‘Longtime Collaborator’ Of Wuhan Lab Is Now Reconstructing Viruses With 60% Mortality Rate, Using Same Tactics That Likely Spawned COVID-19 Pandemic.

Dr. Baric has been described by the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s top bat coronavirus researcher, whom experts allege played a critical role in the lab birthing COVID-19, Shi Zhengli as a “longtime collaborator.” Senator Rand Paul also confronted Anthony Fauci with Dr. Baric’s work during a heated exchange about whether or not his agency, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), had funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“For years, Dr. Ralph Baric, a virologist in the U.S., has been collaborating with Dr. Shi Zhengli of the Wuhan Virology Institute, sharing his discoveries about how to create super viruses. This gain-of-function research has been funded by the NIH.”

Despite this controversy, the NIAID is continuing to fund Dr. Baric’s research, most recently for the study, “Host range, transmissibility and antigenicity of a pangolin coronavirus.”

EXCLUSIVE: 121K Migrants Apprehended in 15 Days Along Southwest Border — 11K more Got Away

Photos: Breitbart Texas and U.S. Border Patrol

Unofficial Border Patrol apprehension reports indicate agents encountered approximately 121,000 migrants along the southwest border during the first 15 days of the month. This brings the Fiscal Year 24 total to approximately 504,000 migrants.

In addition to the 121,000 migrant apprehensions, agents reported an additional 11,000 migrants were documented as got-aways. This number is an estimate of the number of migrants who were observed or detected crossing the border but who could not be apprehended.

This number could be artificially low this month as agents in the Tucson and Del Rio Sectors have largely been pulled from line operations to transporting, processing, and caring for apprehended migrants.

With no signs of slowing, the latest migrant surge into Texas’ busiest border sector forced the agency to suspend operations at highway checkpoints.

Nearly all Border Patrol agents in the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector have been redirected from border enforcement duties to focus on processing, transporting, and providing humanitarian care for more than 7,000 migrants in custody at local facilities and at a temporary outdoor staging site near Eagle Pass, according to a source within CBP.

(U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Ryan C. Matson)

The grim news follows the discovery of the body of 34-year-old Staff Sgt. Allen Burtram, a drill sergeant with 2nd Battalion 13th Infantry Regiment, who was also found dead on base on Dec. 8. A cause of death has not been released by the Army for either fatality.

The two deaths are unrelated and there is no apparent evidence of foul play, Tom Byrd, a spokesperson for the installation, told Military.com. Military chaplains and behavioral health personnel are being provided to support members of the units.

Drill sergeant is broadly considered one of the most grueling assignments in the Army, with those noncommissioned officers working long hours, frequently away from their families for extended periods, and sleep deprived. At the same time, those assignments are typically seen as prestigious in the force and can open up career opportunities

CCP-tied group is quietly fueling US-based climate initiatives: tax filings

(Getty Images)

While the Energy Foundation’s financial filings indicate that the group is technically headquartered in San Francisco, a Fox News Digital review determined that the majority of its operations are conducted in China with a staff that boasts extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Its recently filed tax form show the group, which refers to itself as “Energy Foundation China,” contributed $3.8 million to initiatives in the U.S. like phasing out coal and electrifying the transportation sector.

The Energy Foundation sent another $480,000 to the Washington, D.C.-based International Council on Clean Transportation, which advocates for widespread EV adoption and policies decarbonizing the transportation sector broadly. It also wired grants — one to the University of Maryland and another to the Jackson Hole Center for Global Affairs — worth a total of $450,000 and earmarked for projects to phase out coal power reliance.

World of Trouble: Conscription on the Table as European Militaries Dwindle

The British Army is now the smallest it has been in 200 years, as more defence personnel continue to leave than join, while in Germany the military recruitment crisis is so acute the defence minister speaks of bringing back conscription.

Recruitment is a long-term issue for the British military, with deteriorating pay and conditions, and even quality of life issues like a sustained loss of traditions in recent decades running down the factors that help bring in new troops and retain them.

But the United Kingdom is not unique in these challenges in Europe, and Germany continues to struggle with armed forces that lack in both manpower and capability.

Russia and Ukraine Launch Numerous Drone Attacks Targeting a Russian Air Base and Black Sea Coast

At least 35 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over three regions in southwestern Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a post on the messaging app Telegram.

