Watch Cincinnati Police Save Woman from Garage Ledge: ‘There’s an Angel for You’

Ohio police officers recently saved a suicidal woman threatening to jump from the 5th floor of a parking garage.
Captured on the officers’ body cameras, the harrowing, yet inspiring moments demonstrate the city’s finest in their finest hour.
Multiple bystanders called 911 after seeing a silhouette on the roof of the garage, sending officers from the Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police racing to the scene.
Officers Newman and Ramey arrive to find a woman standing on the wrong side of the railing.
The situation, Police spokesmen said, is one which their officers are trained to encounter, and Officer Newman jumped into action. He tries soothing the woman with words of comfort, pleas to step back from the edge, and a personal anecdote that ultimately struck a chord.
“I lost my daughter many years ago, and I wish she could be here,” Officer Newman says in released body cam footage, demonstrating that the deepest sadness and despair can be overcome. The woman responds by saying that her children had also died, but quick-thinking Newman didn’t give up.
“They are angels looking over us—there’s an angel for you,” he said.
Evidently that empathy won over the would-be jumper who quickly calls out for the officers to save her. As if the encounter wasn’t already stressful enough, at that moment, the woman slipped and was suddenly hanging on with only the strength in her hands.
They managed to reach her before the worst, pull her up, and bring her to safety. NBC 5 WLWT reports that she is unharmed.
Lost Painting Looted by Nazis Found Hanging on Wall in a Real Estate Listing

A painting looted by Nazis in World War II has been turned over to the Argentine police after a years-long search led the rightful owners to a property listing that showed it hanging on the wall in a living room.
A Dutch investigative news outlet contacted the real estate agency who called the authorities, but when they showed up, the painting was gone.
This tip off from the agency led to four simultaneous police raids last Monday in different parts of Mar del Plata state. One of them was at the home of a descendant of the Nazi party official Friedrich Kadgien who fled to Argentina in 1951.
Kadgien was charged by the Fuhrer with transporting to Switzerland large quantities of hard currency, diamonds, and artworks that had either been stolen by the Nazis or sold to the party under duress from their Jewish owners.
Kadgien fled to Switzerland where the country’s neutrality protected him from extradition. He eventually moved to Argentina, bringing with him Portrait of a Lady, an oil-on-canvas of Italian Countess Colleoni by the artist Vittore Ghislandi.
It was Portrait of a Lady that was identified in the photo by a Dutch newspaper called the Algemeen Dagblad, which was investigating the whereabouts of many stolen artworks that once belonged to another chief character in this story: the Dutch art dealer Jacques Goudstikker.
Goudstikker began a systematic attempt to recover his artworks, stolen by the Nazis, in the 1990s. Portrait of a Lady had already been on a database of stolen and lost art, but leads in Europe turned up nothing.
Many Nazi officials who escaped Germany fled to Argentina, and it was there that Friedrich Kadgien’s daughter Patricia and her husband Juan Carlos Cortegoso, came to inherit the work and possibly others, court documents outlined.
Texas Woman Injured in Botched Abortion at New Mexico Planned Parenthood

