Alexander real estate brothers, sibling raped ‘dozens of victims,’ federal indictment alleges

Giorgio Viera | Reuters
Federal prosecutors in New York accused top real estate agents Tal and Oren Alexander and their brother, Alon, of drugging and raping “dozens of victims” over more than a decade.
The brothers “used their wealth and positions to create and facilitate opportunities to rape and sexually assault women,” according to the newly unsealed federal indictment charging them with sex trafficking.
At times, they “lured” women with luxury travel to destinations where they were then sexually assaulted, the indictment alleged.
They also allegedly “worked together and with others known and unknown” to carry out the sex trafficking scheme. Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, declined to specify who else is under investigation in the case.
The brothers — who had been synonymous with Manhattan’s luxury real estate market before allegations against them first surfaced earlier this year — were arrested in Miami on Wednesday morning…
Warren’s Reaction To UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder Cements Democrats As Party Of Violence

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is doing her best to justify future violence against the health insurance industry in the wake of the alleged murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by suspected shooter Luigi Mangione.
When Thompson was shot to death on a New York City sidewalk last week, allegedly over frustrations with rising health care costs and insurance claim denials, reactions were mixed between people justifying — even celebrating — the violence as a blow to the insurance industry and others condemning it.
Democrats in particular rushed to spin the tragedy in their favor.
In addition to using the crime as fuel for their gun-grab agenda, some leftist politicians like Warren established the blue party as the party of violence by promising murder will happen again unless the industry bends to leftist demands.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Warren sympathized with the “visceral response from people across this country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies.” Thompson’s death, she suggested, “should be a warning to everyone in the health care system” because it could be replicated by people frustrated with the industry.
Warren attempted to hedge her threat by claiming that violence is “never the answer.” Instead of stopping there, however, the Democrat all but promised that murders like Thompson’s will continue because “people can be pushed only so far.”…
ActBlue Drops Bombshell Confession Before Congress

Left-wing fundraising giant ActBlue has reportedly informed Congress it was still accepting foreign gift card donations as recently as September, a significant development in an ongoing investigation into whether U.S. foreign adversaries, such as China, Russia, Iran, or Venezuela, were dumping illicit funds into the campaign coffers of Democrat candidates.
Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI), chairman of the U.S. Committee on House Administration, which oversees federal election integrity, told Just the News that ActBlue turned over documents under subpoena showing a substantial change in September to its donor verification policies designed to guard against ill-gotten gains from flowing into political campaigns.
According to Just the News, ActBlue disclosed that it updated the platform’s policies on Sept. 9 to “automatically reject donations that use foreign prepaid/gift cards, domestic gift cards, are from high-risk/sanctioned countries, and have the highest level of risk as determined.”
That change occurred just three days after Steil introduced the Secure Handling of Internet Electronic Donations (SHIELD) Act on Sept. 6 to ensure that foreign money stayed out of online political fundraising. Beforehand, Steil said that such donations were not automatically rejected by ActBlue….

The legacy news magazine plans to announce the decision Thursday morning, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing three people familiar with the plans and noting Trump would be in New York City that morning to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
In a statement to The Hill, Time said it “does not comment on its annual choice for Person of the Year prior to publication. This year’s choice will be announced tomorrow morning, Dec. 12, on Time.com.”
In a description of Trump on its finalists webpage, Time called Trump’s election win “a stunning political comeback.”…

UK bans puberty blockers for minors while their safety is under review

The United Kingdom indefinitely banned puberty blockers for children after warnings about an “unacceptable safety risk” on Wednesday.
Wes Streeting, the U.K.’s secretary of state for Health and Social Care, announced the ban would affect everyone younger than 18.
“We need to act with caution and care when it comes to this vulnerable group of young people, and follow the expert advice,” Streeting said.
The declaration from the British government comes after the Commission on Human Medicines found there is “an unacceptable safety risk in the continued prescription of puberty blockers to children.”
With the commission’s report revealing that puberty blockers were prescribed to minors who filled out only one online questionnaire and completed a single Zoom call, Streeting said Wednesday that there was “particular concern” about whether the “children and their families were provided with enough time and information to give their full and informed consent.”..

