Bill and Hillary Clinton’s video depositions on Jeffrey Epstein ties released

The powerful House Oversight Committee dropped footage Monday of its hours-long sworn depositions of Bill and Hillary Clinton last week in New York as part of its probe into late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Both of the Clintons vehemently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s sex crimes, with Hillary insisting she didn’t even know the notorious financier and the 42nd president stressing he “did nothing wrong.”

“I saw nothing that ever gave me pause,” the former president told members of the Oversight panel during a deposition in the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center last week.

Back in August, the Oversight panel subpoenaed the Clintons and eight others for testimony about Epstein. Initially, the Clintons refused to testify, accusing Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), in a January letter, of “trying to punish those who you see as your enemies.”

But after several Democrats joined Republicans in advancing a contempt of Congress measure against the Clintons, the former first couple caved.

You can watch the full 4-hour and 35-minute-long video of Hillary here and the 4-hour and 33-minute-long video of Bill here.

“You have compelled me to testify, fully aware that I have no knowledge that would assist your investigation, in order to distract attention from President Trump’s actions and to cover them up despite legitimate calls for answers,” Hillary chastized the Oversight panel during her testimony.

She ripped into the panel, accusing it of exhibiting an “abdication of duty and an insult to the American people,” for neglecting to go after individuals who had close ties to Epstein.

Her deposition was interrupted after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Col.) snapped a picture of her in violation of the agreed-upon rules and shared that photo with conservative pundit Benny Johnson, who posted it on social media.

Hillary later took questions from the press and revealed publicly for the first time why Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was at her daughter, Chelsea’s, 2010 wedding, revealing that she was a “guest of someone who was invited.”

Bill, who, unlike his wife, had been shown in public photos of being next to Epstein, fielded questions about his ties to the disgraced financier and travels on his infamous plane….

Mayor accused of raping drunken 16-year-old at pool party ordered ‘morning after’ pill on DoorDash

A disgraced small-town mayor who was allegedly caught by her kids having sex with a drunken 16-year-old boy at a booze-fueled pool party ordered emergency contraception on DoorDash afterward.

Misty Roberts, the 43-year-old former leader of tiny DeRidder, La., is now on trial for third-degree rape over the 2024 alleged tryst.

After news spread of Roberts’ reputed romp with the teen in the town of 9,800, the mother of the victim — a friend of the defendant’s son — texted the then-mayor to ensure she was not pregnant, to which she replied she was on birth control, prosecutors told jurors last week, according to KPLC.

Roberts then shared a screenshot of the exchange in a group chat with her friends, who urged her to take Plan B, an over-the-counter “morning after” pill.

A DoorDash driver testified that he accepted a request from “Misty C” to purchase the emergency contraceptive and leave it at her front door.

The driver told the court he recognized Roberts from trick-or-treating with his children at the home and later heard rumors about the allegations, which led him to believe the delivery was connected.

Roberts’ son told investigators in an interview played for jurors that he saw his mom having sex with his pal through a crack in a window — but later demurred in court and said he wasn’t exactly sure what he saw that night, according to KPLC.

The son also texted his mom that night, realizing what was happening, and told her that his sister was crying, according to messages presented by prosecutors.

“He is seventeen,” the son texted Roberts….

Another reason why CA gas prices are set to rocket – and it’s nothing to do with Iran

California drivers are facing yet another new reason why gas prices are on the rise this spring — and it has nothing to do with the US-Israeli airstrikes in Iran or oil production cuts.

Rather, the culprit is the switch to summer-blend gasoline, which traditionally sends prices climbing in the Golden State ahead of the warmer months.

“Gas prices are climbing as refineries undergo maintenance ahead of the switch to summer-blend fuel,” said Marie Dodds, public affairs director for AAA Oregon/Idaho. “The unknown is how geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran will continue to impact crude oil prices. That could mean volatility at the pumps, in addition to the normal seasonal spring increases.”

Refineries in California are already making the transition, with the state being the first in the nation to switch to this more expensive, environmentally friendly fuel.

