ABC & NBC Downplay the Islamic Persecution of Christians in Nigeria

Two of the three major broadcast networks, ABC and NBC, attempted to depreciate the ongoing Islamic genocide against Christians in Nigeria during their morning programs on Monday.
Over the weekend, President Trump threatened U.S. military intervention if Nigeria’s government failed to stop the mass-slaughtering themselves, while also ignoring comments from Nigeria’s president being open for the military assistance.
The mainstream media started to pay attention to the atrocity only because Trump made it newsworthy. Both networks fixated on Trump’s guarantee to enter the region “guns-a-blazing” in the absence of swift action by Nigerian authorities over the last several months.
On ABC, Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan and chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce didn’t deny the existence of violence in Nigeria, but described it as a religiously-neutral phenomenon:
The BBC also reported that the violence has been “roughly evenly divided” between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria, which missed the point that it was still sectarian violence driven by radical Islamic terrorism.
On NBC’s Today, senior White House correspondent Garrett Haake simply pitted Trump’s stance against that of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu without providing any fact-based background to serve as context:….
Not Quite Yet, China

China has tentatively agreed to curtail sales of fentanyl to Mexico and other Latin American nations.
For three decades, Beijing sent the raw product to Latin American and Mexican cartels. The gangs then processed and disguised the toxic brew as less lethal narcotics and prescription drugs for export. The cartels laundered the profits with additional Chinese help, along with the feigned ignorance of the Mexican government.
Since 1999, imported fentanyl-laced drugs have killed approximately 600,000 Americans through addiction and accidental overdoses. That number nears the death toll of all Americans killed during the Civil War.
Following Donald Trump’s recent visit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, China is reportedly set to lift restrictions on its rare earth mineral exports to the U.S. That was a self-interested move, since the U.S. and its allies were already mobilizing to become immune to Chinese cut-offs. Xi Jinping also agreed to resume purchases of U.S. soybeans.
Trump’s concessions include agreeing to reduce tariffs on Chinese goods to 47 percent, while maintaining tariffs on most Chinese imports at levels still higher than those of almost any other importing country.
No doubt, more details will emerge of other concessions. Both China and Trump’s domestic critics will undoubtedly seek to refute the administration’s insistence that the U.S. won most of the advantages.
For nearly half a century, over the Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, Trump’s first, and Biden administrations, Americans more or less came to accept that more Americans would die from fentanyl than were lost in all foreign wars in U.S. history. If China really does comply with its agreement, and the cartels cannot find alternate sources of raw product, then Trump might become the greatest savior of American lives in U.S. history.
So why did the Chinese government agree to these tentative agreements, given that no prior president has been able to stop the Chinese fentanyl supply chain or to tariff its goods without fearing a destructive trade war?
Trump dealt from a position of strength, here and abroad, in a way that prior presidents did not. He had permanently destroyed the half-century-long utopian fantasy of Wall Street investors and left-wing dreamers that the more concessions China received, the more it would become affluent, powerful, and politically Westernized. That toxic narrative had insisted that an emerging consumer and reformist class would inevitably democratize the country as the ossified Chinese Communist Party died on the vine.
Instead, the opposite happened.
China stole Western technology with impunity, manipulated its currency, made a mockery of copyright and patent laws, and spread its Belt-and-Road imperialism. It did indeed become affluent and powerful, but also arrogant. The communist government rearmed, destroyed the rules of the world trade system, bullied its neighbors, created the greatest global mercantile system in world history, and sought every means to weaken the West, from the Spratly Islands and the Panama Canal to the World Health Organization and the Wuhan lab—along with former Senator Dianne Feinstein’s chauffeur and Rep. Eric Swalwell’s intern.
Yet in 2025, a shocked China reviewed the first ten months of the Trump administration and found it erratic, unpredictable—and ultimately scary. It then concluded that the U.S. has finally awakened, as Trump began augmenting the sources of U.S. power, much of it underrated or ignored over the last decades…..
Man charged in deaths of pregnant estranged wife and their son

