WATCH: Local School Board Kicks Out California Superintendent from Meeting on Transgender Parental Notification

The board voted 4-1 to approve a policy that requires schools in the district to notify parents or guardians if a child wishes to change his or her gender. Critics say the policy requires to “out” transgender kids to parents.

Thurmond, elected in 2018 with backing from the powerful state teachers’ unions, was kicked out after giving a speech warning the school board that they were putting children at risk by notifying parents of their transitions.

Thurmond was not the only state official to intervene in the Riverside County community’s decision. State Attorney General Rob Bonta wrote to the board to object to notifying parents when children want to change their gender, warning of “potential infringements on students’ privacy rights and educational opportunities.”

Parents at the meeting disagreed, saying that the state was infringing their rights to guide their own children.

The date falls after most of the Republican presidential primaries which will largely wrap up on March 12 and before the Republican national convention is scheduled for July 15-18.

AP reports the trial date is seen as a compromise between a request from prosecutors to set the trial for this December and a request from defense lawyers to schedule it after the 2024 presidential election.

Trump and aide Walt Nauta have pleaded not guilty to numerous charges of illegally keeping national defense records after leaving office and conspiring to hide them, as Breitbart News reported.

Report: Prosecutor Preparing Racketeering Indictment Against Trump

A Fulton County, Georgia, prosecutor is reportedly preparing to oversee a possible grand jury indictment of former President Donald Trump on racketeering charges for his efforts to contest the 2020 election results, The Guardian newspaper is reporting.

The news outlet attributed its information to two sources briefed on the matter. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis believes she has evidence to pursue the racketeering indictment based on laws related to influencing witnesses and computer trespass, the sources told The Guardian.

The racketeering statute in Georgia spells out that any attempts to solicit or coerce the qualifying crimes can be included as predicate acts of racketeering activity, even when those crimes cannot be indicted separately.

Florida babysitter arrested after 10-month-old infant dies while left in hot car

Rhonda Jewell had been watching the child on certain occasions since June, according to the Baker County Sheriff’s Office. (Baker County Sheriff’s Office)

Police say around 8 a.m., Jewell, who “has been the infant’s babysitter on occasions since June of this year,” picked up the girl from her mother’s home before driving to another residence “where she was going to babysit other children as well.”

“Rhonda arrived and went into the residence, leaving the infant in the vehicle. It wasn’t until the mother of the infant arrived around 1:00 PM to pick up the infant that Rhonda realized the infant was left in the vehicle,” the Baker County Sheriff’s Office said.

A police incident report said the temperature inside the vehicle where the child was left reached “over 133 degrees, for a period of at least 5 hours,” according to First Coast News.

The station, citing the report, said hospital staff indicated to police that the child’s internal temperature reached 110 F, the highest reading its thermometers could record.

Illegal Alien, Wanted by Interpol for Murder in El Salvador, Captured Years After Obama’s DHS Freed Him into U.S.

ICE

In October 2016, Josue Salvador Hernandez Portillo arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border near Hidalgo, Texas, from El Salvador and was apprehended by Border Patrol agents. A month later, Portillo was given a Notice to Appear (NTA) in federal immigration court and allowed to bond out of DHS custody.

Then, in July 2017, the government of El Salvador issued an arrest warrant for Portillo for aggravated homicide and, in July 2018, issued another arrest warrant for deprivation of liberties.

Months later, in January 2019, Interpol issued a Red Notice for Portillo.

In April of this year, Portillo failed to appear before a federal immigration judge at his deportation hearing in Arlington, Virginia, and was ordered deported in absentia. In May, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested Portillo in Richmond, Virginia.

Portillo was deported last week on July 14.

Gavin Newsom Wants Power to Fine School Districts That Resist LGBTQIA2S Curriculum

Newsom also said that he is committed to fining the Temecula district for non-compliance, despite the fact that he does not yet have the power to do so, and that doing so would hurt the students of the district directly.

Last month, Newsom attacked Komrosky for calling Milk a “pedophile,” slamming “an offensive statement from an ignorant person.” As Breitbart News noted:

“Daniel Greenfield of Frontpage Mag addressed the claims of Harvey Milk being a pedophile, citing a book claiming the icon had relationships with two teenagers, who were allegedly 16 and 17 years old, respectively, at the time. The legal age of consent in California is 18 years old.”

The inclusion of LGBTQ materials, especially those involving discussions of sexuality, has prompted strong opposition in some local districts, even leading to fights at school board meetings near Los Angeles in June.

Stunning Video Exposes How Trans Activists ‘Conquered American Life’

The video, “The Transgender Empire: How the trans movement conquered American life,” is produced by the Manhattan Institute and published on Rufo’s Substack page, as well as YouTube.

