Anon account holder ‘Catturd’ swatted after being doxxed by leftist outlets

During a Monday afternoon livestream, the man behind the conservative anonymous X account Catturd was swatted.
Around one hour into In the Litter Box with Jewels and Catturd, episode 418, Jewels Jones revealed that Catturd had been swatted and wouldn’t be rejoining the episode.
Jones said she received a text message that stated, “alright, so we have a big problem that’s going on right now, Cat’s house has just been swatted, someone called and pretended to be him and said that he had stabbed someone and had a gun and was going to kill himself.”
In March, Catturd said “I’ll never stop telling the truth,” noting that he gets “doxxed a thousand times a day, hundreds of ridiculous fake pics are posted of me, I get tons of death threats daily, I get leftists saying they’re going murder my pets and on and on and on – just because I speak truth to power.”
Residents tour sites of homes destroyed in Lahaina wildfire

Officials began lifting restrictions on entry to Lahaina on Monday.
Authorities will begin allowing the first residents and property owners to return to their properties in the burn zone, many for the first time since it was demolished nearly seven weeks ago, on Aug. 8, by the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century.
The prospect of returning has stirred strong emotions in residents who fled in vehicles or on foot as the wind-whipped flames raced across Lahaina, the historic capital of the former Hawaiian kingdom, and overcame people stuck in traffic trying to escape.

11K Migrants Caught Entering Arizona Border Sector in One Week, 40K This Month

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin posted a report on X indicating his agents apprehended approximately 11,000 migrants during the past week.
One of those migrants was a convicted rapist who was deported after a conviction in the state of Washington.
With one week to go in Fiscal Year 23, Tucson Sector agents more than 360,000 migrants into custody.
Nearly 49,000 of those were apprehended in August when a new surge of migrants leveraged the welded-open gates in the border wall, near Lukeville, Arizona.
Biden admin not protecting US from a ‘known danger’ at the border, China expert warns

With the number of migrant encounters surging along the southern border, one policy expert warned we may soon face a war with China on U.S. soil.
“We have no idea of the number of Chinese males who come across and are not apprehended. So clearly we have a sabotage problem,” Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang said on “Mornings with Maria” Monday.
“We are going to have to worry about attacks on our military bases, on our shopping centers, on our reservoirs,” he continued. “Just across the board, we are going to be fighting a war in Asia, on American soil. And that’ll be the first time since 1812 that we will have to do so.”
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced Friday that migrant encounters soared past 200,000 in August, hitting a new high for the calendar year and marking the highest August on record.
Tennessee family faces deportation 15 years after fleeing Germany to homeschool kids: A ‘well-founded’ fear

“The goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society,” the Justice Department wrote in a legal brief at the time. “Teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany.”
Their stay was indefinite, however, until now.
“[Homeschooling] is illegal [in Germany],” Hannelore Romeike explained. If they are sent back, they will face the same persecution as before.
Initially, an immigration judge found the Romeike family’s asylum claim appropriate.
FDNY deaths from 9/11 illnesses now equal to number who died in attack

EMT Hilda Vannata and firefighter Robert Fulco marked the 342nd and 343rd deaths at the FDNY from illnesses stemming from the Sept. 11 attack at the World Trade Center, NewsNation local affiliate PIX11 reports.
Vannata, 67, died Sept. 20 after battling pancreatic cancer, according to her obituary, while Fulco, 73, died Sept.23 of pulmonary fibrosis. Both diseases were a result of time spent working in the rescue and recovery at the World Trade Center site, Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh said.
Fulco’s loved ones asked for contributions to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation instead of flowers.
Thousands of other firefighters are still struggling with cancer and other health issues, the FDNY said.
Of the 11,000 suffering from World Trade Center-related diseases, about 3,500 have cancer, Kavanagh wrote.

The worst damage was done to a shanty town a few kilometers from the capital, with corrugated iron buildings perched precariously in the river’s valley, next to the freshwater source and underneath a major highway bridge passing far overhead.

Russia Again Strikes Port of Odesa, Damaging Grain Infrastructure

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – A Russian drone and missile strike near Odesa damaged port infrastructure, a grain silo and an abandoned hotel and injured one person, as attacks on Ukraine killed four civilians and wounded 13 in the past day, Ukrainian officials said Monday.
Ukraine’s air force reported downing all Russian drones overnight, but one of 12 Kalibr missiles and two P-800 Oniks cruise missiles apparently made it past air defenses the day after the war in Ukraine entered its 20th month.
In the south, Russian forces dropped bombs and launched six heavy artillery strikes on Kherson, destroying a school and factory and damaging residential buildings.

Italy’s Meloni complains to Scholz over migrant NGO funds

“I have learned with astonishment that your administration — without coordinating with the Italian government — has allegedly decided to support with substantial funds non-governmental organizations engaged in the reception of irregular migrants on Italian territory and in rescues in the Mediterranean Sea,” Meloni wrote to Scholz.
The private letter was dated September 23, but Italy’s government appeared to make it public on Monday, with it appearing in various local media including newspaper La Stampa and news agency Reuters. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto had also taken aim at the policy in an interview with La Stampa published on Sunday.
A spokesman for Germany’s Foreign Ministry had announced the new policy on Friday, saying that two charities had already been approved for support.
One focuses on assistance on land, and the other — SOS Humanity — on rescuing people in small people smugglers’ boats at sea.