A Russian air base hosting bomber aircraft used in the war in Ukraine was among the targets, according to a Russian Telegram channel critical of the Kremlin.

Stepped-up drone attacks over the past month come as both sides are keen to show they aren’t deadlocked as the war approaches the two-year mark. Neither side has gained much ground despite a Ukrainian counteroffensive that began in June.

Ukrainian drone video provides a grim look at casualties as Russian troops advance toward Avdiivka

In this screen grab from a video taken on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023 by the BUAR done unit of the 110th Mechanized Brigade, bodies of presumably Russian soldiers lie scattered along tree line in Stepove village, near Avdiivka, Ukraine. (Ukrainian 110th mechanized brigade via AP)

It’s an apocalyptic scene: In two separate clips, the bodies of about 150 soldiers — most wearing Russian uniforms — lie scattered along tree lines where they sought cover.

The village itself has been reduced to rubble. Rows of trees that used to separate farm fields are burned and disfigured.

The fields are pocked by artillery shells and grenades dropped from drones. The drone unit said it’s possible that some of the dead were Ukrainians.

North Korea test-fires intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting US: report

(Korean Central News Agency/Korea News Service via AP)

The projectile, which has the capability of traveling more than 9,300 miles and reaching the mainland U.S., flew 73 minutes before landing in an area west of the Japanese island of Hokkaido, Reuters reported, citing Japan’s Defense Ministry and Parliamentary Vice Minister of Defense Shingo Miyake.

South Korea’s military said the North Korean missile was launched on an elevated angle in an apparent attempt to avoid neighboring countries. Japanese lawmaker Masahisa Sato, citing Japan’s Defense Ministry, also said the missile rose as high as 3,730 miles.

The launch comes after North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile into the sea on Sunday, South Korea said, with Pyongyang blaming the U.S. for escalating military tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

Media Lie About This Leftist-Linked Voter Roll ‘Maintenance’ Group To Protect Democrats’ Election Machine

IMAGE CREDITPHIL ROEDER/WIKIMEDIA COMMONS/CC BY 2.0

Otherwise known as ERIC, this organization is a widely used voter-roll “management” system founded by Democrat activist David Becker that was “sold to states as a quick and easy way to update their voter rolls.”

In reality, ERIC’s membership agreement places a higher priority on registering new voters than on cleaning up existing voter rolls.

The program inflates voter rolls by requiring member states to contact “eligible but unregistered” residents to encourage them to register to vote.

When a state becomes an ERIC member, it is required to submit “all active and inactive voter files,” “all licensing or identification records contained in the motor vehicles database,” and any state files related to “voter registration functions” to the organization, which then compares this information with that submitted by other member states.

Meet Lawyer Michael Dreeben, The Man Behind Three Major Anti-Trump Operations

DUKE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW/YOUTUBE

“An interesting detail: Michael Dreeben somehow snuck into Jack Smith’s office. He was Mueller’s appellate guy,” enthused Marcy Wheeler, a proponent of the debunked conspiracy theory that Donald Trump stole the 2016 election by colluding with Russia.

Fellow Russia-collusion hoaxer Rachel Maddow of MSNBC ran an entire segment to announce the exciting news that Dreeben is “helming this part of the case,” meaning Smith’s request to the Supreme Court to look at whether American presidents may be prosecuted for actions taken while they are president.

Left-wing legal activist (and, yes, another bitter clinger Russia-collusion hoaxer) Joyce Vance said her “friend” Dreeben had “framed this petition” before the Supreme Court.

Jack Keane demands action against Iran: ‘This is shameful’

Fox News senior strategic analyst Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) provides analysis of the growing unrest in the Middle East after a cargo ship in the Red Sea was targeted by Houthi rebels.

We Are Well Beyond Hypocrisy

All of these are the precise arguments many of us cited when Donald Trump was impeached in December 2019 (as his reelection campaign began, and immediately after being cleared of the 22-month, $40-million-special-counsel Russian-collusion hoax).

The Democrats tried to remove an elected president over a phone call without a special counsel’s report. So Trump was impeached only after the 2018 election led to a Democratic House majority, which went from eating up nearly two years of his administration in the Russian-collusion hoax straight into the impeachment farce. There was no concern about the cost to the nation of putting an elected government into a continual state of siege.

There is one difference, though, between the Trump impeachment and the Biden impeachment inquiry.
