Despite promising safety review, FDA approves another generic abortion pill

The FDA has just approved a new generic version of Mifeprex (mifepristone 200mg) abortion pill, as evidenced by a letter sent to Evita Solutions, LLC, on September 30.

According to Dun & Bradstreet, the principal for Evita Solutions — a pharmaceutical manufacturer — is Robert Patane, and the business is located in Glen Allen, Virginia. According to Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Evita Solutions describes its mission as one to “normalize abortion” and make it “accessible to all.”

On Tuesday, the FDA quietly approved a new generic version of the abortion pill Mifeprex, as stated in a letter sent to Evita Solutions, LLC. Evita Solutions had previously sent an abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for mifepristone to the FDA on October 1, 2021.

In the letter, the FDA said the generic mifepristone tablets, 200 mg, are approved for use as of the date of the letter: September 30, 2025.

“We have completed the review of this ANDA and have concluded that adequate information has been presented to demonstrate that the drug meets the requirements for approval under the FD&C Act,” states the letter. “Accordingly the ANDA is approved, effective on the date of this letter. We have determined your Mifepristone Tablets, 200 mg to be bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug (RLD), Mifeprex (mifepristone) tablets, 200 mg, of Danco Laboratories, LLC NDA – 020687.”

The letter also states that the FDA will determine if a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS) “is necessary to ensure that the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks”:

“The details of the REMS requirements were outlined in our REMS notification letter dated January 26, 2022.

The Mifepristone REMS Program is an approved single, shared system (SSS) REMS for mifepristone 200 mg tablets, in a regimen with misoprostol, for the medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy through 70 days gestation; it includes Elements to Assure Safe Use (ETASU) and an implementation system.

Your final proposed REMS, received on April 16, 2025 is approved. Your product will be included in the Mifepristone REMS Program and will be posted on the FDA REMS website: http://www.fda.gov/rems.”

The REMS must be “fully operational” before the drug is made available for purchase.

The news of the FDA’s approval of a generic version of Mifeprex comes just days after HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the FDA is reviewing the safety of Mifeprex itself.

In June, Kennedy asked FDA Commissioner Martin Makary to “review the latest data” on the drug. He has accused the Biden administration of having “twisted the data” on the safety of the abortion pill.

In a letter dated September 19, Kennedy and Makary wrote, “HHS — through the FDA — is conducting its own review of the evidence, including real-world outcomes and evidence, relating to the safety and efficacy of the drug [mifepristone].”

Kennedy and Makary did not say when the review would be completed, but said, “We will keep you informed as the FDA’s review of mifepristone progresses.”…

REPORT: Christianity Today funded by major Planned Parenthood donor

Megan Basham, Daily Wire reporter and author of the book “Shepherds for Sale,” found evidence of the Hewlett Foundation’s significant funding for Christianity Today when negotiations began for the magazine to be sold to Canon Press. According to tax filings, Christianity Today has received over $1 million from the Hewlett Foundation — which is also Planned Parenthood’s second-largest funder:

Since 2022, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has become a major patron of Christianity Today, donating well over $1,000,000 to the outlet, records show. Included in the contributions is $400,000 for general operating support, $75,000 to develop a mobile app, and $600,000 to cover U.S. elections.

This makes Hewlett one of the magazine’s top disclosed donors, even though the NGO’s extensive abortion backing makes it a strange bedfellow for a Christian publication.

This is concerning, as Hewlett is a major donor to the abortion industry. The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation was created in 1966 by William R. Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, alongside David Packard of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, which also funnels enormous amounts of money worldwide for abortions.

Over the years, the Hewlett Foundation has funded multiple abortion organizations, including:

And that is just a sampling; there is much, much more….

Americans’ Trust In Corporate Media Hits Lowest Level Ever

Legacy media have spent years perpetuating some of the biggest hoaxes in modern history — and it appears the American public is continuing to notice.

On Thursday, Gallup released the results of its annual survey of Americans’ confidence in media. The poll’s baseline finding is that trust in the country’s “Democracy dies in darkness!” crowd is at the lowest point ever recorded.

According to the survey, just 28 percent of Americans expressed having a “‘great deal’ or ‘fair amount’ of trust in newspapers, television and radio to report the news fully, accurately and fairly.” That figure, Gallup noted, “is down from 31% last year and 40% five years ago,” and “marks the first time the measure has fallen below 30%.”

