In The News Today:
Dad of special needs student allegedly beaten by Las Vegas school bus driver breaks silence

Records show Clark County prosecutors are seeking to indict a former school bus driver accused of assaulting a student with autism.
The child’s father, William Becker, said his 10-year-old son has experienced a downward spiral since the incident, which has kept him out of the classroom for more than a year.
“It’s just real hard for him. He just doesn’t know what to do with himself any more,” Becker said.
Online court records show Tovar’s case was dismissed in Las Vegas Justice Court in October of 2023, and prosecutors are now pursuing a grand jury indictment.
Elise Stefanik Gives Master Class On Refuting Democrats’ ‘Insurrection’ Lies

At the beginning of “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker’s interview with Stefanik, Welker played a deceptively edited clip from Jan. 6, 2021.
Stefanik refused to take the bait, responding, “Well, first of all, Kristen, as typical for NBC and the biased media, you played one excerpt of my speech…
Stefanik also expressed “concerns about the treatment of January 6 hostages,” and the “weaponization of the federal government against not just President Trump, but [all] conservatives.”
“So the real threat to our democracy is these baseless witch hunt investigations and lawsuits against President Trump,” Stefanik added.
Man who attacked Las Vegas judge faces her again for sentencing

Judge Mary Kay Holthus had ordered Deobra Redden, 30, to appear in court “by any and all means necessary” for the interrupted sentencing hearing’s continuance as the 8 News Now Investigators first reported.
Redden, who was sentenced from 19 months to four years on an attempted battery charge, appeared in the courtroom wearing a mask and surrounded by court marshals as two Metro police officers held onto him. Before sentencing Redden, Holthus said she did not modify or change her decision on his sentence because of the attack.
After leaping over the bench, Redden allegedly slammed Holthus’ head against a wall, struck her once on the head, and pulled some hair out of her head, documents said.
Fauci to testify before Congress on COVID origins, pandemic response

The House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic said the two day closed-door, transcribed interview will take place on Jan. 8 and 9. Fauci will face questions on the origins of COVID-19, vaccine mandates and how to prevent something like the COVID-19 pandemic from happening again. It will be Fauci’s first appearance before the Republican-controlled House.
Fauci, who served as the nation’s top infectious disease expert before retiring at the end of 2022, will also testify in front of the panel later this year, with the date still to be determined.
Subcommittee Chair Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, told The Hill this interview will serve as an “after action review” of the federal government’s actions during the public health emergency for COVID-19.
Lawmakers to hold hearing on ‘woke ideologies’ influencing the military

Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs Chairman Glenn Grothman, R-Wisc., will host the hearing.
“The men and women who bravely serve within the military must stay focused on combat readiness, not left-wing objectives which serve no military purpose,” Grothman said in a statement. “It is imperative to extract this poisonous and unhelpful thinking from our military and return the armed services to their core functions.”
A laundry list of controversial examples of military spending have fueled these concerns including DOD funding for drag shows, as well as training members on things like white privilege and pronoun usage.
Elon Musk bashes Wall Street Journal over hit piece intimating link between drug use and his ‘contrarian views’

In his characteristic “contrarian” and “unfiltered” style — which the Journal insinuated might have something to do with drugs — Musk responded by belittling the publication and suggesting its effort was yet another attempt to “destroy X.”
Unlike the smoking incident on the Rogan podcast, which reportedly prompted random drug testing at SpaceX for at least a year, there does not appear to be any certifiable evidence or admission of drug use on the occasions referenced in the article. That has not, however, stopped anonymous sources from speculating.
While the Journal made passing mention of the possibilities that Musk might alternatively suffer sleep deprivation, Asperger’s, and/or bipolar disorder — all three of which he has laid claim to — it did not admit the possibility that the billionaire has come honestly by a worldview and style that is unfavorable to leftists and establishmentarians alike.
Tech leaders building city in California ‘not at all’ worried about public backlash or accusations of foreign ties, CEO says