On Friday, September 12, 2025, Abortion Free New Mexico received footage showing a woman who was apparently injured during an abortion at the Albuquerque Planned Parenthood. Her condition is currently unknown. A van with Texas license plates followed the ambulance to the hospital.
Over 95% of out-of-state women obtaining abortions in New Mexico are coming from Texas.
Here are some troubling facts about abortion in New Mexico.
- In 2023, about 14,200 women from Texas traveled to New Mexico to obtain abortions, bypassing Texas abortion laws.
- New Mexico does not license or inspect abortion clinics as Ambulatory Surgical Centers in the same way many states regulate facilities that provide abortions.
- New Mexico no longer requires by law that only licensed physicians provide abortions. The 1969 statute with that restriction was repealed in 2021 (SB 10).
- There’s no New Mexico law explicitly requiring abortion clinics to call 911 in every injury/complication. This makes it difficult to document abortion injuries for public accountability.
- In 2022, a $1.265 million wrongful death and medical malpractice settlement was reached against The University of New Mexico (UNM) and Southwestern Women’s Options after allegations that the clinic instructed a woman not to seek emergency care or call 911 if complications arose, but to instead call the clinic’s answering service, which ultimately resulted in her death.
- Texas minors can obtain abortions in New Mexico without any parental involvement.
- Over 50 abortion related injuries have been documented by Abortion Free New Mexico leaders.
Tara Shaver, spokeswoman for Abortion Free New Mexico issued the following statement,
“In light of this most recent emergency at the Planned Parenthood megacenter in Albuquerque, in which a Texas woman was apparently injured, Abortion Free New Mexico leaders are requesting that Texas Governor Greg Abbott declare a state of emergency to warn Texas women of the dangers posed by traveling to New Mexico for an abortion.
This is a public health crisis that may require public alerts to be issued or more extreme measures to be taken to prevent Texas women from obtaining abortions in New Mexico. While some Texas women are needing emergency medical care while in New Mexico, how many are requiring medical intervention upon returning to their home state after an abortion complication arises? Abortion Free New Mexico is very concerned about the lives of Texas babies that are being murdered and the mothers being injured in the process.”
Abortion Free New Mexico has placed billboards up in Texas to warn women of the dangers of traveling to New Mexico for abortions.
2 Timothy 2:26 – Guiding Opponents to Truth:
Humility and Hope in Ministry

(26) and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
It is important to realize who the apostle Paul is writing about in this verse. The antecedent of “they” appears in the previous verse: “those who are in opposition.” The entire epistle is instruction for the evangelist Timothy, and in this passage in particular, Paul is giving the younger man advice on how to handle those who dispute the gospel message he taught.
He instructs Timothy, as “a servant of the Lord,” to correct his opponents with humility and in the hope of two positive outcomes should God grant repentance to them. First, his correct explanation of the matter in contention would bring them out of their ignorance, liberating them from the bondage of error (John 8:32) and opening the potentialities of the truth to them. Paul was very aware that false teachers and anti-Christian foes functioned with a veil over their minds (see, for instance, how he explains it regarding the Jews in II Corinthians 3:14-16; Matthew 15:14), a blindness that could only be lifted by the direct intervention of God revealing Himself and His truth by the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 2:10-14; John 6:44). A minister of God should always answer naysayers plainly with the revealed truth of God to give them the knowledge that may lead to their repentance.
The second positive outcome is the subject of II Timothy 2:26. He hopes that exposure to the truth will bring opponents “to their senses” and free them from their captivity to Satan. The apostle realizes that even the most cunning argument of one of God’s servants is not enough to accomplish this; a person’s repentance and acceptance of the truth will happen only if God “flips a switch” in his mind by the Holy Spirit to become receptive to Him. So a minister must present the truth in the event that God will use his explanation to call him into a relationship with Him. It is only at this point that an individual truly comes to his senses (see Luke 15:17; Acts 9:3-20). Only then does he begin to see without the blinders (or in Paul’s own case, when the scales fell from his eyes).
Once one accepts the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and acknowledges Him as personal Savior and Lord, the walls of Satan’s prison fall away and crumble to dust (see Romans 6:16-22). His power over us disappears because his claim on us has been removed; our sins have been forgiven and we are no longer in rebellion against God. We have gone over to the other side in the great spiritual war that the Devil has always been destined to lose. The Captain of our salvation has already crushed the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15), and all that remains is the perfection of the saints for their roles in the Kingdom of God.
However, there are yet billions of people who are still “captive . . . to do his will.” Revelation 12:9 states that the great dragon, who is the Devil and Satan, has deceived the whole world. Despite his ignominious defeat at Calvary, Satan is determined to turn it into victory. In his pride, he still thinks he can win! So he will continue to oppose God and His people wherever and whenever he can, using his captives all over the world to trouble, persecute, and kill God’s saints. This reality means that Christians must remain on their guard at all times, prepared to “fight the good fight” (II Timothy 4:7) to wear the crown of victory in the Kingdom.
Finally, we must remember that our fight is really not against the men and women still enslaved to Satan, although they are the faces and voices that oppose us. Paul writes:
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13)
We need to look beyond our physical opponents to the evil spirits behind them, realizing that our human foes have not yet come to their senses and seen the light of the truth that only God can reveal. Thus, we can contend with them in humility and gentleness, grateful for the grace God has extended to us.