“Meanwhile, seven in 10 U.S. adults now say they have ‘not very much’ confidence (36%) or ‘none at all’ (34%),” the report reads.

Gallup highlighted how trust in media has declined among Americans of all political backgrounds.

While more Democrats and independents expressed “great” or “fair” confidence in the media (51 percent and 27 percent, respectively) than Republicans (8 percent), “the percentages with high confidence in reporting are at low points among all party groups.” Republicans’ 8 percent figure is the first time their level of trust in the media has dropped to single digits, according to the survey.

Gallup also flagged a stark divide among differing age groups when it comes to trust in legacy media. The poll found that while confidence in the press has declined across the board, a greater percentage of older Americans (65 and up) expressed having faith in media than younger Americans.

“Confidence in the mass media is historically low, with fewer than three in 10 Americans now placing trust in newspapers, television and radio to report the news fully, fairly and accurately,” Gallup concluded. “With confidence fractured along partisan and generational lines, the challenge for news organizations is not only to deliver fair and accurate reporting but also to regain credibility across an increasingly polarized and skeptical public.”

The findings are damning for so-called legacy “journalists” and “reporters” who have spent year after year hyping the biggest misinformation campaigns in modern U.S. history. For all their supposed concern about “disinformation,” these supposed professionals have partaken in pushing the Russia collusion hoax; the Kavanaugh gang-rape hoax, the “very fine people” hoax; the “suckers and losers” hoax; the Hunter Biden laptop hoax; and so much more within the past few years alone.

Emails show FDA, Johnson & Johnson knew of Tylenol autism risk for years

Internal emails and documents reveal that both Johnson & Johnson — the original maker of Tylenol — and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were aware for years of concerns over a potential link between the drug and autism.

The evidence emerged from documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation and released as part of a federal class action lawsuit against Kenvue, which took over Tylenol production in 2023. Johnson & Johnson had previously made the drug for decades.

As far back as 2008, Johnson & Johnson employees expressed concern about the growing body of studies pointing to a link between prenatal use of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and neurodevelopmental disorders like autism and ADHD. The FDA is now reportedly adding warnings to products containing acetaminophen.

“The weight of evidence is starting to feel heavy to me.”
— Rachel Weinstein, US director of epidemiology, Janssen (a Johnson & Johnson division)

In addition to the emails, a 2018 internal presentation marked “privileged and confidential” acknowledged a “somewhat consistent” association between Tylenol use during pregnancy and neurological issues in children. Despite this, the company chose not to fund further studies — fearing their research might confirm the risk. “Sticking their necks out” by funding further research was considered too risky internally, according to reporting by the Daily Caller.

The FDA itself also showed concern in documents obtained via FOIA. A 2019 meta-analysis by FDA scientists linked the drug to urogenital and neurodevelopmental risks. In 2022, another internal analysis focused on ADHD. Though portions of the 2022 recommendation were redacted, scientists reportedly urged caution for pregnant women.

“The onus to warn does not arise when there is a clear cause and effect. It arises when there are grounds to think there might be a problem.”
— David Healy, psychiatrist and expert witness in ongoing litigation

Meanwhile, public health officials and some scientists quoted by mainstream media have attempted to downplay the concerns — despite earlier research from the same scientists calling for stronger warnings. Kenvue continues to deny any causal link and insists its products are safe when used as directed…

Spain To Discuss Arms Embargo On Israel On October 7 Anniversary

The Spanish parliament will discuss imposing a full arms embargo on Israel on October 7, which was announced on Wednesday, according to Kan.

October 7, next Tuesday, is the two-year anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 massacre.

The embargo would completely prevent the sale of weapons to Israel and the purchase of Israeli weapons by Spain.

According to the Spanish newspaper, El Pais, American ships carrying arms to Israel were blocked from docking at two naval bases in Spain on Monday. The Rota (Cadiz) and Moron de la Frontera (Seville) bases are shared between the United States and Spain.

On September 1, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez banned ships and aircraft carrying weapons to Israel from docking at Spanish ports or entering Spanish airspace.

Shortly following that announcement, Sanchez also banned Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich from entering the country in a further attempt to pressure Israel to end the ongoing Israel-Hamas War and show solidarity with Gaza.

Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, there has been a massive uptick in antisemitic and anti-Israel attitudes, including from Sanchez himself.

Sanchez voiced his “admiration” for and praised pro-Palestinian protestors for disrupting the La Vuelta cycling race in mid-September. The chaotic protests, triggered by outrage at the participation of Israeli athletes in the race, led to the cancellation of the final leg of the race.