An investment group, Flannery Associates, purchases 52,000 acres of land near Travis Air Force Base in Solano County. The identities of the group’s backers were largely unknown, which sparked concerns that buyers with ties to China or other foreign adversaries may have acquired the land.
An August New York Times report revealed that Silicon Valley tech investors were behind the mystery purchase. According to the group’s attorney, the investors acquired the land to “diversify their portfolio.” The backers included Andreessen Horowitz, Laurene Powell Jobs, Michael Moritz, Reid Hoffman, Patrick and John Collison, Daniel Gross, and Nat Friedman, the Times reported.
The moguls’ investment ignited a significant amount of backlash within the community.
John Kerry’s Climate office costs taxpayers $4.3M a year, yet he refuses to divulge names

It’s a rare glimpse into Kerry’s fiefdom that hits up taxpayers for $4.3 million in pay per year, according to records obtained using the Freedom of Information Act.
Kerry, however, does not reveal the names of anyone on his staff and redacts the titles of eight top aides paid up to $186,680 a year.
The 27 entries include brief titles — from “policy analyst” to “senior advisor” — and bi-weekly pay. It’s unclear if Kerry is on the list. Kerry’s Climate website does list Rick Duke and Sue Biniaz as as deputy special envoys, yet the FOIA release does not.
Anti-Israel protesters block traffic at three NYC bridges, Holland Tunnel

Demonstrators from the “Shut it Down for Palestine” rally marched through City Hall Park before groups of them descended on the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges and tunnel around 10 a.m., wreaking havoc as they shut down at least sections of the major travel thoroughfares for about an hour.
“You can’t do that! It’s against the law,” an agitated motorist yelled at some of the protesters as he tried in vain to make a left onto the Manhattan Bridge from the Bowery, while another man filming the confrontation with his phone shouted, “Hit ’em all! Run ’em over!”
The driver then got out of his vehicle and shoved three of the demonstrators, warning them to stay away from his car as he screamed, “I have a daughter in Brooklyn! … I have to get home!”
Censorship Investigation | Full Measure
It’s election year. This is the fifth presidential election campaign since Twitter and Facebook were created. And with each election cycle, efforts to manipulate the election through social media have become more heavy-handed.
It’s no longer just about putting out a message. It’s about stopping certain voices from being heard and certain facts from getting told.
The First Amendment limits the government’s role in monitoring and censoring American speech. But a Congressional committee has found evidence of the government and its partners veering far beyond Constitutional guardrails, with help from a growing censorship-industrial complex.

WATCH: Titans Fans Brawl in Wild Parking Lot Fight

As is almost always the case, it’s hard to know precisely what prompted the fisticuffs. However, some of the heated words exchanged during the scrum suggest the insulting of a woman may have set it off.
Unfortunately, one of the females who tried to intervene in the scrap took some hits. It is not uncommon to see people fight at NFL games. It is odd to see both combatants with gray hair.
The two were separated at one point but managed to get around the peacemakers and continue the battle. This was not a fair fight.
War with Hezbollah Looms as Blinken Visits Israel

Over the weekend, Hezbollah had launched a rocket attack on an Israeli base on Mount Meron, in northern Israel — a serious escalation of its attacks.
In return, Israel attacked a Hezbollah command post in southern Lebanon, killing a major commander, reportedly Wissam al-Tawil (or “Jawad”) of the “elite” Radwan force.
Israel has warned Hezbollah for weeks not to open a second front in the war, as it battled Hamas terrorists in Gaza. As the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has dismantled more and more of Hamas’s military capabilities, Hezbollah has faced more pressure to act.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his government’s warnings to Hezbollah, the Times of Israel reported:
$1.59 Trillion Spending Deal Is An Excuse to Expand Bureaucracy And Appeal To Democrats
America First Policy Institute Chief Economist Michael Faulkender blasts House Republicans for cutting a deal with Democrats and approving the new government spending bill.
Faulkender says the new deal doesn’t slash wasteful spending or ease interest rates, but instead “passes the buck” for another year.

