WWIII: Drums Beat Loudly In Middle East As US Evacuates Facilities, Iran Threatens

War drums beat loudly today in the Middle East as American pressure on Iran increases due to reported lack of progress in negotiations to prevent Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

England and the U.S. have put tanker vessels in the Persian Gulf on high alert.

Israeli journalist Amir Tsarfati said on his Telegram channel — ISRAEL IS DAYS BEFORE A STRIKE IN IRAN!

We reported yesterday that President Trump and Israeli PM Netanyahu spoke recently, and Trump said it was not yet time to strike Iran, as he thought a deal was possible. However, Trump and SecDef Hegseth are not making noise that a strike may be close, due to Iran’s refusal to negotiate in good faith.

Russia said it would store nuclear material for Iran.

The United States began evacuating non-essential personnel from embassies in Bahrain and Kuwait. The U.S. Navy in Bahrain is reportedly on high alert.

The U.S. Embassy Compound in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad is preparing for an ordered evacuation due to heightened tensions in the region, reported Reuters.

The Iranian Defense Minister threatened the Trump administration — “If we go to war with the US, Iran will strike every American base across the Middle East.”…

The top US military commander for the Middle East says he has presented US President Donald Trump with military plans to strike Iran and is prepared to do if so ordered.

“I have provided the secretary of defense and the president a wide range of options,” Central Command head Gen. Michael Kurilla says during testimony before the House Armed Services Committee.

Iran responded to the pressure:…

Evacuations In Ohio As Chemical Leak From Explosives Plant Spreads

Communities are under evacuation orders Wednesday after a large chemical leak from an explosives plant in southeast Ohio is sending hazardous air into nearby areas.

Jackson County emergency manager Robert Czechlewski said the explosion at Austin Powder Company’s Red Diamond facility happened about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials said the chemical wafting into the air is nitric oxide. Potential exposure can include irritated eyes, drowsiness and possible loss of consciousness. The leak on the ground at Red Diamond was nitric acid, but a reaction created a nitric oxide plume now seen over the region.

Winds have expanded the concerns to areas outside the immediate area of the leak.

The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office evacuated residents in the village of Zaleski, as well as areas along Creek Road, Morgan Road, Infirmary Road and State Route 677….

Army Unveils $13M Smart Rifle Scopes That Auto-Target And Destroy Enemy Drones

The US Army is giving its soldiers a high-tech edge in the fight against drones, and it’s called SMASH.

During a live-fire training exercise on June 6 in Germany, a soldier with the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment used the SMASH 2000L smart scope mounted on an M4A1 rifle to target drones in the sky.

The demo was part of Project Flytrap, a multinational training event.

The SMASH 2000L, made by Israeli company Smart Shooter Ltd., is no ordinary sight.

It uses cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence to track targets and decides the perfect time to fire, according to reporting from Army Recognition.

Once a drone is locked in, the system controls the trigger and only fires when a hit is guaranteed.

Trump Cannot Ignore the Latest Damning Evidence of Iran’s Pursuit of Nuclear Weapons

AI generated image.

Amid concerns that US President Donald J. Trump is backtracking on his pledge to confront Iran over its controversial nuclear programme, new evidence pointing to Iran’s clandestine attempts to develop nuclear weapons should persuade the Trump administration to make the Iran threat one of its top priorities.

The latest evidence that Tehran has spent the past few decades developing nuclear weapons has come in the form of a bombshell report published by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN-sponsored body responsible for monitoring Iran’s nuclear activities.

The IAEA has previously identified a number of glaring inconsistencies in Iran’s official declarations about its nuclear programme, which have resulted in the imposition of Western sanctions.

There has, for example, been a long-running dispute lasting nearly two decades between Iran and the West after IAEA inspectors found traces of undeclared enriched uranium at the top-secret Parchin military facility, located around 20 miles southeast of Tehran.

Concerns that Iran has been using the base to test nuclear warhead designs, as well as Tehran’s refusal to provide a convincing explanation for the discovery of the enriched material, prompted the imposition of further sanctions.

The Obama administration’s failure to address this issue fully, or rather to have backed down fully, when negotiating the flawed JCPOA “nuclear deal” with Tehran in 2015 prompted widespread criticism of the agreement, eventually leading to Trump’s decision to withdraw American involvement in 2018.

