Philadelphia livestream looter is arrested

Still filming herself and the night’s events on an Instagram live stream, she tried to talk her way out of it.

‘We didn’t have anything to do with this!’ she protested, clearly forgetting about the hours of footage she’d so keenly put together and brazenly shared.

Blackwell is just one of the 20-odd looters who were taken into custody last night following the shocking assault on the city.

Ill-planned and fruitless – the thieves ended up destroying the stolen Apple goods  they stole once they realized they were being tracked – police say it was an ‘opportunistic’ crime of epic proportions.

Blackwell was in the thick of it, sharing incriminating footage of her friends as they piled into the stores in their dozens to steal.

The looters tried vaguely to connect their crimes to the earlier Black Lives Matter demonstrations being held in the city.

J6 Prosecutor Charged In Road Rage Stabbing Incident

Patrick Douglas Scruggs, 38, of Tampa, was arrested and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on Tuesday.  [ Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office ]

On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times reported that a suspect detained over a bizarre local road rage incident is 38-year-old Patrick Douglas Scruggs.

The former federal prosecutor was charged after an episode during the morning rush hour wherein Scruggs pulled over and started stabbing a 35-year-old man with a pocket knife.

The commotion apparently began when a couple pulled over to check on a man slumped over the steering wheel on the side of the road.

When the couple returned to their vehicle to grab something that could break the car window, the slumped-over man turned on the car and rammed the vehicle of the couple trying to help.

When the man put the car in reverse, the vehicle hit Scruggs’ vehicle.

That’s when Scruggs reportedly got out of the car and began to stab the driver.

‘I Would’ve Gotten Fired’: Lawmakers Grill Defense Officials On Decrepit Military Barracks

House lawmakers grilled officials on the state of military housing Wednesday after a damning watchdog report found that single service members are living with mold, contaminated water, no air conditioning and other major safety hazards on military housing facilities.

Some barracks that house unaccompanied service members are not livable, and even facilities that score well on military housing condition scales demonstrate serious facilities problems, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) found in a report released earlier in September.

Following up on that report, lawmakers asked officials in charge of DOD facilities to explain how barracks had fallen into major disrepair and how to maintain standards in the future at a subcommittee hearing.

“The report from the GAO was appalling,” Republican Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon, who chairs the House Armed Services Committee’s Quality of Life panel, said at the hearing.

‘How Dare You’: Mother Of Slain Deputy Rips Soros DA For Not Seeking Death Penalty Against Son’s Alleged Killer

Officer Ryan Clinkunbroomer was shot while stopped in his patrol car at a red light outside the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station on Sept. 16, and two days later the suspect Kevin Salazar was arrested, according to ABC 7 News.

Clinkunbroomer’s mother, Kim Clinkunbroomer, bashed George Soros-funded Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón after learning during a press conference that he wouldn’t be seeking the death penalty for Clinkunbroomer’s alleged killer.

There have been 83 ambush attacks on law enforcement in Los Angeles in 2023, with 15 officers shot fatally, according to a report from the Fraternal Order of Police.

Gascon received $2 million in financial backing from George Soros and reportedly refused to prosecute nearly 12,000 cases during his first year in office.

The Los Angeles Association of Deputy District Attorneys, which represents prosecutors in Los Angeles County, voted in favor of Gascon’s recall.

The $1 billion in taxpayer dollars will be used for 385 grant proposals to “increase equitable access to trees and green spaces.” The grants are funded through the administration’s Inflation Reduction Act.

The USDA noted that all of the funds will go to “disadvantages [sic] communities” in “all 50 states, two U.S. territories, three U.S. affiliated Pacific islands, and in several tribal communities.”

The additional green spaces will cool city streets, improve air quality, and promote food security, health, and safety, the agency reported.

Rumble Launches #SupportFreeSpeech Campaign In Response To Media Pressure

Neutral video sharing platform Rumble is taking a stand against the recent government and media pressure it has faced by launching a #SupportFreeSpeech campaign via its membership platform Locals.

“It’s our creators who bring us the truth,” Rumble said in a statement announcing the campaign. “It’s our creators that make Rumble strong. It’s our creators who need your support.”

Rumble also addressed the recent government and media pressure it has faced for standing by its principle of neutrality:

After standing up for neutrality and due process, Rumble was hit with another wave of pressure from media outlets and some of the architects of an online censorship law. Several companies also pulled their ads from Rumble after it took a neutral stance on Brand.

But Rumble is staying true to its principles amid the pressure by launching this #SupportFreeSpeech campaign.

Shocking video shows girl, 3, shooting herself while relative watches football

The chilling footage posted by WPLG shows Serenity picking up the pistol at her home in Miami Dade on Saturday after Orlando Young, 23, jumped up during the game.

A bang is immediately heard in the footage and the toddler is hurt.

He “momentarily left his gun unattended on the couch because he was excited about a touchdown,” a police report said.

After hearing the shot, he saw blood coming from Serenity’s hand.