The Israeli ambassador to Spain, Dana Erlich, expressed her belief that the Spanish government was directly enabling the rise of antisemitism in the nation during a Wednesday interview with N12 news.

Court Holds Louisville Responsible For Trying To Silence Christian Photographer

In a victory for free speech on Tuesday, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky held Louisville accountable for violating the First Amendment rights of a wedding photographer and blogger and protected her freedom to speak messages that align with her religious beliefs.

Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing Chelsey Nelson and her photography studio filed the lawsuit Chelsey Nelson Photography v. Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government in 2019 because Louisville’s law prohibited Nelson from expressing her views on marriage on her studio’s website and threatened to compel her to create photographs and blogs celebrating a message about marriage she does not believe.

The district court kept a permanent bar in place that prevents Louisville from enforcing its law against Nelson in this way. The court also ordered Louisville to pay Nelson nominal damages for restricting her speech. Nominal damages are a type of compensation that remedy past harm, prevent future misconduct, and vindicate constitutional freedoms.

“Free speech is for everyone. As the U.S. Supreme Court held two years ago in 303 Creative v. Elenis, Americans have the freedom to express and create messages that align with their beliefs without fear of government punishment,” said ADF Senior Counsel Bryan Neihart. “For over five years, Louisville officials said they could force Chelsey to promote views about marriage that violated her religious beliefs. But the First Amendment leaves decisions about what to say with the people, not the government. The district court’s decisions rests on this bedrock First Amendment principle and builds on the victory in 303 Creative.”

“The government can’t force Americans to say things they don’t believe, and state officials have paid and will continue to pay a price when they violate this foundational freedom,” Nelson said. “The freedom to speak without fear of censorship is a God-given constitutionally guaranteed right. I’m grateful for my legal team at Alliance Defending Freedom that brought my case to victory not only for me, but for every other artist in Louisville.”

“[303 Creative] confirmed this Court’s 2022 interpretation of the First Amendment to bar the City of Louisville from enforcing an ordinance prohibiting wedding photographer Chelsey Nelson from stating her traditional (now dissenting) views on traditional marriage or declining to participate in those ceremonies,” the court wrote in its opinion.

In 2022, the district court ruled that the First Amendment protects Nelson’s freedom to create photographs and blogs promoting her religious beliefs about marriage and permanently blocked Louisville from enforcing its law against her. The city appealed that decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

While the case was on appeal, the U.S. Supreme Court decided 303 Creative v. Elenis, a monumental decision that held that government officials cannot force artists to create speech they disagree with. The Sixth Circuit returned the case to the district court after 303 Creative and other developments but otherwise kept the decision “in place.”

Yesterday, the district court confirmed its prior ruling in favor of free speech, kept the injunction protecting Nelson in effect, and awarded her nominal damages for the period of time that Louisville officials chilled her speech to vindicate her Louisville’s violation of her constitutional rights.

Franklin Graham: Progressive Secular Forces In Our Schools Are Out To Attack The Faith Of Our Young People

At a recent hearing of the White House Religious Liberty Commission, formed by President Donald Trump, commission members heard multiple reports of public school officials across the nation forbidding students to pray, mention the Bible or Jesus Christ, form Bible clubs, or even wear clothing with Christian messages.

Franklin Graham was among commission members who heard the powerful testimonies of students and parents facing deep-seated hostility from school officials. “It was pretty clear from listening to these students and parents that the progressive secular forces in our schools are out to destroy America by attacking the faith of our young people,” Franklin said. When afforded the opportunity to speak on the record at the hearing, Franklin made a bold proclamation for the power of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

President Trump addressed the hearing, stating: “America has always been a nation that believes in the power of prayer, and we will never apologize for our faith—ever, ever, never, never. We will never surrender our God-given rights. We will defend our liberties, our values, our sovereignty, and we will defend our freedom.”

The commission hearing was held at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., and Trump said that moments before addressing the commission, he had donated the Trump family Bible, given to him by his mother, to the museum. “For thousands of years,” he said, “the Bible has shaped civilization, ethics, art and literature, and it has brought hope, healing and transformation to untold millions and millions of lives. The Bible is also an important part of the American story.”

President Trump also asked for one million people to join America Prays, an initiative to pray for the nation each week between now and next July, when the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Below are troubling accounts from students and parents who offered testimony to the commission.