5 children slain in Fulani attack on Christian village

Fulani herdsmen attacked a predominantly Christian village in Kaduna state, Nigeria, on Aug. 24, killing seven people, including a 1-year-old infant, residents said.

Appeals court allows Trump admin. to block Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood

An appeals court panel has ruled that the Trump administration can prevent Planned Parenthood Federation of America from receiving Medicaid funding, overturning a lower court decision.
A three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit issued an order against two injunctions issued by a district court against the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
“We denied without prejudice as premature the defendants’ motion to stay the injunctions pending the disposition of those appeals, while a motion for similar relief was pending in the district court,” read the brief order.
“The July 21, 2025, preliminary injunction and the July 28, 2025, preliminary injunction are hereby stayed pending disposition of the respective appeals.”
The appeals court panel also granted requests from the state of Louisiana and the conservative law firm the American Center for Law & Justice to file amicus briefs in the litigation.
Planned Parenthood President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson denounced the ruling in a statement, claiming that, due to the panel decision, “patients and providers are in limbo.”…
We are all Charlie Kirk now

Across this great nation, millions of parents are trying to help their sons navigate the profound sadness and grief over Charlie Kirk’s murder. Many of these parents barely knew who Charlie was, but their sons loved him.
Many of America’s youth looked up to Charlie and yearned for his messaging about God, family, country, conservatism and truth.
To paint a picture of how connected countless boys felt to Charlie, at one school, they wore coats and ties to school to honor him. Others have taken to social media to express their gratitude for his leadership and to publicly declare that they will not be silenced. They are promising to carry on his legacy.
As a father and someone who spent 25 years coaching and teaching, I myself cannot think of a better role model for young males than Charlie. He was a man of wisdom and integrity far beyond his years.
His passion for the youth and genuine desire to see them grow into successful, God-fearing individuals were ever present in his ministry and mission. He told the truth with love and compassion — something young Americans are desperately craving.
While this current moment demands time to grieve and process, soon it will require moving forward. I want to believe Charlie would expect nothing less.
This is truly a turning point in our lifetime, and even more so for the youth. As a society, the path we choose to walk down next is important. Once the fog of pain and sorrow subsides, young males are going to seek out new sources of information and guidance. It is crucial that someone with the values of Charlie fills that vacuum.
It falls upon us to pick up that torch and lead young men, for posterity. We do this by preparing the child for the road, not the road for the child.
First and foremost, family and faith in God need to be centered. Even though it is difficult at times, genuine happiness comes from the responsibility of raising a family and leading them in worship. Also, there needs to be a high value on integrity and trustworthiness. A young man of integrity builds a strong family, and strong families are vital to a high-trust, thriving society.
Charlie was a committed family man and a person of deep integrity. Anecdotes aplenty, there was no doubt he was a man of conviction, and meant what he said and said what he meant. He never wavered from his core beliefs.
Additionally, young males need to be taught to value courage, for without it, one will not pursue the Truth. Charlie, speaking to a 13-year-old girl, defined courage as “doing the right thing when you don’t know how it’s going to work out.” He called for committing oneself to the correct course of action “regardless of the cost associated with it.”
He was the epitome of courage.
Even though courage necessitates sacrifice, which includes tradeoffs and “costs associated with it,” Charlie understood this. In the end, he made the ultimate sacrifice for his faith, family, and his convictions. There is no higher calling….
Texas A&M Fires Lecturer after Student Shows Faith-Based Objection to LGBTQ Curriculum

