Reports Surface of Establishment Preparing Military Coup Against Trump if Re-elected

Mary McCord, Executive Director of the Institution for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection at Georgetown Law, told NBC News about ongoing efforts to prepare legal strategies against potentially damaging actions by Trump. These preparations reportedly involve assembling a team to anticipate Trump’s moves and to be ready to file lawsuits if necessary.

On the other hand, Republicans have criticized these plans. Fox News contributor Molly Hemingway, in a Twitter post, described the NBC report as suggesting a dangerous and unconstitutional move to undermine civilian control of the military. Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, echoed this sentiment in his Twitter comment, accusing Democrats of planning to use the military to interfere in the 2024 election, a move he deems immoral.

Mollie Hemingway, a contributor to The Federalist, responded to the NBC report by stating, “NBC reports the left is plotting ways to have military not be under civilian control. This dangerous and unconstitutional usurpation of power is being framed by NBC as good because it will undermine Trump if he is freely and fairly elected by Americans.”

Tennessee Lawmakers Propose Legislation Banning Banks, Credit Card Companies from Tracking Purchases of Guns and Ammo

Warner (pictured above, left) filed HB 1784 and Hensley (pictured above, right) filed SB 1702 to make it “an unfair or deceptive trade practice” for any “financial institution to require a firearms retailer to use firearms-specific transaction codes” after the industry began creating a new credit card merchant category code for purchases of firearms and ammunition, which they claimed would help identify dangerous gun owners or suspicious transactions.

Payment processors announced plans to track firearm transactions in 2022, less than one week after New York Attorney General Letitia James and California Attorney General Rob Bonta sent letters to chief executives of American Express, Mastercard, and Visa that requested they support a new merchant category code for guns and ammunition. The new merchant code plan was gained the immediate opposition of the National Rifle Association and National Shooting Sports Foundation.

The industry’s move to adopt new firearms merchant codes was previously paused in March 2023, when payment companies including American Express, Mastercard, and Visa abandoned their plans after legislation banning tracking of those who buy and sell weapons and ammunition passed in Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, and West Virginia. The Tenth Amendment Center notes that similar legislation also exists in Idaho, North Dakota, and Montana.

EU-Funded “Disinformation” Analysis Unit Complains That Big Tech Isn’t Doing Enough To Censor

Now, one of the apparent “nodes” in this EDMO “community” is something called the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN).

Is EFCSN, then, a bona fide “voice of European fact-checkers who uphold and promote the highest standards of fact-checking and media literacy” – as it claims – or just another way for EU to obfuscate its policies, including those bent on narrative control and open censorship?

Let the footnote on the EFCSN site speak for itself: it is “supported by the European Union under the 2020 work program on the financing of Pilot Projects and Preparatory Actions in the field of ‘Communications Networks, Content and Technology’.”

United Airlines drag queen CEO accused of mocking religious exemptions to Covid vax

It has been revealed that United Airlines‘ CEO Scott Kirby allegedly mocked those seeking religious exemptions from the company’s strict Covid-19 vaccine mandate, and proposed treating those who had been granted special accommodation differently than those who got the jab.

Kirby reportedly even went so far as to suggest that religiously exempt employees should have to wear a special symbol on their badges, however that idea was struck down by United’s lawyers.

According to documents filed this weekend as part of a larger lawsuit against the airline, from the outset of the airline’s mandate, Kirby “threatened employees to ‘be very careful about’ requesting such accommodations because ‘very few’ people would ‘get through the medical and religious exemption process’.”

Just-released Jan. 6 videos show Capitol Police officer lied in Oath Keepers trial, Blaze Media investigative journalist says

Baker penned an analysis in October calling into question Lazarus’ testimony — which helped convict the Oath Keepers — noting that time-stamped CCTV videos Blaze News observed show Lazarus in other parts of the Capitol complex at the time he said he witnessed now-former Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn interacting with Oath Keepers on Jan. 6.

Baker and others could view the Jan. 6 videos only on Washington, D.C., House subcommittee terminals in a limited and restricted capacity. What’s more, at the time of Baker’s Oct. 4 analysis, Blaze News was permitted to publish only a single Jan. 6 screenshot of Lazarus in the Capitol after then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted the previous day, putting video permissions on hold.

By early November, U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Georgia) released multiple Jan. 6 video screenshots of Lazarus’ movements in the Capitol, telling Baker in a statement that he did so because “an allegation of a Capitol Police officer lying under oath is very serious and must be fully investigated.”

This doesn’t look like someone who could rip the U.S. military off for more than $100 MILLION. But prosecutors say she did just that.

A Texas woman faces nearly 150 years in prison after she defrauded the US Army out of $100 million, allegedly using the funds to purchase over 30 homes, luxury cars and jewelry through the seven-year-long scheme.

Janet Mello worked as “a civilian financial program manager at Fort Sam Houston” and reportedly developed a program called “Child Health and Youth Lifelong Development,” one that “provided services to military members and their families through the 4-H program.”

The IRS took notice of Mello’s doings when she submitted business filings that indicated “a $483 profit on a $2,152 revenue.”

Upon investigation, law enforcement allegedly learned that she “purchased 31 different real estate properties in Colorado, Maryland, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington,” a total of 78 vehicles, and “millions of dollars worth of jewelry.” One of her properties was valued at $3.1 million.

Chinese scientists ‘create’ a mutant coronavirus strain that attacks the BRAIN and has a 100% kill rate in mice

Chinese scientists have been experimenting with a mutant coronavirus strain that is 100 percent lethal in mice — despite concerns such research could spark another pandemic.