The changeover typically leads to higher prices at the pump due to a combination of factors, including refinery maintenance, reduced output, and the higher cost of producing summer-blend fuel, according to the American Automobile Association, In addition, while crude oil prices have been relatively stable, the switch to summer-blend has put additional pressure on West Coast prices.

Summer-blend gasoline is formulated with a lower Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) to reduce evaporation during hotter temperatures, a key requirement to combat air pollution in California’s warmer months, the press release from AAA says.

While it’s good for the environment, it also makes the gasoline more expensive to produce.

For example, while gas prices on the East Coast are relatively stable for now, California drivers are already feeling the pinch. California has the highest gas prices in the nation, with an average of $4.59 per gallon as of mid-February 2026 — well above the national average of $2.92 per gallon, according to AAA.

The switch to summer-blend gasoline isn’t unique to California, but it does affect the state more immediately.

While other states begin making the switch closer to May 1, California refineries start the process much earlier, with some areas requiring summer-blend fuel as soon as April 1.

California’s strict environmental regulations and its unique market dynamics mean the state’s drivers are the first to feel the pain of the changeover….

Small Georgia Town Is at the Center of Latest ICE Fight

Democrat lawmakers in Georgia have proposed legislation to prevent taxpayer money from being used to build U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in the state.

Georgia state Sen. Jaha Howard introduced the bill in response to ICE’s reported plans to build facilities in Social Circle and Oakwood. He was joined by state Sen. RaShaun Kemp and South Fulton City Councilwoman Helen Zenobia Willis to announce the legislation.

“We are here because of a proposal of a 10,000-bed detention facility in a town with fewer than 5,000 residents. That should give every Georgian pause,” Howard said, according to CBS News Atlanta.

The South Fulton City Council recently voted to move forward with zoning changes aimed at blocking ICE detention facilities. The Department of Homeland Security, however, plans to continue expanding detention space in Georgia.

The local opposition follows President Donald Trump’s promise to deport millions of illegal aliens—and backlash that has ensued in communities like Minneapolis, where protests led to violent confrontations with ICE.

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll last week revealed that 61% of Americans support the deportation of illegal aliens, even as an equal number don’t agree with ICE’s tactics.

“Secretary Noem has stated that she is willing to work with officials on both sides of the aisle to expand detention space to help ICE law enforcement carry out the largest deportation effort in American history,” McLaughlin said.

She added that “ICE is targeting criminal illegal aliens, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members and more,” noting that 70% of ICE arrests involve illegal aliens charged with or convicted of a crime in the United States.

“Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, ICE has new funding to expand detention space to keep these criminals off American streets before they are removed for good from our communities,” she said.

Georgia state Rep. Houston Gaines told The Daily Signal that he has worked closely with ICE to promote public safety in Georgia.  …

Illinois diversity commissioner did not properly disclose $23K side job

A member of Illinois’ highly-paid diversity commission disclosed a side job to state officials in a manner that masked the $22,500 she earned for it, an investigation by The Center Square found.

Certain state officials are required by law to disclose secondary sources of income that exceed $7,500 in any year. The disclosures are required annually to expose potential conflicts of interest.

It is a misdemeanor crime to knowingly file a false or incomplete disclosure.

In regard to the seven members of the Commission on Equity and Inclusion, the disclosures have also been a window into their work schedules. Each commissioner makes about $150,000 a year but have lax schedules and fewer responsibilities compared with their counterparts elsewhere in state government.

Further, they are allowed by law to work other paid jobs, unlike other state board members.

The disclosures and other publicly available information indicate most of the commissioners have worked other jobs during their tenures.

Some lawmakers and state Republican party leaders have questioned, based on The Center Square’s findings, whether the commissioners’ high pay is warranted, given their responsibilities and performance. They have promised to question commissioners or staff when they come before their committees this session.

