“Marriage Isn’t Easy”: Woman’s “Honest” Explanation After Shooting Husband Goes Mega Viral

Doris Winters, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested after attempting to flee the apartment where she had shot the man, 49-year-old Aerion Winters.

According to the complaint, witnesses directed police to Winters’ location after seeing her walk away from the scene.

A witness who was present at the scene said that Winters and her husband were living in separate residences.

The witness stated that he drove the victim to Winters’ apartment on May 31, so he could pick up some of his belongings.

When the victim entered the apartment, he and Winters began arguing. The witness claimed he stood between them to try to calm the situation, but Winters picked up her weapon from the living room and commented that it was loaded.

The victim then walked upstairs and spoke briefly to Winters’ mother. “The defendant told him not to talk to her mother, and the victim responded by calling the defendant a ‘b***,’” the complaint reads.

This “angered” the woman, who shot her husband in the back and chest.

According to court filings, the witness told investigators that Winters allegedly warned him to get the victim “out of here” before “[she] shot him again.”

After Winters was placed in a police car, she allegedly admitted to the crime in comments captured by squad cameras. She said, “He called me a b*** for the last time, and I just shot him. I just shot him…”

“I just grabbed my gun and shot him because I’m just tired. I know I shouldn’t have shot him, but I’m just tired.”

Social media users shared their interpretations of the woman’s statement, with one person writing, “She didn’t say ‘I’m tired’.. she said ‘I’m JUST tired’.. that tells me she been putting up with his mess for far too long.. not justifying it.. just making sense of it.”

A third commented, “Every woman reading this story knows exactly why she did it,” to which a separate user replied, “That is true sometimes we can only take so much.”….

Rubio not taking guff from ICC — hammers foreign judges over targeting of US and Israel

Secretary of State Marco Rubio slapped four judges on the International Criminal Court with sanctions on Thursday over their efforts “to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute nationals of the United States or Israel, without consent from the United States or Israel.”

The antagonistic efforts on the parts of the judges — Solomy Balungi Bossa of Uganda, Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza of Peru, Reine Adelaide Sophie Alapini Gansou of Benin, and Beti Hohler of Slovenia — are particularly provocative since the court has no jurisdiction over either country, as neither the U.S. nor Israel is a member of the court or party to the Rome Statute, which founded the court in 2002.

“The ICC is politicized and falsely claims unfettered discretion to investigate, charge, and prosecute nationals of the United States and our allies,” Rubio said in a statement. “This dangerous assertion and abuse of power infringes upon the sovereignty and national security of the United States and our allies, including Israel.”

The sanctions are in accordance with President Donald Trump’s February executive order titled “Imposing Sanctions on the International Criminal Court,” in which he indicated the U.S. will “impose tangible and significant consequences on those responsible for the ICC’s transgressions.”

In the order, Trump noted that the ICC has engaged in “illegitimate and baseless actions” targeting America and Israel; has unlawfully asserted jurisdiction over and launched probes concerning American personnel; and has “abused its power by issuing baseless arrest warrants targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Former Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant.”

Numerous Western officials said that they would implement the warrants, including then-EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell Fontelles, Irish Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Harris, and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

Trump said that the ICC’s endeavor to have officials from non-member nations arrested “set a dangerous precedent,” in part by threatening to infringe on the sovereignty of the U.S. and Israel and undermining both nations’ national security and foreign policy work….

Christian YMCA center to host ‘LGBTQ+ youth’ camp for kids as young as 7

The Stephens Family YMCA in Champaign, Illinois, will host a disturbing program centered around the sexuality of young children.

To make matters worse, the supposed Christian nonprofit has partnered with an activist organization that is willing to provide “gender affirming” clothing to “any age.”

The Stephens Family YMCA proudly boasts a diversity, equity, and inclusion policy on its website and says it is “prioritizing equity” in all that it does.

With a commitment to implementing DEI programs, the organization seems to be working in line with its mission statement with its 2025 summer camp called “Camp Kaleidoscope.”

The summer camp is for “LGBTQ+ youth or youth who are part of LGBTQ+ families” and promises to provide children with a “safe space,” where they can “experience character growth and development.”

There are two four-day camps: June 23 to 27 for 2nd to 5th graders and July 14 to 18 for 6th to 9th graders. Both cost $250.

The goal of the camp, the guide states, is to let youth “who are part of the LGBTQ+ community to be authentically themselves.”

The gay camp will run in collaboration with Uniting Pride of Champaign County, an activist group that provides sex- and gender-based literature aimed at children and cross-dressing clothing to “any age.”