The ongoing dispute between the IAEA and Tehran over Iran’s clandestine nuclear activities has now deepened further, following publication of the organisation’s latest findings, which show that Iran carried out secret nuclear activities, with material not declared to the UN nuclear watchdog, at three locations….

In addition to naming the three new sites suspected of involvement in Iran’s nuclear programme, the report also found that Iran had an estimated 400kg of uranium enriched up to 60 per cent as of May 17, marking an increase of more than 133kg since the last report in February.

Uranium needs to be enriched to about 90 per cent to use in nuclear weapons. The amount of Iran’s enriched uranium is enough to produce 10 weapons if refined to that level…

Syrian brothers on trial in Germany over rape of one’s own wife, kidnapping, and smuggling

The older brother, aged 35, is facing charges of multiple rapes, unlawful imprisonment, and driving without a license. His 26-year-old brother is accused of aiding in the abduction of the woman and their children.

According to the prosecution, the 35-year-old raped his wife — whom he is married to under Syrian law — on multiple occasions, including in November 2022 and again in May 2024. In at least one instance, he is alleged to have tied her up in their shared apartment in Rendsburg.

As reported by the Welt newspaper, prosecutor Hanna Schmücker-Borgwardt told the court that the man wanted to take his wife and children to the United Kingdom in order to keep her away from the influence and protection of her family.

The brothers allegedly waited outside the woman’s parents’ home, and when she left with two of her three children, they threatened her and forced her into their vehicle.

She was reportedly locked in the trunk while the children were placed in the back seat. The group began the trip to northern France, but disagreements during the journey led the younger brother to abandon the plan and leave the vehicle near Hanover.

The older brother continued toward France with his wife and children, eventually reaching Calais via the Netherlands and Belgium. There, they resided in a migrant camp while seeking help from smugglers to cross into the United Kingdom. The man allegedly raped his wife again while they were sleeping in a tent…

Hungary sues European Commission over €1 million-a-day migrant fine

The Hungarian government has launched a legal challenge against the European Commission’s decision to impose a daily €1 million fine over the country’s refusal to accept illegal migrants. György Bakondi, the chief security advisor to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, announced on Wednesday that Budapest will file a lawsuit with the European Court of Justice.

Appearing on TV2’s “Mokka” program, Bakondi said Hungary will not comply with the European Union’s new Migration Pact, which he described as “a clear call for illegal immigrants to be allowed in.” He emphasized that Hungary remains committed to its sovereignty and national security, and refuses to be pressured into taking in individuals who entered the bloc unlawfully.

The lawsuit will be led by a team of lawyers with what Bakondi called “a serious reputation,” including two former members of the European Court of Justice.

Hungary’s resistance to EU migration policy is not new. In 2015, the country faced a surge of more than 400,000 illegal border crossings within two months.

In response, the government implemented border fences and legal restrictions to halt the flow. Officials credited these measures with preventing the emergence of terrorist threats, no-go zones, and the overburdening of public services.

In a national referendum in 2016, 98 percent of those who voted rejected the proposal to allow the European Union to mandate the obligatory resettlement of non-Hungarian citizens into Hungary without parliamentary approval. The referendum had a 44 percent turnout, under the 50 percent threshold required to be considered valid.

The Orbán administration had already signaled its intent to take legal action against Brussels back in December, setting aside 600 million forints (approximately €1.5 million) to fund the court battle…

Orbán tells Ben Shapiro only Trump can bring peace in Ukraine war

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, in an exclusive interview with conservative commentator Ben Shapiro during CPAC Hungary, sharply criticized the West’s handling of the war in Ukraine and declared that only one leader, U.S. President Donald Trump, understands that the conflict cannot be won militarily.

“Everyone must realize that this war cannot be won in the trenches,” Orbán said, directly challenging the belief among Western governments that a Ukrainian military victory is still achievable.

According to the Hungarian leader, both Moscow and Kyiv are entrenched in unrealistic expectations, and European leaders are equally unwilling to acknowledge the war’s political dead end.

“The only person who doesn’t believe this war can be won is the president of the United States: Donald Trump,” Orbán said. “Only the Americans can bring peace through talks with the Russians. That’s the key.”

Orbán argued that a negotiated settlement can only emerge from U.S.-Russian dialogue, not from further fighting in Ukraine. In his view, Washington is already leaning toward a political resolution, but is being undermined by European elites who continue to push for more conflict.

