Supreme Court Limits Federal Judges, Granting Trump Key Victory on Birthright Citizenship

The U.S. Supreme Court delivered a significant win for President Donald Trump on Friday, curbing federal judges’ ability to block his policies nationwide and altering the balance of power between the judiciary and the executive branch.

The decision centers on Trump’s controversial directive restricting birthright citizenship, a cornerstone of his broader immigration agenda.

The 6-3 ruling, authored by conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett, did not allow Trump’s executive order to take effect immediately.

Instead, it instructed lower courts that had blocked the order to reconsider the scope of their injunctions. The Supreme Court did not rule on the constitutionality of the policy itself.

Trump praised the decision, telling reporters at the White House that it opens the door for numerous policies that he claimed “have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis.” “We have so many of them. I have a whole list,” he said, highlighting measures ranging from restricting birthright citizenship to limiting federal funding for sanctuary cities and refugee resettlement.

The ruling narrowed three so-called “universal” injunctions issued by federal judges in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington state.

These injunctions had previously blocked enforcement of the order across the country while litigation continued. Conservative justices formed the majority, while liberal justices dissented, warning that the court ignored the policy’s constitutionality.

Trump’s birthright citizenship order, signed on his first day back in office, directs federal agencies not to recognize the citizenship of children born in the U.S. to parents who are neither citizens nor lawful permanent residents.

The administration argued that federal judges should not have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions, a legal tool that has historically checked presidential overreach…..

US Army tests Apache helicopter to launch new drone that scout and strike enemy targets

The US Army carried out a key aviation test on February 26 at Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, as part of a wider warfighting experiment announced on March 17.

The event focused on improving the combat power of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter by integrating a next-generation drone system designed to extend battlefield reach while reducing risk to soldiers.

During the test, the Apache fired the ALTIUS-700 medium-range launched effect at multiple targets. This marked a major step in combining crewed helicopters with unmanned systems to improve reconnaissance and strike capability.

The launches were performed under different conditions to reflect real combat situations.

“They accomplished the launches from both a hover and while moving,” said Edgar Castillo, project engineer at YPG. “Hosting this was really good for us and the army.”

The demonstration showed how commanders can send drones ahead of manned aircraft. This allows forces to detect threats earlier and avoid exposing pilots and troops to danger during initial contact.

The Apache and ALTIUS-700 pairing is designed to push sensing and targeting far beyond the helicopter’s onboard systems. Instead of relying only on what the aircraft can see, the drone can scout ahead, relay data, and even assist in targeting.

This approach supports the Army’s shift toward multi-domain operations, where air, land, and networked systems work together as one.

The experiment also tested how command and control, sensors, and weapons can be integrated into a single system. This allows faster decision-making and coordinated strikes across units.

The Army has been steadily testing such concepts across formations. The goal is to create a battlefield where drones and launched effects operate alongside traditional forces to penetrate and defeat advanced enemies…..

GOP House rep urges ouster of John Thune from leadership

Tennessee Republican Rep. John Rose called for the removal of Senate Majority Leader John Thune from leadership on Friday.

“We should call on Thune to step aside,” Rose told Newsmax host Todd Starnes, the TV anchor posted on X.

“We now have a sitting member of Congress officially calling on Majority Leader John Thune to be removed from power,” Starnes wrote.

Earlier on Friday, Rose called out the Senate’s passage of a spending bill that would partially fund the Department of Homeland Security, except for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

“And just like that, while Americans were asleep, Senate Republicans were wide awake tossing the radical Democrats a political lifeline to end the government shutdown without funding ICE and our brave Border Patrol,” Rose posted on X. “Now they’re off to take their recess — getting off the hook from having to vote on the SAVE America Act and fully funding ICE.”

“I’m glad TSA agents will finally get their paycheck. They should NEVER be used as political pawns again. But let me be clear: this shutdown was squarely on the Democrats. They put illegal aliens before Americans, and some Senate Republicans just ran cover for them,” he added.

Rose posted on X on Wednesday, calling out Thune directly, saying, “President Trump is right. @LeaderJohnThune & Senate Republicans should weld the SAVE America Act to must-pass DHS funding. Protect our elections. Secure our homeland. We should do both, not just because Americans overwhelmingly support it, but because it’s the right thing to do. Full stop.”

Florida Democratic U.S. Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick has been found guilty of 25 of 27 ethics charges by a congressional panel.

The three-year probe into charges of stealing millions in federal relief funds, some routed into her congressional campaign, is not over with Friday’s decision by the adjudicatory subcommittee of the Ethics Committee in the House of Representatives.

Next up is a full committee hearing after the two-week recess for Easter.

Chairman Michael Guest, R-Miss., and ranking member Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Calif., in a joint statement said the statement of alleged violations counts 1-15 and 17-26 were found to be “proven by clear and convincing evidence.” Any sanctions will be assessed by the full committee.

Among the options are Cherfilus-McCormick tendering resignation or expulsion. Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., said he would prepare the latter.

Expeling a member of the House takes a two-thirds vote.

