Pregnant woman stabbed to death after refusing abortion

Shaine March, 47, is accused of stabbing Alana Odysseos, 32, 19 times outside her London apartment on July 22, 2024. Odysseos and March had been in a relationship for about four months, and Odysseos was in the “early stages” of pregnancy. After the incident, neighbors reported hearing Odysseos outside screaming, “Shaine stabbed me, he stabbed me! Help! Help!”
Neighbors also say that the couple argued often; just hours before the stabbing, Odysseos was heard saying, “I don’t want to kill my baby.” She was also the mother of two other children.
According to court testimony, March was apprehended shortly after the incident and told police, “I did it, I killed her Alana Odysseos” and “I killed her hahahaha I killed her hahahaha.”
Friends and family testified that throughout the relationship, March was very abusive to Odysseos; refusing to allow her to talk to people, and checking up on her whereabouts at all times.
Odysseos had also told a friend that they had argued over the pregnancy, and he had pressured her to get an abortion, claiming that the preborn child was not his.
After his arrest, March told officers, “I hope she isn’t dead. I hope the baby in her belly is still alive. But you know what, yeah? But I did say to her, have the abortion…”
According to the BBC, March has admitted to manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility, but denies murdering Odysseos…..
European Union wants abortion to be ‘central’ to UN global security policy

(C-Fam – United Nations) Liberal Western governments pledged to make abortion and feminism a central component of global security policy at the UN Security Council on Monday.
A representative of the European Union said the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda is “central” to the EU Gender Action Plan, which includes the promotion of “sexual and reproductive health and rights.”
Nordic Countries praised the UN system for promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in humanitarian programming.
Denmark emphasized that sexual and reproductive health and rights were “non-negotiable.” Ireland called for transgender-specific programming in peace operations through “intersectional” approaches and recognition of women “in all their diversity.”
The U.S. delegation gave its support to the Women, Peace, and Security agenda in broad terms, without addressing its controversial aspects, despite parts of the Trump administration being known to oppose it.
Earlier this year, Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of War, pared down all U.S. Women, Peace and Security programming in the U.S. War Department to a minimum, calling it a “woke divisive/social justice/Biden initiative that overburdens our commanders and troops.” When he announced the decision, he said it was a UN program “pushed by feminists and left-wing activists. Politicians fawn over it; troops hate it.”….

Texas Man Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison for Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Girl

Lead prosecutor Tristyl McInnis said the jury handed down 18-year prison sentences for each of the two counts of sexual assault of a child to 54-year-old Emmanuel Aransiola. The jury convicted the man in late September for two counts of sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl that took place in November 2023.
McInnis said Aransiola lured the teenage girl into his vehicle and later sexually assaulted her. She added that the defendant had not previously met the girl before the assault.
The girl immediately reported the assault to a family member. Police investigators obtained home security video and license plate reader data, which helped identify the vehicle and the suspect. The girl identified Aransiola from a photo line-up. McInnis said DNA evidence connected the defendant to the victim.
This case is a reminder that protecting children requires all of us to be vigilant,” McInnis said in a written statement. “We must notice when something doesn’t look right and speak up. One person’s voice can stop a predator and save a child.”

Trump Continues Payments to Troops, Bureaucrat Layoffs; Admin Will ‘Ride Out the Democrats’ Intransigence’

The Trump administration will continue to pay troops and law enforcement and issue more reductions in force of federal bureaucrats as the Democrat shutdown continues, the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said on Tuesday.
“OMB is making every preparation to batten down the hatches and ride out the Democrats’ intransigence. Pay the troops, pay law enforcement, continue the RIFs [reductions in force], and wait,” OMB wrote on X.
As news outlets say that this Democrat shutdown could be one of the nation’s longest, the Trump administration has moved to pay the nation’s service members and law enforcement, and continue reductions in force (RIFs).
During a typical government shutdown federal workers are furloughed and do not receive pay. However, the Trump administration has moved to issue RIFs that eliminate a position within the morass of the federal government.
Initial reports have found that the Trump administration has already swiftly issued roughly 4,600 RIFs across many major departments of the federal government, including the Commerce Department, Education Department, Energy Department, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Treasury Department.
“The President, through OMB, has determined that agencies should operate more efficiently and has directed them to consider steps to optimize their workforces in light of the ongoing lapse in appropriations,” the Justice Department wrote in a legal filing….

On Sept. 25, he allegedly printed U.S. Air Force documents concerning military aircraft capabilities. Federal prosecutors allege that he met with Chinese government officials multiple times over the past several years.

