Lutheran Church Recites ’Sparkle Creed’ Describing ’Nonbinary God’ and Jesus’ ’Two Dads’

A Lutheran church in Minnesota recited a “sparkle creed” about the “nonbinary God” and Jesus’ “two dads” during its Sunday service, according to a live stream recording on YouTube.
Edina Community Lutheran Church Pastor Anna Helgen asked the congregation to stand in “body or spirit” to “confess our faith” in the “sparkle creed,” according to the recording. The church went on to chant a statement of faith in the “nonbinary God” and in Jesus Christ, “who had two dads.”
Helgen then led a prayer to the God of “expansive and inclusive love” for shrinking honey bee populations and “climate justice,” according to the recording.
The church also prayed for the upcoming Pride festival, for “all LGBTQIA+ leaders” and for those who have felt excluded due to their “gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or any other human distinction.”
Five more charged in human smuggling case that left 53 dead

A grand jury charged Riley Covarrubias-Ponce, Felipe Orduna-Torres, Luis Alberto Rivera-Leal and Armando Gonzales-Ortega with four federal crimes related to human smuggling, including transportation of illegal aliens resulting in death, per the indictment.
From December 2021 to June 2022, the four suspects allegedly worked together to illegally transport migrants “by sharing routes, guides, stash houses, trucks, trailers, and transporters,” according to federal authorities.
Some of the defendants were allegedly aware the trailer’s air-conditioning didn’t work and would not blow any cool air to the migrants inside, a statement from the Justice Department said.
The four men have been identified as Mexican nationals and have been arrested. If found guilty on the top counts, they each face a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Lordstown Motors Files for Bankruptcy, Sues Foxconn

NEW YORK—U.S. electric truck manufacturer Lordstown Motors filed for bankruptcy protection on Tuesday and put itself up for sale after failing to resolve a dispute over a promised investment from Taiwan’s Foxconn.
Shares of Lordstown tumbled 60 percent in pre-market trading.
“The bankruptcy of Lordstown signals that the days of successful EV startups is in the rear view mirror,” said Thomas Hayes, chairman at hedge fund Great Hill Capital.
The automaker, named after the Ohio town where it is based, filed for Chapter 11 protection in Delaware and simultaneously took legal action against Foxconn.
Ford Cutting Several Hundred White-Collar Jobs to Reduce Cost Amid Transition to Electric Vehicles

DEARBORN, Mich.—Ford Motor Co. is going through another round of white-collar job cuts as the company continues to reduce costs amid a transition to electric vehicles.
The company confirmed Tuesday that it was starting to notify several hundred engineers and other salaried employees that their jobs are being eliminated. The firings come after around 200 Ford contract employees were let go last week.
Spokesman T.R. Reid wouldn’t give a specific number of Ford jobs that are being cut this week, but said they are not nearly the scale of those made last summer when the company let go of 3,000 white-collar workers and another 1,000 contractors largely in the U.S.
No Evidence of Criminality in Jeffrey Epstein’s Death: Watchdog

An investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s death in federal custody uncovered no evidence of criminality, a watchdog reported on June 27.
Misconduct by jail staffers led to Epstein’s death but no criminal acts were uncovered, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Inspector General said in a 128-page report.
The watchdog found that staffers in the facility violated multiple policies, including failing to assign Epstein a new cellmate after his cellmate was transferred and failing to conduct rounds the morning he was found dead.

Supreme Court justices rule state lawmakers do not have exclusive control over elections in key decision

The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that state judges do have the power to override state legislatures when it comes to how federal elections are carried out.
In a 6-3 opinion authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, the high court ruled that the Elections Clause of Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution “does not insulate state legislatures from the ordinary exercise of state judicial review.”
Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett and Ketanji Brown Jackson were in the majority. Justice Clarence Thomas dissented, in which Justice Neil Gorsuch and Samuel Alito joined.
The case went to the high Court after a North Carolina state court threw out GOP-drawn congressional maps first submitted in November 2021.
Louisiana schools must put ‘In God We Trust’ in classrooms

(NewsNation) — Schools in Louisiana will soon be required to display a sign with the motto “In God We Trust” in every classroom in public schools.
Previously, the state required the national motto to be displayed on a sign somewhere in each school, but legislation sponsored by state Rep. Dodie Horton expanded it to every classroom. The law also sets a minimum 11- by 14-inch size for each poster and mandates the phrase be in an easily understandable font.
Hunter Biden Is Being Deposed On Thursday. Here’s What He Should Be Asked Under Oath

Hunter Biden will face hours of questioning — under oath — on Thursday when he sits for a deposition in the civil case brought by the owner of the computer repair shop where he abandoned his laptop.
The deposition represents the first time the president’s son will be forced to confirm he owned the laptop that contained a cache of emails incriminating the Biden family in a pay-to-play scandal.
And unlike the criminal investigation into Hunter’s conduct, this time his father’s administration won’t be able to protect him.