Justin Aguilar, North Carolina

When 2025 high school valedictorian Justin Aguilar submitted his proposed graduation speech to school officials, his planned reference to Jesus Christ was crossed out.

“It broke my heart,” Justin said. “These weren’t just lines on a paper or words that were crossed out. But Jesus is part of who I am. I was not allowed to mention the Name of my Friend, the Person who means so much to me.

“They said if I didn’t change the speech, they wouldn’t allow me to give it. They told me that I couldn’t talk about Jesus due to separation of church and state.”

But Justin spoke with the Liberty Counsel law firm, which confirmed that he was within his rights to mention Jesus. He resubmitted his speech—including his remarks about Jesus.

The district never gave him any further direction so, not knowing what might happen, Justin said in his speech, “I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has always loved me.”

“The crowd erupted,” Justin said. “So to every schoolteacher and administrator and district leader, you don’t have to censor students. You don’t have to be afraid of religious speech. I believe if more schoolteachers and officials knew what the law actually required, they would feel more confident to reject calls for censorship.”

Troops coming to Portland spawns “emergency” naked bike ride

Some Portlanders are getting ready to protest the looming deployment of federal troops in the most Portland way possible: by baring it all on bicycles.

Driving the news: The folks behind the World Naked Bike Ride are planning for an “emergency” event “in response to the military being deployed in our city,” per an Instagram post from the organizers.

  • An exact date hasn’t been announced, but “plans are being worked on,” the group said.

Zoom in: The World Naked Bike Ride has a long history of harnessing nudity as protest.

  • Their yearly escapades are billed as a protest against fossil fuels and Big Oil.

Between the lines: It’s unclear exactly when troops will arrive in the Rose City, though roughly 200 National Guard soldiers had reported for training at the Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center in Warrenton, Sen. Jeff Merkley said Wednesday.

  • That training — which includes crowd control tactics and use-of-force protocols — was expected to last between three and five days.

What we’re watching: Troops could arrive in Portland as soon as this weekend, depending on the outcome of Friday’s federal court hearing, in which the state is seeking a restraining order to block the deployment.

FACT-CHECK: Yes, Democrats are responsible for the shutdown

Democrat lawmakers were quick to pin the government shutdown on their Republican counterparts, conveniently sidestepping their role in the gridlock.

U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.) shared a post on X blaming Republicans for the shutdown.

“Civics 101: Republicans control all three branches of government. It’s their responsibility to pass a budget,” Houlahan wrote.

Other Democrat allies have shared similar half-truths on social media.

In response to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s comments that the Democrats were responsible, Matt Corridoni, a Democratic strategist, replied, “Republicans control all three branches of the government.”

Even former Vice President Kamala Harris chimed in on the debate, writing, “President Trump and Congressional Republicans just shut down the government because they refused to stop your health care costs from rising.”

“Let me be clear: Republicans are in charge of the White House, House, and Senate. This is their shutdown,” Harris added.

While the Republicans control the White House and hold a majority in both chambers of Congress, Democrats’ remarks overlook a fundamental truth about how the U.S. government is designed to function, deliberately empowering the minority to block legislation.

Republican lawmakers proposed a clean continuing resolution that, if passed, would have allowed the government to remain open by extending funding past the start of fiscal year 2026, which began on October 1. This CR would have acted as a temporary stopgap through November 21, allowing lawmakers time to negotiate a new full-year budget.

However, Democrats, who have refused to support the bill, blocked the bill by triggering a filibuster. Democrat lawmakers refused to budge unless Republicans allowed an extension for Affordable Care Act tax credits. It is important to note that these tax credits are set to expire at the end of the year, after the Republicans’ CR would already have dropped off….

Democrats Sue to Force Taxpayers to Subsidize Gender Ideology In Public Schools

A coalition of Democratic state attorneys general is fighting to continue taxpayer subsidies for public schools to teach gender ideology in sex education classes. The coalition is led by Washington state Attorney General Nick Brown, Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield, and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and includes 16 states and the District of Columbia. The complaint was filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court in Oregon.

In August, the Administration for Children and Families, an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services, warned 40 states and six territories to remove references to gender ideology from the educational materials of the federally funded Personal Responsibility Education Program, also known as PREP, which instructs teens to avoid pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The agency gave the states 60 days to remove references or risk losing federal funding.

