Horrifying moment suspect hits his own MOTHER with his car

The suspect, named as JaJuan Burley, 38, allegedly accelerated into his mom Juanita Gray, 57, before he became embroiled in a terrifying shootout with police on Friday morning in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Burley was struck by one of the shots, and an officer was grazed by another, with both reportedly suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The chaos erupted shortly before 10am Friday, when the Fort Wayne Police Department said they began pursuing a motorist after they refused to pull over.
The suspect then led cops on a high-speed chase to his mother’s house, where police said she and her son exchanged something before he took off again, reports 21ALiveNews.
When she tried to go back inside, her son accelerated his vehicle into her, sending her several feet into the air while shocked onlookers could be heard exclaiming. The footage concludes as several gunshots ring out.
Supreme Court to take up guns — possibly abortion, diversity — in 2023 term

The justices’ 2021 decision reaffirming Second Amendment rights has sparked a new series of challenges to gun control laws, with the federal list of prohibited purchasers of firearms coming under particular scrutiny.
The court already has docketed an appeal of a lower court ruling that struck down the part of the law barring weapons in the hands of those facing a domestic violence restraining order.
That case is slated for arguments on Nov. 7.
Before then, the justices will hear another major case challenging a state’s legislative districts as a racial gerrymander and a case that could whittle away at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the agency Democrats created in 2010 to be a pro-consumer cop on Wall Street.
The justices also will at some point hear a case challenging a rule making fishermen pay as much as $700 a day to the government to place monitors on their boats to ensure they aren’t overfishing.
Though the case may sound arcane, the stakes are huge, with legal analysts saying it could roll back four decades of case law known as Chevron deference that says courts should generally accede to legal interpretations of the law when made by Executive Branch agencies.
Conservatives are eyeing a major ruling tipping the balance away from the presidency and back toward Congress, which writes the laws.
Merrick Garland Shoots Himself in the Foot With Sloppy Ray Epps Plea Deal: It’s Worse Than You Think

As demonstrated extensively in a recent Revolver piece, this recent move only makes the regime look clumsy and utterly desperate to salvage the crumbling narrative regarding Epps and January 6th.
The great January 6 journalist Julie Kelly has additionally speculated that the timing of the misdemeanor charge suggests that it could have been specifically intended to allow Epps (and potentially the feds) to avoid the potential disaster of having Epps testify as a witness in the case of another January 6th defendant with whom he interacted.
This is precisely what happened in the case of Steve Robeson, one of the many informants who participated in the disgraced Michigan “Fednapping” entrapment plot, who was conveniently slapped with a bogus gun charge just in time to prevent him from testifying in the trials of the other alleged “plotters.”
‘Completely un-American’: GOP voter outrage over two-tiered justice system bolsters Trump in Iowa

DUBUQUE, Iowa – As former President Donald Trump’s indictments pile up, so do his poll numbers and that’s because of people like Randy Toenjes.
The 68-year-old corn and soybean farmer said he had intended to keep an open mind in the GOP presidential primary, but he ditched that plan in favor of support for Mr. Trump as he saw prosecutors in New York, Georgia and the Justice Department bring charges against the former president.
“We’re totally disgusted with the way the legal system has treated him,” Mr. Toenjes told The Washington Times before a Trump campaign stop in nearby Maquoketa. “We’re just really disgusted. Good people get punished and bad people get let go.”
Hunter Biden’s lawyer Abbe Lowell accused in ‘brazen coverup plot’

Attorney Abbe Lowell is accused in court documents filed last Friday of secretly working for Middle East nation Qatar in a scheme to conceal communications about an alleged computer hacking plot.
It is another example of Lowell getting embroiled in allegations of shady dealings with foreign nations – after emails published by DailyMail.com earlier this year showed the Justice Department scrutinized his links with suspected Chinese spies.
The top lawyer helped fight Bill Clinton‘s impeachment in 1998 and represented Donald Trump‘s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
He is currently defending Hunter from federal prosecution for tax and gun crimes, as well as other potential federal charges over the First Son’s deals with China, Ukrainian oligarchs, Qatar, and other foreign nations or businesses.
But Lowell’s own alleged dealings with foreign nations are now coming under scrutiny in bombshell court documents.