Hospital patient propped up to look ‘fake alive’ after dying during routine surgery: suit

The patient, an unidentified 65-year-old woman, was in “good health” when she walked into Adena Health System in Chillicothe for what should have been a routine heart catheterization, the Scioto Valley Guardian reported.

The woman’s family has claimed discrepancies between hospital records and the death certificate regarding her time of death.

While her medical records indicated a 1:00 p.m. time of death, the woman’s death certificate says 3:05 p.m. — which is the time her family was brought into the room and urged to take her off life support.

At least 31 people have come forward accusing Betz of faking his credentials, the outlet reported.

Rep. Wenstrup: Fauci Tried Influencing CIA COVID Probe

AP

The Ohio Republican on Tuesday said that the information that has been received “suggests that Dr. Fauci was escorted into Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Headquarters — without a record of entry — and participated in the analysis to ‘influence’ the Agency’s review,” reports the New York Post.

Wenstrup outlined the information in a letter he sent to Health and Human Services Inspector General Christi Grimm.

The letter did not contain a date that Fauci, the former White House COVID adviser and head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, allegedly paid the off-the-books visit.

He argued that the discovery “lends credence to heightened concerns about the promotion of a false COVID-19 origins narrative by multiple federal government agencies.”

‘Stop Everything and Find Them!’: More than 1K Ohio Children Reported Missing in 2023

Around 45 children disappeared from the Cleveland-Akron area in September, the New York Post reported Tuesday, adding that according to the state’s attorney general, 35 went missing in August.

Data on runaways, abductions, or sex trafficking cases were not always input correctly, and the state is grappling with a shortage of law enforcement officials, Yost also explained.

State leaders have partnered with the University of Toledo to create an updated statewide data collection reporting system to find solutions.

Social media users commented on the Post‘s story, one person writing, “A thousand? A THOUSAND!?!?! From one area? How the hell is this not the biggest story in the country?”

“Stop everything and find them!” another replied.

VIDEO: Jack in the Box Employee Allegedly Shoots at Customer over Curly Fries

The Houston Chronicle noted the incident occurred in March 2021 but that surveillance video has been “newly released.”

ABC 13 reported that customer Anthony Ramos and his family pulled up and ordered a “Classic Buttery Jack” combo meal.

An argument ensued with Jack in the Box employee Alonniea Fantasia Ford after being handed the meal and noticing it was allegedly missing the curly fries.

Ford then allegedly “throws ice and condiments” at Ramos, after which she appears to stick a gun out of the drive-thru window and fire two shots.

FBI refuses to release documents in probe into possible nationwide voter registration fraud

The FBI took over a 2020 probe into voter registration fraud that began in Michigan but has denied a Freedom of Information Act request regarding the investigation, citing an exemption in that law regarding ongoing investigations.

According to the dozens of pages of police reports from the Muskegon Police Department and Michigan State Police, a firm called GBI Strategies was under scrutiny as an organization central to alleged voter registration fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The matter was initially investigated by city and state authorities before the FBI took over.

Last week, the FBI denied a Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts request from Just the News regarding records from the investigation into GBI Strategies.

Oklahoma Opens Investigation Into Drag Queen Principal Previously Arrested On Child Porn Charges

Shantel Mandalay, Facebook. (By Kate Anderson, DCNF)

Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters announced Tuesday that he is investigating Western Heights Public Schools after it hired a drag queen, who had previously been charged with possession of child pornography, as a principal for one of its elementary schools.

John Glenn Elementary School hired Dr. Shane Brent Murnan ahead of the fall 2023 semester to be its principal, but the decision was quickly met with backlash after parents discovered that he openly performs as a drag queen and had been arrested on child pornography charges in 2001, which were later dismissed in 2002.

According to the announcement, Walters said that his investigation concerned the use of taxpayer funding to hire a drag queen as staff and would be reviewing Murnan’s teaching certificate as well.

Elon Musk backs Viktor Orbán on X over EU’s ‘failed’ migration pact

Elon Musk posted on his platform X, formerly, Twitter, in support of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán after Orbán posted a clip of his speech to the Hungarian National Assembly in which he describes soaring violence committed by migrants and the failure of the EU to fix the problem.

Orbán’s post stated that “migrant violence is on the rise. Three nights ago, a joint Hungarian-Serbian border patrol came under fire from automatic weapons.” He further wrote: “With this, migrants have crossed the Rubicon. It’s time to face the facts: the Brussels migration pact has failed.”

Musk responded to Orbán’s post, writing, “Absolutely, it is unequivocally clear.”

Sweden: Elderly denied milk in porridge after ‘money runs out’ while migrants get tens of millions for housing

Elderly residents at a dementia home in Sweden are being served porridge without milk for breakfast due to a lack of funds, despite the governing municipality only recently finding the cash to put up migrants in hotels, according to local reports.

The Samnytt news site revealed the demise of pensioners at the Kärråkra’s nursing home in Eslöv, which it claims is just the latest cutback in the quality of care provided to residents in recent years.

