Huge group of well-dressed CHINESE migrants with smart luggage wait to be processed after illegally crossing border from Mexico into California

While previously many of the migrants causing the US border crisis had come from central and South America, now thousands have come from China.

Over the 2023 fiscal year, which ended in September, US Customs and Border Protection reported 24,048 Chinese citizens were apprehended at the Mexico border, more than in the ten preceding years combined.

That’s up more than 10 times from the 1,970 arrests recorded during the 2022 fiscal year, and just 323 the year before, when China was under strict pandemic travel bans and lockdowns.

NYC comptroller strips Mayor Adams’ emergency migrant spending power, citing ‘extensive’ reporting failures

Since May, approximately $500 million has been used to provide various migrant services, including housing, food, and laundry, to asylum-seekers, city contract records reviewed by the Post revealed.

According to Lander’s office, New York City spent $1.7 billion in emergency contracts to address the migrant crisis from January 2022 to September 2023.

Following a review, the office concluded that a $432 million emergency contract “uncovered concerning information & lack of experience in providing shelter & support services.” The comptroller ultimately rejected the contract following several issues with the company.

New syndrome in newborns exposed to fentanyl possibly found

At least 10 babies — possibly more than 12 — have been identified with what doctors believe to be a new syndrome related to exposure to fentanyl in the womb.

No common genetic cause has been uncovered — all were born to mothers who said they’d used street drugs, particularly fentanyl, while they were pregnant.

In addition to cleft palate, the 10 infants have unusually small bodies and heads. They tend to have drooping eyelids. Their noses tend to turn upward, and their lower jaws are often undersized. Their feet may point down and inward, and two of their middle toes are webbed.

Baby boys may have genital irregularities. Some have trouble feeding, and their thumbs may not be fully formed.

Arlington home explodes after suspect sets off flares as police serve search warrant

While police have not released the name of the suspect, local outlet ARLNow has reported that public records show the resident of the now-leveled home to be a man named James Yoo.

According to Newsweek, Yoo’s social media posts were reportedly filled with rants about the government, the police, and his own neighbors, who he repeatedly labeled “spies,” suggesting they had fake identities and were assigned to monitor him for their “handlers.”

His YouTube channel included videos with pictures from his LinkedIn page depicting people he claimed were his neighbors entering and leaving their homes, according to the outlet.

Hong Kong pro-democracy activist flees to Canada—CCP officials say they will pursue her for life

As Reuters reports, in 2020 Chow was sentenced to 10 months in prison for her role in organizing pro-democracy protests the year before, but was released after serving seven months in June 2021.

Due to allegations she had colluded with foreign forces and thus violated the CCP-imposed national security law, she was closely monitored and had her passport confiscated.

Canada previously had an extradition agreement with Hong Kong, but that was suspended in the wake of the CCP-controlled government’s crackdown on citizens in 2020.

Israel intensifies war on Hamas; UAE remains committed to Abraham Accords – TV7 Israel News 05.12.23

1) Israel doubles-down on its military activities throughout the Gaza Strip.

2) Qatar persists with its campaign of disinformation – while, in tandem, it blames the West for the extended war in the Gaza Strip.

3) Despite repeated attacks by the Yemeni Iranian-proxy AnsarAllah – the Biden Administration remains unconvinced about whether it should redesignate the Houthi-dominated group as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Israel investigating allegations that traders profited off foreknowledge of October 7 Hamas attacks

“Days before the attack, traders appeared to anticipate the events to come: on October 2, short interest in the MSCI Israel Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) suddenly, and significantly, spiked,” said the report. “And just before the attack, short selling of Israeli securities on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange increased dramatically.”

“For one Israeli company alone, 4.43 million new shares sold short over the September 14 to October 5 period yielded profits (or approximates avoided losses) of 3.2 billion NIS [$862 million] on that additional short selling,” said the report.

Jackson and Mitts observed suspicious patterns going back to at least April, when Hamas was reportedly beginning to plan its attacks.

The duo determined that “traders informed about the coming attacks profited from these tragic events” by short selling on the U.S. and Israeli stock exchanges.