FBI Director Chris Wray resigning amid pressure from Trump
FBI Director Christopher Wray told employees at an internal town hall on Wednesday that he is resigning, according to sources familiar with the meeting.
He said he is stepping down at the end of the current Biden administration.
“After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the Bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down. My goal is to keep the focus on our mission — the indispensable work you’re doing on behalf of the American people every day. In my view, this is the best way to avoid dragging the Bureau deeper into the fray, while reinforcing the values and principles that are so important to how we do our work,” he said in his remarks.
Republican critics have accused Wray’s FBI of political interference, a lack of transparency and a lack of responsiveness to Congress.
Iowa GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley, the incoming chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Wray on Dec. 9, expressing a “vote of no confidence” in Wray and his deputy director.
Trump has picked Kash Patel to replace Wray at the FBI
Trump cheers Wray resignation as end to ‘weaponization’ of FBI

Kash Patel as his nominee to replace Wray, whom Trump was expected to fire had he not resigned.
“The resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the Weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice,” Trump said. “I just don’t know what happened to him. We will now restore the Rule of Law for all Americans.”
Trump nominated Wray for the post during his first term, though he ultimately soured on his leadership amid mounting controversies surrounding the FBI’s apparent targeting of conservatives and Catholics.
“Under the leadership of Christopher Wray, the FBI illegally raided my home, without cause, worked diligently on illegally impeaching and indicting me, and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America,” Trump went on. “They have used their vast powers to threaten and destroy many innocent Americans, some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them.”
“Kash Patel is the most qualified Nominee to lead the FBI in the Agency’s History, and is committed to helping ensure that Law, Order, and Justice will be brought back to our Country again, and soon,” he went on. “As everyone knows, I have great respect for the rank-and-file of the FBI, and they have great respect for me.”

US Navy destroyers thwart Houthi attack in Gulf of Aden

Two U.S. Navy destroyers defeated a Houthi militant drone and missile attack earlier this week while escorting merchant ships through the Gulf of Aden, U.S. military officials said.
The multiple one-way drone and single anti-ship cruise missile attack came Monday and Tuesday as USS Stockdale and USS O’Kane were protecting three U.S. flagged, owned and operated ships transiting the gulf, U.S. Central Command said in a statement.
There was no damage to any of the vessels and no one was injured, CENTCOM said Tuesday.
The statement didn’t identify the civilian ships under attack. Last week, USS Stockdale and USS O’Kane shot down three Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles, one anti-ship cruise missile and three drones while escorting commercial vessels.
There have been at least 111 reported incidents involving ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since the Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen began their campaign in November 2023, according to Joint Maritime Information Center data.
Those attacks have sunk two vessels, left four mariners dead and severely injured two others, according to the center…
Scary surveillance video shows men attack, gang beat ex-NHL player in parking lot outside Arizona restaurant
Former NHL player Paul Bissonnette fended off at least 6 men during an altercation outside a popular Scottsdale, Arizona, restaurant.
Claims by former Phoenix Coyotes hockey player Paul Bissonette were proven to be true after surveillance video confirmed his story about being attacked by a group of men.
As previously reported by Blaze News, Bissonnette said in late November he was at his favorite Scottsdale, Arizona, restaurant called Houston’s when he noticed staff were being berated by a group of men.
“It was a bunch of drunk golfers,” Bissonnette said in a video posted to X. “Things obviously continued to escalate. [Staff] asked one guy to leave, and then one guy kept getting in the manager’s face, put his hands on him,” he continued.
Bissonnette claimed that when he tried to intervene, one of the men immediately started throwing punches, and the altercation quickly pushed into the parking lot where the former hockey star fended off his attackers.
The Barstool Sports personality assured his fans that surveillance video would be released and exonerate him from any wrongdoing.
After a bounty of police bodycam videos, surveillance footage, and even courtroom video was posted online, it appeared Bissonnette had a fairly accurate recollection of the night’s events.
Fox 10 Phoenix reporter Ellen McNamara first posted surveillance video from inside the restaurant on the night in question.
The video showed a group of men near the restaurant bar as Bissonnette approached. Within five seconds, a man appeared to attack Bissonette who then threw punches back. After approximately one minute, Bissonnette began to retreat outside but was followed by around six to 10 men….
Mitch McConnell’s jaw-dropping insinuation about the MAGA movement