Elon Musk calls for San Francisco lawmaker to be fired

Elon Musk has called for a San Francisco lawmaker to be fired after he suggested tourists could prevent soaring thefts sweeping the Dem-led city by not leaving their items in cars.
The former Tesla boss took aim at city supervisor Dean Preston over comments he made earlier this week.
Preston suggested that the spate of car thefts plaguing the city could be solved if tourists took more care with their possessions.
He likened the proposal to the massive ‘buckle up’ campaign of the 1980s which encouraged drivers to take responsibility for their own safety by using seatbelts.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: ‘We need as a City to pound in every way possible the message to visitors: do not leave anything in your car. Do this and we’ll dramatically reduce car break-ins.’
But tech tycoon Musk, 52, slammed his comments and called for him to be removed from his position.

Russia-Linked Ex-FBI Agent to Plead Guilty to Payment Plot

A former senior FBI agent is expected to plead guilty on Friday to charges he concealed $225,000 in cash payments from a former Albanian intelligence officer who became a source in an FBI investigation, court records show.
Charles McGonigal, who led the FBI’s counterintelligence division in New York before retiring in 2018, is scheduled to appear at a plea hearing in Washington federal court at 2 p.m. (1800 GMT).
He pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in federal court in Manhattan last month in a separate case related to his work for Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska while Deripaska was under U.S. sanctions.

Iran boasts ‘longest-range’ drone at parade on Iraq war anniversary

Iran on Friday paraded its military hardware on the anniversary of its 1980s war with Iraq, including “the longest-range drone in the world” along with ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
Iranian state media said the drone “was unveiled” in the parade and that the drones displayed were named “Mohajer,” “Shahed,” and “Arash.”
Last month, the Islamic Republic said it had built an advanced drone named “Mohajer-10” with an enhanced flight range and duration as well as a larger payload.
It has an operational range of 1,240 miles and can fly for up to 24 hours, state media reported then, adding that its payload could reach 661 pounds – double the capacity of the “Mohajer-6” drone.
Video: Ukrainian Crews Put Hundreds Of Captured Russian Tanks Into Action

Ukrainian units have become adept at using captured Russian tanks against Moscow’s invading forces.
By some estimates, Ukraine has made up for all the armor it has lost by capturing an estimated 500 enemy tanks.
A Ukrainian crew training on a Russian tank found near Chernihiv says the vehicle is still in prime shape.
Rights Group Says Iran’s Security Forces ‘Intentionally’ Shot Protesters In The Eyes

The Iran Human Rights group (IHRNGO) said the Islamic nation’s security forces “intentionally targeted” the eyes and faces of protesters during a violent crackdown on demonstrations last year sparkled by the death of a young woman in police custody for allegedly violating the country’s hijab law.
In an analysis published on September 22, the Norway-based rights group said it was able to verify 138 cases of eye injuries sustained during the months-long, nationwide protests in Iran last year. Many of the victims lost vision in one eye, some in both.
“IHRNGO’s analysis shows that the brutal crimes committed during the protests by the Islamic republic were planned, coordinated and calculated,” said Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, head of the rights group.
“The Islamic republic leader, Ali Khamenei, and all the perpetrators of such crimes must be held accountable.”
Migrant hotel takeover forces end to local family services: ‘This will have a devastating impact’

A Sussex sports coaching company has lost access to a Chichester hotel’s swimming pool amid concerns that it is being leased by the Home Office for asylum seeker housing.
Duncan Driver, the founder of DPD Coaching, told GB News that its last lessons at the hotel’s pool will take place over the weekend after being given notice on Monday about the contract termination.
He told this broadcaster: “During Covid we were stuffed, and we were just starting to rebuild but now this has happened. We’re trying to find somewhere, but it’s impossible to get through to the decision-makers. I’m just getting stuck at reception.
“We’re not a cowboy outfit, we provide a professional and reliable service. We’ve never missed a bill. This decision is going to have a devastating effect on the company, especially if we can’t find anywhere else.”
Driver is now “desperately” hunting for a replacement venue.
‘Woman is woman, man is man!’ Ann Widdecombe blasts removing the word mother from maternity guides

Ann Widdecombe has reacted to the General Medical Council’s decision to remove the word ‘mother’ from their staff maternity guidance documents.
The document, which is given to employees who become pregnant, has removed all female-specific terms and now refers to ‘surrogate parents’ instead of ‘surrogate mothers’.
Speaking to Dan Wootton on his GB News show Dan Wootton Tonight, the former Tory Minister hit out at the Council for their decision, and defended her stance on gender, often referred to as a ‘terf’.