UN Cybercrime Treaty has morphed into an expansive surveillance treaty

A new draft of the controversial United Nations Cybercrime Treaty has only heightened concerns that the Treaty will criminalise expression and dissent, create extensive surveillance powers and facilitate cross-border repression.

The Cybercrime Treaty that is currently being negotiated by the United Nations has the potential to substantively reshape international criminal law and bolster cross-border police surveillance powers to access and share users’ data, implicating the human rights of billions of people worldwide.

Without a clearly defined scope and sufficient safeguards, the Treaty could endanger human rights – both online and offline – and repressive governments could abuse its provisions to criminalise online free speech. It could also threaten digital rights by legitimising intrusive investigations and unhindered law enforcement access to personal information.

Hamas terrorists had ‘a thing with sexual organs’ and targeted genitalia of Israeli victims: UN testimony

Some of the fiends’ unspeakable acts involved a murdered woman found with “nails and different objects in her female organs” and a gang-rape victim who had one of her breasts cut off — with her attackers then playing with it in the road, Israel said.

There were “horrific things I saw with my own eyes and I felt with my own hands,” said stricken Simcha Greinman, a volunteer who helped collect the remains of the slaughtered victims, according to the New York Times.

The Jewish state accused the UN during the special session of moving too slowly to address reports that the terror group unleashed sexual violence as a weapon of war in its attack, NBC News reported.

MTG slams Speaker Johnson, GOP leaders on spending and J6: ‘Honeymoon period has worn off’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., slammed House Speaker Mike Johnson and GOP leadership in an interview Tuesday with Just the News, declaring she was fed up with “all the talk and no action” when it comes to cutting spending, shrinking government or getting the truth about the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

“We have a new speaker, Mike Johnson, and the honeymoon period has worn off,” Greene said  on the John Solomon Reports podcast, saying she was fearful the new speaker might resort to funding government for a whole year through another temporary spending bill known as a Continuing Resolution or CR.

Greene repeatedly lambasted her GOP colleagues in the House and Senate, suggesting Americans are growing frustrated between the gap in what they’ve promised versus what they have delivered. She noted the House had passed only seven of the 12 spending bills and the new 2024 fiscal year has started, and the Senate had passed none.

Speaker Johnson: Biden impeachment inquiry vote expected next week in House

The House has no choice if it’s going to follow its constitutional responsibility to formally adopt an impeachment inquiry on the floor so that when the subpoenas are challenged in court, it will be at the apex of our constitutional authority,” Johnson said Tuesday at press conference.

“This vote is not a vote to impeach President Biden. This is a vote to continue the inquiry of impeachment, and that’s a necessary constitutional step,” Johnson said.

Gold bars found in Bob Menendez home previously belonged to New Jersey businessman accused of bribing him: FBI

A new report has revealed that at least four of the gold bars that were found in Senator Bob Menendez’s home by FBI agents in September are linked to the 2013 robbery of a New Jersey businessman who has now been accused of bribing Menendez.

“Each gold bar has its own serial number,” Daibes told investigators in a 2013 transcript from prosecutors and police who recovered the stolen items. “They’re all stamped…you’ll never see two stamped the same way.”

10 years later, four gold bars were found in the Clifton, NJ home of Menendez and his wife, Nadine, with the serial numbers appearing to match those that were once stolen from Daibes.

Report: FBI ‘abused its counterterrorism tools’ to target Catholic Americans; would continue doing so but for whistleblower

The new report from the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government indicates the FBI:

  • “abused its counterterrorism tools to target Catholic Americans as potential domestic terrorists”;
  • “relied on at least one undercover agent to develop its assessment”;
  • “proposed developing sources among the Catholic clergy and church leadership”; and
  • would likely still be “violating the religious liberties of millions of Catholic Americans” were it not for former FBI special agent Kyle Seraphin’s disclosure.

Homosexual “Conservative” Purchases Child

What it means to be a conservative is becoming neutered over time. Too many are far from defenders of traditional values. In the latest example of this, a homosexual who is frequently acclaimed as a conservative used a surrogate to buy a child with his faux husband.