On July 31, 25-year-old Sidney Wilson V of Stoutland, Missouri, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, and a count of armed criminal action in relation to the death of his pregnant estranged wife. Reagan Lynn Wilson, 21, was pregnant with her son Silas when Wilson killed her on June 5. After a thorough investigation, Wilson was arrested on the basis of probable cause.
The statement of probable cause includes several pieces of evidence that led to Wilson’s arrest. The Lebanon Police Department’s statement of probable cause explained, “Through my training and experience, I know that whenever that many shots are fired towards one person, the suspect typically knows the victim personally and is considered ‘overkill’.”
Wilson and Reagan had been estranged since December, and Wilson had recently received a message telling him to stay away from Reagan and her family, which angered him. The killer’s face was covered in the footage from a security camera, but a deputy who knew Wilson was confident it was him.
The statement also noted that Wilson did not seem to be concerned about the state of his wife and preborn child. Although she passed away immediately, Silas was delivered and survived for about a week.
“lt should also be noted that during the time S. Wilson was at the hospital… family never heard him ask about the status… during the entire investigation S. Wilson has never once asked about the status of the investigation and where we were on locating a suspect in the investigation; he only asked about when he could get his vehicle back.”
On October 20, Wilson pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is scheduled for December 15. However, he also requested a change of judge and venue, and it remains unclear as to how these requests will affect the trial.

Video: Police interview man accused of killing Uber driver due to ‘stress’

A man is facing the death penalty after being accused of shooting and killing an Uber driver. He told police that he was trying to blow off steam, and we are now hearing his interview with officers after his arrest.
In his interview, 18-year-old Sheliky Sanchez Jr. admitted that shooting the man was his way of coping with stress. He says, “It just seemed so easy. He wasn’t even looking at me. He was just facing forward.”
In August, Albuquerque police responded to a shooting in southwest Albuquerque, where they found Joseph Andrus, an Uber driver, who had been shot and killed.
According to authorities, Sanchez Jr. had his girlfriend order an Uber, specifically selecting Andrus as his driver after scrolling and looking at other drivers. After being picked up, Andrus drove Sanchez Jr. to a random location near Central and Coors. Police say that Sanchez Jr. then shot and killed Andrus before stealing his car. He was arrested the following day.
During the police interrogation, Sanchez Jr. expressed that he was stressed with life and needed an outlet. “I wasn’t myself, I guess. I don’t know. I seen the car, I seen how easy it looked. And I just wanted. I don’t know what the **** I wanted,” Sanchez states during the interview.
He also claimed that he had shot and killed people in the past, but has not faced charges for those incidents.
Sanchez Jr. was facing a state murder charge, but they have since been dropped as he now faces federal charges for carjacking resulting in death, using a firearm resulting in death, and kidnapping resulting in death. A trial date for his federal case has not yet been scheduled. If convicted, he could face a mandatory life sentence in prison or even the death penalty.

ICE Nabs Over 120 Illegal Immigrant Drivers After Probe Exposes Major Loophole Found In Texas DMV

Federal agents arrested more than 120 illegal immigrant drivers on Texas roadways amid an investigation that found a major loophole in the Lone Star State that has allowed individuals lacking immigration status to register vehicles.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement made the arrests in a single day last week in Houston as part of an effort to clear “our roads of dangerous, often unlicensed and uninsured, illegal aliens who should NOT be behind the wheel,” the agency said.
It comes as one Texas lawmaker probes officials after he “recently received alarming reports of illegal immigrants being able to register their vehicles” in Texas without a state license, The Daily Wire has learned.
Republican State Rep. Brian Harrison’s office sent a letter Monday to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board to crack down on state authorities issuing vehicle registrations to illegal immigrants.
“The Texas government should be a force multiplier of President Trump’s efforts to combat illegal immigration, not enabling or incentivizing it,” Harrison said. “It is past time the Texas government starts acting like we are in a battle for the future of western civilization, because we are. I’m demanding action now!”
Harrison cited Texas law that gives the state “broad authority by the Legislature to determine what personal identification must be presented in order to register a vehicle.”…
Duffy: We are going to go after the CDL mills