“Europeans do not support the U.S. president’s peace initiative. In fact, they want to drag him back to the pro-war position,” he said. “The most important thing is for the West to support the American president in unison – this could bring peace.”

Orbán emphasized that the European establishment’s fixation on defeating Russia is further encouraging Ukraine to prolong the conflict in hopes of more Western aid.

“In reality, the Russians want to reach the borders of the four regions they have chosen. And the Ukrainians hope that if they continue the war, they will receive even more money, weapons, technology, and reconstruction support from Europe and maybe America,” he said.

In a broader reflection on global politics, Orbán advocated for a more grounded approach: “In politics, you shouldn’t plan too many steps ahead. Sometimes you just need to look at the most important goal. Approach it, and then we’ll see how it goes.”

Teen sexually assaulted with candle and beaten by girlfriend’s family in France for dating a Turkish girl

A teenage boy was violently attacked and sexually assaulted in the Paris suburb of Chennevières-sur-Marne over the weekend because he was in a relationship with a Turkish girl, according to French police and prosecutors.

The teenager, who is Franco-Turkish, told police that his girlfriend’s family did not approve of their relationship. “It didn’t please the father or the older brother of the girlfriend,” a source close to the investigation told Le Parisien.

The assault began around 10 p.m. on Saturday in the town of Noiseau. The victim was with a friend when two men arrived by car and forced both boys into the vehicle’s trunk. The victim immediately recognized the men as his girlfriend’s brothers.

They were taken to an industrial area in Chennevières-sur-Marne, to a business where the girl’s father works. There, the teenager was subjected to a brutal ordeal: He was beaten, sexually assaulted with a candle, and threatened with death.

His attackers filmed the abuse and warned they would release the footage if he continued to see the girl.

After the assault, the attackers drove the two boys to La Queue-en-Brie and released them. But instead of remaining silent, the victim and his friend went to the police station in Chennevières around 1 a.m. on Sunday and filed a complaint.

Iran amputates hands of two thieves in Isfahan

File photo of a prisoner being amputated by a guillotine-like device in Iran

Iran has carried out amputation sentences on two people convicted of theft in Isfahan Central Prison, the head of the Isfahan Justice Department announced on Tuesday.

Asadollah Jaafari, who did not identify the two men, described them as “professional thieves” with multiple convictions as well as crimes such as destruction and intentional harm.

He added that the sentences were carried out “after undergoing legal procedures in the prosecutor’s office, the preliminary court, and the provincial appeals court, with final confirmation of the verdict by the Supreme Court.”

However, Jaafari did not provide specific details regarding the specific charges.

International human rights organizations have consistently condemned such punishments…

At least 237 individuals in Iran were sentenced to amputation between 1 January 2000 and 24 September 2020, with at least 129 of those sentences carried out, according to Ravina Shamdasani, spokesperson for the UN Human Rights Office.

According to Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Iran’s judiciary chief, “If theft is proven under the conditions set by Islam, the thief’s fingers must be amputated.”

ICE immigration raids empty Home Depot parking lots of day laborers

Parking lots outside Home Depot stores across the country that were once teeming with day laborers angling for work are now eerily quiet — a stark sign of how the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown is reshaping the informal labor market.

In northern New Jersey, just a few men stood under the morning sun on Tuesday, where dozens used to gather, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Similar scenes played out in Los Angeles and Houston, where some Home Depot locations saw no workers at all. Security guards at two LA stores warned day laborers to stay on public sidewalks.

In Westlake, a heavily Latino neighborhood near downtown LA, one location was nearly deserted days after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid swept through a nearby strip mall…

Sen. Josh Hawley Launches Investigation Into Coordinated Unrest Targeting ICE — Demands Records from Pro-Immigration Group, Threatens Criminal Referral for Noncompliance

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has launched an explosive investigation into the growing chaos engulfing Los Angeles and other Democrat-run cities.

As Chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism, Hawley is demanding accountability from the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), a left-wing pro-illegal immigration group that has come under fire for allegedly funding and facilitating violent anti-ICE protests that have spiraled into riots.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that according to a damning exposé by investigative account @DataRepublican, several nonprofit organizations and shadowy political fronts played a pivotal role in igniting the chaos that saw federal officers attacked, flags burned, and city streets blocked.

But what’s more alarming: tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money may have indirectly fueled the unrest.