One of the commissioners key goals is to increase the number of businesses owned by racial minorities and women that are eligible for preference in state contracting, but that number has dropped by nearly half during their tenures…

Shocking figures on Karen Bass’ failures since Palisades wildfires revealed: Newt Gingrich

Less than 0.2% of the houses destroyed in the Palisades wildfires have been rebuilt under Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’ mismanagement, according to bombshell figures shared by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

In the 14 months since flames obliterated 6,571 houses in unincorporated Los Angeles County, only 13 properties have been rebuilt, a report from the Maryland-based nonprofit Unleash Prosperity revealed.

The LA City portion of the Palisades had a similar number of homes destroyed, and the rebuilding figures are feared to be similar.

Approximately 13,000 homes were destroyed across the Palisades and surrounding areas when fires burned for 25 days, scorching an area of more than 23,000 acres and leading to $25 billion of property damage.

While more than 1,000 rebuilding permits have been issued, and roughly 340 to 900 projects are under construction or in progress, only a fraction have been completed.

“This is insane. A country that can’t rebuild houses in a year is a country that can’t possibly keep up with communist China and its focus on engineering and achievement over lawyers, bureaucracy and politics,” Newt Gingrich said in a post on X sharing the Unleash Prosperity figures.

Bureaucracy, including severe insurance delays and sky-high construction costs, has been blamed for the agonizingly slow rebuilding progress.

Homeowners must navigate complex regulations and get approvals from over a dozen city departments, with average wait times extending for months.

“Governor Newsom should be asked about this disaster everywhere he goes. Both the House and the Senate should be holding hearings on this absurdity,” the former Georgia Rep. said.

“The Department of Housing and Urban Affairs should have a formal investigation and a proposal to radically streamline home building in America,” Gingrich added. “This is nuts!”….

Macron says France will let temporary deployment of nuclear-armed aircraft to allies

French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday that his country will allow nuclear-armed aircraft to be temporarily deployed to allies.

Macron said that this would “provide for the temporary deployment of elements of our strategic air forces to allied countries,” adding that no nation besides France will be able to decide the use of nuclear weapons, The according to the Associated Press.

Talks regarding the arrangements have already begun with the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Sweden, and Denmark, Macron said during a speech at a military base at L’Ile Longue, which hosts France’s ballistic missile submarines.

He also said France will increase its number of nuclear warheads from the current level of below 300, which would be the first such increase since at least 1992, but did not give a figure for how many.

“I have decided to increase the numbers of warheads of our arsenal,” Macron said. “My responsibility is to ensure that our deterrence maintains – and will maintain in the future – its assured destructive power.”

France is the only nuclear power in the European Union, since the U.K., which is the only other European country with a nuclear deterrent, is no longer an EU member.

“If we had to use our arsenal, no state, however powerful, could shield itself from it, and no state, however vast, would recover from it,” Macron said.

At least nine hospitalized after Cincinnati nightclub shooting

At least nine people were hospitalized after a shooting at a Cincinnati nightclub and concert venue, according to police.

The shooting occurred at around 1 a.m. at Riverfront Live on Sunday, WLWT reported.

Cincinnati interim Police Chief Adam Hennie said that multiple shots were fired inside the venue, where 500 to 600 people were inside. He explained that multiple detailed officers were stationed in the parking lot of the venue, allowing a quick police response to the disturbance.

Police said that nine people suffered gunshot wounds.

A University of Cincinnati Health spokesperson told WLWT on Sunday that they received eight patients from the shooting: six were treated and released, and two were in stable condition. Another victim was transported from the shooting scene to Good Samaritan Hospital.

Police said that no suspect has been apprehended in the case.

The incident follows one in July 2025, captured on an eyewitness video that went viral, in which a man who fell to the ground is repeatedly kicked and hit by multiple people as he struggled to get to his feet. Later in the video, a woman is seen being punched by a man before falling to the ground unconscious, her head slamming down onto the concrete….

Gavin Newsom’s California is looting Medicaid in broad daylight

The last month has brought renewed attention to crime lords allegedly stealing $3.5 billion from California’s hospice system. Congress and the Trump administration are investigating, and rightly so. The dying deserve dignity, not to have their safety net looted.

