight or with your press clips in the morning.”
The House Oversight Committee request primarily is focused on Hunter’s $1 million per year position on the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma, which hired the then-second son in early 2014 as his dad assumed control of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.
But the broad request for records involving the president’s pseudonyms could turn up a variety of content, including about other Biden family ventures in countries such as China. –NY Post
House, Senate Republicans team up to crack down on FTC for destroying documents related to congressional probe

In May, the FTC informed House Judiciary Committee staff that it had “deleted material likely responsive to the Committee’s requests,” including records of the employee on detail from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau who led the FTC’s rulemaking.
“The FTC’s deletion of documents responsive to a Congressional inquiry underscores the OIG’s conclusion in 2022 that ‘the FTC has not prioritized records management nor embedded it as a value in the agency’s culture,’” the top Republicans wrote.
“Moreover, it suggests that the agency is not committed to complying with the law, and that it may continue to delete records that are relevant to ongoing investigations. This is not how a federal agency should be run,” they wrote.
Comer demands National Archives fork over unredacted emails involving Hunter Biden, Ukraine, Burisma

The committee is seeking unrestricted special access to a case record by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), titled, “Email Messages To and/or From Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden.”
The record was first made public in June and included four emails, but two of the emails were withheld in full, and the other two had multiple redactions.
According to NARA, the two email messages that were released, dated May 27, 2016, and June 15, 2016, were from then-Biden aide John Flynn to Biden, with Hunter Biden as a carbon copied recipient, and they included an attached copy of Biden’s daily schedule listing planned interactions with Ukrainian government officials.

“They’ve now scheduled this first trial on the day before Super Tuesday – whe[n] 15 states plus American Samoa are going to go vote,” Whitaker said on “Hannity.”
“What Gregg [Jarrett] is saying is absolutely right,” Whitaker later added.
“This is all planned and coordinated in order to try to prevent Donald Trump from being strong enough to win the election in November.”
Jarrett, a Fox News legal analyst, opined that prosecutors like Willis are hoping to convict Trump or at least “sully [him] sufficiently to enable Joe Biden to win.”