Rufo is a senior fellow at the institute and one of the nation’s leading authorities on (trans)”gender ideology,” its “queer theory” foundation, and “critical race theory,” or CRT.

“This is the great project of the transgender movement: to abolish the distinctions of man and woman, to transcend the limitations established by creation, to hitch the personal struggle of trans individuals to the political struggle of revolution,” says Rufo, summarizing the fanatical aims of early transgender theorists. “All of society must be reorganized to affirm their identities, and more importantly, their politics.”

Putin to Poland: Hostility on Belarus an Attack on Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday accused NATO member Poland of having territorial ambitions in the former Soviet Union, and said any aggression against Russia’s neighbor and close ally Belarus would be considered an attack on Russia.

Moscow would react to any aggression against Belarus, which forms a loose “Union State” with Russia, “with all the means at our disposal,” Putin told a meeting of his Security Council in televised remarks.

Warsaw’s Security Committee decided on Wednesday to move military units to eastern Poland after members of the Russian Wagner mercenary force arrived in Belarus, the state-run news agency PAP quoted its secretary as saying on Friday.

CHINA TESTS HYPERSONIC SPACE PLANE WHICH CAN GO AT SPEED OF MACH 30

A general look at the spaceplane and mother ship concept featured in the footage related to the JF-22 wind tunnel that the CCTV-13 recently broadcast. CCTV capture

The JF-22 hypervelocity wind tunnel, developed by the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in Beijing, passed an “acceptance check” last month and is now ready for general use.

The project, initiated in 2018, involved constructing the JF-22, which measures approximately 548 feet (167 meters) in length overall, with a “test cabin” of around 13 feet (four meters) in diameter.

The design observed in the video appears to share some broad similarities with previously showcased air-launched spaceplane and mothership concepts from Chinese aerospace companies and academic institutions.

The delta-winged, dart-shaped planform seen in the footage bears a resemblance to designs presented in wind tunnel test images and a video released by the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics (CAAA) in 2019.

Police said the assault on the two women occurred May 4 — a day after deadly ethnic clashes broke out in the state.

According to a police complaint filed May 18, the two women were part of a family attacked by a mob that killed its two male members. The complaint alleges rape and murder by “unknown miscreants.”

The ethnic violence depicted in the video comes amid the backdrop of a near-civil war in Manipur, where mobs have rampaged through villages and torched houses, leaving more than 130 people dead since May.

The conflict was sparked by an affirmative action controversy in which Christian Kukis protested a demand from the mostly Hindu Meiteis for a special status that would let them buy land in the hills populated by Kukis, and other tribal groups and get a share of government jobs.

JAPAN TO DEPLOY PRE-CRIME STYLE “BEHAVIOR DETECTION” TECHNOLOGY

The Japan National Police Agency has decided to adopt AI-enhanced pre-crime surveillance cameras to bolster the security measures surrounding VIPs.

This step comes in response to the commemoration of the shocking assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the rising threats posed by what the government called “lone offenders.”

The use of AI in law enforcement is becoming commonplace globally.

A 2019 study by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace revealed that 52 out of the 176 nations surveyed were incorporating AI tools into their policing strategies, Nikkei Asia reported.

Notably, the effectiveness of such technology in monitoring abnormal behavior and providing better deployment of police officers has been endorsed by Isao Itabashi, a counterterrorism expert at the Tokyo-based Council for Public Policy.

Comer: Hunter Faces 10 Criminal Referrals

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer says he expects to file “between six and 10 criminal referrals” against Hunter Biden once his congressional panel finishes its investigation into President Joe Biden’s family.

This would include evidence that he had violated the federal Mann Act, which makes it illegal to transport women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution, the Kentucky Republican told Fox Business on Thursday night, reports The New York Post.

Comer added that other referrals could include violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

“He was money laundering,” the congressman said. “He was racketeering. He committed wire fraud. He violated the Mann Act. The list goes on and on and on.”

Report: Some House Republicans Oppose Expunging Donald Trump’s Impeachments

JIM WATSON/AFP via Getty Images

Stefanik’s resolution aims to expunge Trump’s impeachment regarding January 6. She asserts the facts and circumstances upon which the House Democrats impeached Trump did not meet the burden of proving that Trump committed “high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” She also argues the impeachment did not establish that Trump engaged in an “insurrection or rebellion against the United States.”

Greene’s resolution focuses on Trump’s 2019 impeachment regarding the “perfect phone call.” Greene argues Trump was wrongfully accused of misconduct, demonstrated by the information revealed in the FBI informant document that alleges Joe Biden took a $5 million bribe. The resolution asserts the articles of impeachment did not meet the burden of proof of “high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

But “moderate Republicans” reportedly oppose expunging the Democrat impeachment due to reelection concerns.