“The federal government’s far-reaching efforts to erase people who don’t fit one of two gender labels [are] illegal and wrong — and would deny services to millions more in the process,” Brown said in a public statement. “These young people are treated equally under Washington state and federal laws, and we intend to make sure of it.”

In August, the Administration for Children and Families terminated the PREP grant to California when the state did not remove the gender ideology from the education material.

“Accountability is coming,” HHS Acting Assistant Secretary Andrew Gradison said in public statement after the warning letter to the states and territories. “Federal funds will not be used to poison the minds of the next generation or advance dangerous ideological agendas. The Trump administration will ensure that PREP reflects the intent of Congress, not the priorities of the Left.”

Joining Washington, Oregon, and Minnesota in the coalition suing the Trump administration are Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.

The complaint alleges the administration’s gender policy would mean a loss of $35 million in federal funding for the 16 plaintiff states and Washington, D.C. if they keep teaching gender ideology. The plaintiff states also contend that the administration’s move violates the federal Administrative Procedure Act and violates the intent of Congress in creating the grant program.

Trump declares drug cartels operating in Caribbean unlawful combatants

President Donald Trump has declared drug cartels to be unlawful combatants and says the United States is now in a “non-international armed conflict,” according to a Trump administration memo obtained Thursday by The Associated Press, after recent U.S. strikes on boats in the Caribbean.

A person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to comment publicly said the Congress was notified about the designation by Pentagon officials on Wednesday.

The move comes after the U.S. military last month carried out three deadly strikes against alleged drug smuggling boats in the Caribbean. At least two of those operations were carried out on vessels that originated from Venezuela.

Pentagon officials could not provide a list of the designated terrorist organizations at the center of the conflict, a matter that was a major source of frustration for some of the lawmakers who were briefed, according to the person…

Man’s Best Friend Recognized as Dog of the Year For Saving Him from a Bear Attack

Craig Campbell and his Doberman named Night – Supplied, Craig Campbell

A Canadian dog-lover has gotten to learn all over again why they call the animal Man’s best friend after his own brave pooch deterred a bear attack.

On a familiar trail in Cochrane, near Calgary, Craig Campbell was on a walk with his dog, a 10-year-old Doberman named Night. It was a trail he had taken with Night several times, but the routine physical activity suddenly turned into a life or death situation.

There in the bushes, a grizzly sow with her 2 cubs had wandered into the woods sandwiched between farms. Even still, Campbell had his bear spray, but having it is only half the challenge; the other half is using it.

“I managed two thoughts,” Campbell recalled in an interview with CTV News. “First of all, I said to myself, ‘This can’t be happening.’ And then I realized I wasn’t going to get the bear spray out (in time) and I said to myself, ‘I’m about to die.’”

Just then, Night came from beside in a flash and put himself between man and bear. Towering 7 feet on its hind legs above the crouching, barking dog, it gave enough time for Campbell to arm himself, but by then the bear huffed and went back to her cubs.

An avid trainer, Campbell has for years been training Night in the German sport of Schutzhund, often used to train the breed and others like it as police dogs. He believes this is why Night ran at the bear when others might have ran away, tail between their legs as it were….

New York state’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac offices will permanently close in direct response to Attorney General Letitia James’ “corrupt and dangerous business practices” in the state, Fox News Digital learned Thursday.

“We are shutting down the two New York offices for Fannie and Freddie as a result of Letitia James’ corrupt and dangerous business practices in the state,” a source close to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), which oversees government-sponsored enterprises, told Fox News Digital.

A public announcement on the closures is set for later Thursday, Fox News Digital learned.

“We’ll still employ New York residents, and we’ll still continue to do mortgage loans in New York, of course,” the source continued. “But we are going to eliminate our physical presence. And to the extent that we have leases, we are going to be subleasing those.” …

Pictures: Scores of People Dead After 6.9-Magnitude Earthquake in Philippines

At least 72 people have been killed and more than 200 others were injured after a 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck the central Philippines on Tuesday night.

The powerful earthquake transpired at around 10:00 p.m., trapping an unspecified number of residents in collapsed houses, nightclubs, and other businesses in the coastal city of Bogo, as well as rural towns in the nation’s Cebu province, according to a report by Associated Press.

On Wednesday, Army troops, police, civilian volunteers, and sniffer dogs went house-to-house to search for survivors. Half of the deaths were reported to have been in Bogo, a city home to around 90,000 residents, officials said.

The death toll, however, is reportedly expected to rise, with officials saying that sporadic rain, as well as damaged bridges and roads have been obstructing their effort to quickly save lives.

