Apocalyptic aerial hazard the size of US barrels toward Florida triggering public health warnings

A massive plume of dust the size of the entire US is moving across the Atlantic Ocean and is set to hit Florida this week.

The dust cloud is coming from the Sahara Desert and was formed by strong winds sweeping tiny sand and mineral particles off the surface.

Officials in Puerto Rico have already warned residents of poor air quality as the dust sweeps over the Caribbean.

The National Weather Service alerted the island that ‘peak concentrations of Sahara dust from this event are rolling in and arriving in the next few hours.’

The plume is predicted to hit South Florida by Wednesday and the Gulf States a few days later, but locals could begin seeing dust hanging in the atmosphere sooner.

Experts warn that it can make breathing difficult, especially for people with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory issues, because it carries fine particles that can irritate the lungs.

As of Monday, the cloud extended roughly 2,000 miles from Jamaica to well past Barbados in the eastern Caribbean, and about 750 miles from the Turks and Caicos Islands in the north down to Trinidad and Tobago in the south.

‘It’s very impressive,’ said Alex DaSilva, lead hurricane expert with AccuWeather….

Mount Etna eruption sends crowds running

Tourists on an expedition near Mount Etna were filmed running for safety after a massive ash plume erupted from the volcano on Monday.

Dramatic video captured by Aurelien Pouzin shows a group scrambling away from the summit as thick, dark ash billows into the sky over Sicily’s eastern coast.

Italian media outlet Corriere Della Sera reported that aviation authorities issued a red alert for air traffic following the eruption, warning of potential flight disruptions due to ash in the atmosphere.

Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology, of INGVvulcani, said Monday that a “fountain” of lava had also begun to flow from the volcano’s southeast crater, though it hadn’t breached a basin-like feature known as the Valley of the Leo.

The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center of Toulouse, which monitors eruptions in the area, said activity was already “decreasing” as of Monday afternoon local time.

No injuries were reported, but officials advised caution in the surrounding areas….

The ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ hits the Senate: Here’s who to look out for

It’s a big month for President Donald Trump’s agenda as the budget reconciliation bill that unlocks much of his campaign promises works its way through a divided U.S. Senate.

Internal fights in the Senate GOP conference between fiscal hardliners and moderates pose a steep challenge for Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., as he seeks to have the finalized package on the president’s desk by July 4.

The budget reconciliation process allows lawmakers to bypass the Senate filibuster. But with a razor-thin Republican majority in the Senate, Thune can only afford to lose three votes in his party. This requires Thune to meet the stiff demands of 51 Republicans whose requests often contradict one another.

Meanwhile, no fewer than 20 Senate Republicans are up for reelection in the midterms next year, meaning almost half of the Republican conference have a greater incentive to hold the line.

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, is one senator who will be hyper-focused on the interests of her state as she builds her 2026 campaign. Collins has voiced concerns about Medicaid changes in the GOP’s bill, specifically in how they could affect children, people with disabilities, seniors and low-income families.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-MO, has also expressed wariness over potential cuts to healthcare access. Hawley called it “morally wrong and politically suicidal.”

As The Center Square reported, the bill’s cost-cutting changes to Medicaid will render at least 7.7 million current Medicaid recipients – including 1.4 million people without verified citizenship status – ineligible for coverage by 2034. But given the Biden-era 20% spending increase on Medicaid, total program spending will still grow by at least 3% a year for the next decade.

The opponents of Medicaid cuts clash directly with budget hawks in the GOP conference who claim the proposed budget package doesn’t go far enough in its spending cuts.

Central to this argument is Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., who is discarding any loyalties to Trump in his effort to push for deeper spending cuts in the bill. Others include Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Mike Lee, R-Utah.

Senate Democrats are ramping up their tactics in an effort to sink the GOP bill. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., sent a letter to fellow Democrats on Sunday renaming the budget package the “One Ugly Bill” and vowing to “use every tool at our disposal in this battle.”…

Mom kills 6-year-old during exorcism, leaves body for 12 days, Florida cops say

School resource deputies at Samuel S. Gaines Academy requested a welfare check May 30 after school officials flagged that Ra’myl Pierre had been absent from school for 16 days, Del Toro said during a news conference.

Deputies arrived at his Fort Pierce home and spoke with Paulynice, who brought deputies inside and into the child’s bedroom, where they found the boy dead, according to the sheriff. Investigators believe Paulynice killed her son May 18 and left his body in his bedroom for 12 days.

“She believed she was being told by God to basically exorcise demons out of the child’s body,” Del Toro said. “And when the child had stopped moving and had basically passed away at that point, she felt the child had been released of those demons and was waiting for him to basically come back.”

First responders visited the house the day before the child’s death for a medical issue the mother was having, according to the sheriff.

The Feminism Debate: Can Women Have It All? | Megyn Kelly | EP 552

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and journalist Megyn Kelly dissect the cultural and psychological forces reshaping modern gender dynamics—particularly the rising unhappiness among young women, the suppression of traditional masculinity, and the consequences of empathy-driven institutions.

They explore maternal overreach, the devaluation of motherhood, the politicization of victimhood, and the unintended fallout of feminism’s gains in the corporate and academic world.

This episode unpacks how men and women are drifting further apart—politically, emotionally, and biologically—and asks whether modern society is equipped to repair the divide wrought by extreme feminism.

“We Have Never Witnessed Anything Like This Before… | Victor Davis Hanson”

In this video, Victor Davis Hanson exposes the left’s contradictions in their attacks on Donald Trump and his trade policies. In this video, Hanson dives deep into how progressive critics consistently misrepresent Trump’s use of tariffs, portraying them as reckless or harmful without acknowledging their strategic purpose.

He argues that the left’s opposition isn’t based on economic facts, but on a broader ideological rejection of Trump’s America-first agenda.

DHS revamps ICE tip line with more staff after Colorado attacks

Soliman is accused of using a makeshift flame thrower at an outdoor mall to attack a group of people who had gathered in support of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Following the attack, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Monday that additional personnel will be added to monitor the ICE tip line to collect information on gang members, sex offenders and violent criminals who are illegally in the United States.

“Yesterday’s terrorist attack by a suspect illegally in our country, underscores the importance of getting these illegal aliens out of our country,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Secretary Noem is revamping ICE’s illegal alien tip line to devote more resources and personnel to help remove these criminal illegal aliens from our country.”

Tips on suspicious criminal activity can be called into: 866-DHS-2-ICE, or (866) 347-2423.

Starmer says UK is ‘moving to war-fighting readiness’

Keir Starmer, British prime ministerCordon Press.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Monday that the U.K. is “moving to war-fighting readiness” as he unveiled the government’s defense spending plans.

From Glasgow, the Labour leader confirmed the construction of six munitions factories that will generate over 1,000 jobs, as well as the construction of 12 attack submarines to deal with geopolitical tensions and the “growing” threat posed by the Kremlin.

The dozen submarines, nuclear-powered, are part of its AUKUS military alliance program with the United States and Australia.

Behind a podium in Glasgow with the slogan “Securing Britain’s Future,” Starmer expressed, “The threat we now face is more serious, more immediate and more unpredictable than at any time since the Cold War.”

Likewise, the prime minister confirmed from Glasgow that the United Kingdom plans to invest some $20 billion in its nuclear warhead production program.

The Labour leader assures that the announcement is part of the “renewal of our nuclear deterrent as the ultimate guarantor of our safety and our security.”

“I think that’s a common feeling across Europe and more broadly there is greater instability on defense and security than there has been for many, many years,” Starmer said on BBC Radio 4 shortly before the Glasgow announcements.

“The world has changed, and if the world has changed we need to be ready,” the Labour leader added to the BBC…

Republican representative calls on Trump administration to designate two pro-Palestinian groups as terrorist organizations in wake of Boulder attacks

Republican Representative for Florida’s 6th Congressional District Randy Fine

Republican Representative for Florida’s 6th Congressional District Randy Fine publicly called on the Donald Trump administration to designate Students for Justice in Palestine and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as terrorist organizations.

