California saw doctor-assisted deaths surge 63% to 853 last year

Record numbers of people ended their lives in California last year in America’s biggest doctor-assisted suicide program, after lawmakers made it easier for residents to get their hands on lethal drugs.
Last year, 1,270 people got fatal prescriptions under the state’s End of Life Option Act (ELOA), and 853 people used them to end their lives, the California Department of Public Health said in its annual report.
That’s a jump from 863 scripts and 522 deaths the previous year.
The data come amid growing concerns that California, Oregon, and other US states are liberalizing their assisted-suicide programs too quickly and following the example of Canada, where some 13,500 people were euthanized last year.
NYC’s newest migrant shelter set to cost taxpayers $20M a month

The shelter, which will accommodate 2,000 adult asylum seekers, is located on the city’s Randall’s Island.
This marks the second instance of the city establishing a shelter on the island. In October 2022, the city invested nearly $1 million into a shelter, which closed within two weeks after its launch due to limited utilization.
Since last year, 100,000 migrants have arrived in the city, with nearly 60,000 currently housed in 198 shelters provided by the city.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams calls this situation a crisis, emphasizing that without federal assistance, the city could face costs reaching into the billions.
Minnesota town’s ENTIRE police force quits – and has zero applicants

But while residents in the tiny community of just 1,300 say they were ‘floored’ by the decision, Goodhue Police Chief Josh Smith said there is no end in sight as he hasn’t had a single applicant to fill the vacancies.
He previously lamented the poor pay offered to officers, which stood at $22-an-hour in Goodhue, as he warned the town’s city council that ‘there’s nobody getting into the game.’
‘If you want to keep the PD, and this is something we want to continue going with, something needs to change dramatically and drastically, and it’s got to happen now,’ he said.
The mass-resignation came after a meeting Goodhue City Council meeting on Monday evening in a discussion over police pay increases. The resignations were accepted in the meeting, with the whole force set to leave by August 24.
Smith had signaled he was intent on resigning weeks earlier, when he told officials he couldn’t find any new recruits and was losing prospects to the big cities.
Maui Residents Organizing Their Own Relief Efforts. Is This Biden’s Katrina?

The point is simple; Biden’s “no comment” is hiding a lack of relief for Maui residents. How do we know? Maui residents are organizing their own relief efforts.
Many Maui residents have since launched their own relief efforts, shuttling supplies to the fire-devastated region by boat. For days, a mini-flotilla of aid-laden boats have arrived off the shore of Kaanapali, just north of Lahaina.
On Saturday aboard the Lani Kai, a host of volunteers and a few journalists joined its captain and first officer as the boat made way toward Kaanapali, keeping about a mile off shore as it passed the charred remains of Lahaina.
“Maui and Hawaii has always been about aloha. It’s a very small community and we need to help each other,” Spencer Erwin, the boat’s captain, said.
“Aloha, as anyone here will tell you, refers to a broad sense of love and fellowship,” the WSJ noted.
“It’s every man, woman and child doing what they can to help, imagining that’s their brother without any supplies on the westside of Maui,” Erwin said.
So where is FEMA? Where is Biden? Ordinary people doing the job that FEMA and the federal government should be doing hasn’t even elicited a peep from most in the media. Of course not, because Joe Biden and the Hawaiian government are Democrats.
RFK Jr. knows the left is playing games with the Maui fire narrative…

There’s a whirlwind of talk, concern, and speculation surrounding the Maui fires that devastated the town of Lahaina.
However, this narrative is running into a brick wall, particularly because 2024 presidential candidate and environmental lawyer RFK Jr. is throwing cold water all over their claims.
RFK shared a Breitbart article that elaborates on the probable cause of the Maui fires: mismanagement of the land.
Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding the fires rages on. A new report from National Pulse shows that John Pelletier, the current Chief of the Maui Police Department amid the ongoing Hawaiian wildfires, acted as Incident Commander for the mysterious Las Vegas Police mass shooting.

Illegal alien in US 20 years, accused of raping children

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and other members of Tennessee’s representation in Congress are asking why a criminal illegal immigrant named Camilo Hurtado Campos was able to stay in the US for over two decades.
Campos was recently arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, after restaurant workers allegedly discovered photos and videos on his phone showing him raping and abusing unconscious children.
Detectives have since allegedly found hundreds of videos and photos of Campos abusing of at least 10 boys between the ages of 9 and 17.
The members of Congress wrote a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas has presided over an unprecedented surge in illegal border crossings.
According to Customs and Border Protection, thousands of illegal border crossers each year are criminals who have committed crimes ranging from terrorist acts to murder.
Tombstone Marshals Stop Human Smuggling Attempt near Arizona Border

