A California couple faces murder charges in the fentanyl poisoning death of their infant daughter, whose body was found long dead on a bed and covered by a rug in their drug-littered home.
A blood toxicology report showed she had a fentanyl blood concentration of 74 ng/ml — the medical examiner reported that 3 ng/ml of fentanyl blood concentration is lethal.
The couple and the victim had gone to bed at about 2 a.m. At about 1 p.m., Kelly Richardson said she woke up to see Derek Rayo on the victim’s legs. She woke him up and told him to get off the victim, the document said.

The stabbing occurred after Portillo Aguilar had previously been arrested in Loudoun County but was never taken into custody by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and deported from the U.S.
In 2021, for instance, Portillo Aguilar was arrested along with other MS-13 gang members for allegedly trying to attack a man with bats and knives because the man was trying to leave the gang.
Video shows train in Mexico filled with migrants riding on top as it heads to US southern border
A train seen in Mexico headed toward the U.S. border had what appeared to be hundreds of migrants riding on top as record numbers of people trying to enter the United States continues.
The migrants were riding atop a BNSF Railway train in central Mexico as it departed from it departs Irapuato, Guanajuato, around 200 miles northwest of Mexico City.
The train route goes from there to Torreon, Monterey and then Piedras Negras, a border city across from Eagle Pass, Texas.
