EXC: Biden Has Already Begun Buying COVID-19 Equipment, Hiring Pandemic ‘Safety Protocol’ Enforcers.

The federal government has started purchasing COVID-19 equipment and hiring advisors on “safety protocols” amidst speculation the Biden White House will reinstate pandemic-era lockdowns and mandates, War Room can reveal.

The unearthed government contracts from entities including the Department of Defense (DOD) show millions in taxpayer funds being used to purchase COVID-19 equipment such as test kits.

Some of the contracts, which are traceable via the federal government’s spending database, are even scheduled to begin in future months such as September and October.

The DOD, for example, gave Hologic Sales and Service LLC a $1.5 million contract beginning on October 1st that’s set to conclude in May of 2024. The federal database reveals the funds are for “Hologic covid testing services in support of the department of pathology at Madigan army medical center, Tacoma, WA 98431. (new delivery order).”

Chinese Energy Firm That Paid Hunter Millions Also Funded NGO That Advised UN On Climate Change, Archives Show

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked firm and its affiliates paid Hunter Biden-tied shell companies and associates more than $8 million in a web of complex financial maneuvers, according to the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.

Much of that money changed hands after CEFC’s NGO arm, called the China Energy Fund Committee, established the “Powering the Future We Want” grant program with the United Nations and an annual scholarship prize alongside the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), according to an archived CEFC NGO webpage.

CEFC’s business arm fully funded the CEFC NGO as “a high-end global think-tank to expand international cooperation” on energy, according to archived webpages, and the NGO received “special consultative status” with the UN in 2011, according to the State Department.

Beyond these relationships with the UN, CEFC’s NGO also utilized some of its UN contacts to perpetuate international bribery schemes, one of which led to the eventual conviction of the NGO’s nominal leader, Patrick Ho, in 2018, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York.

By early Monday, remnants of the storm that first brought soaking rains to Mexico’s arid Baja California peninsula and the border city of Tijuana, threatened Nevada and as far north as Oregon and Idaho with flooding.

Southern Californians were battling flooded roads, mudslides, and downed trees.

Southern California got another surprise Sunday afternoon as an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 hit near Ojai, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) northwest of downtown Los Angeles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was felt widely and was followed by smaller aftershocks.

Deadly Washington listeria outbreak linked to milkshakes sold at restaurant

The Frugals restaurant in Tacoma, Wash., where the milkshakes were sold, according to health officials. (Google Maps)

The Washington State Department of Health says the foodborne outbreak responsible for the deaths and three hospitalizations originated with bacteria present in “all milkshake flavors” sold at a Frugals location in Tacoma.

“Investigators found listeria in the ice cream machines, which were not cleaned correctly. No other Frugals restaurants are believed to be affected,” the department said in a statement. “The restaurant stopped using its ice cream machines Aug. 8, but listeria can sicken people up to 70 days later.”

Although most people avoid serious illness after eating food contaminated with listeria, the department is warning those who “are pregnant, aged 65 or older and those with weakened immune systems [to] call their health care provider if they ate a Frugals’ Tacoma milkshake between May 29 and Aug. 7, 2023, and have listeria symptoms.

The first tropical storm to hit Southern California in 84 years, Hilary dropped more than half an average year’s worth of rain on some areas, including Palm Springs, which saw nearly 3.18 inches (8 centimeters) of rain by Sunday evening.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami downgraded Hilary to a post-tropical storm in its early Monday advisory, and warned that “continued life-threatening and locally catastrophic flooding” was expected over portions of the southwestern U.S. on Monday.

All coastal warnings were discontinued.

Company behind Michigan electric vehicle battery plant registered as Chinese foreign organization

While the energy company Gotion, Inc. is based out of Fremont, Calif., Foreign Agents Registration Act documents filed by the corporation earlier this year show that it “is wholly owned and controlled” by Gotion High-Tech, which is based out of Hefei, a city in eastern China.

Michigan residents, Republicans and environmental groups have voiced opposition to Gotion’s plans to build a $2.4 billion electric vehicle battery plant near Big Rapids with more than $1 billion in taxpayer support.

The Chinese parent company’s governing articles state: “The Company shall set up a Party organization and carry out Party activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China.”

Citing sources, KTRK reported that Garcia-Rodriguez “made a full confession.”