Tucson Sector Border Patrol Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin tweeted that Wilcox Station agents assisted Tombstone Marshal’s Office deputies with a traffic stop. A search of the vehicle uncovered four migrants hiding in the SUV’s back seat and rear cargo area.
Elsewhere in the sector, Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) agents provided emergency medical care to ta 22-year-old migrant suffering severe dehydration. The agents arrested the migrant near Three Points, Arizona on August 7; Chief Modlin tweeted on Monday.
Through the first 14 days of August, Tucson Sector agents apprehended nearly 21,000 migrants, according to unofficial Border Patrol reports obtained from a law enforcement source. Since the beginning of FY23 on October 1, 2022, Tucson Sector agents apprehended more than 294,000 migrants, reports indicate.
Arkansas Nixes Credit for AP African American Course

“The department encourages the teaching of all American history and supports rigorous courses not based on opinions or indoctrination,” she said in a statement.
High school educators may choose to offer the curriculum, but those taking it will not receive advance placement credit.
Hillary Clinton breaks out into laughter before Trump indictment: ‘Oh, I can’t believe this’

Just hours before former President Donald Trump was indicted for a fourth time in Georgia on Monday night, his former political opponent, Hillary Clinton, laughed merrily at him on MSNBC.
“All over the country, people are wondering what Hillary Rodham Clinton is thinking watching things unfold in Georgia,” MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said Monday to laughs from Clinton.
“Oh, I can’t believe this,” Clinton said, again breaking out into laughter. “Honestly, I didn’t think that it would be under these circumstances. Yet another set of indictments.”
Vaccine Provider Incentive Program:

There were two main programs for “incentives” for this regulated biological product. The first was pretty straight-up; this many bucks extra per jabbed patient as an “incentive”.
The government paid insurance companies, who then would reimburse providers.
The amount of money for this program is staggering, although the government has not made the individual distribution amounts of insurance companies, pharmacies, etc. public. Most likely, it will take a FOIA request to obtain specific information (if anyone has access to those documents, don’t hesitate to email info@rwmalonemd.org with copies or links!)
To begin, Kentucky Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield kindly put many of their PDFs from their corporate managers regarding their various financial incentive programs distributed to providers on the web on a page titled, “COVID-19 Information From Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid (Anthem)”

Afghanistan: Taliban celebrate 2 years since return to power

Taliban authorities held official events across the country, celebrating what they called “Afghanistan’s Independence day from the US occupation.”
US-led forces overthrew the Taliban-led Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in 2001 and withdrew 20 years later.
“On the second anniversary of the conquest of Kabul, we would like to congratulate the mujahid (holy warrior) nation of Afghanistan and ask them to thank Almighty Allah for this great victory,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.
“The conquest of Kabul proved once again that no one can control the proud nation of Afghanistan and guarantee their stay in this country,” the Taliban government said in a statement.

180 Canadians doctors have died SUDDENLY

Canadian doctors complied with COVID-19 vaccine mandates, and now face an excess mortality of 54% in 2022, which is heavily skewed towards younger physicians, with the youngest doctors under age 30 dying at +1100% excess mortality.
There were 11 deaths while exercising and 6 deaths while sleeping – I believe most of these were due to COVID-19 vaccine induced myocarditis and cardiac arrest, or heart attack.
Of the 180 sudden or unexpected deaths of practicing doctors 42/180 or 23% were cancers, most appear to be turbo cancers, but not all. This is much higher than I expected.
From the limited information, at least 11 doctors died due to suicide and I suspect most (or all) of these are due to neurological injury caused by COVID-19 vaccine spike protein expression and accumulation in the brain.
Poland stages biggest military parade since Cold War

The Armed Forces Day parade took place on the anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, in which Polish troops defeated Bolshevik forces advancing on Europe.
“August 15 is not only an opportunity to pay homage to the heroes of the victorious Battle of Warsaw and to thank contemporary soldiers for defending our homeland,” Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said.
“It is also a perfect day to show our strength, to show that we have built powerful armed forces that will effectively defend our borders without hesitation.”
Around 2,000 soldiers from Poland and other countries of the NATO military alliance participated in the parade.
They marched through Warsaw accompanied by 200 items of defense equipment, while helicopters including Black Hawks and jets including F-16s and FA-50s flew overhead.
‘Massive Explosion’ at Russian Gas Station Kills 30, Including Children, Day of Mourning Called

The explosion took place Monday night on the outskirts of Makhachkala, the region’s capital. A fire started at a car repair shop and spread to a nearby gas station, prompting a blast, Russia’s state news agency RIA Novosti reported, citing the country’s Emergency Ministry. The subsequent fire raged on the area of 600 square meters (yards), the report said.
Some of those injured will be airlifted to Moscow for treatment, according to the report. Russian authorities have begun a criminal investigation.
Families of the victims will receive 1 million rubles (about $10,000) each, Dagestan’s authorities said, and those injured – 200,000-400,000 rubles (about $2,000-$4,000).
Tuesday in Dagestan has been declared the day of mourning.
War of words intensifies as Hezbollah chief Nasrallah threatens to wipe out Israel

Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah – the Iranian terrorist proxy organization in Lebanon – threatened Israel with extinction on Monday.
Nasrallah charged that in the case of conflict, Hezbollah will ensure that Israel “will cease to exist.”
His made this threat during a televised speech that marked 17 years since the end of the Second Lebanon War.
In the speech, Nasrallah said that Israel’s military had been “weakened” and that it was unable to restore its former image.

