‘Jesus Loves You’: Pastor’s Powerful Act After Delivery Woman Brings Wrong Order Goes Viral
A truly powerful moment unfolded in Castle Rock, Colorado, last weekend after a pastor ordered pizza and the delivery woman brought him the wrong food.
While some people might have been frustrated or angry over the mess-up, Pastor Neal Seiwert took a different approach. He greeted Suzanna, the delivery woman, with kindness.
The entire ordeal, which was captured on Ring footage, has since gone viral.
“I’m sorry; I’m getting old,” Suzanna said as she approached Seiwert’s door. “I saw 57. You were order 67. So 57, 67; I screwed up. I’m sorry.”
The pastor told her not to worry and then offered profound compassion. Watch it unfold:
“We love you and Jesus loves you,” Seiwert said. “And we hope you have a great night.”
He continued, “Don’t feel bad for one second.”
Seiwert asked if Suzanna knew Jesus and she said she did but that she had been struggling due to difficulties. The preacher and his entire family then came out on the porch, placed their hands on Suzanna’s shoulders — and started to pray for her.
They learned she takes care of her 82-year-old mother and has faced difficulties.
So, they launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to help Suzanna and the fundraiser has already brought in more than $34,000.
“Suzanna is one of those people who has spent her life putting others first,” the description reads. “She is currently the full-time caregiver for her 82-year-old mom, managing the daily responsibilities, medical needs, and expenses that come with it. For years, she has given her time, love, and energy to take care of others, often at the expense of her own needs. Now it’s time for us to take care of her.”

A “buy back and reintegration program”?
Are we ‘buying back’ weapons from Hamas? Is this nonsense that Detroit or Chicago does, hoping to get the gang bangers to stop shooting each other, being applied to Hamas?
And then what’s the reintegration program? Where do those weapons get reintegrated?
A likely possibility is that we ‘buy back’ weapons from Hamas, then hand them over to the ‘Palestinian police’ who are also Hamas.

Gov. Gavin Newsom put on another one of his press events, blasting Trump and acting as if he had saved public education in California.
Governor Gavin Newsom today announced Californian student test scores for the 2024-2025 school year, which show significant continued progress made by K-12 students – with low-income students, Black students, and Latino students seeing particularly notable progress.
What does “notable progress” look like? Even the LA Times lists the actual sad numbers.
On the statewide tests, which were taken in the spring, 48.8% of students scored as “proficient” or “advanced” in English Language Arts, a gain of 1.8 percentage points from the spring of 2024, which built on smaller gains from the previous year. Still, the percentage scoring as advanced or proficient was 2.1 percentage points lower than in 2018-19, the last full year before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The trend was similar for math, with fewer students advanced or proficient overall. In math, 37.3% of tested students scored as proficient or advanced, again an increase of 1.8 percentage points from 2024. And 2024 was .9% percentage points better than 2023. However, the percentage of proficient students was lower than pre-pandemic, by 2.4 percentage points.
There’s a pattern here.
Democrats unleashed criminals in the Year of BLM and now keep protesting that crime is going down from the 2020 highs so their policies must be working.
They’re doing the same thing with test scores. After shutting down public education at the behest of teachers’ unions during the pandemic, now they suddenly want credit for improvements from their own manufactured crisis.

Nigerian troops repel jihadi attack in Borno state
Four Nigerian soldiers were killed and five wounded when troops repelled a coordinated attack by Islamist insurgents in Ngamdu, northeastern Borno State, the military said on Friday.
Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province have this year stepped up attacks on military bases in Borno state, the heartland of an insurgency that has killed thousands and displaced about 2 million people in over a decade.
In the latest attack late on Thursday, insurgents used rocket-propelled grenades, armed drones, and improvised explosive devices targeting military personnel and vehicles, a military spokesperson said.
Reinforcements from the 29 Task Force Brigade helped repel the assault, which also damaged several Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles and gun trucks, the military added.
The insurgents planted multiple IEDs along the Ngamdu–Damaturu main supply route, temporarily halting movement. Military engineers later cleared three explosive-laden sites, reopening the route to military and civilian traffic.
The military said it had killed at least 15 attackers.
Insurgents have launched 333 attacks in northeast Nigeria this year, compared to 375 in all of 2024, data compiled by conflict monitoring group ACLED showed.
Nigeria’s military says it has launched counterinsurgency operations in recent months in Borno state to try to dismantle insurgency networks in the northeast region.
NATO to start annual nuclear drill Steadfast Noon next week
NATO’s annual nuclear deterrence exercise, Steadfast Noon, will be hosted by the Netherlands and start next week, with 71 aircraft from 14 nations taking part, officials from the Western military alliance said on Friday.
The exercise “sends a clear signal to any potential adversary that we will and can protect and defend all allies against all threats,” NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.
Rutte made his remarks in a video message recorded at Volkel airbase in the Netherlands, the main host of this year’s drill.
Bases at Kleine Brogel in Belgium, Lakenheath in Britain and Skrydstrup in Denmark will also be involved, NATO said.
“We need to do this because it helps us to make sure that our nuclear deterrent remains as credible, and as safe, and as secure, and as effective as possible,” Rutte said.
The exercise does not use nuclear weapons but simulates scenarios in which they could be used, NATO officials said….