“The money has run out,” Sofia Persson, the manager of the facility, told the Skånska Dagbladet newspaper when asked about the substandard breakfast on offer to its elderly residents.

Bulgarian Parliament Approves Sending Antiaircraft Missiles To Ukraine

Bulgaria’s parliament approved on September 27 a decision to provide missiles for S-300 air-defense systems to Ukraine.

The missiles are defective and more than 30 years old, but Ukraine can use them for spare parts, Bulgarian parliamentary Defense Committee Chairman Hristo Gadjev said after the vote.

Russia reacted with a statement urging Bulgaria to reconsider the decision.

It said providing the missiles to Kyiv would violate an agreement for military cooperation between the Russia and Bulgaria that dates back to 2002.

Bulgaria has been providing military aid to Ukraine since December 2022 following a decision by parliament.

British home secretary enrages UN by telling Americans that ‘misguided dogma of multiculturalism’ has ‘failed’

Photo by Raid Necati Aslm/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images

British Home Secretary Suella Braverman issued a blistering speech in Washington Tuesday, denouncing the “failed” and “outdated” immigration policies that have compromised the stability, security, and sovereignty of Western nations.

The conservative politician drew a parallel between the crises at the U.S. southern border and in the Mediterranean, stressing in her American Enterprise Institute keynote address that “uncontrolled immigration, inadequate integration, and a misguided dogma of multiculturalism have proven a toxic combination” for the West.

The British government indicated that in the year ending June 2023, 52,530 illegal aliens stole into the U.K. — four nations with a collective population of roughly 67 million souls.

About 85% of these illegal migrants arrived by boat. The U.K. also received 74,751 asylum claims.

Under President Joe Biden, the United States — a nation with a population of over 335 million — saw over 232,000 illegal aliens steal into the nation just last month.

Saudi Arabia Sentences Teenager To 18 Years in Prison For Tweets

The recent severe sentence of an underage Saudi Arabian schoolgirl by the kingdom’s legal system has drawn global attention and raised significant concerns among human rights advocacy groups.

The Saudi Specialised Criminal Court sentenced 18-year-old Manal al-Gafiri to 18 years imprisonment for her social media posts advocating for political prisoners.

Al-Gafiri, a secondary school student, was 17 when authorities arrested her. ALQST, a human rights organization that monitors and documents abuses in Saudi Arabia, exposed her situation to the public.

This startling case epitomizes the continuing suppression of free speech in Saudi Arabia, especially digital activism on platforms like Twitter.

Under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s quasi-rule, rigid cyber activism sentences have been amplified.

The government’s efforts to staunch criticism through strict punishments have created a chilling effect, hindering the society from expressing their views and curtailing human rights.

15-Year-Old London Schoolgirl Stabbed to Death After ‘Turning Down Flowers’ From Boy

Getty Images

UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph cites sources to report the victim was a 15-year-old pupil of one of Britain’s top fee-paying private schools, The Old Palace of John Whitgift, and that an eyewitness had seen an argument erupt on a morning bus after the victim rejected a gift of flowers from a boy from another school.

This row continued off the bus and ended in the stabbing.

A night-shift worker returning home on a bus cited by the paper said he had witnessed the stabbing, describing the victim — a girl wearing a green school blazer — not wanting a male wearing a black school blazer to come any closer to her.

He then stabbed her in the neck. The witness said he and others tried to catch the alleged knifeman and others rushed to help the victim.

Biden Bombshell: President’s brother told FBI family tried to help Chinese firm buy US energy assets

James Biden told the FBI in an interview last year about efforts by him and Hunter Biden to help the CEFC energy firm in China buy a liquid natural gas facility on Monkey Island off the coast of Louisiana, and that he personally met once with the company’s chairman, Ye Jianming, according to the FBI interview report released by the committee.

“James B noted (Hunter) portrayed CEFC to him as Chairman Ye was a protégé of President Xi,” FBI agents wrote in the report.

The bombshell revelation further contradicts President Biden’s claim dating to the 2020 election that his family made no money from China. It was released as part of a cache of documents turned over to the committee by FBI whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler.

Documents previously released by federal prosecutors as part of Hunter Biden’s now-rejected plea deal show Hunter. Biden was paid millions from China, including from the CEFC deal.

But James Biden’s FBI interview filled in crucial details about what the first family knew about CEFC, its leader and what it assisted with in return for payments from China.

Rep. Zinke to Newsmax: Ukraine Funded in Shutdown, but Not Us

Showing just how broken Washington, D.C., and Congress are, Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., lamented on Newsmax how a government shutdown stops pay for American troops, but not Ukrainians.

“I think we’re going to remove the Ukraine funding out of it as we should, but here’s the irony of it: As a government shutdown, our troops don’t get paid, but Ukrainian troops do; how ironic is that?” Zinke, a former Navy SEAL and Secretary of the Interior during the Trump administration, said on Wednesday’s “Wake Up America.”

The House GOP must pass the most important appropriation bills first, starting with those at the heart of U.S. national security, according to Zinke.
