Teen’s father arrested after Walmart employees find baby’s body in restroom trash

According to a statement by Kingsville Police Department, officers found store employees attempting to save the baby’s life. Tragically, the baby girl was transported to Christus Spohn Hospital in Kleberg, where she was pronounced dead. Security camera footage revealed that the child’s mother had entered the restroom that evening and remained there for about 40 minutes before leaving.
The statement by Kingsville PD further noted:
At 10:53 p.m., a Kleberg County Sheriff’s Deputy located and stopped the vehicle in the WalMart parking lot. A 17-year-old female was identified and transported by EMS to the hospital for medical care.
Her father, Jerry Lee Martinez, 45, of Mathis, Texas, was taken into custody and booked into the Kleberg County Jail. He has been charged with Abandoning/Endangering a Child – Criminal Negligence.
However, those aren’t the only charges for Martinez.
The baby’s 17-year-old mother told police days later that her father had sexually assaulted her multiple times since she was 15, which began with ‘inappropriate touching’ — and when she became pregnant, he physically assaulted her by punching her in the stomach on several occasions in an attempt to cause the death of the baby.
When that failed, he allegedly took her to Mexico for an abortion.
KIII-TV reported, “She also told them he was the father of her child, and that he had taken her to Mexico to have the baby aborted Monday. The report states that the girl said this is why the baby was stillborn when it was left in the bathroom.”
Martinez is also charged with tampering with a witness and tampering with evidence.
According to the news outlet, “San Patricio District Attorney Marjorie Silva confirmed to 3NEWS on Friday that Martinez is also charged with sexually assaulting his daughter.” According to reports, Martinez has been placed under house arrest with orders not to contact the teenage victim, any family outside his home, or the witness….
DOJ watchdog: FBI cut corners in Clinton email probe

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is drawing attention to findings from the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Inspector General (OIG), which reveal that the FBI failed to fully investigate Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and her mishandling of highly classified information during her time as Secretary of State.
The newly declassified “Clinton annex” is an appendix to the DOJ OIG’s June 2018 report reviewing the DOJ and FBI’s handling of the Clinton investigation. The annex was declassified and provided to Grassley at his request by the DOJ, now under the leadership of Attorney General Pam Bondi, along with other agencies.
Grassley had previously sought this information from the DOJ and FBI since 2018, later submitting requests to then-Attorney General Bill Barr in 2019, and again urging President Donald Trump to declassify the document in 2020. He renewed the request in 2025.
“This document shows an extreme lack of effort and due diligence in the FBI’s investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s email usage and mishandling of highly classified information,” Grassley said. “Under Comey’s leadership, the FBI failed to perform fundamental investigative work and left key pieces of evidence on the cutting room floor.”
“The Comey FBI’s negligent approach and perhaps intentional lack of effort in the Clinton investigation is a stark contrast to its full-throated investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, which was based on the uncorroborated and now discredited Steele dossier. Comey’s decision-making process smacks of political infection.”
“I warned years ago that the Clinton investigation failed to hit the mark, and I’m grateful the American people can finally see the facts for themselves,” Grassley continued. “After nearly a decade in the shadows, this information is now coming to light thanks to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel’s dedicated efforts to fulfill my congressional request. I appreciate their ongoing commitment to transparency and strongly urge them to continue to fully review this matter, including its national security impact.”
📎 Read the Clinton annex HERE.
According to the DOJ OIG, the Clinton annex shows that the FBI obtained thumb drives from a source during the investigation. However, then-FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok did not conduct targeted searches on the drives, even though they contained information relevant to the inquiry.
The drives reportedly included highly sensitive material exfiltrated from US government agencies, such as the State Department, as well as emails involving then-President Barack Obama and possibly congressional data. The thumb drives were never reviewed, despite a draft FBI memo recommending they should be. Nor were they examined for foreign intelligence purposes….
Judge rejects Trump administration effort to unseal Epstein grand jury records

A US judge has rejected a Trump administration request to unseal transcripts from grand jury investigations of Jeffrey Epstein years ago in Florida.
A similar records request is pending in New York.
District judge Robin Rosenberg in West Palm Beach, Florida said the request to release grand jury documents from 2005 and 2007 did not meet any of the extraordinary exceptions under US law that could make them public.
The Justice Department last week asked the judge to release records to quell a storm among supporters of US President Donald Trump who believe there was a conspiracy to protect Epstein’s clients, conceal videos of crimes being committed and other evidence.
3 Lorain officers shot in ambushed attack near Colorado Industrial Park