At the center of the funding web is CHIRLA—the Coalition for Humane Immigration Rights. Documents reveal the group saw a shocking jump from $12 million to $34 million in government grants in just one year.

While most of that is believed to come from the State of California, the group has received federal funding as well.

According to @DataRepublican, photos from the scene of the riots show CHIRLA-linked materials and professionally printed signs that trace back to the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL)—a Communist group operating in the U.S. with no transparency and no registered nonprofit status…

Records Reveal Stacey Abrams Funneled $20.2 Million From Her Nonprofit to Lawyer Pal

A nonprofit founded by Georgia Democratic politician Stacey Abrams to protect voting rights paid more than $20 million to a lawyer who is a close friend and helped set up two of her private businesses, according to tax and state incorporation filings and other records obtained by RealClearInvestigations.

Abrams’ Fair Fight Action redirected the tax-exempt donations and government grants to Allegra Lawrence-Hardy, her former campaign chair between 2019 and 2023.

Most of the funds covered legal expenses charged by the boutique law firm Lawrence-Hardy co-founded, for a failed race-bias lawsuit filed against Abram’s Republican opponent, Gov. Brian Kemp, after she lost to him in Georgia’s 2018 gubernatorial election.

In its articles of incorporation, Fair Fight Action Inc. states that “The Corporation will not be operated for the pecuniary gain or profit of any individual.” They also said no revenues will be “distributed” to any individual except when “authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered.”

The nonprofit’s payout to her friend’s law firm, which averaged more than $4 million each year over those five years, raised eyebrows and conflict-of-interest concerns among ethics watchdogs briefed by RCI.

“Twenty million in fees is outrageous,” said Paul Kamenar, counsel for the National Legal and Policy Center. “It may be an IRS violation for waste of nonprofit assets, as well as self-dealing and other ethical and legal breaches.”

“At a minimum hiring her friend as lead attorney presents a glaring conflict of interest, because Abrams’ close association with both the Fair Fight case and her friend provided an opportunity to enrich her friend through the nonprofit’s litigation.”

He and other legal experts say the costs to litigate the case were extravagant compared with other voting-rights cases fought in federal court. The state of Georgia paid less than $6 million total to its law firms defending the state in the case.

The unusually high legal bills helped drive Fair Fight Action more than $2.5 million into debt last year, forcing the group to lay off the majority of its staff…

ICE Prepares to Deploy Tactical Units to Five Democrat-Run Cities Amid Escalating Chaos and Lawlessness: Report

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is gearing up to deploy elite tactical units to five Democrat-controlled cities drowning in chaos, according to a report from MSNBC.

What began with federal immigration enforcement in L.A. has ignited demonstrations—and even violent scenes—in major metropolitan areas.

The targeted cities—Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, and Northern Virginia—are sanctuary strongholds where local leaders have long thumbed their noses at federal authority, shielding criminal illegal aliens while lawlessness festers.

The announcement comes as Los Angeles, another Democrat-run disaster zone, spirals into anarchy following ICE raids.

MSNBC reports that ICE, equipped with Bear Cat armored vehicles, long guns, and tactical gear, are now poised to storm these five Democrat strongholds.

ICE’s Special Response Teams (SRTs) are highly trained, elite units within ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) tasked with handling high-risk situations, serving warrants, and assisting other law enforcement agencies….

Twin daughters of top Los Angeles Democrat arrested in ICE riots for allegedly assaulting police officer with deadly weapon

The twin daughters of a top Los Angeles Democrat were arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon during the ICE riots in California, according to numerous reports.

As of Tuesday, at least 378 people have been arrested in connection with the Los Angeles ICE protests and riots, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Included in those arrested on Sunday were 26-year-old twins Lucia Aguilar, who goes by Luz, and Antonia Aguilar.

The Daily Mail and New York Post reported that the twin daughters are suspected of assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon. It was not certain what the two women reportedly used as a deadly weapon.

According to jail records, both women were held on $50,000 bail before being released on Monday afternoon.

Both women are scheduled to appear in court on June 30.

The two arrested suspects are the twin daughters of Rick Cole — a Democrat Pasadena City Councilmember and the former mayor of Pasadena. The Los Angeles Times noted that Rick Cole is also “a high-level aide to L.A. City Controller Kenneth Mejia.”

According to the official website of the city of Los Angeles, Luz Aguilar serves as the deputy for economic innovation and community growth for Los Angeles City Councilmember Ysabel Jurado.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Luz Aguilar was placed on unpaid leave after being arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon.