“We’re still in the golden hour of our search and rescue,” Office of Civil Defense Deputy Administrator Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said. “There are still many reports of people who were pinned or hit by debris.”

Alejandro added that the Philippine government is considering asking foreign governments for help.

Emergency personnel tried to transport a backhoe in order to speed up search and rescue efforts in a collection of small shacks nestled in a mountain village that was hit by a landslide and boulders, Bogo disaster-mitigation officer Rex Ygot told Associated Press.

“It’s hard to move in the area because there are hazards,” Glenn Ursal, another disaster mitigation officer, said….

Yom Kippur Attack: Police Shoot Suspect at Manchester Synagogue Mass Stabbing

(Photo by Peter Byrne/PA Images via Getty Images)

An alleged knifeman was shot multiple times by police outside a synagogue in Manchester, England, on Thursday morning as officers responded to an automobile and stabbing attack.

Several people were hit by a car and stabbed by an alleged knifeman at Heaton Park synagogue, on Middleton Road. City mayor Andy Burnham told local media that he had been told by police that a car had been driven by a man at members of the public and that he had dismounted and attempted to stab people.

Update 1640 BST — Police think this may have been terrorism

Seven hours after a man drove a car into worshippers on their way to a Yom Kippur service and dismounted with a knife to stab more, police say they have determined this may have been a terrorist attack. Consequently the investigation is now being led by specialist counter terror police, with the cooperation of local officers and the security services.

This comes as officers arrested two people in relation to the incident — the suspect was shot dead at the scene — and as police spokesmen congratulate those at the Synagogue for having acted quickly to shut and lock the building door, preventing the suspect from getting inside. He was found trying to stab his way through a window when police arrived.

Update 1300 BST — Two victims confirmed to have died

Sadly we now know that two people targeted in the attack have been confirmed as dead. The total number of victims has risen from four to five, with three others in “serious condition” in hospital, from car ramming injuries or stab wounds.

We don’t have any meaningful updates on the suspect as, given he was wearing a suspicious item around his waist that police fear could be a bomb, he can’t be approached by officers or paramedics. He’s being dealt with by an Army bomb-disposal robot instead. Social media images from the scene, however, show a well-built man dressed all in black with a large bushy beard, holding a knife.

The BBC states the man was seen by witnesses passing on the road using his knife to try and stab his way through a window at the Synagogue to get inside. The witness told the broadcaster: “Within seconds, the police arrived, they gave him a couple of warnings, he didn’t listen so they opened fire… [he] started getting back up and they [the police] shot him again”….

ICE Agents Continue Arresting Convicted Killers, Child Rapists in Spite of Government Shutdown

“Despite a lapse in funding, ICE will continue to remove the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens, including rapists, pedophiles, murderers, gang members, and terrorists from our country,” the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement:

Thanks to the Trump administration’s signature piece of legislation, the One Big Beautiful Bill, we will continue to hire, train, and deploy law enforcement across the country to make America safe again. Democratic politicians have villainized our brave ICE law enforcement calling them the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and kidnappers, and now they are putting our officers’ families under financial strains. They might put politics first, but we won’t — the deportations will continue. We will continue to put the safety of the American people first. [Emphasis added]

This week, for instance, ICE agents arrested Gerzain Gomez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who has been previously convicted of second-degree murder in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles, California.

Similarly, Mexican illegal aliens Mauricio Ibarra-Cruz and Joshua Alexander Cortez-Ramirez were arrested by ICE agents.

Trucker indicted after camera catches him laughing following fatal N.J. crash, cops say

A Gloucester County grand jury has indicted a tractor-trailer driver accused of causing a fatal crash on the New Jersey Turnpike and laughing as he drove away.

Joseph M. Nyandwaro, 41, of Pearland, Texas, was driving northbound in Woolwich Township around 7:30 p.m. on June 22 when investigators said he rammed a tractor-trailer driven by Osman Aden, 40, of Minnesota.

Video from inside the truck showed Nyandwaro laughing after he intentionally rammed Aden’s vehicle, police said.

During a July court appearance, Nyandwaro’s attorney called the crash a tragic accident, and said that his client had been cooperative with police.

The judge presiding over that hearing called the defendant’s alleged actions “intentional, reckless, and wanton.”

The grand jury indicted Nyandwaro last month on second-degree charges of vehicular homicide and knowingly leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, as well as fourth degree tampering with evidence.