Garcia-Rodriguez – a Guatemalan national – reportedly crossed the U.S. southern border illegally in January. He allegedly surrendered to U.S. Customs and Border Protection in El Paso, Texas.

However, he was released to immigration sponsors in the Baton Rouge area of Louisiana. Pasadena Police Chief Josh Bruegger said attempts to contact the sponsors had been unsuccessful.

Illinois School District Fires Teacher Who Claims to Be a Satanist and Suffers From Psychosis

The author also found a Facebook cover photo from Martin’s account of what is likely a shot from a movie. At least, I hope it is, as it shows a young woman soaked with blood. From the photo, she appears to be dying or was just recently killed. A pair of bloody hands is in the foreground. The picture is available in the original article here.

Users of X wanted to know more about Martin and how this person ended up as an elementary teacher at the school. According to Libs of TikTok, the district originally turned off the comments and deleted its social media posts regarding Martin.

However, the Superintendent announced that there would be an investigation. At a meeting this past Sunday, the school board voted to terminate Martin. Libs of TikTok raises the point that the screening process for the 33C school district seems woefully inadequate.

Eight years of hurt: Canada’s growing fury with Justin Trudeau

CREDIT: Sean Gallup/Getty Images Europe.

Canadians have finally fallen out of love with Trudeau. The shine has come off a career that at times seemed to defy political gravity. Instead of Trudeaumania, the nation is suffering from Trudeau fatigue.

The Liberal prime minister’s approval ratings have slumped below 30pc among voters aged 18 to 34, according to national polling group the Angus Reid Institute.

This is the group whose enthusiasm helped get Trudeau elected in 2015, re-elected in 2019 and again – just about – in 2021.

Voting intentions tell the same story, with a widening gap between the ruling Liberals and the Conservative opposition. Disillusionment has been fuelled by economic factors, including soaring interest rates and a housing crisis.

Mortgage costs on an average home in Canada now eat up 60pc of typical incomes, according to the National Bank. The figure is 90pc in Toronto and over 100pc in Vancouver. For first-time buyers, prices are simply unaffordable. Their rage is focused on the man they trusted with their votes, not once but thrice.

Saudi Forces Killed Hundreds of Migrants at Yemeni Border, Report Says

(AP Photo/Nariman El-Mofty, File)

Border guards in Saudi Arabia killed at least hundreds of Ethiopian immigrants seeking refuge in the kingdom between March 2022 and June 2023, at times shooting people, including women and children, from close range, according to a new report released by Human Rights Watch.

Fleeing conflict in their country, hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians have attempted the perilous journey through Yemen, a country in the midst of a civil war, to reach oil-rich Saudi Arabia, a land that ostensibly promised them more opportunities.

But upon reaching their destination, they reportedly found a new kind of brutality.

US citizens urged to leave Belarus immediately

The updated travel warning comes after bordering countries Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have stepped up security along the border over concerns about Russian Wagner mercenary forces exiled in the country.

The State Department, in its warning, encouraged Americans still in Belarus to depart the country immediately and categorized the country as a Level 4 risk, the highest security warning.

Belarus’s longtime leader Alexander Lukashenko, known as Europe’s last dictator, has been a key facilitator of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine, and is under a catalog of U.S. sanctions for human rights abuses and political repression against Belarusian people who challenged his claim to election victory in 2020.

Iranian Delegation Arrives In Moscow To Discuss Ground Forces Cooperation

An Iranian military delegation has arrived in Moscow to discuss cooperation between Iranian and Russian ground forces, the state news agency TASS reported on August 21, citing Russia’s Defense Ministry.

Russia and Iran, both under Western economic sanctions, have forged closer relations in the military sphere and other areas since Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine.

The West has accused Iran of selling large numbers of drones for use against Ukraine, something Tehran denies.

Iran, which Amnesty International recently slammed for turning its prisons into “killing fields,” has executed at least eight individuals — most of whom were incarcerated for drug offenses — in a span of three days, local activists said.

The Baluch Activists Campaign said on August 21 that four executions — all linked to drug-related offences — took place at the Zahedan prison.

The group identified the victims as Abdulsamad Khadem, a 29-year-old from Zahak; Yaqub Ejbari, a father of eight from Qarqaruk village; Mohammad Anwar Barahui and an individual with the surname Qanbarzehi, both of whom were from Zahedan, which is located in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan.