Local media said the attacks were the largest air assault on the Lviv region since the Russian invasion in February 2022.
The fatalities were reported in the northwestern region of Volyn. Officials said an industrial enterprise in the regional capital Lutsk was struck in the overnight attack. Several people were also hospitalized, Gov. Yuriy Pohulyaiko said.
Swedish industrial bearings maker SKF said its factory in Lutsk was hit by a missile overnight, killing three employees.
Malaysia Airlines ‘disruptive’ passenger charged after allegedly threatening to blow up plane during flight

Muhammad Arif, a resident of Canberra, was taken into custody without incident after Malaysia Airlines flight MH122 was forced to return to Sydney Airport more than three hours into the eight-hour flight to Kuala Lumpur.
However, 30 minutes into the flight, Parambath said Arif became louder, stood up and started pushing and shoving passengers before implying that he had explosives in a backpack.
The 45-year-old became “disruptive” aboard the Airbus A330 and claimed to have explosives, Australian Federal Police (AFP) said in a statement.
Germany purchases dozens of decommissioned Leopard 1 tanks for Ukraine

German defense contractor Rheinmetall has bought 49 second-hand Leopard-1 tanks from a Belgian arms dealer for use in Ukraine, a company spokesman said last week.
A spokesman for the German government said the tanks would be part of a military aid package announced by Defense Minister Oscar Pistorius at last month’s NATO summit in Lithuania.
Freddy Versluys, CEO of the private defense company OIP Land Systems, announced the sale of the tanks on Tuesday, telling several media outlets that they were bought by an unnamed European state for an undisclosed price.
The Belgian government had negotiated with Versluys earlier this year to buy the Leopards, but ultimately refused to pay the €500,000 per tank that was being asked for.
The Western arms manufacturers making a killing from the Ukraine war

Revenues of leading Western defense companies have sky-rocketed following the outbreak of war in Europe, and U.S. arms manufacturers continue to dominate the global arms industry, news portal Mandiner reports.
According to the Defense News magazine’s recent ranking of the “100 largest defense companies in 2022,” the five largest U.S. arms companies have combined revenues of $196 billion.
Four U.S.-based companies were ranked among the world’s five largest military companies. The United States has become Ukraine’s main source of arms in the midst of the war, providing some $37 billion in military aid to Kyiv, according to the portal.
In the first half of the year, revenues at the 25 largest Western defense companies rose 11 percent to $212 billion, according to the latest available data.
It is calculated that total arms sales by these companies are expected to reach $448 billion in 2023, an increase of $47 billion from last year.
By 2026, that amount could rise by more than 20 percent to $554 billion due to arms shipments to Ukraine and rearmament in Europe, according to the report.

How to Watch (Free): Upcoming Censorship roundtable with Greenwald, Attkisson, RFK Jr, Younes, Holly

On Thurs. Aug. 17 at 8p EST, I’ll be moderating a discussion on one of the most crucial topics of our time, among some of the most-censored people on important subjects.
- Journalist Glenn Greenwald
- Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
- Attorney Jenin Younes
- Former New Jersey Assemblyman Jamel Holley
According to organizers, “Each of these participants has been a steadfast supporter of the First Amendment — Greenwald broke the Edward Snowden story; Attkisson stood up to government intimidation; Younes has represented plaintiffs in Missouri v. Biden; and Holley has stood for the free exercise of religion in his state, even against the wrath of his political party.”
Participation in this event by the invitees does not constitute endorsement of any presidential candidate.

Pollak: 11 Key Takeaways from Georgia Indictment of Donald Trump

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 lawyers, aides, and supporters in Georgia late Monday night for their efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results.
2. The indictment was rushed, and leaked by Fulton County before the grand jury had voted. Though a “special” grand jury — with a clear anti-Trump bias — had already recommended charges against Trump, the grand jury that voted to indict him on Monday only heard testimony for one day.
Hours before the grand jury voted, however, the county court posted, then deleted, a document that resembled the final indictment, which may have violated Trump’s rights and suggests a rigged process.
8. The indictment covers conduct in other states, not just in Georgia. While the indictment focuses on Georgia, it includes conduct in other states, such as a public hearing about voting irregularities in Pennsylvania.
It also attempts to implicate Trump and his campaign in violations of federal laws, suggesting that the local, county prosecutor thinks she can enforce federal law. That may be an attempt to steal the limelight from U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith; it may also be unconstitutional.