This comes following the brutal terrorist attack perpetrated this Saturday afternoon in Boulder, Colo., against a group of pro-Israeli demonstrators who were carrying out a peaceful walk in solidarity with the hostages still being held by Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

Both groups have expressed their repudiation of the Israeli government’s response against the jihadist organization following the brutal attacks of Oct. 7, 2023, and numerous journalists and political commentators have accused them of displaying clearly antisemitic and even pro-Hamas positions.

“It is time to immediately round up and deport any non-citizens who subscribe to the ‘Hamastinian’ cause. It is time for all ‘Palestinian’ organizations to be federally-designated terror organizations. … And it is time to bring the hammer down on our nation’s universities who have coddled and facilitated Muslim terror,” commented Fine on his X account.

In a statement, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser detailed that the terrorist attack could also be considered a “hate crime” as it took place on the eve of Shavuot and was specifically targeted at demonstrators who were openly and peacefully expressing support for Israel and solidarity with those kidnapped by Hamas. “From what we know, this attack appears to be a hate crime given the group that was targeted. People may have differing views about world events and the Israeli-Hamas conflict, but violence is never the answer to settling differences. Hate has no place in Colorado. We all have the right to peaceably assemble and the freedom to speak our views. But these violent acts—which are becoming more frequent, brazen and closer to home—must stop and those who commit these horrific acts must be fully held to account,” Weiser detailed….

The ingenious way Ukraine pulled off its stunning ‘Pearl Harbor’ attack against Russia

Ukraine was able to carry out its stunning “Operation Spider Web” attack on Russian air bases and nuclear fleet by hiding explosives-laden drones in wooden sheds, according to officials.

Kyiv’s secret service (SBU) stashed the attack drones inside the roofs of the sheds, which were loaded onto trucks that were driven to the perimeter of the air bases, Ukrainian authorities revealed in a statement shared on social media.

The roof panels were then lifted off by a remotely activated device so the 117 drones used in the strikes could fly out and make their devastating attacks.

Kyiv’s secret service stashed the attack drones inside the roofs of the sheds, which were loaded onto trucks that were driven to the perimeter of the air bases.

“At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were remotely opened, and the drones flew to hit Russian bombers,” a security source told AP.

The dramatic and carefully planned Sunday assault took Russian President Vladimir Putin and his forces completely unaware.

Some 34% of Russia’s Tu-95 bomber fleet, equipped to carry nuclear payloads, was reportedly wiped out in the raids on five air bases across the country, the SBU said on Sunday.

A total of 41 Russian warplanes were hit in the strikes, causing an eye-watering $7 billion in damage, Ukrainian officials said.

The attack, which involved strikes on bases some 4,000 miles from the Ukrainian border, has already been branded “Russia’s Pearl Harbor” by gloomy pro-Moscow military bloggers…

Six migrants charged in SC mom’s murder detailed crime in eerie text messages: ‘Just the beginning’

On May 12, authorities announced the arrests of Asael Aminadas Torres-Chirinos, 21; Jarby Ardon Ramos-Odari, 18; Jeyson Sobied Pineda-Salgado, 17; and three juveniles, ages 13, 14 and 15, in connection with Thompson’s death and a separate burglary that occurred on April 30.

Sixth Circuit Deputy Solicitor Melissa McGinnis said all six suspects charged admitted to robbing a car during a May 14 hearing, as The Rock Hill Herald first reported.

“The text messages that have been cited in open court show a complete lack of remorse by the defendants,” former South Carolina Attorney General Charlie Condon told Fox News Digital. “So, the evidence indicates… clearly, a premeditated plan. Then, after the murder is accomplished, there’s just no remorse whatsoever or any regret expressed by any of them for murdering this innocent lady.”

Condon added that while the defendants in this case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, it is “really hard to understand how a human could do that to another human.”

“But… it’s happened here in South Carolina, and the fact that we’ve allowed illegal immigrants into this state to commit such crimes shouldn’t have happened. It has happened,” he said. “They’re here. But I’m hoping the family…can take some comfort in the fact that the local authorities are prosecuting this case so vigorously so that there might be some measure of justice coming their way.”

