Meta let parents sell pics of their kids to pedophiles on Instagram: report

Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta allowed parents to exploit their children by having pedophiles to pay to see the children in bikinis and other skimpy outfits. Meta safety staff warned this was happening and the company pressed without taking proper action.
Staff at Meta safety last year warned the company that a subscription tool for “parent-managed minor accounts” was allowing parents to exploit their minor children for payment from pedophiles, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Content that was sold from these accounts, managed by many children’s own parents, had young girls dressed in bikinis and leotards.
This content was sold to an overwhelmingly male audience that had a sexual interest in the children presented when they communicated with the accounts.
Journalist arrested, hit with 14 federal crimes for allegedly hacking, leaking Fox News Tucker Carlson content

Ajournalist accused of leaking videos of former Fox News star Tucker Carlson was arrested in Florida on Thursday and hit with 14 federal charges.
Timothy Burke, 45, was charged with one count of conspiracy, six counts of accessing a protected computer without authorization, and seven counts of intercepting or disclosing wire, oral, or electronic communications. Burke faces up to 62 years in federal prison if convicted on all counts.
Burke was released on the condition that he severs contact with his alleged co-conspirator.
The Department of Justice stated that Burke and his co-conspirator “secured and used compromised credentials — usernames and passwords — to gain unauthorized access to protected computers owned or used by the victim entities.”
A Former Army Soldier Refuses to Stop Fighting for Military Accountability

After what he described as “an abrupt separation” from the Army, Wynne was left homeless, forcing him to apply for unemployment. “I couldn’t get unemployment because I didn’t have an Honorable discharge, [and] I couldn’t start a veteran-owned business for the same reason.”
On the one hand, he was unable to find work due to the unfavorable discharge. On the other, when potential employers would ask why he was ousted from the Army, he would have to share his objection to getting the COVID-19 shot, which he described as “a contentious issue” for many.
In addition, he could not utilize any education benefits available to most veterans. He also struggled to get a job because of the “serious offense” of refusing to get the jab. “The Army’s decision rippled outwards in immeasurable ways and my family felt every bit of it,” he lamented.
Wynne immediately filed for a discharge upgrade with the Army Discharge Review Board, expecting to wait approximately six months for the matter to be processed.
“When I didn’t hear anything, I reached out to local politicians,” he said. First, he sought help from Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) to no avail. Then, he reached out Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), state Rep. Steve Toth (R-TX), and state Rep. Briscoe Cain (R-TX) with similar results.

More Chinese migrants now crossing San Diego border than Mexican nationals: report

Thousands of Chinese nationals are being arrested for illegally crossing the besieged southern border near San Diego each week, presenting a significant security risk, according to sources.
Border agents have encountered 21,000 Chinese nationals illegally entering the US in just one border sector in California since October – a higher number than even Mexicans arrested, which numbered 18,700, according to information obtained by Fox News.
The number of Chinese nationals crossing into the US has exploded and in the 2023 fiscal year, which ended in September, CBP officials apprehended 24,048 Chinese migrants at the US-Mexico border — a record high.
That was over ten times the 1,970 arrests recorded in 2022 and a more than 7,000% increase from 2021 when just 323 Chinese nationals crossed the border during strict pandemic travel bans and lockdowns.
Fleet of Russian Tanks Spotted at Crimean Train Station, Guerrillas Report

Agents of the Atesh partisan movement documented the arrival of a substantial fleet of Russian tanks at the Yevpatoriya railway station in occupied Crimea, according to a post on their Telegram channel.
The partisans released pertinent videos, highlighting that “the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front are forcing the occupiers to deplete their reserves.”
These are Soviet-era tanks manufactured before 1975 and are now decommissioned in Russia.
In addition to their observations in Yevpatoriya, agents of the partisan movement conducted surveillance in the Crimean village of Hvardiiskе, where they uncovered the storage location of a range of Russian military equipment.
The guerrillas published relevant photos and videos documenting their findings.
Phone Records Appear To Contradict Key Element Of Fani Willis’ Testimony

Special prosecutor Nathan Wade appears to have visited Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ neighborhood at least 35 times in 2021, according to phone data referenced in a Friday court filing.
The data appears to contradict Willis’ denial that Wade ever spent the night at her place, and calls into question the timeline of when the relationship between Willis and Wade began. Both maintained the relationship began in 2022, but the phone records show Wade visiting Willis’ property multiple times in 2021.
The analysis also revealed “over 2000 voice calls and just under 12,000 text messages” exchanged between Willis and Wade during an 11-month period in 2021, which included a “prevalence of calls made in the evening hours.”