Texas A&M University (TAMU) has fired a senior lecturer and two administrators for violating state law after a Republican lawmaker shared a viral video of a classroom discussion on gender identity.
A hidden-camera video, shared by state Rep. Brian Harrison on Sept. 8, English lecturer Melissa McCoul dismissed a student who objected to the lesson, which was discussed as part of a children’s literature course, The Christian Post reported.
“This also very much goes against not only myself but a lot of people’s religious beliefs. And so, I am not going to participate in this because it’s not legal and I don’t want to promote something that is against our president’s laws as well as against my religious beliefs,” the student says in the video.
“If you are uncomfortable in this class, you do have the right to leave. What we are doing is not illegal,” McCoul responds.
In response to the video, TAMU President Mark A. Welsh III removed the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the head of the English Department on Sept. 8, citing deviations from the course’s published description. Welsh would also fire the professor “effective immediately” on Sept. 9.
“This summer, a children’s literature course contained content that did not align with any reasonable expectation of standard curriculum for the course,” he said. “After this issue was raised, college and department leadership worked with students to offer alternative opportunities for students to complete the course, and made changes to ensure this course content does not continue in future semesters.”
In another video, Welsh was heard defending the curriculum, telling the same student who expressed their concern to McCoul that LGBT-related courses are currently at TAMU and “have been for a long time.”…..
Short film series helps young people explore Jesus and life’s big questions

Shine Films has launched a brand-new short film series, HOPE, to help young people explore life’s big questions and discover true and eternal hope in Jesus.
The free three-part series, available on YouTube with supporting resources, has been developed with input from youth organisations throughout the UK and Ireland.
HOPE engages with the hopelessness and yet openness to faith shaping the lives of many Gen Z today.
With each film tailored for use in schools, youth groups, churches, or one-to-one settings, Shine Films hope the series will provide a timely tool for faith conversations.
The release comes at a time when some evidence points to growing spiritual interest among young people in the UK.
A YouGov survey commissioned by the Bible Society found that church attendance has risen from 8% in 2018 to 12% in 2024, driven largely by Generation Z.
Men aged 18–24 showed the sharpest increase, with over one in five now attending church at least once a month compared to just 4% six years ago.
Women in the corresponding age range also saw a threefold rise, from 4% in 2018 to 12% in 2024.
The study further revealed that nearly one in three 18–24-year-olds said they would go if a friend extended an invitation, while a quarter voiced interest in exploring the Bible further – the highest of any age group.
Additional research by Youth for Christ’s Z-A Growing Spirituality report highlights similar findings among Generation Alpha (11–18-year-olds).
More than half identified as Christian (52%) and indicated they might go to church if a friend encouraged them (53%).
Two-thirds (65%) reported good impressions of their local churches.
However, the research also highlights that although many young people are spiritually interested, most do not have a solid knowledge of Christianity or strong links to traditional church life…..

World Events Testify That We Live In Biblical Times

We live at a time like no other. We live in biblical times.
The Bible says that the last days would look exactly like what we see all around us today. How can anyone miss how closely world events align with what God prophesied for the days leading up to Jesus’ glorious return to the earth? The many distractions of modern life effectively blind the multitudes, and even most believers, to the multitude of signs pointing to the rapid approach of God’s judgment upon the planet.
We are witnessing the convergence of signs at an ever-accelerating rate. It borders on the surreal. Below are just a few of the reasons for believing that the start of the Day of the Lord could happen at any moment, which means that our homegoing is even closer to reality.
The lawlessness and corruption of our day already far exceed what I thought possible before the Rapture. Paul described the antichrist as “the man of lawlessness” and wrote that the “mystery of lawlessness is already at work” (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7). The disregard for civil authority that we see today is extreme, no doubt, and fulfills a key aspect of the apostle’s warning concerning the “perilous times” of the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-9). The ramping up of anarchy and violence, as evidenced by the murder of Charlie Kirk, points to the soon arrival of the “lawless one” on the world scene.
We know that he cannot begin his reign of terror until after the restraining work of the Holy Spirit ends with our departure from planet Earth. How much longer can it be before Jesus comes for us?
The Bible says God will judge the world in real time. According to 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3, there’s coming a time when the world will experience the “sudden destruction” that will mark the beginning of wrath during the Day of the Lord. The Old Testament prophets wrote of an extended period of God’s vengeance upon the earth that they referred to as “the Day of the Lord.” This time will culminate with Jesus’ return and thousand-year rule over the nations.
Someday soon, God’s patience with the wickedness and killing of the innocent in both America and the world will end. The Lord Jesus will take all born-again believers out of this world, and His wrath will fall upon those now promoting the violence and mayhem of our day.
Modern technology not only makes the mark of the beast possible, but it also makes it highly likely. With the advances in artificial intelligence (AI), the creation of huge databases, the arrival of digital currencies, and other advances in technology, the day of a cashless society with governments possessing the ability to control the buying and selling is not only possible but highly probable. It’s remarkable that even those who might scoff at our belief in the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18) tell us that the day is coming when those in authority will be able to dictate all monetary transactions.
Twenty years ago, I thought that the antichrist would need a huge army of loyalists in every nation to control all the buying and selling. About ten years ago, I began to see how he could use recent technical advances to accomplish it. Now, even those who don’t believe what John wrote in Revelation say that such a time surely lies ahead for the world…..
Christian School Wins Legal Victory After Vermont Officials Ban Them From All State-Sponsored Sports