BOMBSHELL: 200 Undercover FBI Assets at US Capitol on Jan. 6, Congressman Estimates

Higgins appeared on the Tucker Carlson Network for an interview that aired Saturday, the third anniversary of the day now commonly known as J6. He’s among the few elected Republicans still questioning the official media narrative about the day’s events.
“Given the scope of the operation and the number of doors where entry was allowed or even encouraged—and the number of people that were actually outside the Capitol and that entered—we believe 200 [is a] conservative number,” Higgins said of his estimate.
Carlson reacted with alarm.
Ohio teacher suffered ‘major brain injury’ in attack by drug-fueled student: police

The 15-year-old student at Colerain High School in Cincinnati acted “distraught” after he “ingested an unknown drug” Thursday afternoon before allegedly hitting the teacher, WLWT 5 reported, based on a police report.
The 60-year-old teacher was rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she had her skull cap removed to prevent damage from swelling, according to Fox 19.
The student reportedly also suffered a “self-inflicted” head injury and fought another student, according to WLWT 5.
Jeffrey Epstein files: Photos of young girls on private island emerge in latest doc dump

Maxwell and Giuffre reached a settlement in the case in 2017. The new filings show that afterward, Maxwell’s lawyers sought a court order telling Giuffre’s side to return confidential documents that had been turned over in the discovery process.
The term “massage” within Epstein’s orbit was a code word for sex, according to Ransome, and the many girls he employed as masseuses were trafficking victims.
She also said she witnessed Epstein having sex with the model turned pilot Nadia Marcinkova on his plane in plain view.

Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko was ‘core shareholder,’ part of Hunter Biden-led Burisma subsidiary

Klitschko’s little-known links to the first son — including through the subsidiary, Burisma Geothermal — opens a new angle in the impeachment inquiry into alleged Biden family corruption and makes the mayor of Ukraine’s capital, who met with then-Vice President Biden in 2015 while working with his son, a potential witness to key details studied by House investigators.
It also raises volatile new questions for the US-Ukraine relationship as President Biden asks Congress for another $61.4 billion in aid to fend off Russia’s almost two-year-year invasion — despite Republican resistance and demands for enhanced oversight.
Klitschko has had a stormy relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and is considered a possible challenger to him in the country’s next election — adding even greater complexity to a political scandal.

Farmers Revolt! Tractor Protests Bring Germany to Standstill over Government’s Globalist Agenda

Farmers groups launched their planned week-long action to protest against the leftist coalition government’s plans to increase taxes on diesel fuel and eliminate the car tax exemption for farmers in addition to making deep cuts on the subsidies for the farming sector.
The proposed tax increases and funding cuts came as the government attempted to fill a 17-billion-euro ($18.6-billion) hole in the budget for 2024.
Ahead of the planned week of protests from farmers, the government said that it would be willing to walk back some of the farming subsidy cuts and re-organise the tax increases over the next three years. However, the German Farmers’ Association (DBV) said that such moves would be insufficient to stave off the economic disaster facing many farmers throughout the country.
House Freedom Caucus calls Speaker Johnson’s proposed spending deal with Schumer ‘total failure’

“It’s even worse than we thought,” the caucus wrote. “Don’t believe the spin. Once you break through typical Washington math, the true total programmatic spending level is $1.658 trillion — not $1.59 trillion. This is total failure.”
At the end of last month, the Freedom Caucus released a statement titled, “House GOP’s New Year Resolution Must Be Cutting Spending,” which stated that the U.S. is “on the path to fiscal ruin” but that Congress has “done little to force a course correction from this calamity.”
With a slim Republican majority, the 45-member Freedom Caucus holds a significant amount of sway in the 435-member House, and most recently played an integral role in deciding the House speaker.
‘Vaccine victims’ claim they are being censored by social media sites

People who were left with life-changing injuries after being given the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid jab claim they have been censored while trying to speak out on social media about their symptoms.
They believe they are vaccine victims who suffered a number of severe reactions, including a father-of-two who formed a blood clot after being given the vaccine in spring 2021 causing a permanent brain injury.
The man is in the process of suing the pharmaceutical giant at the High Court in London over the injury, while the widower of a woman who died from the jab has also brought a claim.