Among the accusations is $5 million in FEMA funds paid to her family’s company and transferred to her and others for the congressional campaign.

Cherfilus-McCormick and three others have been indicted, charged not only with routing money to the campaign but also her personal gain.

She and lawyer William Barzee were in a seven-hour hearing open to the public on Thursday. The subcommittee deliberated past midnight.

Trump turns up the heat on DEI in federal contracting

President Donald Trump took aim at diversity, equity and inclusion policies in federal contractors, issuing an executive order focused specifically on the group.

The president has issued more than 225 executive orders during his second term, more than a handful of which have been focused on ending DEI practices in as much of American society as possible. Most of them he signed within his first 100 days, and some, within his first two days in office.

On Jan. 20, 2025, Trump signed an executive order calling for the elimination of all DEI programs and offices within the federal government.

On Jan. 21, he signed another aimed at ending DEI considerations in federal hiring and public and higher education and ordering all federal agencies to use the law to “combat illegal private-sector DEI preferences, mandates, policies,” etc.

In April, he issued another order targeting disparate-impact liability, which applies when a policy disproportionately harms a protected group, even if it isn’t intentionally discriminatory.

He also issued multiple executive orders against high-profile law firms the federal government has often contracted with to “prevent the transfer of taxpayer dollars to Federal contractors whose earnings subsidize, among other things, activities that are not aligned with American interests, including racial discrimination.”

However, this latest executive order goes further in directing all executive departments and agencies to not only sever ties with contractors who practice DEI but to ensure that all “contracts and contract-like instruments” with federal contractors, subcontractors and subcontractors’ subcontractors include promises not to engage in DEI.

The contractors must also promise to provide access to any “books, records, and accounts” that the government seeks to review to ensure their compliance with the order.

The Center Square inquired with the White House as to the specific inspiration for the latest order, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

NHL team to have ‘Cowgays’ sing national anthem on LGBTQ+ night — and the backlash is brutal

The post immediately got negative responses from people objecting to politics being shoehorned into a sports event.

“A team called the Predators with a fan base nicknamed ‘Smashville’ is having a pride night during a game with the Devils, and a band called the ‘Cowgays’ is singing the national anthem. There is so much material here and none of it makes you look good,” former Texas state Rep. Matt Rinaldi responded.

“This isn’t a family-friendly environment. NHL has to stop pushing this radical LGBTQ agenda,” Jon Root of OutKick replied.

“Entirely unnecessary and inappropriate. Have some class, decency and decorum. Have some respect for your customers,” another user said on the X platform.

“I love the predators but I absolutely will never celebrate a sin nor will I ever go to a game where they do celebrate it. May God have mercy on your soul,” another detractor replied.

“Gross. Why associate your brand with bringing sexual experiences to a freaking hockey game?” another post reads. “No hate for gay people but let’s leave all sexual innuendo and celebrations for more appropriate events. This is just weird.”

“GAY PREDATORS! YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS S**T UP!” one insightful critic said.

The team will also raise funds by selling specialty Pride jerseys and auctioning player nameplates. The proceeds will be donated to LGBTQ+ organizations.

The Predators, the Devils, and the National Hockey League did not respond to Blaze News’ request for comment.

The gruesome discovery of the remains of two young girls in suitcases has led to more than two dozen charges for their mother in Cleveland.

The remains were found by a man who was walking his dog in a residential area near a field on March 4.

The man was identified as Phillip Donaldson, who spoke to WEWS-TV about what he witnessed.

“It was like a pile of dirt, and she stopped to sniff, and I usually just walk and she catch up with me, and she was taking too long. So I went back and looked, and it was a suitcase that was half buried, and I pulled it up and looked in it, and it was a head. Somebody’s head in it.”

Donaldson said he was shocked because the location was near a school.

“It’s really sad to see something like this, and I had been walking past that for at least a week — that pile of dirt for at least a week before I even just went across my mind that I would check it,” he added. “Was it buried? Yeah, it was buried pretty much, you could see just the very top of it.”

Police identified the girls’ 28-year-old mother, Aliyah Henderson, as a suspect and arrested her for the murders. In addition to murder, she was charged with kidnapping and abuse of corpses charges.

The children were later identified as 10-year-old Amor Wilson and 8-year-old Mila Chatman. Police said they were half-siblings.

Attorneys appointed for Henderson said she pleaded not guilty at a court hearing Thursday. Henderson is eligible for the death penalty if she’s convicted…

Heroic ICE agent miraculously saves unresponsive child in TSA line

The Department of Homeland Security released footage showing a child going limp in a man’s arms before an ICE agent rushes to help. The agent was able to perform the Heimlich maneuver on the 1-year-old, ultimately restoring the child’s breathing, according to a statement from the DHS.

“At JFK Airport, as travelers waited in hours-long lines, an infant became unresponsive and stopped breathing,” the statement read.

“The panic of the child’s family and nearby passengers were heard by an ICE agent stationed at a checkpoint. This heroic officer immediately sprang into action — rushing toward the cries, taking the child, and performing a Heimlich maneuver that restored the infant’s breathing after nearly two minutes.”