Three Lorain police officers were hurt Wednesday afternoon in an ambush shooting off Colorado Avenue.
The incident took place at the Colorado Industrial Park near Missouri Avenue. The officers responded to a call of shots fired before 2 p.m. When they arrived, they were met with gunfire from a shooter who was hiding in a tree line, authorities said.
It is unclear the extent of the officers’ injuries. Two of the officers were flown to MetroHealth Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said. A third was taken to Mercy Health – Lorain.
Authorities believe the shooter used a high-powered rifle to shoot the officers, and investigators were using a drone to determine whether there was more than one suspect.
One suspect is dead, though it is unclear whether it was from the officers’ return fire or a self-inflicted wound, authorities said.
Scores of officers from several departments swarmed the area, which included large patches of woods.

China-linked hackers hit US nuclear and health agencies

Hackers exploited flaws in Microsoft SharePoint software to compromise servers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), officials confirmed.
The breach was part of a broader global campaign that targeted on-premise SharePoint systems, affecting at least 60 organizations across multiple sectors and countries.
An internal email obtained by The Washington Post reveals that attackers compromised one server at NIH and attempted to breach two others. NIH disconnected eight servers from the internet as a precaution. The affected systems hosted sites for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases and the Fogarty International Center.
The Department of Energy said the breach did not compromise classified materials. A spokesperson said that the agency experienced minimal impact because it used Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure and confirmed that technicians are working to restore affected systems. The NNSA, a semi-autonomous Energy Department arm responsible for nuclear weapons security, confirmed the breach but emphasized that sensitive data remained secure.
Microsoft and cybersecurity researchers attributed the intrusions to several China-linked hacking groups, including Violet Typhoon, Linen Typhoon and Storm-2603. Microsoft reported “high confidence” that attackers would continue leveraging the exploited flaws. The Chinese Embassy denied involvement and warned against accusations lacking evidence….
Turkey unveils laser-armed, anti-drone armored vehicle

As the proliferation of cheap, unmanned aerial systems continues to redefine combat, militaries around the world are scrambling to counter the threat. At this year’s International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) in Turkey, Turkish defense firms unveiled their answer.
It’s the ALKA-KAPLAN, a tracked, armored anti-drone vehicle combining a directed energy weapon system with a hybrid-powered platform.
Some are calling it the world’s first “laser-armed tank.” However, the ALKA-KAPLAN is best described as a modular, multi-role, laser-equipped armored vehicle tailored to counter drones and other asymmetric threats.
The system is a joint venture between two of Turkey’s premier defense contractors: FNSS and ROKETSAN. FNSS developed the vehicle platform — the KAPLAN HYBRID — while ROKETSAN supplied the ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System (DEWS), which sits atop the chassis.
Together, the result is a new generation of mobile anti-drone warfare.
Twin countermeasures: soft kill and hard kill
The ALKA-KAPLAN boasts a two-layered defense system to address a variety of threats:
- Soft-kill capability: Uses electromagnetic jamming systems to disrupt the guidance systems of incoming drones, including micro and mini UAVs and loitering munitions.
- Hard-kill capability: Fires high-energy lasers capable of disabling or destroying fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs up to a mile away. The system can also engage ground-based and waterborne threats, such as IEDs, landmines, and floating ordnance.
Artificial intelligence-driven detection and tracking algorithms that help prioritize and neutralize multiple targets, including swarm drone attacks, enhance these capabilities…

Paul urges DOJ to ‘test’ Fauci’s Biden pardon by bringing charges against him for allegedly ‘lying to Congress about gain-of-function research’

Kentucky GOP Senator Rand Paul is urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to bring charges against former senior national health advisor Anthony Fauci, accusing him of lying to Congress while requesting that the agency test whether former President Joe Biden’s blanket pardons will hold up in court.
Paul, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, told Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk that he believes Fauci “committed a felony by lying to Congress.”
“You have to charge him with a felony; take him to court, and then the court will decide whether or not the pardon is upheld,” Paul stated.
“You can argue until you’re blue in the face that you can’t do autopens and that maybe the president wasn’t aware of it. But the only way to actually do this is you have to charge someone who has been pardoned,” he continued. “I think Anthony Fauci is most likely to be chargeable. There are other people – Hunter Biden could be charged as well — but someone has to be charged.”
Paul cited Fauci’s testimony during a Senate hearing on May 11, 2021, in which he stated that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) “has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”…