In a victory for religious schools, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit ruled Tuesday that Vermont must allow a Christian school back into the state’s athletic association.
Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing Mid Vermont Christian School and one of its families filed a lawsuit against state officials two years ago after they expelled the school and its students from participating in all state-sponsored sports because the school followed its religious beliefs by forfeiting a girls’ basketball game against a male player.
“The government cannot punish religious schools—and the families they serve—by permanently kicking them out of state-sponsored sports simply because the state disagrees with their religious beliefs,” said ADF Senior Counsel and Vice President of U.S. Litigation David Cortman, who argued before the court. “For over two years, state officials have denied Mid Vermont Christian School a public benefit available to all other schools in Vermont just because it stood by the widely held, biblical belief that boys and girls are different. The 2nd Circuit was right to uphold constitutional protections by guaranteeing the school can fully participate while still adhering to its religious beliefs.”
“I never thought I would be in court for simply adhering to my Christian and commonsense belief that boys and girls are different,” said Chris Goodwin, coach of the girls’ basketball team. “At Mid Vermont Christian School, we strive to exemplify biblical truth in and through everything we do. We’re grateful for our legal team at Alliance Defending Freedom who helped us get back in the game. As a coach, I always want my team to play in fair and safe competitions. As a dad, I want my daughter to know that she should always stand up for her beliefs and should never be punished for that decision.”
“[Mid Vermont Christian and the Goodwins] are likely to succeed in establishing that [state officials] acted with hostility toward Mid Vermont’s religious beliefs,” the court wrote in its opinion in Mid Vermont Christian School v. Saunders. “The VPA’s Executive Director publicly castigated Mid Vermont—and religious schools generally—while the VPA rushed to judgment on whether and how to discipline the school. In upholding the expulsion, the VPA doubled down on that hostility by challenging the legitimacy of the school’s religious beliefs. And as noted above, the punishment imposed was unprecedented, overbroad, and procedurally irregular. Those facts strongly support the inference that Mid Vermont’s religious objection ‘was not considered with the neutrality that the Free Exercise Clause requires.’”
Mid Vermont Christian School is a faith-based pre-K–12 school, located in Quechee, whose religious beliefs drive and form the foundation for everything it does. In 2023, the Vermont Principals’ Association kicked Mid Vermont out of its athletic association because the school forfeited a girls’ basketball game against a girls’ team with a male athlete because playing the game would have violated the school’s religious convictions….
Relegating Faith To The Private Corners Of Society Bred Hate And Violence In Our Nation