“This officer’s extraordinary bravery embodies the selfless service of DHS law enforcement,” the statement reads.

According to Bill Melugin of Fox News, citing the DHS, the incident occurred Wednesday, and the child made a “full recovery.”

This lifesaving moment comes just days after President Donald Trump deployed ICE agents to assist TSA agents in airports across the country while Democrats drag the DHS shutdown into its sixth week.

Although ICE has been treated as a politically contentious group, countless reporters show travelers thanking agents for stepping up to the plate. Some videos even depict ICE officers handing out water bottles while travelers wait in unprecedented TSA lines….

Globalist State-Sanctioned Suicide: Spain to Euthanize 25-Year-Old Gang-Rape Victim Abandoned in Migrant-Filled Juvenile Center

Noelia Castillo Ramos via X.

The procedure, approved under the country’s 2021 euthanasia law, follows years of severe physical and mental trauma that Noelia Castillo Ramos suffered after being gang-raped as a minor by a group of unaccompanied foreign minors while she was housed in a state-run juvenile center, the Spanish newspaper La Gaceta reported.

Rather than safeguarding vulnerable citizens, authorities appear to have enabled the very suffering they now propose to “resolve” through assisted death.

Ramos was born into a deeply dysfunctional family and spent much of her childhood and adolescence shuttled between children’s homes, a common outcome of Spain’s broken foster system.

As a teenager in one such facility, she became the victim of a brutal gang rape carried out by a group of unaccompanied foreign minors—often referred to as MENAs—whose presence in these centers has repeatedly raised alarms among conservative voices.

The assault left indelible scars, both physical and psychological, setting the stage for a cascade of tragedies that the state has done little to prevent.

In 2022, overwhelmed by the horror of what happened, Ramos attempted suicide by leaping from a fifth-floor window.

The fall caused irreversible spinal cord damage, rendering her paraplegic and entirely dependent on others for even the most basic daily tasks.

Chronic, excruciating pain has since defined her existence, compounded by profound mental anguish that Spanish authorities have deemed sufficient grounds for euthanasia under the expanded category of “severe mental suffering.”…

Senate approves funding for TSA and most of Homeland Security, but not immigration enforcement

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D.

The deal, which the Senate approved unanimously without a roll call, next goes to the House, which is expected to consider it Friday.

“We can get at least a lot of the government opened up again and then we’ll go from there,” said Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D. “Obviously, we’ll still have some work ahead of us.”

With pressure mounting to resolve the 42-day stalemate over funding for the Department of Homeland Security, the endgame emerged in the final hours before TSA workers miss another paycheck Friday.

President Donald Trump said he would sign an order to immediately pay the TSA agents, saying he wanted to quickly stop the “Chaos at the Airports.” The deal did not include any of the restraints Democrats have demanded as they sought to rein in Trump’s mass deportation agenda.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said the outcome could have been reached weeks ago, and vowed that his party would continue fighting to ensure Trump’s “rogue” immigration operation “does not get more funding without serious reform.”

What’s in and out of the funding package.

Senators worked through the night on the deal that would fund much of the rest of the department, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Coast Guard and TSA, but without funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Customs was funded, but Border Protection was not.

The package puts no new limits on immigration enforcement, which has remained largely uninterrupted by the shutdown. The GOP’s big tax cuts bill that Trump signed into law last year funneled billions in extra funds to DHS, including $75 billion for ICE operations, ensuring the immigration officers are still being paid despite the lapse.

Next steps in the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., holds a slim majority, are uncertain. Passage will almost certainly require bipartisan support, as lawmakers on the left and right flanks revolt…..

Former Dolton, Illinois ‘super mayor’ pushes for federal troops in Chicago after father shot in neck

Tiffany Henyard,
Tiffany Henyard

Former Dolton Mayor and Thornton Township supervisor Tiffany Henyard urged Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson to accept federal assistance to help clean up crime, noting in a statement that her father had become a gun violence victim.

Henyard opened her statement by calling herself “SuperMayor Tiffany A. Henyard.”

“Yes, it is true, my family has been directly affected by the senseless gun violence that continues to plague Illinois. Yesterday, my father, my hero was an innocent victim of this random and heartbreaking violence,” she noted in a statement shared on social media on Thursday.

“At this time, I am calling on Governor JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson to seriously reconsider federal assistance from President Donald J. Trump to help address this crisis and better protect the residents of Illinois, particularly in Chicago,” she noted in the statement. “Across the country, communities that have welcomed federal support have experienced measurable reductions in crime. Cities such as Memphis, Tennessee; Washington, D.C. and New Orleans, Louisiana during the 2026 Mardi Gras period have all seen positive outcomes through collaboration efforts.”

President Donald Trump notably deployed the National Guard to all three cities as part of federal intervention geared toward crime reduction and public safety.

Henyard said the residents of Illinois “deserve to feel safe in their homes and neighborhoods,” adding that the “difference between Illinois and those other states is simple, their leadership chose collaboration, and that collaboration produces results.”…