Inflation Remains at Lowest Level in More than Four Years in May

Inflation under the Trump Administration continued to defy expectations in May, remaining at the lowest level in more than four years, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported Wednesday, releasing its monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) data.

Compared to a year earlier, the so-called “core” inflation rate, which excludes the volatile gasoline and food categories, held steady at 2.8% for the third straight month – remaining at the lowest level since March 2021. Economists had predicted a 2.9% increase.

Likewise, May’s 0.1% core increase from April came in lower than the 0.3% forecasted. It was also down from April’s 0.2% monthly increase and less than analysts’ 0.3% expectation.

“Since President Trump took office, inflation has come in below economists’ expectations every single month,” the White House noted, commenting on May’s BLS report.

May’s all-items CPI increased a seasonally-adjusted 0.1% from the previous month and a non-adjusted 2.4% over the past 12 months. In April, CPI recorded increases of 0.2% month-to-month and 2.3% year-to-year.

The index for shelter rose 0.3 percent in May, unchanged from April’s monthly increase, and was the primary factor in the all-items increase. Year-to-year, the shelter index was up 3.9% in May.

The food index increased 0.3% as both of its major components, the index for food at home and the index for food away from home, rose 0.3% in May. On a 12-month basis, food prices were 2.9% higher in May, due to increases both at (2.2%) and away from (3.8%) home.

In contrast, the energy index declined 1.0% in May as the gasoline index fell 2.6% over the month. Compared to a year earlier, the price of energy is down 3.5% and the cost of gasoline is 12.0% lower.

In its statement, the White House quoted cable news analysts expressing surprise at, but acknowledging, May’s upbeat inflation report:…

Trump Confirms US–China Trade Deal

President Donald Trump says the United States has reached a deal with China as both sides wrapped up their trade talks in London.

In a June 11 Truth Social post, the president confirmed that the agreement will ensure China supplies the necessary rare earths and full magnets.

In exchange, the United States will allow Chinese students to use its colleges and universities, which Trump says “has always been good with me.”

“We are getting a total of 55% tariffs, China is getting 10%. Relationship is excellent!” the president wrote in all caps.

The deal will be subject to final approval by Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

U.S. stocks were little changed in pre-market trading after the president’s social media announcement.

China is the world’s largest producer of rare earths, accounting for approximately 60 percent of the global supply and processing around 90 percent.

In recent years, U.S. officials have expressed concern about Beijing’s grip on the international supply chain for critical minerals.

Effective April 4, China had suspended nearly all exports of a diverse array of critical minerals and magnets, triggering supply chain snafus….

Eye-Scanning Digital ID Launches in London as Global Rollout Spreads

A controversial new digital ID system is not being rolled out across several major cities in the United Kingdom as the technology continues to spread globally.

A biometric identity project backed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is set to establish a physical foothold in the UK.

Its controversial iris-scanning “Orbs” are scheduled to debut in London on June 12, 2025.

The project, known as Worldcoin, has already launched across multiple blue cities in the United States.

Worldcoin is now preparing for a full-scale expansion across the UK.

Under the banner of “verifying humanness,” Worldcoin is promoting its World ID system.

World ID is a digital identity generated by scanning a person’s iris using a metallic orb-like device.

While marketed as a safeguard in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), critics warn that such initiatives could mark a deeper push toward centralized digital identity systems.

Experts are raising alarms about the growing surveillance and globalist influence over personal data…

Grand Jury Indicts Democrat Representative For ‘Forcibly Interfering’ With ICE Officers

Rep. LaMonica McIver, D-N.J., faces more than eight years in prison after a New Jersey grand jury for the Department of Justice indicted her Tuesday for her role in a May 9 scuffle outside the Delaney Hall Federal Immigration Facility in Newark.

According to the allegations in the indictment, McIver “forcibly impeded and interfered with federal officers” when they tried to arrest Newark Mayor Ras Baraka outside the ICE detention facility.

McIver was there to “conduct a congressional oversight inspection,” with two other Democrat members of Congress, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rep. Rob Menendez, both also representing New Jersey.

As they began their visit, an immigration protest rally was underway outside the facility’s security gate. The congressional delegation was then brought inside the secure area on the other side of the gate.