‘Clockwork’: Four Trump Indictments Drop After Four Damning Biden Business Revelations

Each indictment immediately changed the news cycle focused on Hunter Biden and the Biden family business revelations.
The indictments enabled the establishment media to ignore growing allegations of impropriety of President Joe Biden and to focus on “getting” Trump.
Conservatives told Breitbart News the timeline seems very suspicious and suggested Democrats are trying to keep the spotlight off the Biden family.
“Every one of these nonsensical, politicized, and unconstitutional indictments against President Trump has been designed not only to hurt his chances come 2024 but also to coverup and deflect attention from the far more serious and egregious crimes of President Biden’s son and partner-in-crime, Hunter Biden,” Gavin Wax, president of the New York Young Republican Club, told Breitbart News.

Veteran vows to fight ‘woke policies,’ homeless crisis in liberal enclave with bid for Congress

A Marine Corps veteran and frequent critic of California’s homeless crisis announced Tuesday that she plans to run for Congress as Republican in 2024, promising to take a stand against the “woke ideology” permeating politics.
“I think that it’s time for a Republican to step in,” Kate Monroe told Fox News in an exclusive interview ahead of her announcement. “I think a lot of people, not just people on the right, are looking for us to get a little back closer to center with our policies here in San Diego.”
Monroe is running for the Republican nomination to unseat Democratic Rep. Mike Levin in California’s 49th Congressional District.
The swing district stretches from southern Orange County to northern coastal portions of San Diego County. Prior to Levin’s election in 2018, it was long represented by Republican Rep. Darrell Issa.
Trump’s far-left foes cheer 4th indictment: ‘Twice-impeached former white supremacist-in-chief’

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., quoted Theodore Parker and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in reaction to news of the latest charges.
“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.,” she wrote on X.
Willis gave Trump and his alleged co-conspirators until Aug. 25 to surrender voluntarily.
The indictment is Trump’s fourth in the span of six months. He is the first former U.S. president to ever face criminal charges after leaving office.
Hunter Biden lawyer withdraws from case ahead of expected witness testimony on ‘sweetheart’ plea deal

In a court filing obtained by Fox News, Clark motioned to withdraw as counsel, saying the move was “necessitated by recent developments in the matter.”
Under Delaware Rule of Professional Conduct, which Clark points to in his filing, “a lawyer shall not act as an advocate at a trial in which the lawyer is likely to be a necessary witness unless..disqualification of the lawyer would work substantial hardship on the client.”
“Based on recent developments, it appears that the negotiation and drafting of the plea agreement and diversion agreement will be contested, and Mr. Clark is a percipient witness to those issues,” the filing states.

The Evidence that Convicts the CIA of the JFK Assassination, Part 2

My aim in writing my recent article “The Evidence that Convicts the CIA of the JFK Assassination” was to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that the CIA was complicit in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. As I stated in that article, there is no innocent explanation for the secret production of an altered, fraudulent copy of the film of the assassination. Once one concludes that the CIA did, in fact, produce an altered, fraudulent copy of the Zapruder film, one has automatically concluded that the CIA was complicit in the assassination itself. There is no way around that.
However, acknowledging the possibility that there could still be people who are still not convinced of the CIA’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, I decided to write this supplemental article to bolster my case with additional evidence, which I believe should convince those who might still not be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the CIA did, in fact, produce an altered, fraudulent copy of the Zapruder film on the weekend of the assassination and, therefore, is criminally culpable in the assassination itself.
Death by Waste on Pretending to Control Weather

Spending on housing for the illegal aliens they import is dwarfed by the money poured down Ukraine, which is dwarfed in turn by flagrant waste under the pretense of controlling the weather.
Here’s a relatively inexpensive (at this point) but representatively demented example:
As part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) [on August 11] announced up to $1.2 billion to advance the development of two commercial-scale direct air capture facilities in Texas and Louisiana. These projects—the first of this scale in the United States—represent the initial selections from the President’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law-funded Regional Direct Air Capture (DAC) Hubs program, which aims to kickstart a nationwide network of large-scale carbon removal sites to address legacy carbon dioxide pollution and complement rapid emissions reductions.
This is bad news for plants, which rely on the essential nutrient carbon dioxide, a normal and necessary component of our atmosphere that Democrats demonize for strategic reasons.
If there could be a more insane way to waste money even than carbon capture, it could only be climate justice:
