Nolte: ICE to Receive Gloves that Deliver Electric Shock to De-Escalate Confrontations
They are called G.L.O.V.E., or Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, and work like a Taser. If someone becomes any kind of physical threat to the officer or chooses to become physically combative rather than comply, the G.L.O.V.E. delivers a shock.
“ICE plans to spend up to $20 million to purchase thousands of ‘conductive distraction and de-escalation devices’ for officers and agents by March,” reports the far-left Associated Press.
“Compliant Technologies says the devices function as a normal pair of patrol gloves until officers press a switch to activate their electrical mode,” adds the AP. “The gloves must be applied directly to someone’s skin to deliver a pain stimulus that typically helps an officer gain compliance within seconds, according to the company.”
“It’s immediate and sharp, and it will distract you. I call it like a bee sting,” John Peters, who has studied the device, told the AP. “If the officer is getting any type of resistance from the person, this is certainly an effective tool.”
“For smaller officers or weaker officers or older officers, I think it has a great advantage,” he added.
Naturally, people who oppose ICE also oppose the use of these gloves, and it is not hard to understand why.
If an ICE officer can de-escalate a confrontation using electric shock (as tasers do), that’s an alternative to deadly force.
But it seems to me that those who oppose the arrest and deportation of illegal aliens (including rapists, child traffickers, and drug dealers) know that a deadly shooting furthers their political agenda, so they want as many deadly shootings as possible.
They don’t seem to care how many protesters or illegal aliens are killed.
That’s why Democrats and corrupt media outlets like CNN generate so much hate towards ICE. They want confrontations. I think they want death.

Bystander shot dead after intervening in man, woman’s roadside fight; murder suspect was out on bond
A Florida man was shot dead after intervening in a roadside fight between a man and woman following a car crash — allegedly at the hands of a suspect who was already out on bond in a separate aggravated assault case involving a deadly weapon.
Raul Lionel Vazquez, 26, has been charged with the second-degree murder of 56-year-old Daryl Alexander Hill, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.
At 8:27 a.m. on Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies responded to an intersection in Apopka, a town northwest of Orlando, and found Hill lying face down with a gunshot wound, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital.
Hill, who leaves behind a wife and a 10-year-old daughter, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:20 a.m., the affidavit said.
Before Hill was shot, Vazquez and a woman, Kaidy Honaker, were seen by multiple witnesses fighting inside their white Chevy Silverado pickup truck when it crashed into a black Lexus, according to the affidavit.
The two continued their heated altercation on the sidewalk.
Vazquez, who was seen shirtless and wearing no shoes, got in Honaker’s face and appeared to be yelling and pointing at her, the affidavit said.
Two witnesses said they saw Hill riding a bicycle nearby and told authorities that he got involved in the argument, which led to Vazquez and Hill tackling each other into the bushes, per the affidavit.
According to the affidavit, Honaker joined the fight as well, later saying she did so to pull Hill off Vazquez.
After the fight in the bushes, Hill began running away from Vazquez and Honaker, yelling “help” with his hands in the air, the affidavit said.
Vazquez retrieved what was later determined to be a shotgun from his pickup truck and fired one round, hitting Hill and causing him to fall to the ground, according to the affidavit….
At the time of the shooting, Vazquez was out on bond for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The Apopka Police Department investigated that case, which involved Vazquez and an accomplice allegedly threatening someone with a gun on Nov. 13, 2025, according to court records obtained by Fox News Digital.
Vazquez was also arrested in March 2025 for a domestic violence incident that allegedly involved strangling someone, per court records.
He pleaded not guilty and his bond was later discharged….
ICE asks Kentucky officials to hold previously deported man charged with rape while working as landlord
Federal immigration officials are asking a Kentucky jail to hold an illegal immigrant charged with rape, human trafficking and sexual abuse while working as a landlord, so he can be taken into custody for deportation proceedings.
Rolando Cenobio Vasquez, a Mexican citizen, was arrested on July 29 by Louisville police, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said.
Vasquez had been renting out a room to a mother and her 15-year-old daughter when he began abusing the teenager in December 2025, authorities said.
“ICE has lodged a detainer asking officials in Louisville, Kentucky to not release this criminal from jail, and to hand him over to ICE custody so he can be removed from our country,” a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said.
Vasquez allegedly threatened the mother and child, but occasionally offered the teenager money to keep quiet about the sexual abuse, authorities said.
He is charged with three counts of rape, three counts of sodomy, human trafficking, promoting human trafficking with a victim under 18 and sexual abuse.
Vasquez’s criminal history includes a prior conviction for driving under the influence of liquor. ICE lodged a detainer with the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections the same day he was arrested.
Feds bust one of largest alleged marriage fraud schemes in US history involving 1,000-plus Chinese sham unions
Nearly a dozen people tied to a decade-long marriage fraud network allegedly involving more than 1,000 sham unions face federal charges related to a scheme that charged Chinese nationals up to $100,000 to participate in fake marriages to U.S. citizens in an effort to secure green cards, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.
A federal indictment unsealed in New York City names 11 defendants — all naturalized U.S. citizens from China and one green card holder — for their roles in the marriage and immigration fraud scheme.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit marriage fraud, immigration document fraud and conspiracy to encourage the unlawful residence of aliens in the United States, the Justice Department said.
The indictment is one of the largest marriage fraud prosecutions in the U.S., authorities said.
“This scheme was not a quick fly-by-night operation, but rather a years-long, multimillion-dollar cottage industry to criminally assist people who would not, or legally could not, otherwise become citizens of the United States,” U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters at a news conference Wednesday.
Some of the defendants worked as facilitators, recruiters and officiants, authorities said.