In addition, two Baluch prisoners — named Abdulsamad Shahuzehi and Mahmud Rigi — were executed in the Zahedan prison on August 19 after being handed qisas (retribution) sentences for a joint murder dating back to 2012.

The advocacy group said that since April, 84 Baluch inmates, including four women, have been executed.

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has announced the seizure of assets estimated to be worth more more than 1 billion hryvnias ($25 million) that are owned by Russian Colonel-General Valery Kapashin, the head of Russia’s chemical weapons disposal agency.

Around 20 commercial establishments in the Poltava region, including restaurants and hotels, were seized.

The businesses were registered under the names of Kapashin’s daughter and son-in-law, who allegedly acquired Russian citizenship and left for Russia before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Kapashin has been under investigation in Ukraine for supporting an aggressor state and funding terrorism.

According to a video that circulated online, six young people surround a boy. The gang forces him to get on his knees and kiss their feet.

“Kiss, kiss,” the gang demands. After the boy complies with their requests by force, he is punched in his head and face several times. The gang laughs and leaves.

Germany is turning Ukraine against Poland

Last week, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna criticized Poland for protecting its agriculture and food market in the face of cheap Ukrainian grain.

The Ukrainians want membership in the European Union to justify the sacrifices they have made for independence, democracy, and freedom. However, they tend to blame their own government for being incompetent with the process and are concerned that the journey toward Western integration has slowed. This is why Stefanishyna appears to be banking on Ukraine’s acquiescence to Germany to speed up the membership process.

But Berlin has been pressurizing Kyiv in a similar way to how it criticizes Poland, picking on Ukraine’s problems with the rule of law and its economic needs.

Hunter Biden investigation: GOP chairmen subpoena FBI and IRS over ‘slow-walked’ inquiry

A pair of Republican chairmen subpoenaed four officials at the FBI and IRS on Monday to appear before Congress for depositions related to the Department of Justice’s investigation of Hunter Biden, escalating a fight over access to investigators into the president’s son.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) wrote in letters accompanying the subpoenas, which were obtained by the Washington Examiner, that they believed the officials had information about a critical meeting last year attended by special counsel David Weiss, the lead prosecutor in Biden’s case.

Two of the subpoenas were sent to FBI special agents Thomas Sobocinski and Ryeshia Holley, who work out of the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office.

Jordan, who issued those two subpoenas, said the pair would have had oversight responsibility for activity in the Wilmington Resident Office, where the investigation into Biden was based.

‘Shaking My Head’: Bill Hemmer Appears Stunned As Andy McCarthy Lays Out How Biden ‘Scheme’ Works

Hunter Biden’s lawyers allegedly threatened to put President Joe Biden on the witness stand if the Department of Justice brought charges for an illegal firearm purchase, Politico reported.

“President Biden now unquestionably would be a fact witness for the defense in any criminal trial,” Clark reportedly wrote. “This of all cases justifies neither the spectacle of a sitting President testifying at a criminal trial nor the potential for a resulting Constitutional crisis.”

“What about this idea that Hunter Biden’s lawyers floated maybe the threat or the idea that they would call the president of the United States to the stand? How do you think that went over with the president’s lawyers?” host Dana Perino asked.

“We know how it went over, Dana, because he was never charged. I know I’m like a broken record on this now. Every week we talk about this and every week I say another week has gone by and there’s no indictment. And the charges are disappearing, 2016’s gone, 2015’s gone, 2014 is gone. Really most crimes prior to 2018 are gone because they were never indicted. All the tax charges prior to 2017 are gone,” McCarthy said.

Freedom Caucus warns they won’t back short-term spending bill without concessions

The House Freedom Caucus released a letter Monday morning warning they won’t back a short-term spending bill that funds the government at last year’s levels unless they get major concessions that have no chance of passing the Senate, highlighting a major problem for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy could easily pass a short-term spending bill without the Freedom Caucus, but crossing them and bringing a short-term continuing resolution, or CR, to the floor could have political ramifications for the speaker.

The hardline conservative caucus says they won’t back a continuing resolution unless it includes a House border bill, a roll back of certain military policies at the Pentagon and deals with the “unprecedented weaponization of the Justice Department.”