As reported by the Daily Wire, Uniting Pride openly says it will provide free chest binders, waist cinchers, or “tucking underwear” to “anyone of any age.”…

Judicial Watch Announces $4.975 Million Settlement of Ashli Babbitt Wrongful Death Lawsuit with U.S. Government

“This fair settlement is a historic and necessary step for justice for Ashli Babbitt’s family. Ashli should never have been killed, and this settlement destroys the evil, partisan narrative that justified her outrageous killing and protected her killer,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Judicial Watch’s team spent years investigating, litigating, and exposing the truth about Ashli’s homicide. And credit goes to the hundreds of thousands of Judicial Watch supporters who fought this cause! President Trump was an absolute rock in supporting Ashli’s family and advocating for justice!”

Babbitt, 35, owned and operated a successful pool business with her husband Aaron. Ashli traveled alone from San Diego to Washington, DC, to attend the Women for America First (aka Save America) rally on January 6, 2021, at the Ellipse near the White House.

The wrongful death lawsuit was filed in San Diego, California, Ashli’s home venue, on January 5, 2024, against the U.S. Government on behalf of the family of Ashli Babbitt and transferred to the District of Columbia over objection (Estate of Ashli Babbitt and Aaron Babbitt, et al. v. United States of America (No. 1:24-cv-01701 (formerly 3:24-cv-00033)). In settling the lawsuit, the parties signed a “Stipulation for Compromise Settlement and Release:”

to settle and compromise each and every claim of any kind, whether known or unknown, including claims for wrongful death, arising directly or indirectly from the acts or omissions that gave rise to the above-captioned action under the terms and conditions set forth in this Stipulation.

This Stipulation is not and should not be construed as, an admission of liability or fault on the part of the United States, its agents, servants, or employees, and it is specifically denied that they are liable to Plaintiffs. This settlement is entered into by all parties for the purpose of compromising disputed claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act and avoiding the expenses and risks of further litigation.

In consideration for the Plaintiffs’ agreement to accept the terms and conditions of this settlement, the United States agrees to pay Plaintiffs the amount of Four Million, Nine Hundred and Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($4,975,000.00)…

The lawsuit included claims against the U.S. Government for wrongful death, assault and battery, and various negligence claims….

D-Day veterans gather in Normandy to mark 81st anniversary of pivotal WWII moment

Veterans gathered Friday in Normandy to mark the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings — a pivotal moment of World War II that eventually led to the collapse of Adolf Hitler’s regime.

Along the coastline and near the D-Day landing beaches, tens of thousands of onlookers attended the commemorations, which included parachute jumps, flyovers, remembrance ceremonies, parades, and historical reenactments.

Many were there to cheer the ever-dwindling number of surviving veterans in their late 90s and older.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth commemorated the anniversary of the D-Day landings, in which American soldiers played a leading role, with veterans at the American Cemetery overlooking the shore in the village of Colleville-sur-Mer.

French Minister for the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu told Hegseth that France knows what it owes to its American allies and the veterans who helped free Europe from the Nazis.

“We don’t forget that our oldest allies were there in this grave moment of our history. I say it with deep respect in front of you, veterans, who incarnate this unique friendship between our two countries,” he said.

Hegseth said France and the United States should be prepared to fight if danger arises again, and that “good men are still needed to stand up.”

“Today the United States and France again rally together to confront such threats,” he said, without mentioning a specific enemy. “Because we strive for peace, we must prepare for war and hopefully deter it.”..

Mark Levin Exposes the Ugly Truth Behind “Pro-Palestinian” Protests

Hamas sympathizers call it a “protest,” but what we’re seeing is something else entirely.
Intimidation. Physical attacks. Blocking students and professors. That’s not “free speech”—that’s chaos.

Mark Levin exposes the radical left’s dangerous attempts to blur the lines between protest and violence—and how they’re using the language of “rights” to excuse terror.

This isn’t about peaceful advocacy for Palestinians. It’s about legitimizing anti-Semitism, excusing terrorism, and rewriting history with twisted comparisons to Nazi Germany.

Global Greening From Higher CO2 Hits “Striking” New Heights – but the Mainstream Media Won’t Tell You About It

Significant new evidence has emerged of widespread and significant increases in plant vegetation across the Earth due to the recent rise of the trace gas carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Using what they describe as True Significant Trends – a workflow programme integrating sophisticated spatial and time-period data – a geographer and an agrobiologist in Spain found “robust quantitative evidence” of widespread global greening, describing it as “striking” – “with a significant portion of Earth’s terrestrial land surface showing measurable increases in vegetation cover over the last four decades”.

This is the CO2 story that dare not print its tale in the mainstream media.

Recent dramatic world vegetation boosts are easily tracked by satellite, and estimates of growth range around 14-20% over just 40 years. Recent scientific work has found the rate of greening has actually been increasing since the turn of the century.

Ask Grok for recent coverage of this important trend in the BBC and Guardian, and the answer comes back with none since 2016.