Russia reveals impact of Ukrainian attack on Black Sea Fleet HQ

At least one military service member is reported missing following the attack on the Crimean city, while the Ukrainian operation involved multiple missiles, five of which were intercepted by Russian forces, the ministry added.
The statement acknowledged damage to the “historic building” which hosts the headquarters in central Sevastopol, but offered no further details about the incident.
Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev earlier said that the strike had caused no damage to civilian infrastructure and had not led to civilian casualties.
He reported that at least one fragment, presumably from an intercepted Ukrainian missile, had been discovered on a street near the fleet’s headquarters. Further inspection revealed that “not even windows were shattered” outside the military facility, Razvozhaev claimed.
China, Syria announce ‘partnership’ after Assad-Xi talks

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Syrian President Bashar Assad on Friday, and announced the establishment of a “strategic partnership,” according to a readout of the meeting by Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.
Xi said the partnership “will become an important milestone in the history of bilateral relations,” without providing any further details.
“Faced with an international situation full of instability and uncertainty, China is willing to continue to work together with Syria, firmly support each other, promote friendly cooperation, and jointly defend international fairness and justice,” he added.
Assad is on his first trip outside of the Middle East, other than Russia, since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, following his regime’s brutal crackdown on anti-government protesters.
Ukraine mounts missile strike on Russian Black Sea fleet HQ in Crimea

A Ukrainian missile attack has hit the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea fleet in occupied Crimea, the latest high-profile Ukrainian strike on the annexed peninsula.
Russia’s defence ministry said that one military serviceman was missing as a result of the assault, which hit the navy headquarters in the port city of Sevastopol.
The Mocow-appointed governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, urged people to stay away from the city centre where the navy building is located.
Footage posted on social media showed clouds of white smoke billowing from the rooftop of the Black Sea fleet headquarters. Russian sources reported that the strike was carried out using Storm Shadow missiles provided by the UK and launched from Ukrainian aircraft.
Netanyahu Touts ‘New Middle East,’ Hopes for Saudi Peace at UN

Citing the book of Deuteronomy, in which Moses offered a choice between a “blessing” and a “curse,” Netanyahu said that the Iranian regime had proved to be a “curse to their own people, to our region, to the entire world.”
At the same time, however, he noted that Iran had driven the Arab states toward an alliance with Israel, which had led to a flourishing of peace agreements, diplomacy, and trade in the years since the Abraham Accords of 2020.
He wanted to make peace with the Palestinians, Netanyahu said, but had long argued that the Palestinians should not have a veto over peace agreements with other Arab states.
The breakthrough, he said, came when the region finally abandoned the idea that an Israeli-Palestinian deal had to come first.
He urged the Palestinians to learn from other Arab states, and abandon “the fantasy of destroying Israel, and finally embrace a path of genuine peace.”
Netanyahu spoke a day after Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas railed against Israel at the same podium, blaming the U.S. and the U.K. for Israel’s existence, and denying Jews the right to pray at the Western Wall.

Germany: Students arm themselves in city of Halle as violent robberies soar, parents describe ‘broken police force’

Organized gangs, many of them made up of foreigners, have targeted children in Halle’s schools for years, with the police recording hundreds of such cases. However, there is now a citizens’ initiative in the German city that has begun patrolling the area, and students are arming themselves for self-defense purposes as they lose faith in the police to protect the young victims.
The city, located in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, has seen highly troubling statistics emerge regarding the robbery of students, with Die Welt reporting that in just a matter of two years, there have been 203 such robbery offenses with 274 suspects.
The police noted that 40 percent of suspects have a migration background, and the proportion of those robberies committed by intensive offenders features a “significantly higher” share of foreigners, according to police, although no exact figures were given.
Although the police have promised to be more present at schools, as parents raised concerns about their children being assaulted or being constantly on watch for gangs, the attacks have continued virtually uninterrupted.
Parents describe a situation bordering on extreme desperation, with one woman telling Die Welt outside the school that her 13-year-old son had already been robbed three times. Another mother told the paper that her son was blackmailed for money.
Both mothers have now joined the “Safe Schools in Halle” initiative, which was formed earlier this month.

Two House Republicans considering siding with Democrats to fund the government

Two freshman House Republicans say their willing to end-run their party’s leadership and working with Democrats to fund the government – as their conference is locked in an internal stalemate threatening to shut down the government.
Reps. Marc Molinaro and Mike Lawler, who both represent New York’s Hudson Valley-area districts that voted for President Joe Biden in 2020, said they’re willing to consider using a “discharge petition” to force votes on a short-term funding bill.
The rarely used legislative maneuver allows lawmakers to force a vote on legislation even if the House speaker doesn’t want to bring it up for a vote.
However, the measure requires signatures from a majority of the chamber and must sit in a committee for at least 30 legislative days – which means it cannot prevent a shutdown at the end of September.
The lawmakers voiced their options after the House on Thursday failed to advance a Pentagon spending bill as a step toward keeping the government open past Sept. 30.