Massachusetts foster parents lose license after refusing to sign gender affirming policy: “We simply can’t agree to go against our Christian faith”
A couple from Woburn, Massachusetts has lost their license to foster children after they refused to sign a gender affirming policy form from the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
Lydia and Heath Marvin have three kids in their teens, but they have fostered eight different children under the age of 4 since 2020. Their most recent foster child was a baby with complex medical needs who stayed with them for 15 months.
“Our Christian faith, it really drives us toward that. James says that true undefiled religion is to care for the fatherless,” said Heath.
The couple said they were prepared to care for more foster children until DCF pulled their license to foster in April.
That’s because the Marvins refused to sign the agency’s LGBTQIA+ Non-Discrimination Policy because of their Christian faith. Starting in 2022, the policy said that foster families must affirm the LGBTQIA+ identity of foster children.
“We asked, is there any sort of accommodation, can you waive this at all? We will absolutely love and support and care for any child in our home but we simply can’t agree to go against our Christian faith in this area. And, were ultimately told you must sign the form as is or you will be delicensed,” Lydia said.
The Marvins appealed the loss of their license, but lost. They’re considering their options but two other Christian foster families are plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit filed by the Massachusetts Family Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom against DCF.
The lawsuit alleges the policy forces parents to “accept[ ] a child’s assertion of their LGBTQIA+ identity”, “address[ ] children by their names and pronouns,” and “support[ ] gender-neutral practices regarding clothes and physical appearance.”
“There is a speech component and also a religious liberty component to the lawsuit,” said Sam Whiting, an attorney with the Massachusetts Family Institute.
Last week, the Trump administration sent a letter to DCF, addressing the lawsuit and specifically mentioning the Marvins.
“These policies and developments are deeply troubling, clearly contrary to the purpose of child welfare programs, and in direct violation of First Amendment protections,” wrote Andrew Gradison, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Administration for Children and Families….
Retired US Army officer sentenced to nearly 6 years for sharing classified info on dating site
A retired Army officer who worked as a civilian for the Air Force has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for conspiring to transmit classified information about Russia’s war with Ukraine on a foreign online dating platform.
David Slater was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Lincoln to 70 months in prison. Slater, who was 64 when he pleaded guilty in July to a count of conspiracy to disclose national defense information, was also fined $25,000 and ordered to undergo a year of supervision upon his release from prison. In exchange for his guilty plea, two other counts were dropped.
Slater had top secret clearance at his job at the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska after retiring from the Army as a lieutenant colonel in 2020. Prosecutors said as part of his job, which he held from August 2021 until around April 2022, Slater attended briefings about the Russia-Ukraine war that were classified up to top secret. He was arrested in March of 2024.
In his plea agreement, Slater acknowledged that he conspired to transmit classified information that he learned from those briefings via a foreign dating website’s messaging platform to an unnamed coconspirator, who claimed to be a woman living in Ukraine. The information, classified as secret, pertained to military targets and Russian military capabilities, according to the plea agreement.
According to the original indictment, the coconspirator regularly asked Slater for classified information. She called him, “my secret informant love!” in one message. She closed another by saying, “You are my secret agent. With love.” In another, she wrote, “Dave, I hope tomorrow NATO will prepare a very pleasant ‘surprise’ for (Russian President Vladimir) Putin! Will you tell me?”
Court documents don’t identify the coconspirator, or say whether she was working for Ukraine or Russia. A spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney’s office Friday said the office cannot provide that information.

Venezuelan Freedom Fighter María Corina Machado Dedicates Nobel Prize to Donald Trump
The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced its prize recipient on Friday morning Oslo time, awarding Machado for decades of advocacy against socialism in her native Venezuela.
While the left-leaning Committee did not mention socialism at all in its announcement of the award, failing to recognize who is repressing the former Venezuelan National Assembly member, it did congratulate Machado for “her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”
In her first statement following the announcement, Machado declared that the Venezuelan opposition – now largely cleansed of the socialist elements that undermined her leadership for decades – was “on the threshold of victory.”
She noted that this situation was, in part, due to President Trump’s longstanding support for the opposition and his actions to strip the illegitimate narco-dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro of its revenue funds and access to aid from its rogue allies, such as China and Iran.
“We are on the threshold of victory and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world,” she wrote, “as our principal allies to achieve Freedom and democracy.”

Woman Shot and Killed in Dallas Parking Lot After Alleged Argument Over Saying ‘Thank You’
A woman was fatally shot after she allegedly asked another woman to say “thank you.”
Cecilia Simpson, 41, was killed in the parking lot outside a PetSmart in Dallas on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Keona Zachyua Hampton, 22, has been charged with murder for allegedly shooting Simpson multiple times, per a Dallas Police Department news release.
The fatal encounter happened after Simpson reportedly held the door open for Hampton as they were both leaving a Five Below store, per WFAA. When Hampton didn’t thank Simpson, police say that the two women engaged in a verbal altercation, according to CBS News, citing the arrest affidavit.
According to the outlet, Simpson and her daughter drove to the shopping center’s PetSmart. They told the employees Hampton was allegedly following them. Police say that Hampton then went into PetSmart and argued with the witness, left the store, and returned minutes later.
Hampton and Simpson then began arguing inside the PetSmart again. The employees asked all three people to leave the store.
A witness, who reportedly is an ER nurse, told Fox 4, “The shooter was saying, ‘Come outside. Let’s handle this outside. Let’s fight outside.’ And the mom and daughter were just telling her to like go away.”
Once they left the store, Hampton allegedly threw a drink bottle at Simpson’s vehicle in the parking lot. “The mother and daughter tried to get in the car to de-escalate the situation but the lady wasn’t having it,” the ER nurse told the outlet.
Simpson then continued arguing with Hampton, which turned into a physical fight. Simpson hit Hampton several times and yelled at her to leave, Simpson’s daughter told police, per CBS News….