How Minneapolis Turned Into Somalia | Ep. 1627
Today on the Matt Walsh Show, the mayor of Minneapolis wept in front of the golden casket of George Floyd. He pandered and debased himself in a million ways. And yet the Democrat Party in his city still endorsed a Muslim socialist from Somalia over him. There’s a lesson in that.
We’ll discuss. Also, Republican Representative Maria Salazar continues to push for amnesty for illegal aliens in the name of “dignity.” Hunter Biden lashes out at George Clooney in hilarious fashion.
And, a woman complains to the media after she somehow managed to dress in such a sloppy and unkempt fashion that she wasn’t allowed to board a Spirit Airlines flight.
Explosive declassified report: Russia DID have secret dirt on the 2016 election — but it wasn’t about Trump

The September 2020 report stated that the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service “possessed DNC communications that Clinton was suffering from ‘intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.’ Clinton was placed on a daily regimen of ‘heavy tranquilizers’ and while afraid of losing, she remained ‘obsessed with a thirst for power.'”
It noted that then-President Barack Obama and other Democratic leaders “found the state of Secretary Clinton’s health to be ‘extraordinarily alarming’ and felt it could have [a] ‘serious negative impact’ on her election prospects.”
Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck wrote in a post on X, “Tulsi Gabbard just released a document that reveals the Russians DID have dirt on a 2016 presidential campaign. But it wasn’t Trump’s. It was Hillary Clinton’s. I wonder if this is what the FBI was looking for when they raided Mar-a-Lago?”
“If Putin really wanted Trump to win, why wouldn’t he put this out?” Beck questioned. “Russia probably thought Clinton was going to win, which would be good for them because they had all this dirt on her.”
“But instead of being truthful with us, President Obama ordered the Intelligence Community to make it look like Trump’s a Russian puppet. This was a planned and coordinated coup,” Beck added.
Sarah Bedford, an investigations editor for the Washington Examiner, reached a similar conclusion….
UK Launches First Sanctions on Groups Accused of Facilitating Illegal Migration

In what it called a “landmark” first use of new powers, the move came as the government faces political pressure to stem migrant arrivals on small boats from northern France, at record levels.
The asset freezes and travel bans announced target individuals and entities “driving irregular migration to the UK”, and include four “gangs” and “gangland bosses” operating in the Balkans, the Foreign Office said.
They also hit a small boat supplier in China, so-called “hawala” money movers in the Middle East, and seven alleged people-smugglers linked to Iraq.
Foreign Secretary David Lammy called it “a landmark moment in the government’s work to tackle organised immigration crime” impacting the UK.
“From Europe to Asia we are taking the fight to the people-smugglers who enable irregular migration, targeting them wherever they are in the world,” he added.
“My message to the gangs who callously risk vulnerable lives for profit is this: we know who you are, and we will work with our partners around the world to hold you to account.”..
Illegal Alien Accused of Killing 18-Year-Old Hallie Helgeson in Wisconsin Drunk Driving Crash

Noelia A. Martinez, a 30-year-old illegal alien with a history of drunk driving, has been arrested and charged with second-degree homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, second-degree homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle with prohibited alcohol concentration, drunk driving, and knowingly operating a vehicle on a revoked license, among other charges.
On July 20, Martinez was allegedly drunk driving when she crashed into Hallie and Brady, who were in Brady’s Volkswagen Tiguan.
When first responders arrived on the scene, Hallie was unresponsive and was pronounced dead two hours later. Brady, suffering serious injuries, had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Hallie’s Instagram shows that she and Brady had just attended senior prom about 11 weeks prior to the crash that killed her. Hallie’s last post was a video montage of her and Brady, with the caption “three years of us.”
Meanwhile, open beer cans were found by first responders in Martinez’s Chevy Suburban, and police officers said they smelled alcohol on her and that she failed a field sobriety test. At the time of the crash, Martinez had a blood-alcohol level of 0.208% — more than double the legal limit of 0.08%….
Though she initially denied being drunk, Martinez later admitted to police that she had consumed at least two Modelo beers.
While living illegally in the United States, Martinez has racked up several traffic violations and a conviction in November 2020 for drunk driving.
At the time of the crash, Martinez was supposed to have a device in her vehicle that prevented her from starting her car if she had been drinking. Additionally, her license had been revoked before the crash.
It is unclear why Martinez was never turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency following her prior run-ins with the law. She is being held on a $250,000 bond.