In the aftermath of President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory, former Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell compared the MAGA movement to American isolationists in the 1930s, insinuating that Trump would have been indifferent to the fascist uprising in Europe at the time.
Trump, whose foreign policy is far more hands-off than McConnell’s hawkish approach, is fundamentally at odds with the former leader’s geopolitical worldview. Consequently, McConnell spoke about the current state of foreign affairs and said it was “reminiscent” of the times leading up to World War II, criticizing American isolationists from both today and nearly a century ago.
“We’re in a very, very dangerous world right now, reminiscent of before World War II,” McConnell said. “Even the slogan is the same. ‘America First.’ That was what they said in the ’30s.”
McConnell has famously been a thorn in Trump’s side and has been a staunch critic of the president-elect, both on and off the record. He reiterated his opposition to Trump and said he intends to push back on him and the incoming administration.
“No matter who got elected president, I think it was going to require significant pushback, yeah, and I intend to be one of the pushers,” McConnell said.
It all comes down to McConnell and money. McConnell has greenlit over $170 billion to Ukraine, while Trump has repeatedly called for an end to the war altogether….
Done Deal: U.S. Loans Ukraine $20 Billion Ahead of Biden’s Departure

The loan funds come at a crucial juncture for Kyiv as President-elect Donald Trump has already indicated he wants an immediate settlement between the two combatants rather than helping fund a never ending war, as Breitbart News reported.
Trump has increasingly questioned the level of financial support given to Ukraine following Russia’s 2022 invasion, saying as recently as last weekend he will “probably” reduce aid to Kyiv.
“These funds — paid for by the windfall proceeds earned from Russia’s own immobilized assets — will provide Ukraine a critical infusion of support as it defends its country against an unprovoked war of aggression,” U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said in a statement.
The G7’s loans “will help ensure Ukraine has the resources it needs to sustain emergency services, hospitals and other foundations of its brave resistance,” Yellen added, per an AFP report.
Arrest Made After LGBTQ Activist Allegedly Assaulted Nancy Mace

In a post on X, Mace characterized the man as an LGBTQ activist, as Breitbart News reported.
“I was physically accosted at the Capitol tonight by a pro-tr*ns man. One new brace for my wrist and some ice for my arm and it’ll heal just fine. The Capitol police arrested the guy. Your tr*ns violence and threats on my life will only make me double down. FAFO,” she said while imploring people to “Hold the Line.”
U.S. Capitol Police confirmed the incident, noting they arrested a person accused of assaulting a lawmaker.
The Hill reports police did not specifically name Mace in their statement but said a member of Congress’s office reported an incident just before 6 p.m. inside the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill.
“House Division officers, and agents with the Threat Assessment Section, tracked down the suspect,” police said in a statement.
The suspect was identified as 33-year-old James McIntyre of Illinois. He faces a charge of assaulting a government official…
No Deal: Judge Blocks Sale of Alex Jones’ Infowars to The Onion

The auction sale of Alex Jones’ Infowars to The Onion satirical news outlet was rejected late Tuesday night by a judge who criticized the bidding process as flawed while questioning the amount of money families of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary shooting stood to receive.
After a two-day hearing, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez of Houston ruled an auction for Infowars did not result in the best bids possible.
However, he rejected Jones’ claims the auction was plagued by “collusion.”
The decision not to approve the sale means Jones can stay at his Infowars headquarters in Austin, Texas. The Onion had planned to kick Jones out and relaunch Infowars in January as a parody…
Violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua spreads to one of America’s most remote states