But hospice is not the only target — and not every thief wears a ski mask.

Across California, politicians and their allies exploit Medicaid — a federal program meant to help the poor — to paper over budget holes they created. They do it through a bureaucratic “shell game” that shifts billions while patients and taxpayers pick up the tab.

The mechanism is called an intergovernmental transfer. Local public providers or government agencies spend Medicaid funds. The state then counts that spending as its own and uses it to draw matching federal dollars. When that money arrives, the state sends it back to the same providers as higher reimbursements. Those providers end up receiving more than they originally spent, even though the state did not put up additional state funds.

This scheme has driven ambulance reimbursements into the stratosphere.

Between 2022 and 2024, the cost of publicly funded ambulances in California soared from $339 to $1,168 per trip. The state now asks for 2026 reimbursements to rise to more than $1,600. That increase means more than $1,200 per ambulance ride that does not go to patient care. It pads the state’s books and props up obligations like California’s failing pension system.

This is not a straightforward street scam. It is worse: legalized looting with official letterhead.

Families pay the price. Patients pay the price. Honest providers pay the price.

Imagine what that extra $1,200 per ride could do if it went where Medicaid dollars are supposed to go: patient care, staffing, equipment, response times. Now imagine what happens when ambulance companies that are not connected to the right politicians cannot compete and start shutting down. When that happens, the people harmed will not be the insiders who designed the system. It will be the sick, the poor, and the vulnerable.

I know what it means to depend on a functioning safety net….

Catch up on what’s happening in Iran: US jets shot down, girls’ school bombed, and more

As events continue to unfold in the Middle East in the aftermath of Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion, military leaders have provided some crucial updates to the events of this weekend.

The United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran at approximately 1:15 a.m. ET on Saturday morning, according to a U.S. Central Command post summarizing the first 24 hours of the operation. Since the beginning of the operation, the attacks have continued consistently, and Iran has repeatedly retaliated.

On the first day of the attacks, President Donald Trump confirmed that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a series of strikes on Saturday.

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Trump wrote. “This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS. He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do.”

Trump announced on Sunday afternoon that he was informed that the U.S. had destroyed and sunk nine Iranian naval ships, “some of them relatively large and important.” He added that “we are going after the rest — They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also! In a different attack, we largely destroyed their Naval Headquarters.”

U.S. Central Command, which is responsible for the territory in which the conflict has unfolded, released a press statement on Monday morning regarding “an apparent friendly fire incident” in Kuwait.

The brief statement reported that three United States F-15E Strike Eagles, flying in supporting of Operation Epic Fury, were “mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses” during an active combat situation involving Iranian aircraft. The press release confirmed that all six aircrew ejected, were safely recovered, and are in stable condition.

Another major event includes the bombing of a girls’ elementary school in Iran. According to the New York Times, at least 175 people, presumably mostly children, were killed in a bombing attack in southern Iran…

VIDEO — Police: 54 Arrested During Violent Anti-ICE Protest in Minneapolis

Law enforcement cited and released 38 individuals while one person was booked into jail, Fox News reported, noting the Minnesota State Patrol said 15 others were arrested during the incident outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building.

“Demonstrators gathered at the building as part of a weeklong effort to oppose ICE action in the state,” MPR News reported Monday. Indeed, the news comes as leftists have been protesting lawful immigration enforcement in cities across the nation as President Donald Trump’s administration works to safeguard American communities from illegal alien crime.

Video footage taken outside the Whipple building shows officers taking makeshift shields away from the protesters and putting zip ties on their wrists:

In a statement on Sunday, the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office said it was an unlawful assembly and detailed how the protesters were allegedly causing chaos at the scene:

“This morning, our deputies issued dispersal orders at an unlawful assembly outside the Whipple Building after individuals blocked roadways, blocked access to local businesses, dumped glass into the street, and threw rocks, ice chunks and water bottles at law enforcement creating a serious public safety hazard. Arrests are being made,” the agency wrote….