Scientists in Beijing — who are linked to the Chinese military — cloned a Covid-like virus found in pangolins, known as GX_P2V, and used it to infect mice.

The mice had been ‘humanized’, meaning they were engineered to express a protein found in people, with the goal being to assess how the virus might react in humans.

Prospects of regional conflagration; Geo-Strategic Assessment – Israel At War, Jerusalem Studio 826

Israeli Intelligence, its failure to warn ahead of the October 7 attack that Hamas will launch an offensive, correctly described a scenario in which Israel has to deal with simultaneous military challenges from several Iranian-directed fronts.

It came to pass when Hezbollah, the Houthis and Syrian and Iraqi militias joined the fight, the latter also hitting American targets.

For some 100-odd days, a vast regional conflagration was averted, but this could change in the coming days and weeks. Who are the players and what are the prospects?

Appeals Court Rejects Bid to Keep Trump’s X Records Private

A federal appellate court on Tuesday rejected a request that special counsel Jack Smith be blocked from accessing former President Donald Trump’s X feed.

A split panel of U.S. Court of Appeals for Washington D.C., issued the ruling against the social media company’s effort to appeal Smith’s search warrant and denied further review. Another appellate panel had rejected Trump’s original request.

The current clear front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, Trump can ask the Supreme Court to review the matter.

Farmer Revolution: Globalist Gov’t Must Go, German Protesters Demand as Farmers Issue Deadline to Sholz

Culminating a week of nationwide demonstrations in which thousands of farmers took to their tractors to shut down typically busy highways and the thoroughfares of major cities, an estimated 5,000 tractors, trucks and over 10,000 people crowded into the centre of Berlin on Monday.

The protests were sparked by the left-wing coalition government’s decision to solve a budget crisis with cuts to agricultural subsidies and eliminating tax exemptions for farmers on diesel, a measure that has been in place for over 70 years.

Meanwhile, the government not only refused to cut any aid to Ukraine, it doubled down on propping up the proxy war effort against Russia, vowing to double payments to Kyiv this year to eight billion euros.

Prosecutors: Chicago Woman Left Brain Dead After Eight-Time Felon Attacked Her on Train

Chicago Police Department

Johnson was apparently caught on surveillance footage allegedly trying to swipe the woman’s bag as she rode the Red Line train on January 4.

He is accused of repeatedly hitting her in the head and stomach and stomping on her body before leaving the train.

The CWB Chicago report noted that “Prosecutors also charged him with violating an order of protection for allegedly entering a 27-year-old Old Town woman’s residence on New Year’s Eve after being ordered to stay away.”

The suspect’s parole came in August after he served a portion of time for robbing a covert narcotics officer in 2021. At the time, he was on parole for aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer.

Social media users commented on the report, one person writing, “You get what you vote for Chicago!!!”

According to Cerezo’s niece, Josie Ramirez, he was so happy during the party, which included all of his loved ones, that he cried.

Exclusive — MTG: Brian Kemp Opposes Criminally Investigating Fani Willis for Corruption

Anna Moneymaker, Elijah Nouvelage/Getty Images

Kemp and Georgia Attorney General Christopher Carr are seeking to use the state’s oversight committee to investigate Willis for her alleged improper relationship with a top prosecutor in their case against former President Donald Trump, according to Greene.

The committee operates like a disciplinary commission with the power to remove county prosecutors from public office. As with all committees, they move very slowly and often are highly political.

The committee would not be ready for months to launch a probe, Greene said. Meanwhile, Greene added, Willis’s prosecution is drying up Trump and fellow codefendants’ resources.

Los Angeles Police Department Wants to Give Badges and Guns to Illegal Aliens

The state already passed a law in 2022 giving authorities the power to allow non-citizens qualified to work under President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) rules the ability to become police officers.

But that law did not authorize them to be armed because they are not qualified to be armed in civilian life, either, because they are not legal citizens.

The first graduate class of nine illegals will become sworn officers in 2024, according to Just the News.

‘A Bunch of Dead Robots:’ Frigid Chicago Temps Turn EV Charging Stations into ‘Car Graveyards’

Fox 32 Chicago/YouTube

Fox 32 reports that the recent wave of freezing temperatures in Chicago has taken a significant toll on EVs, causing an unusual scene at the Oak Brook Tesla Supercharging station.

This station, along with many others around the Chicago area, has been crowded with dead Teslas, as owners face difficulties in charging their vehicles.

Beard’s experience was not unique, as many others at the Oak Brook station faced similar issues, leading to long lines and abandoned cars. The situation was summarized by another Tesla owner, Chalis Mizelle, who abandoned her car and had to seek alternative transportation: “This is crazy. It’s a disaster. Seriously.”

The US strikes the Yemen-based Houthis again, hitting anti-ship missiles, a US official says

The U.S. launched a new strike against the Yemen-based Houthis on Tuesday, hitting anti-ship missiles in the third assault on the Iranian-backed group in recent days, a U.S. official said.

The strike came as the Iranian-backed Houthis claimed responsibility for a missile attack against the Malta-flagged bulk carrier Zografia in the Red Sea. No one was injured. The vessel had been heading north to the Suez Canal when it was attacked, the Greek Shipping and Island Policy Ministry said.

This latest exchange suggested there has been no let-up in Houthi attacks on shipping in the region, despite the massive U.S. and British assault on the group on Friday, bombing more than 60 targets in 28 locations using warship- and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles and fighter jets.