DoorDash mom left with skull fractures, brain bleeds after man allegedly follows her and attacks with bat
“I had multiple skull fractures and brain bleeds,” said Christen Phillips.
She’s a mother of three currently recovering in the hospital with a serious brain injury after deputies say she was attacked by a man who beat her with a baseball bat as she was delivering food for DoorDash.
Her suspected attacker, Stanley Shockley, 44, is behind bars.
It all started on Aug. 1 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, as Phillips was stopped in her car at an intersection and was waiting for the driver in front of her to move.
Shockley was reportedly behind the wheel when Phillips honked her horn alerting him to move his car forward.
After the honk, the situation took a dangerous turn.
The sheriff’s office said, “The vehicle moved out of her way and began following her.”
Phillips arrived at her delivery drop-off point, carried out the order, and tried to walk back to her car when Shockley allegedly jumped out, attacked her with the bat, then ran off.
“He came around to my door with a small wooden bat or baton and beat me in the head and face with it,” Phillips said in a post to social media….

The developments underscore a growing battle at sea:
Ukraine is hitting one of Russia’s most important Black Sea naval and export hubs, while Moscow is warning it could seize European vessels and flexing its naval power in the Pacific.
Though the events are not directly linked, they show how the war is increasingly extending beyond the front lines into strategic ports and international shipping routes.
Ukraine hammered the port city of Novorossiysk in a massive overnight drone attack that put two major grain terminals out of operation, according to Russian industry sources cited by Reuters Aug. 12.
Novorossiysk is a major Black Sea export hub and also serves as a base for Russian warships that Moscow relocated there after repeated Ukrainian attacks on its Black Sea Fleet in Crimea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed responsibility Wednesday morning for an operation targeting the Novorossiysk naval base, calling it “the last major stronghold of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.”
In a post on X, Zelenskyy said Ukraine used Palianytsia jet-powered drones, Neptune missiles and unmanned naval systems and claimed hits on air-defense positions, piers and port infrastructure.
3 found dead, including child, inside Hopkins home daycare, police say
Police in Hopkins, Minnesota, say three people were found dead inside a residential daycare Wednesday morning. Preliminarily, they believe a man took his own life after killing a woman and child.
Officers responded to a reported stabbing at the home on the 200 block of Tyler Avenue North around 9 a.m., the Hopkins Police Department said.
Police say there were seven children at the daycare at the time, and it’s unclear if the deceased child is part of that count.
All of the children have been reunified with their parents and were unharmed, according to police.
The department called the incident a “domestic-related homicide” and said “there are no outstanding suspects and no ongoing threat to the public.”
Police plan to share more information at a 4 p.m. news conference.
“This is an extremely tragic event for our community,” the department said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by this devastating incident.” ..

