(AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais, File)

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown has reinstated to the state Hate Crimes Commission a Muslim leader who had been suspended over her social media posts in support of Palestinians that had been deemed antisemitic.

Ms. Chaudry also posted graphics and memes comparing Israel to Nazi Germany and saying the Israel-Hamas conflict “started in 1948” when the Jewish state was established. Those posts received media coverage in the U.S. and Britain before Mr. Brown announced her suspension on Nov. 21.

The national CAIR office led a petition drive that garnered more than 5,500 signatures calling for her reinstatement.

Physician groups fight gender-affirming care mandate at Sixth Circuit

Attorneys for two groups of doctors urged the Sixth Circuit Wednesday to follow rulings from other appeals courts and grant a preliminary injunction to prevent enforcement of the Affordable Care Act’s gender-identity mandate.

The American College of Pediatricians and the Catholic Medical Association claim U.S. District Judge Travis McDonough, an Obama appointee, imposed additional standing requirements on their First Amendment claims when he dismissed their lawsuit in November 2022.

The provider groups filed suit after President Joe Biden signed an executive order upon taking office that established gender identity as a protected trait, an order that required doctors to perform gender-affirming care even if it went against their religious beliefs or medical judgment.

Our border patrol is now used as the welcoming committee for illegal immigrants.

While at the processing center, border agents are asked where the illegal immigrants are headed.

Sheriff Johnson said once they state where they are traveling, they are connected with an ICE agent, provided and ID and set up with welfare, entitlements and benefits, provided a cell phone, and sent to their destination by bus or plane.

While there are families and couples coming to the U.S. for a better way of life, the sheriffs all noted that there are mostly military aged men traveling to the U.S. border.

Incredibly, the interception took place well out of Earth’s atmosphere above the 100km (62 mile) Karman Line, which denotes the boundary of outer space.

As a report in the British newspaper of record’s Times on the interception notes, the taking down of the Iranian-made missile was the first time a battle was known to have been fought in space.

Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images

“The UN doesn’t deserve a single DIME of American taxpayer money,” a tweet from the “Rep. Chip Roy Press Office” X account reads. “That’s why Rep. Roy is looking forward to introducing House legislation alongside @RepMikeRogersAL and @SenMikeLee that would DEFUND it.”

While the prospect of pulling funding from the U.N. will certainly appeal to conservatives, such legislation will likely be dead on arrival since it will likely not have enough support to move through Congress.

In addition to expressing support for cutting off U.N. funding, Lee has also suggested, “While we’re at it, let’s expel them too.”