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department said Torres-Chirinos allegedly pulled the trigger….

Through digital surveillance, investigators also identified Torres-Chirinos, the 21-year-old suspect, at the scene of both crimes. They questioned him at the sheriff’s office on May 8, and by the end of that day, they had identified, located and detained the five additional suspects.

“These illegal immigrants shouldn’t have been here to begin with. And had that not occurred, she would be living her life right now today,” Condon said. “But they were allowed into this country. They weren’t stopped. And so the depravity of the crime just shocks the conscience.”

The three adult suspects are charged with murder, attempted armed robbery and second-degree burglary. Authorities believe Torres-Chirinos fired the handgun in both incidents, and he is charged with two counts of firearms possession during the commission of a crime and one count of firearms possession by an unlawful alien. A judge denied bond for all three men.

Condon suspects prosecutors may pursue the death penalty against Torres-Chirinos….

Department of Energy Saves Taxpayers over $3 Billion

Kayla Bartkowski/Getty

The U.S. Department of Energy is saving U.S. taxpayers well over $3 billion, U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright announced.

Even with Elon Musk formally departed from the widespread Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) efforts, individual agencies are continuing on in that journey, moving to slash waste and save taxpayers millions — or in this case, billions — of dollars.

Wright announced that his department is saving U.S. taxpayers a whopping $3.7 billion with the termination of 24 awards issued by the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). According to the press release, after a financial review of the rewards, the Department of Energy found that the projects “failed to advance the energy needs of the American people, were not economically viable and would not generate a positive return on investment of taxpayer dollars.”

Therefore, they were terminated:

Of the 24 awards cancelled, nearly 70% (16 of the 24 projects) were signed between Election Day and January 20th. The projects primarily include funding for carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) and decarbonization initiatives. By terminating these awards, DOE is generating an immediate $3.6 billion in savings for the American people.

Wright said in a statement that the contrast between how the Trump administration handled this and the Biden administration could not be more clear….

Pro-Hamas Agitators STORM THE STAGE at National Security Forum During Trump Navy Secretary’s Remarks Just One Day After Islamist Terror Attack In Colorado (VIDEO)

A Trump Administration official was put into harm’s way today, just one day after an anti-semitic illegal alien terrorist burned several Jews alive in Colorado.

Navy Secretary John Phelan spoke today at the Special Competitive Studies Project Conference (SCSPAIExpo25) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC to discuss various topics, including maritime dominance and artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, a few unwelcome guests made life miserable for the rest of the attendees.

While Phelan is speaking, he notices a major commotion behind him. A few seconds later, the camera cuts to a handful of pro-Hamas losers holding a large sign who had stormed the stage.

The security did not arrive until well after the agitators had arrived at their destination.

The individuals were apparently speaking out against Palantir & AI military contracts.

As Jim Hoft previously reported, a deranged man screaming anti-Jewish epithets attacked Jewish families, including children, in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday….

Colorado firebomb terror attack suspect was in the US illegally after overstaying his visa, previously applied for asylum: report

Soliman’s LAX landing wasn’t his first attempt to enter the country.

In 2005, the Egyptian was denied a visa, law enforcement officials told CNN. It is unclear if he tried again before 2022, when he was ultimately approved.

The Department of Homeland Security is working alongside the FBI to investigate the “terrorist attack,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed.

Soliman was arrested and identified as the suspect in the fiery attack against a group of people, largely comprised of the elderly, participating in a walk for the Israeli hostages still being held captive by Hamas.

He was allegedly waiting for the group at one of their scheduled stops on the walk.

Pictures showed a shirtless Soliman holding two bottles of clear liquid that were allegedly used as a homemade incendiary device. He also allegedly used a “makeshift flamethrower” to attack the group, officials said.

Eight victims — four men and four women between the ages of 52 and 88 — were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. At least one person was in critical condition as of Sunday evening.

Soliman was also injured during the attack and treated at a nearby hospital….