Indicted For Fraud, The SPLC Is Flailing And Losing In Court
After the Southern Poverty Law Center was indicted in April on allegations that it lied to banks and created accounts for fake businesses to pay informants (and buy them Klan robes and crosses to burn), the organization hired Democrat fixer and Hunter Biden lawyer Abbe Lowell to fire up a theatrical victimhood defense:

Legacy media journalists, being stupid and dishonest, have generally babbled along with that nonsense story like a choir of toddlers following a conductor.
The Federalist, discussing the charges with people who understand anti-money laundering laws, has been reporting since the indictment that the charges were serious, and the SPLC’s theatrically loud defenses were mostly pretty silly.
The SPLC has due process rights and is entitled to a presumption of innocence, but their defense so far has been a media campaign and an attempt to distract, not an effort to address the substance of the allegations.
In May, in one of many pre-trial legal maneuvers, the SPLC filed a motion to dismiss the charges as the product of vindictive prosecution.
Activist groups piled in to support the organization, filing amicus briefs arguing that brave leftists were being unfairly prosecuted by an administration made up of mean right-wingers.
But The Federalist said this about the motion:
“Though Lowell and the SPLC’s other lawyers are speaking with the expected dramatic language about politics and meanness, the legal argument will be hard to win.”
It was.
On Friday, a federal judge in Alabama rejected the SPLC’s motion to dismiss the charges.

The judge wasn’t impressed.
“The parties’ briefing is, like much of our modern political discourse, heavy on heated rhetoric, better suited for cable news, or a podcast,” Marks wrote. “It emphasizes noise over substance.” She just described Abbe Lowell’s entire adult life, by the way.
Searching through the dramatic language of the briefs, the judge couldn’t find the legal argument and the evidence to support it. The SPLC, she wrote, “has failed to offer some evidence tending to show animus on the part of the prosecutors involved in bringing this case.”
A jury trial is scheduled to begin on October 5.
ICE slams Long Island judge who let once-deported illegal immigrant walk out of court after 4th DWI conviction
Federal immigration officials tore into a Suffolk County judge for allowing a once-deported illegal immigrant to remain free after his fourth felony drunk driving conviction.
A rep for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement told The Post Judge Bryan Browns blew it when he ignored prosecutors and allowed Salvadoran national Pablo Aguilar-Alvarez, 36, to walk away without bail Friday.
He’s considered a flight risk as he’s due back in court for sentencing in two months, when he faces up to seven years in prison.
“The county judge should focus on public safety, not making excuses for refusing to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement,” a spokesperson for the federal agency said. “ICE will do everything in its power to find, detain, and remove this criminal illegal alien from American communities.
“Our message is clear: If you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, arrest you, and you will never return,” the flak said. “Under President Trump and [Homeland Security] Secretary [Markwayne] Mullin, criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the United States.”
Aguilar-Alvarez, whose string of felony drunk driving convictions date to 2017, was deported in March 2024 after his third felony DWI conviction for a June 2022 arrest, prosecutors said.
At some point, he snuck back into the US, authorities said.
He was arrested again in November after his panicked gal pal called cops from a Southampton gas station where he pulled over to pick up more booze, Suffolk County prosecutors said Monday.
Southampton cops pulled him over after he was spotted blowing through a stop sign and driving across the double yellow line on the road, and hit him with his fourth drunk driving charge in 10 years.
Prosecutors said Aguilar-Alvarez also had a misdemeanor DUI in 2012…
D.C. Circuit Overturns Block On Trump’s Speedy Deportations Of Paroled Migrants

A federal appellate court handed the Trump administration a win on Tuesday in its bid to fast-track the deportation of paroled foreign nationals brought in the United States by former President Biden.
In its per curiam ruling, a three-judge panel for the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a lower court blockade against the Department of Homeland Security’s directives suggesting officials use expedited removal to speedily deport migrants.
The decision throws out an August 2025 ruling by Biden-appointed District Judge Jia Cobb, who claimed that the migrants “played by the rules” and the federal government subsequently “changed the game.”
The D.C. Circuit panel was comprised of Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan, an Obama appointee, and Judges Neomi Rao and Justin Walker, both Trump appointees.
According to The Washington Times, paroling foreign nationals into the country “became a loophole to the usual border controls” under the Biden administration. The Democrat president reportedly allowed in “Afghans, Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, Ukrainians and Venezuelans who flew into the U.S., plus a large swath of other migrants who reached the U.S.-Mexico border and preregistered their arrival.”
A former immigration judge told the outlet that the prior administration paroled an estimated 2.9 million migrants during its four years in power.
In its Tuesday decision, the D.C. Circuit held that the plaintiffs suing the Trump administration over its bid to expeditiously remove the migrants lacked standing to challenge the government’s directives. There were no noted dissents.
“Plaintiffs cannot seek relief that changes nothing for them. The plaintiffs here tried to do just that. So we vacate the stay issued by the district court,” the court ruled….