“When will it end?”
That was the question a legacy media commentator asked after conservative talk show host and thought leader Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University. Another lamented, “Is this how we solve our political differences in America?” From the shattered stained glass of Annunciation Catholic School to the crowded fields of Butler County, Pennsylvania, the heartbreaking answer is too often yes.
And yet evil, whether it slinks across a rooftop or slams into twin skyscrapers, is not new. Two thousand years ago, the prophet Hosea watched his own nation, awash in idolatry, turn its back on God and declared a warning from the Lord, “For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind …”
The admonition was as timely then as it is now. Lawlessness, violence, and bloodshed have become so frequent in American life that very little shocks our collective conscience. Yet the assassination of 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, as he peacefully engaged in dialogue on a university campus, is a loss that has stunned millions of Americans across the political spectrum.
As with tragedies before, the responses are predictable — calls for gun control, demands for more government programs, and appeals for prayer. I, too, call for prayer. Not because prayer is a slogan to calm emotions, but because genuine prayer positions us to hear God — and when we listen, He reveals the way forward.
This is an incredibly charged moment for our country, but that should not distract from the fact that America is reaping what it has sown.
Since the 1960s, a “long march through the institutions” sought to drive God, His word, and His authority from public life. The aim was to relegate faith to the private corners of society, never to influence the classroom, courtroom, or public square. Charlie Kirk and the movement he sparked stood up to the Left’s assault on college campuses, working tirelessly to challenge the godless influence on this generation. Other courageous thought leaders like Rush Limbaugh, Phyllis Schlafly, and Dr. James Dobson also gave voice to truth in a lost world. And while their work stalled the march, it has not stopped it.
So, how do we stop it and return civility to our nation? First, we must recognize that while our struggle is waged in political and cultural arenas, its roots are spiritual.
Without confronting the spiritual decay at the heart of our crisis, no policy or program will suffice. Scripture provides clear understanding to the people of God: the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to pull down strongholds.
This requires courage — to stand unapologetically for truth, yet to resist the temptation to mirror the bitterness of our age. We must speak truth with conviction, but also with love that disarms hatred…..

Trump condemns ‘brutal’ beheading of motel manager killed in front of his family and vows justice

President Donald Trump has vowed justice after the beheading of an Indian-origin hotel manager in Texas, saying the suspect in the case will be prosecuted to the “fullest extent” of the law.
Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah, 50, was beheaded by an edged weapon at a motel in Dallas on Wednesday after an argument with his co-worker, police say. Cuban national Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, 37, has been arrested and charged with murder.
“I am aware of the terrible reports regarding the murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah, a well respected person in Dallas, Texas, who was brutally beheaded, in front of his wife and son, by an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Cuba who should have never been in our Country,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
Sharing details from Homeland Security, the U.S. president said Yordanis had previously been held for other crimes. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has said that the accused was released because “Cuba did not accept him because of his criminal history”.
“This individual was previously arrested for terrible crimes, including child sex abuse, grand theft auto, and false imprisonment, but was released back into our Homeland under incompetent Joe Biden because Cuba did not want such an evil person in their Country,” Trump said.
“Rest assured, the time for being soft on these Illegal Immigrant Criminals is OVER under my watch!,” he said, and added: “This criminal, who we have in custody, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law. He will be charged with murder in the first degree!”
Nagamallaiah, a native of southern India’s Karnataka, worked at the Downtown Suites Motel in Dallas.
Homeland Security officials said he was attacked by Yordanis with a machete after the two got into a heated argument over a broken washing machine.
“This vile monster beheaded this man in front of his wife and child and proceeded to kick the victims’ head on the ground,” said Homeland Security assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin, calling it “completely preventable”….

Muslim Men in Utah Busted With Bombs on Terror Charges

It’s always the ones you least expect.
Two men have been taken into custody after an operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies in a Magna neighborhood.
One of the suspects were identified as 58-year-old Adeeb Nasir and 31-year-old Adil Justice Ahme Nasir.
According to a probable cause statement, bomb squads from the Salt Lake City Police Department and Unified Fire Authority responded to reports of a suspicious device.
The Nasirs were apparently arrested “for the offenses of manufacturing or possessing a weapon of mass destruction, threat of terrorism”.
On Sept. 12, members of the Salt Lake City Police Bomb Squad and Unified Fire Authority Arson/Bomb Squad responded to a suspicious device located in Salt Lake City. The device — an incendiary device — had reportedly been placed underneath a news media vehicle parked next to an occupied building. The device had reportedly been lit but failed to function as designed, police said. Authorities confirmed that it was determined the incendiary device was real.
No details on what the target was, but based on pictures of their house, they really disliked Trump. Including a flag reading ‘Is He Dead Yet’.
Due to use of illegal drugs, Adeeb is a restricted person with a protective order against him that prevents him from possessing firearms. The second suspect, identified as “Adil,” is also a restricted person due to illegal narcotic use.
A Very Different 9/11 Anniversary
(A bit long but good article, hit the link for more.)