Shortly after, Mayor Baraka arrived with his security detail and told the gate guard that he was part of the congressional entourage. First, he was denied entry, but after the guard became concerned for the mayor’s safety, he was allowed inside the secure area.

But a federal officer said the mayor “was not authorized to be in the facility’s secured area, and issued Mayor Baraka multiple warnings that he would be arrested if he did not leave.”…

McIver is charged with three counts of “Assaulting, Resisting, Impeding, and Interfering with a Federal Officer.” Two counts carry a penalty of up to 8 years in prison each, and the third count carries up to one year in prison, according to the DOJ….

FBI Dallas arrests hundreds of online sexual child predators in major takedown

An FBI Dallas-led multiagency law enforcement operation spanning multiple counties in north Texas targeting online sexual predators resulted in hundreds being arrested.

The operation was conducted as FBI Director Kash Patel warned last month that federal agents would “hunt down” online child sexual predators.

The priority of the Justice Department and FBI is “our children,” Patel said. “If you harm our children, you will be given no sanctuary. There is no place we will not come to hunt you down. There is no place we will not look for you, and there is no cage we will not put you in should you do harm to our children.”

Following through on that pledge, Patel praised those involved in a major “take down of child abusers in Texas … to protect America’s kids from criminals. We’re taking them off the street and not stopping.”

The North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and FBI Dallas’s North Texas Child Exploitation Task Force led Operation Soteria Shield, a month-long collaborative enforcement effort to find and rescue children being sexually exploited online.

The operation was run by the FBI Dallas Division, the police departments of Dallas, Plano, Wylie and Garland in conjunction with the National Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Spanning multiple counties, more than 70 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, federal prosecutors, children’s advocacy centers, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children were involved. Their efforts led to the rescue of 109 children and arrest of 244 on nearly 400 charges, authorities said….

Illegal alien charged with attempted murder for throwing Molotov cocktail at officers in LA riots: DHS

DHS noted that Garduno-Galvez had previously been deported and has a prior criminal record, including a 2024 arrest for grand theft near the Anaheim Police Department and a DUI in Long Beach. (DHS)

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement amid rioting in Los Angeles on June 7.

“Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles. ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Wednesday statement.

McLaughlin added: “The Los Angeles rioters will not stop us or slow us down. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

DHS noted that Garduno-Galvez had previously been deported and has a prior criminal record, including a 2024 arrest for grand theft near the Anaheim Police Department and a DUI in Long Beach…

Jon Voight Rips ‘Fool’ Gavin Newsom for Blaming Trump for ‘Barbaric’ Anti-Ice Riots: ‘All You Do Is Cause Chaos, You’re a Disgrace’

Evan Agostini/Invision/AP

“You’re a fool blaming Trump,” Voight said, talking with an American flag as background and verbally saluting Trump as “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln” in the two-minute video.

“What are you doing for this destruction, these animals destroying Los Angeles,” Voight said. “Are you there? Talking calmly with them? You fool. They would burn you down like they’re burning the cars and the American flag, with no regard for humanity.”

Voight insisted Trump called in military reinforcement to “help with these destructive, barbaric riots.” The actor said all Newsom did was “cause chaos for the people. You’re a disgrace.”

Gov. Newsom’s press office account retweeted Voight’s clip with the Grandpa Simpson “Old Man Yells At Cloud” meme…

Former jail employee arrested in connection to Louisiana inmate escape

Image credit: Louisiana Attorney General’s Office

Authorities in Louisiana arrested and charged a former employee of the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, who police identified as the girlfriend of escapee Derrick Groves, for her alleged role in facilitating his escape. Police arrested Darriana Burton, 28, on Monday over allegations she aided in the jailbreak on May 16. The jailbreak led to the escape of ten inmates, including her alleged boyfriend Groves, a convicted murderer.

Burton denied the allegations in a text message sent to The Associated Press.

“I categorically deny any involvement in introducing contraband into the jail or assisting in any escape,” Burton wrote. “These allegations are false and I intend to fully defend myself through the proper legal channels.”

Groves and another escaped inmate, Antoine Massey, are still on the run, according to the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office. Massey is facing charges of rape, kidnapping and domestic battery, CBS News reported.

Burton is facing a felony charge of conspiracy to commit simple escape related to her alleged involvement in facilitating the escape, according to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.

Authorities said they believe Burton is the current girlfriend of Groves and confirmed the two were in an on-again, off-again relationship for three years.