He remains jailed pending trial and is due back in court Oct. 10 for a post-indictment arraignment hearing.

Witness accounts and dashboard camera video from Aden’s truck helped police identify the other vehicle involved in the crash, authorities said…

Photos show an F-35 flaunting a fresh kill marking after the stealth fighter made NATO history by downing Russian drones

The Dutch F-35 was pictured with a new marking. Facebook/Dutch Ministry of Defense/Business Insider

Dutch military photos showed an F-35 stealth fighter sporting a fresh drone-shaped kill mark after the advanced jet was used to shoot down Russian drones that violated alliance airspace.

The images from the Netherlands’ defense ministry show the marking on the fuselage, just below the cockpit. The marking, not displayed on other F-35 fighter jets, distinctly resembles the triangular Delta-wing one-way attack drones Russia uses.

The Dutch Ministry of Defense told Business Insider that the marking was added “after taking out multiple drones in Polish Airspace in September.” It said the marking was only added to one F-35 that took out multiple drones, but it said that it was not disclosing anything about the number of kills.

Western aircraft, including Dutch F-35s, have been scrambled multiple times in response to Russian air assets operating in or near NATO airspace since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. Sen. Joni Ernst: Taxpayers Paying $400 Million per Day for Bureaucrats Not to Work Due to Democrat Shutdown

“Make no mistake – the Schumer Shutdown is hitting Americans where it hurts the most – their wallets. Every day Democrats drag this on, taxpayers will foot a $400 million bill for 750,000 non-essential bureaucrats NOT to work,” Ernst said in a written statement to Breitbart News.

She added, “Speaking of doing nothing, Congress still gets paid for failing to do its job. As if that was not bad enough, our economy could lose billions of dollars, our servicemembers will see their paychecks delayed, and essential services for the American people will be unavailable. Democrats’ political stunt is harming hardworking folks and must end now.”

The Hawkeye State conservative communicated with Breitbart News after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) provided her with a detailed cost breakdown of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) shutdown.

The CBO analysis found that the shutdown will cost $400 million per day of its duration to pay roughly 750,000 federal bureaucrats not to work. It also found:

  • Servicemembers will likely see their pay for serving their country delayed
  • The last shutdown cost $3 billion in gross domestic product

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) reported that the Democrats’ counterproposal to the Republican stopgap spending bill would eliminate health savings from the Big Beautiful Bill and permanently extend enhanced Obamacare subsidies, adding $1.5 trillion to the national debt over the next ten years….

Trump Meets with Budget Director Russ Vought to Make Agency Cuts During Democrat Shutdown

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he would be meeting with Vought “to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM, he recommends to be cut, and whether or not those cuts will be temporary or permanent.” Trump added, “I can’t believe the Radical Left Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity. They are not stupid people, so maybe this is their way of wanting to, quietly and quickly, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DJT.”

The post comes as Trump and Vought continue implementing broad reductions to the federal bureaucracy during the Democrat-led government shutdown.

Earlier this week, Vought revealed the cancellation of nearly $8 billion in federal green energy projects, targeting initiatives in blue and blue-leaning states such as California, Colorado, Illinois, and New York.

The administration also confirmed that $18 billion in infrastructure projects in New York City, including the Hudson Tunnel Project and the Second Avenue Subway, would be placed on hold pending review of contracting practices.

Vought has played a central role in reshaping federal operations. In August, Secretary of State and Acting National Security Adviser Marco Rubio appointed him to oversee the closeout of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) following Congress’s approval of a $9 billion rescissions package that eliminated funding for USAID, PBS, and NPR. Rubio said the move capped months of restructuring that transferred core functions to the State Department, while Vought noted his intent to finalize the agency’s closure.

At the same time, Trump’s administration is overseeing the largest federal workforce reduction in decades. More than 154,000 bureaucrats who accepted buyouts officially left the payroll this week, part of a broader plan expected to reduce the federal workforce by more than 300,000 positions by year’s end.

Trump has emphasized that essential services such as the military, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Social Security, Medicare, and veterans’ health care will not be affected, while cuts will focus on programs and agencies Democrats have supported that the administration says are not aligned with its America First agenda.

The president has framed the shutdown as a strategic moment for his administration to take “irreversible” steps in cutting programs Democrats favor. He has also warned that Democrats are taking a risk by forcing the government closure, noting that reductions enacted during the funding lapse may become permanent.