Elon Musk’s Boring Company to Build ‘Dubai Loop’ in UAE

Bloomberg reports that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Al Olama, recently announced that the Boring Company’s “Dubai Loop” transit system is set to become operational by the second quarter of 2026. This underground transportation network, a partnership between Elon Musk’s tunneling venture and the UAE government, aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the rapidly growing city of Dubai.
According to the initial plans unveiled by the Boring Company in February, the Dubai Loop’s first phase will span 17 kilometers (10.6 miles) of tunnels and have the capacity to transport 20,000 passengers per hour. Al Olama stated that this initial loop is just the beginning, with plans for “multiple loops” in the future, although he did not provide a specific timeline for the expansion.
The Dubai Loop project aligns with the city’s ongoing efforts to tackle the increasing congestion resulting from its growing population. Dubai has been exploring various futuristic solutions, including air taxi services from companies like California-based Joby Aviation and its Chinese competitors. The UAE has positioned itself as a welcoming host for innovative technologies, such as flying cars and AI chatbots, by implementing light-touch regulations and ambitious expansion plans.
If successful, the Dubai Loop would mark a significant milestone for the Boring Company, which has struggled to deliver on its promises in the past. The company’s only functioning public Loop is currently operating in Las Vegas, where human-driven Tesla vehicles shuttle passengers between stations. It remains unclear whether the Dubai Loop will rely on Tesla cars or utilize other modes of transport that the Boring Company has previously proposed, such as vacuum pods and driverless vehicles….
Trump touts another US strike near Venezuela that killed six alleged drug smugglers

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that the U.S. military carried out another strike on a suspected drug vessel off the coast of Venezuela, killing six suspected smugglers.
“Under my Standing Authorities as Commander-in-Chief, this morning, the Secretary of War, ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO) conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility — just off the Coast of Venezuela. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking narcotics, was associated with illicit narcoterrorist networks, and was transiting along a known DTO route,” Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social.
“The strike was conducted in International Waters, and six male narcoterrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike,” Trump said. “No U.S. Forces were harmed.”
The strikes comes after the White House sent lawmakers a memo Sept. 30 informing them that the U.S. is now participating in a “non-international armed conflict” with drug smugglers.
Additionally, it comes on the heels of four other fatal strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean since September.
Mamdani’s Wife Mourns Death of Pro-Hamas Influencer Who Cheered Oct. 7 Massacre

The wife of socialist New York City mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani appeared to mourn the death of a Palestinian influencer who celebrated Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel.
Saleh al-Jafarawi, a popular social media influencer and activist who gained notoriety after posting a video celebrating the Oct. 7 massacre, was allegedly shot and killed in Gaza during a deadly clash between Hamas and Palestinian militias, according to reports.
In response, the Muslim mayoral candidate’s wife, Rama Duwaji, shared an image of Jafarawi on her Instagram story, accompanied by four broken heart emojis. She also shared a separate post referring to the “beloved Jafarawi.”
Jafarawi has been dubbed “Mr. FAFO” in Israeli media for celebrating the Oct. 7 attack in which Hamas terrorists killed 1,200 civilians and took 251 hostages, only to later post a video of himself sobbing after Israel launched its counterstrike on Gaza, according to the New York Post.
Jafarawi has also been accused of pocketing millions of dollars he had raised as donations for Gaza residents, The Times of Israel reported.
The influencer has been falsely reported dead on multiple occasions…..

Hamas won’t give up arms or Gaza control — despite agreeing to Trump deal, spokesman says

Hamas appeared to renege on key demands of President Trump’s cease-fire deal just hours after the world celebrated the end of the Gaza war — with a top official saying the terror group will not give up its arms or control over the Gaza Strip.
Spokesman Hazem Qassem claimed Monday that Hamas has no need to abide by every word of Trump’s 20-point peace plan, including calls for the terror group to lay down its arms.
“We do not need to limit ourselves to the Israeli terms and definitions related to weapons,” Qassem told the Al-Arabiya news channel.
“We will not be captives to Israeli terms or demands,” he added. “This is one of the focal points of the struggle in the next stage, after the cessation of aggression in the Gaza Strip.”
Qassem echoed Hamas’ long-standing position that it will neither give up its weapons nor cede governance over the Gaza Strip until a path is laid out for Palestinian statehood.
Trump’s plan, which saw all 20 living hostages freed on Monday, provides for how Gaza should be governed after Hamas cedes control.
However, the details of how and when that will happen have not yet been agreed upon.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly rejected any and all deals that would see a Palestinian state form.
Netanyahu’s administration has also made it clear that Hamas must disarm for the cease-fire to go through, warning that the military will not allow the terror group to continue posing a threat to the Jewish state. …