“Tren de Aragua now has a presence in 17 states.” Congressman Troy E. Nehls, R-Texas, posted on X. “I look forward to working with President Trump to secure our border and restore safety in our communities.”
West Fargo has a population of less than 40,000, and North Dakota itself is one of the least-populated states in the country, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The origins of Tren de Aragua, which means “Train from Aragua,” have been traced to a Venezuelan prison more than a decade ago.
Police originally pulled over Theis for driving without his headlights on, but they soon discovered more than $24,000 in cash he allegedly stole from a nearby bank, a facemask, a latex glove, cables and a computer keyboard during a search of his car, according to KXLG.
Theis admitted to being part of an organization of hackers who were “jackpotting” ATMs, using a virus to steal money, court documents revealed, according to the outlet.
Two other suspects were arrested, bringing the total theft amount to almost $100,000. Theis provided names of the other individuals involved, including Jefferson Rodriguez-Quintero and Ryber Sanchez, who were also arrested, the local outlet reported….
GOP governor calls on incoming Trump officials to ban junk food in food stamps: ‘Make America Healthy Again’

Arkansas Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has sent a letter to the incoming Trump administration heads of the Health and Agriculture departments, calling for the end of junk food as part of the federal food stamp program.
“As you know, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a $113 billion federal program designed to support low income families with food assistance,” Sanders wrote in a letter obtained by Fox News Digital to HHS Secretary-nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Agriculture Secretary-nominee Brooke Rollins. “Unfortunately, this ‘Nutrition Assistance’ program is undermining the health of millions of Americans, on the taxpayers’ dime, by encouraging families to eat highly processed, unhealthy junk food.”
“In fact, soda, unhealthy snacks, candy, and dessert account for nearly 23 percent, or $25 billion, of all SNAP purchases. Given the relationship between junk food and poor health, our federal food assistance policies are fueling obesity, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and a wide range of chronic health conditions around America.”
Sanders cited her experience as a mother of three as motivation for “improving maternal health outcomes” in children and explained that one third of the people in her state suffer from diabetes or pre-diabetes, and 40% struggle with obesity….
Top DOGE senator demands answers on plan to exhaust CHIPs Act funds before Trump arrives

A top U.S. senator is expected to demand that Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo explain her reported plans to exhaust the remainder of the CHIPs and Science Act’s multibillion-dollar appropriations before President-elect Trump takes office.
“Your recent mandate to the Department of Commerce staff to work overtime — including weekends — spending billions of dollars in funding provided by the CHIPs and Science Act as quickly as possible before President-elect Trump takes office in January is extremely concerning,” Senate DOGE Caucus leader Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, writes in a letter that is to be given to Raimondo on Wednesday.
Ernst called on Raimondo, the previous Rhode Island governor, to immediately halt all last-minute spending plans.
Raimondo recently told Politico she’d “like to have really almost all of the money obligated” from what is one of President Biden’s major government spending initiatives “by the time we leave.”..
Widely used herbicide linked to persistent damaging effects on brain

A peer-reviewed study in the Journal of Neuroinflammation found that glyphosate, the world’s most widely used herbicide, may have persistent, damaging effects on brain health. Laboratory mice exposed to glyphosate exhibited significant brain inflammation, a condition tied to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. The symptoms persisted even months after the exposure ended.
The research team at Arizona State University (ASU) noted the study’s particular relevance to rural communities, where glyphosate is heavily used in farming. Lead researcher Ramon Velazquez, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of examining the effects of such a widely used chemical on brain health.
“This work is yet another step forward in understanding the impact of this widely used herbicide on the brain. But more research is needed to determine the impact that glyphosate has on the brain since most Americans are exposed to this herbicide on a daily basis.”
Ramon Velazquez, Ph.D., Arizona State University
The study revealed that even low doses—near the levels considered acceptable for human exposure—caused significant harm in the mice. Researchers observed premature death, neuroinflammation, and Alzheimer’s-like pathology in genetically predisposed mice. They also detected the accumulation of aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA), a byproduct of glyphosate, in brain tissue, raising serious safety concerns about the chemical’s long-term effects on humans.
