Father demands accountability after he learns of son’s torturous death in prison just before release
A warden at Staton Correctional Facility reportedly told Taylor Bostic, Daniel’s stepmother, that he had been hospitalized due to a drug overdose on Oct. 22 when she called to get more information.
She and her husband Terry were reportedly shocked at Daniel’s condition when they arrived at the hospital and recalled the non-answer they received after the young man died.
“He was black and blue from head to toe. He had restraint marks on his wrists. He had indents, almost, in his head from being beaten,” Bostic said. “So, my husband, Terry, called the warden and said, ‘Why the hell…did you tell me my son died of an overdose when it was obviously an assault?’ And the warden said it’s under investigation, and that’s all we’ve heard from them since.”

Czech news crew covering APEC in San Francisco robbed, reports say
The San Francisco Police Department confirmed to KTVU FOX 2 it is investigating an armed robbery of a production team in the area of Broadway and Columbus Avenue.
Officers told the media outlet a vehicle stopped on the street, three armed men exited the car and approached the group prior to demanding their production equipment. The news crew complied, reportedly losing more than $18,000 worth of equipment and footage from a day wandering the Golden City.
The suspects then got back in their vehicle and took off.

IDF announces death in captivity of Cpl. Noa Marciano, soldier shown in Hamas video
Marciano, 19, of the Combat Intelligence Collection Corps 414th unit, was serving on the Nahal Oz IDF base when it was overrun by terrorists during their murderous onslaught on southern Israel. She lived in Modiin and was the oldest of three siblings.
On Monday evening, Hamas published a propaganda video of Marciano, showing her speaking to the camera four days after being taken hostage, identifying herself and reciting the names of her parents and her hometown.
The video then cut to showing her dead body.

Inside the hospital, Hagari showed a cache of Hamas weapons found in the hospital. “This kind of gear is gear for a major fight. These are explosives,” Hagari said, noting that the dangerous items were stored among patients and children.
In addition, Hagari showed evidence that Israeli hostages were likely held in the hospital basement: a motorcycle riddled with bullets; a chair with a rope, women’s clothes, and a baby bottle; and an improvised toilet, along with diapers.
(Hamas is known to hold at least 30 child hostages, including several infants.)