Safety concerns, two triple-fatals involving 18-wheelers and a closer look at commercial driver’s licenses has led the U.S. Department of Transportation to say, “We are going to go after the CDL mills.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy at a news conference said some schools for CDLs throughout the country are saying applicants can operate a tractor-trailer rig when in fact they cannot. Also, he said, many do not check citizenship or proficiency in the English language.
“A lot of these students are coming through these schools,” Duffy said. “They can’t speak the language, and many of them are not proficient in the English language. Many of them don’t have the skills to operate big rigs on the roads, but nonetheless, the schools are certifying that they are qualified.
“They don’t have documentation that they are citizens. So we’re going to go after the CDL mills that are issuing licenses across the country, sending certification into our state DOTs saying that you have a qualified individual to drive a big rig, licensed in your state. Truth is, they are not.”
Duffy promised serious consequences. Along with that, he said companies hiring the drivers from the CDL mills will also be investigated.

Former CIA Director John Brennan erupts in anger after being pressed on Hunter Biden’s laptop
Former CIA Director John Brennan furiously shouted down a man who confronted him over his decision to sign the 2020 letter stating that the Hunter Biden laptop story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
Conservative national security consultant Thomas Speciale pressed Brennan last Thursday during a conference event hosted by the Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy, and International Security at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
In the viral video from the incident, Brennan got in Speciale’s face, shouting, “You misrepresented that! We never said it was disinformation; we said it was Russian influence operations, which is what they do. There’s a big difference.”
Speciale asserted that former FBI Director James Comey “knew” that the story wasn’t a Russian “influence” operation, further pressing Brennan.
“No, you don’t know that!” Brennan shouted back.
“I’m not going to waste my time with you,” he added, before waving Speciale off and walking away….

Farmworkers Are Heroes After Rescuing 20 Children from Burning School Bus in California

Two California farmers were honored recently for being the first ones to help save over 20 students aboard a school bus that caught fire.
Long before the Madera Country Fire Department arrived on scene, Angel Zarco and Carlos Perea were there, and in fact, the pair noticed the smoke billowing from the back of the bus even before the driver.
They quickly alerted the driver and helped evacuate all the students on board before hightailing it to a safe distance as the school bus began to burn.
At a meeting of the Madera County Board of Supervisors, the men were proclaimed as heroes of the community, who acted to the “very highest standards.”
“We were just making sure the kids were far away enough so that they wouldn’t get hurt,” Zarco said. “The bus caught fire right away, probably within like two minutes, three minutes. It all happened right away.”
California Fire Division Chief Larry Pendarvis said simply that buses can be replaced, but lives cannot.
“We can’t thank you enough for assisting prior to our resources arriving,” he said live on ABC30 Action News.
Perea said he believes the Good Lord had put them at that intersection that morning to save those kids, and that seeing his daughter among the onlookers at the board meeting when he was honored by their community was one of the best feelings he could imagine.
Levin: Capitalism Creates Wealth While Socialism Breeds Destitution
Mark Levin: “Capitalism is not based on some 34-year-old’s ideology, or anybody’s ideology or philosophy. It’s a voluntary, spontaneous system of human interaction.
Nobody invented it. It’s not an ideology. It’s been going on since the beginning of mankind. That’s the truth.”
Childlike sex dolls sold online by Chinese fast-fashion site

Shein has been reported to authorities in France for selling a “sex doll with a childlike appearance.” The doll, about three feet tall and resembling a little girl, was described as having a “realistic” body and genitalia. France’s consumer watchdog, DGCCRF, noted that the product’s description implied child pornography, prompting them to refer the case to the public prosecutor.
Shein removed the product and stated they have launched an internal investigation.
The company, facing multiple penalties for previous violations, emphasized a “zero-tolerance policy” for inappropriate content. The controversy arises as Shein prepares to open its first physical store in Paris amid criticism over its business practices, including allegations of forced labor and environmental harm.