Saudi Arabia set to cut oil supply to US – Bloomberg

Saudi Arabia could slash oil exports to the US in July, which would result in the tightening of Western markets, Bloomberg reported on Monday.
The kingdom is set to unilaterally reduce its crude production next month by 1 million barrels per day (bpd), which equates to a 10% drop. The move would slash the country’s total output to 9 million barrels a day, its lowest level since 2011.
After the production cut, Riyadh would have less than 6 million barrels for export, according to Bloomberg estimates. As a result, oil exports to Western countries could be affected more than shipments to Asia, Saudi Arabia’s primary market, the outlet predicted.
Ukraine has recaptured territory held by Russia since 2014, UK says – as Zelenskyy visits frontline

“Recent multiple concurrent Ukrainian assaults throughout the Donbas” may have also left separatist forces in the area overstretched, the UK’s analysis added.
This is believed to be one of the first instances of gains being made since the war began last February.
And in his nightly video address delivered from a train, Mr Zelenskyy described it as a “happy day” where he met “absolutely heroic people”.
Sky’s defence and security analyst Professor Michael Clarke says Ukraine is capitalising on Russian chaos caused by Wagner’s rebellion over the weekend.
Liz Truss calls for UK to have plan if Russia collapses after Wagner mutiny

Speaking in the House of Commons, Ms Truss said: “We, and our allies – including the Ukrainians, including the Poles, including the Baltic states – need to make sure that we have a plan in the case of the implosion of Russia.”
While he did not respond to Ms Truss’s point initially, Mr Cleverly later said that “the leadership of Russia is for the Russian people”.
“We do not speculate or attempt to predict – what we do is plan and put in place contingency arrangements,” he added.
“And so therefore, whatever the outcome of this conflict is, we shall be prepared.”
Russia-Ukraine war latest: People ‘screaming under rubble’ after missile attack at restaurant; Wagner leader’s location revealed

Today’s strike on a busy shopping centre in Kramatorsk has killed at least two people, Ukrainian authorities have said.
A further 22 people are injured – including a child – and a search and rescue operation is under way.
A pizza restaurant said to be popular with journalists was destroyed in the attack, and several private homes were damaged.
In an image shared by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, a man stands in front of the destroyed building with his head wrapped in a bandage and blood on his jeans.
A freelance journalist on the ground in Kramatorsk says he was in the RIA pizza restaurant 10 minutes before it was hit with Russian missiles.
Arnaud De Decker said that an hour after the explosions, he could still hear “people screaming underneath the rubble”.
He shared a photo of his meal about 20 minutes before the attack took place.
Africa’s richest city is now a crumbling hellscape after less than 30 years of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion…

In the meantime, Johannesburg has fallen thanks to CRT and DEI. It’s nearly impossible live normally, let alone run a business; power outages can last in upwards of ten hours a day in the city. Looking at Johannesburg today, it’s almost impossible to recognize how glorious she once looked.
The continent’s richest city was built on gold, but it’s now defined by chaos, crime and corruption more than ever. It encapsulates the wider collapse of basic services across South Africa. From a broken railway network disrupting trade to archaic sanitation that triggered a recent cholera outbreak near the capital, Pretoria, parts of the country increasingly look like a failing state.
The once thriving, cosmopolitan city is now basically run by warlords and thieves.
At the heart of the dysfunction in Johannesburg is a governance crisis. Since the country’s governing national party, the African National Congress, lost control of the city in 2016, unstable coalitions have resulted in six mayors in four years. The current leader is a member of a party that holds 1% of the municipality’s 270 seats.
While many global progressives may applaud themselves for their role in combating “racism” and promoting equity and inclusion in South Africa, they overlook this stark reality: the people of South Africa are currently grappling with tremendous levels of fear, hopelessness, and a sense of enslavement like never before.

Black Lives Matter chapter president charged with ‘hate-motivated’ assault

Adora Nwofor, 47, also faces one count of mischief after a physical altercation broke out near Western Canada High School last month. She serves as president of Calgary’s Black Lives Matter chapter.
After several minutes, local law enforcement separated the opposing groups to cease the altercation and increase the distance between them. No other alleged assaults occurred during the event, according to a Calgary police statement.
However, Rebel footage revealed that law enforcement detained Alexander and escorted him to the back of a nearby police cruiser. According to his lawyer, police demanded he leave the area.
“While peacefully exercising his Charter rights on public property, he was assaulted. Instead of restraining those committing criminal offences, Calgary police seized Josh and demanded he leaves the area,” said Kitchen.
“I was handcuffed and put in a paddy wagon for offering students Bibles on a public sidewalk in Calgary,” said Alexander following his controversial detainment. “I continued handing out bibles, for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.”

Kevin McCarthy: ‘I Don’t Know’ If Trump Is Strongest Presidential Candidate

House Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy of California questioned whether former President Donald Trump is the strongest presidential candidate in 2024 during a Tuesday appearance on CNBC.
“Can he win that election? Yeah, he can. The question is, is he the strongest to win the election? I don’t know that answer,” McCarthy said Tuesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
Though McCarthy has yet to endorse a Republican primary candidate, he has remained an ally of the former president post-indictments, and even sought his advice during the debt ceiling negotiations. McCarthy argued that Trump can beat President Joe Biden in the general election.
“Can Trump beat Biden? Yeah, he can beat Biden,” McCarthy said. “The Republicans get to select their nominee. I think if you want to go sheer policy to policy, it’s not [just] good for Republicans, it’s good for America. Trump’s policies are better, [more] straightforward, than Biden’s policies.
Former J6 Prisoner Who Served Time for a Fist Bump and Kind Words to Police Is Running for a United States Congressional Seat – Already Endorsed by Mike Lindell

United States Congressional Candidate Derrick Evans plans to be there in January 2025.
After serving a 3-month sentence in federal prison for a fist bump and kind words with police on January 6, 2021, some could argue that his toll is already paid.
“I was elected to the State House in 2020, so when I went to the Capitol on January 6th, I wasn’t there only for myself,” Evans explains in a Sunday evening phone call, “I was also there being the voice for the roughly 50,000 people who had elected me to represent them.”
Much to the chagrin of the political establishment, Evans has no intention of slowing down, and retribution is at the very top of his agenda.