Global greening heads a long list of taboo subjects for captured journalists promoting the political Net Zero fantasy. Also on the not-to-do list is the pause of the Arctic sea ice extent since 2007, the continued strength of the Gulf Stream, record growth for three years of coral on the Great Barrier Reef and North American wildfires in the last 100 years running at barely a quarter of those recorded back to 1600.

Global greening helps reduce world famine and reclaim desert areas but it is not of the slightest interest in the mainstream since it disrupts the fake claims of a climate in crisis due to humans burning hydrocarbons. It is easier to stick with the witch doctor attribution pronouncements of extreme weather and all the dodgy temperature data pumped out at unnaturally heat-ravaged measuring sites.

To consider all the data that show extreme events are not getting worse, with or without human involvement, risks the punters concluding that a little extra warmth and CO2 in the atmosphere is probably a good thing. Perish the thought that the climate is currently in a rather pleasant and benign phase of Earth’s existence.

If that is the uplifting take, cue, of course, the end of Net Zero and that would never do. Net Zero relies on fake science and much of the real stuff is fatal to the collectivist ambitions of its hard-Left promoters…

Illegal Migrant Accused of Crushing Co-Worker’s Head with Heavy Machinery at Florida Construction Site

A police report says officers questioned a site worker named Angel Bautista Martinez, 29, who said he was nowhere near the tractor when Lopez was killed. However, officers observed blood on Martinez’s pants and investigated his story further.

Other employees reported seeing Martinez working on the tractor with the deceased man. Some said Martinez was in the tractor’s cab running the machine. Martinez has also reportedly been a regular operator of the tractor, the investigators said.

Officers arrested Martinez and charged him in the death of his fellow worker. He was initially charged with second-degree manslaughter, but prosecutors are likely to upgrade his charges to a first-degree felony because he is in the country illegally.

Along with the state charges, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also filed a detainer against him in the Polk County Jail.

The death of Jose Lopez is not a lone example of the dangers illegals represent in the workplace. Unfortunately, the numbers of illegal aliens killed on the job — especially in construction — has soared in the last few years after the Biden administration threw our borders wide open to tens of millions of illegal migrants.

Last year, it was reported that illegal aliens made up more than 60 percent of the victims of workplace deaths.

“Foreign-born Hispanic or Latino workers accounted for 63.5 percent (792) of total Hispanic or Latino worker fatalities (1,248),” in 2022, according to a December release by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. “Fatalities in the construction industry accounted for 316 [or 40 percent] of the 792 foreign-born Hispanic or Latino worker deaths in 2022.”

The following year was just as bad for migrant workers. According to the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, deaths of migrant workers added up to two-thirds of the reported fatalities….

Blue State Blues: The Best News You Didn’t Hear About This Week

Courtesy Gaza Humanitarian Foundation

The best news this week is something you probably didn’t hear about: a Trump administration-backed aid effort reopened in the Gaza Strip, and delivered more than 1.4 million meals in one day, and no one was shot.

That is why you didn’t hear about it.

When Palestinian terrorists can invent or exaggerate claims of Israeli or American atrocities in the Middle East, the media run sensational stories. When things go well: silence.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has been a great success. After its first week in operation, it had delivered seven million meals to Palestinian civilians in Gaza, who were deeply grateful for the assistance.

Moreover, the GHF delivered the aid without going through the corrupt United Nations, which is under the thumb of Hamas. Nor was the aid stolen by Hamas to feed its terrorists, or to be sold on the black market.

That is why both the United Nations and Hamas were outraged, and spread false allegations that Israeli soldiers are killing Palestinian civilians at the aid sites. They want the GHF shut down as soon as possible.

They failed — at least for now. They could not overcome images and videos of Palestinians cheering for America, and President Donald Trump, as they arrived at the aid sides…

Nolte: Remittances to Mexico Collapse as Trump Cracks Down on Illegal Immigration

Daniel Acker/ Bloomberg News.

Compared to April of 2024, per the Bank of Mexico, April remittances dropped 12.1 percent, which is the biggest year-over-year drop in 13 years.

Remittances to Mexico in April still totaled a staggering $4.76 billion, but that is down $380 million from the previous month’s $5.14 billion.

Throughout 2024, Mexico received $64.7 billion in overseas remittances, most of it from the United States (specifically Texas and California). That $64.7 billion represents about four percent of the overall Mexican GDP.

“The April remittance data is terrible,” Banco Base economic analysis director Gabriela Siller said on X. She blamed both “the deterioration of the labor market in the U.S. and U.S. migrants’ fear of going out to work and sending their remittances, for fear of being deported.”

Yeah, well, the labor market is not deteriorating, sweetheart. Far from it.

On the horizon is a 3.5 percent tax on these remittances in President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. This tax is expected to bring $22.2 billion into the U.S. Treasury between 2026 and 2034. Those opposed to the tax laughably claim the tax will increase illegal immigration…