Dallas mayor leaves Democratic Party, switches to GOP: ‘American cities need Republicans’

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed with the headline “America’s Cities Need Republicans, and I’m Becoming One,” Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson explains that he is leaving the Democratic Party because “the future of America’s great urban centers depends on the willingness of the nation’s mayors to champion law and order and practice fiscal conservatism.”
“Our cities desperately need the genuine commitment to these principles (as opposed to the inconsistent, poll-driven commitment of many Democrats) that has long been a defining characteristic of the GOP,” Johnson wrote.
“In other words, American cities need Republicans — and Republicans need American cities,” he continued. “When my political hero Theodore Roosevelt was born, only 20% of Americans lived in urban areas.
By the time he was elected president, that share had doubled to 40%. Today, it stands at 80%. As America’s cities go, so goes America.”
Nikki Haley Criticizes Trump: He’s ‘Weak in the Knees When It Comes to Ukraine’

“He was the right president at the right time,” she said when asked, essentially, what Trump’s legacy will be 100 years from now.
She critiqued Trump not only on fiscal policy but also on his position on Ukraine, asserting that, “He used to be good on foreign policy and now he has started to walk it back and get weak in the knees when it comes to Ukraine.”
Haley is among those who believes it is in the United States’ best interests to provide aid to Ukraine in its defense against Russia. She also believes a Russian victory would only strengthen the country’s relationship with China, deeming Ukraine a “pro-American country that was invaded by a thug.”
Earlier this year, Trump expressed confidence that he could end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.
“I will end that war in one day. It will take 24 hours,” he told Nigel Farage. “I know Zelensky well. I know Putin well. I would get that ended in a period of one day.”

On September 19, 2023, Breitbart News noted that Biden would be announcing the creation of the new office on Friday.
Information from the Washington Post indicated the office will operate as a coordinated effort between the “White House, the Community Justice Action Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety.”
Shannon Watts, a Mike Bloomberg affiliate who founded Moms Demand Action, praised the creation of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, saying, “If this announcement is, in fact, the creation of a single point of leadership on gun violence in the administration, it’s a very big deal for the movement.”
New York changes state election laws, including vote-by-mail measure voters rejected two years ago

New York has enacted election laws that will substantially change the state’s elections and possibly their outcomes. One of the laws has resulted in a lawsuit by the GOP after New York voters rejected the measure as a constitutional amendment.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) on Wednesday signed a package of election laws that include expanding absentee voting, pushing more voter registration, and restricting election challenges.
The package included 10 laws, with the most controversial being the “New York Early Mail Voter Act,” which would allow early voting by mail, also known as no-excuse absentee voting.
In 2021, New York voters rejected a statewide referendum that would have amended the state constitution to enshrine expanded absentee ballot access.

Biden handed major legal defeat in attempt to restrict oil, gas drilling in Gulf of Mexico

Judge James Cain of the Western District of Louisiana granted a preliminary injunction request from plaintiffs — the State of Louisiana, industry association American Petroleum Institute (API) and oil companies Chevron and Shell — to block the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) restrictions on Lease Sale 261.
The lease sale spanning millions of acres across the Gulf of Mexico is slated for next week.
Cain ruled the federal government must proceed with the lease sale by Sept. 30 under its original conditions.
As a result of a July settlement with environmental groups, BOEM removed about six million acres from the sale and imposed various restrictions on oil and gas vessels associated with the leases auctioned to protect the Rice’s whale species found in parts of the Gulf of Mexico.
Cain also said the Biden administration’s actions appeared to be an attempt to “provide scientific justification to a political reassessment of offshore drilling.” And he said the administration’s process looked “more like a weaponization of the Endangered Species Act than the collaborative, reasoned approach prescribed by the applicable laws and regulations.”
In a statement following the ruling Thursday, API Senior Vice President and General Counsel Ryan Meyers said it was a positive step in ensuring energy security.

Watch: Democrats Champion Migrants, Dismiss Americans

Both Democrats spoke at a September 20 hearing where Rep. Mark Green (R-Tn) and other GOP legislators spotlighted the huge and growing cost to taxpayers’ of President Joe Biden’s pro-migrant policies.
But some Republicans are focussing attention on the vast pocketbook cost of migration to ordinary Americans.
The federal migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans. The flood of labor also shrinks productivity-boosting investment in American workplaces and reduces beneficial trade with poor countries.
