Mr. President, pardon Steve Baker and the nonviolent J6 defendants on day 1

Steve Bakerโs trial was scheduled to begin Tuesday at the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington, D.C., but anyone expecting high legal drama was left disappointed. After last weekโs election, playing along with the farce would have been a waste of everyoneโs time and taxpayersโ money.
In a fairer world, federal prosecutors would have pondered the recent headlines and taken a sensible step back. Thatโs what special counsel Jack Smith did with his crusade against Donald Trump, who, Lord willing, will take the oath of office again on January 20.
โThe Government respectfully requests that the Court vacate the remaining deadlines in the pretrial schedule to afford the Government time to assess this unprecedented circumstance and determine the appropriate course going forward consistent with Department of Justice policy,โ Smith wrote last week. A district court judge readily agreed.
Bakerโs attorney, William Shipley, filed a motion on Sunday to delay his trial and revisit the case in February, citing Smith and the Justice Departmentโs new stance.
โTo deny this motion, in the face of the Justice Departmentโs official position,โ Shipley argued, โwould run contrary to the interests of justice and likely subject the defendant to criminal convictions for no purpose other than expediency.โ
Judge Christopher Cooper on Monday denied the motion, the โinterests of justiceโ be damned.
So Baker pled guilty Tuesday morning to all four misdemeanor counts against him. A trial would have been, in the words of one of his attorneys, โnothing more than a shaming exerciseโ in a court where the outcome is all but guaranteed.
Baker is scheduled to be sentenced on March 6 โ two months after Congress is supposed to certify Donald Trumpโs election. If that isnโt divine providence, nothing is.
The full story of what happened on January 6, 2021, has yet to be told. The House of Representativesโ farcical one-sided select committee sought to cement a narrative in which a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol at the behest of the president and tried to steal the election by preventing Congress from certifying the electoral vote. Itโs a tale so stupid only Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson could believe it.
Lingering questions nearly four years on lend themselves to conspiracy theories, which could be easily dispelled with a full and bipartisan accounting.
Maybe we can get a better idea of how many federal agents were in the crowd. We might learn whether some of those agents were sent to be provocateurs or if they were on hand simply to observe and report. Perhaps with Donald Trump back in the White House and Republicans in control of the House and Senate, we might get some added sunlight.
But before the reckoning, the January 6 defendants need a resolution. Trump promised pardons and clemency, and he needs to deliver on day one. He would set the tone for the next two years, demonstrating with the stroke of a pen thatย this time will be different. The administrative state would be on notice that their days of abusing of power with impunity are over…..
ย GOP Keeps Control of the House โ Republicans will Control All Three Branches of Government in Huge Sweep

The Republicans will keep control of the House of Representatives and control the Senate in a huge governmentwide sweep this election.
The US Supreme Court currently has 6 Conservative justices and 3 three liberal justices.
Republicans will control all three branches of government after Trump won the 2024 election in a landslide with huge down ballot victories.
Congressional races are still outstanding but Decision Desk HQ has projected the GOP to win the House with at least 218 seats as of Monday evening.
Reuters reported:
President-elect Donald Trumpโs Republican Party will control both houses of Congress when he takes office in January, Decision Desk HQ projected on Monday, enabling him to push an agenda of slashing taxes and shrinking the federal government.
Republicans had already secured a U.S. Senate majority of at least 52-46, Edison Research projected, and DDHQ projected they would hold at least 218 seats in the House of Representatives, with eight races yet to be called in Tuesdayโs election.
It appears Alaska GOP candidate Nick Begich has unseated Democrat Mary Peltola, however, AP still hasnโt called the race….

Well, well, well: the republic stands. And dumbstruck liberals can’t cope.

Jury awards $12.6 million to woman fired for not receiving COVID vaccine

A jury on Nov. 8 awarded Lisa Domski, a former employee of the company, $10 million in punitive damages.
Jurors also awarded $1 million in non-economic damages, $1.375 million in front pay damages, and $315,000 in back pay damages.
Jurors said that Blue Cross Blue Shield illegally discriminated against Domski when the company denied her request for an exemption from its policy requiring COVID-19 vaccination.
The company also illegally terminated Domski over the lack of COVID-19 vaccination, the jury found.
โLisa is so thankful that a diverse jury of her peers saw through the companyโs bogus decision to terminate her after 38 years of service. Clearly, the religious accommodation process was meant to stamp out religious beliefs of employees and promote COVID-19 vaccination within the company,โ Noah S. Hurwitz, an attorney representing Domski, told The Epoch Times in an email.
According to Domskiโs attorneys, because she worked from home, the company could have accommodated her safely. They said Blue Cross Blue Shield also denied more than 500 other religious accommodation requests and fired hundreds of employees in addition to Domski over vaccine refusal….

FEMA worker accused of telling staff to skip hurricane-ravaged Trump homes claims it was common practice: โThis is not isolatedโ

Marnโi Washington, who was fired last week over the saga, broke her silence in an interview with YouTube podcaster Roland Martin Monday, arguing she had just been following a widespread FEMA policy of avoiding โpolitically hostileโ homes.
โFEMA preaches avoidance first, and then de-escalation. This is not isolated. This is a colossal event of avoidance,โ said Washington, 39.
โNot just in the state of Florida. You will find avoidance in the Carolinas.โ
Washington accused FEMA of lying after the federal agency said she had no authority to give the directive to disaster relief workers who were canvassing homes in Lake Placid, Fla., in the wake of last monthโs Hurricane Milton.

Illinois Restaurant Attacked by the Left over Trump Sign โ Business Increases by 50% Since Hanging Sign

A keen observation of many Trump supporters during the election cycle revolved around the assassination attempts on President Trumpโs life. Itโs not hard to imagine radicalism leading to assassination attempts when the media constantly repeats the notion that President Trump is akin to Hitler and a danger to democracy. If mentally unstable people think that a potential leader is an existential threat, it follows that someone may take matters into their own hands.
Appeals to the emotions of people as a political tool go back to the time of the famous Roman politician Cicero. The danger of this age old political stratagem is in the evolution of the information age. As the mainstream media loses viewers in troves, their dying gasps have become more desperate with each passing year. Itโs almost understandable that corporate media outlets have resorted to greater and greater degrees of sensationalism. After all, whatโs the old phrase? If it bleeds, it leads.
The danger to America, however, is in the polarization that this irresponsible coverage promotes. The dehumanization narrative that the mainstream media has parroted about Trump supporters has caught on with everyday citizens.
NBC Chicago covered a story about a restaurant called Moveable Feast & Company, which hung two signs outside its business. One sign read, โJesus is my Savior, Trump is my President.โ The other sign read, โMake America Healthy Again.โ
The restaurantโs website describes itself as follows, โWE RESPONSIBLY SOURCE OUR INGREDIENTS FROM LOCAL GROWERS OR BY OUR OWN FARM, FEAST FARMS LOCATED IN AURORA, ILLINOISโฆโ Commenting to NBC News, the owner says his business has seen a 50% increase since hanging the sign.
Following the hanging of the Jesus and Trump signs, the restaurant started receiving harassing messages online. Below is a screenshot of some of the messages received…..