Mourning Charlie Kirk.
During the first few years after 9/11, I commemorated the anniversaries of that terrible day by re-watching news reports about the attacks and their aftermath. On a half dozen or so of these anniversaries, I published pieces in which I reflected on the meaning of 9/11 five, ten, or however many years later. Never did I think that I might spend the 24th anniversary of 9/11 watching podcasts about the assassination, the day before, of a young man who was all of seven years old when Al-Qaeda struck the Twin Towers and Pentagon but who had since become a major figure on the American political scene.
After 9/11, we were told that Al-Qaeda had attacked America because it hated our freedoms. That wasn’t the entire truth – in reality, the attacks were acts of jihad, inspired by the key Islamic tenet that it’s incumbent upon true believers to fight the infidels and bring their lands into the Islamic fold. But, yes, part of what made America an infidel land was its devotion to free speech – a concept that is anathema to Islam, which regards any deviation from orthodox Muslim belief as intolerable heresy.
The killer of Charlie Kirk, and the countless people around the world who cheered his murder, share that Islamic contempt for the free exchange of ideas. At the time of 9/11, most Americans on both sides of the aisle would have said that they supported free expression. But during the years that followed, a dark change took place. The poisonous far-left attitudes that had been fed to college students for years broke out into the society at large.
Like the Al-Qaeda terrorists, many people on the left became prisoners of a hardened, hate-driven, undemocratic ideology that compelled them to prize raw power over anything else. Democratic Party rhetoric about Republicans became more extreme, with the labels “Hitler” and “Nazi” being thrown around more liberally than ever. Americans whose opinions would have been considered centrist and commonsensical only a few years earlier were now ruthlessly demonized.
As a result, many of us who dissent from leftist orthodoxy found ourselves cut off by friends and relatives who 20 years ago didn’t have a political thought in their heads but who had now been convinced by the media that our views were abhorrent.
Increasingly, reasonable conservative opinions were excluded from the mainstream news media. Major publishing houses ceased putting out books that didn’t toe the leftist line. Cancel culture thrived. And it was worst of all at our institutions of higher education. Professors who dared to challenge leftist orthodoxy, if only in the most modest and respectful manner, were savaged by their students and punished by pusillanimous administrators. Irreverent stand-up comics who had once been hugely popular on the campus circuit walked away from it because leftist students now viewed them as fascist. Conservative speakers who had once been welcomed at universities were prevented from speaking by angry student mobs who blocked the doors to auditoriums and disrupted their speeches with loud, inane chants.
It was into this swamp that Charlie Kirk dared to wade. If America’s response to 9/11 – the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan – proved disastrous, squandering blood and treasure in the naive expectation that semi-literate devotees of a savage religion would welcome Jeffersonian democracy, Charlie’s efforts turned out to be a smashing success. He greeted left-wing students with respect and courtesy, even if, in many cases, they were all but foaming at the mouth with hatred for him, having been informed that he was “divisive,” “controversial,” “polarizing,” a white supremacist, a misogynist, an instrument of evil. The wrong kind of speech, they had been instructed, was violence – and could justify actual violence.
Not a few of those students, however, ended up being disarmed by Charlie’s kindness and persuaded by his arguments. Then there were those students – who could be found even on the most far-left campuses – who didn’t buy into the campus orthodoxy, but who, before Charlie came along, didn’t dare to speak their minds. Charlie brought them out in droves. They discovered they weren’t alone in their dissent. Inspired by his courage, they began to challenge the orthodoxy.
And this was what made Charlie so dangerous to the left. He took his crusade to the campuses – Ground Zero for American leftism – and broke the left’s ideological hold on those places. During the Trump-Biden-Trump era, as the left disgraced itself repeatedly by spreading hoaxes, imposing lockdowns, calling January 6 an insurrection, and trying to destroy Trump by any means necessary, Charlie hung in there, arguing in a calm and steady voice for the founding values that had once united almost all Americans.
Desperate for power but having no real arguments in its quiver, the left resorted increasingly to jihadist-style violence, supporting Antifa and BLM, encouraging unstable young people around the country to wreak havoc over the death of a Minneapolis thug, and telling prosperous white Baby Boomers, most of them probably former hippies who still got their news exclusively from network TV, CNN, and MSNBC, that Trump – who was in fact rescuing democracy from the tyrannical left – was a threat to democracy…..
