Although recent reports have highlighted testing challenges linked to the aging B-52 bomber fleet, the missile itself continues to progress through development as the U.S. Air Force prepares to field one of its first new nuclear cruise missiles in more than 40 years.
The AGM-86B ALCM entered service during the Cold War in the early 1980s.
While multiple life-extension programs have kept the missile operational far beyond its original service life, the strategic environment has changed dramatically since then.
Modern integrated air defense systems fielded by countries such as Russia and China combine advanced radars, long-range surface-to-air missiles, electronic warfare systems, and networked sensors, making it increasingly difficult for older weapons to penetrate defended airspace.
As a result, the Air Force concluded that simply extending the AGM-86B’s service life would no longer provide a credible long-term deterrent.
The AGM-181A LRSO has therefore been designed as an entirely new weapon rather than an upgraded ALCM.
Although many of its capabilities remain classified, defense officials have indicated that the missile incorporates significantly improved survivability, modern navigation systems, greater resistance to electronic warfare, and low-observable features intended to reduce the likelihood of detection by advanced air-defense networks.
The missile will carry the W80-4 thermonuclear warhead, itself a modernized version of the long-serving W80 family, which is currently used by the AGM-86B….
A Growing Hostility Toward Jesus’ Return… From The Church?
I recently received an email from a woman who detailed how her church has become hostile to those of us anticipating Jesus’ return. Mockers were predicted to emerge in the last days, but it is still hurtful.
Scoffers increase every year as we get closer to Christ’s return—despite the signs of the times exploding, which should serve as a wake-up call for how late the hour is.
The email I received also described denigrating names that were being given to people like her who were looking up, awaiting Jesus’ return—names like “End Times Eddie,” “Apocalyptic Anita,” or “Doom and Gloom June.”
I wish I were making this up! This is just one more church saying, “Come Lord Jesus… but not too soon.”
Her church went on to teach that we can experience “heaven on earth” right now—and if that’s the case, why be in such a hurry to be raptured out? Are you kidding?
With rampant crime and lawlessness, 20 active hot wars, birth pangs causing death and destruction, broken marriages, and teens out of control, this is apparently “heaven on earth”?
The Bible is clear: until all things are made new, all things will remain broken. There can simply be no heaven on earth until Jesus reigns; the idea that it can is driven by “Kingdom Now” theology known as “dominionism.”
Let’s be honest, Earth is a sinking Titanic. It is ripe for judgment. No amount of wishful thinking can make it a Garden of Eden.
Slumbering preachers and sleepy saints need to wake up and realize that Earth has an expiration date, and we are racing towards it.
They also need to get excited about the fact that the King is coming to deliver His saints out of it.
Our assignment on this earth is not to continually improve it, making renovations to usher in Christ’s kingdom.
While the Holy Spirit operates through the church to restrain the evil of our day, we know where this world is headed. That is why many are looking for the true rescue known as the “Blessed Hope,” the Rapture of believers, out of this Titanic.
We aren’t relying on the United Nations to rescue us or a false theology like “Kingdom Now.” We are waiting for a trumpet and a shout (1 Thessalonians 4). I’m proud to be among this crowd, no matter what name they want to call me—and I think you should flee from any church that seems to be teaching: “Come Lord Jesus… but not too soon.”

Trump Administration Cracks Down on Schools Shielding Pedophile Teachers
The Department of Education is cracking down on schools that fail to protect students from child predators.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon sent a Dear Colleague letter to schools on Friday warning that too many districts have not done enough to shield students from abuse and harassment by teachers and others in positions of power.
The letter details a nationwide trend in which schools ignore credible complaints, protect staff members over children, and even move accused abusers to new jobs.
“The Department has observed a troubling and recurring pattern in schools across the Nation of credible reports of sexual abuse and harassment by adults in positions of authority going uninvestigated, institutional cultures that protect employees over students, and administrative indifference that allows predatory conduct to fester,” the letter reads.
McMahon pointed to older research showing how pervasive the problem has become.
The letter referred to one study showing that nearly one in ten students in grades eight through eleven reported sexual misconduct by educators.
“In any other setting where one in 10 children were subject to sexual misconduct, there would be a national outcry,” she wrote.
The secretary went on to explain that schools risk losing funding if they do not address this issue.
Under the Every Student Succeeds Act, schools cannot help employees with known sexual misconduct from obtaining new positions in a district….
Trump Administration Cracks Down on Banks Lending To Illegal Aliens
The Trump administration on Monday announced sweeping new banking rules aimed at cracking down on lending to illegal immigrants, requiring lenders to consider that borrowers without legal work authorization may pose “elevated credit risk,” a move that supporters say could improve housing affordability for Americans.
The rules require banks and credit unions to account for the possibility that an illegal immigrant borrower could lose his job, be unable to find lawful work, or be removed from the country before repaying a mortgage, auto loan, credit-card balance, or other debt.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the National Credit Union Administration issued the joint guidance under President Donald Trump’s May executive order, “Restoring Integrity to America’s Financial System.”
The agencies urged banks to take in account that illegal immigrants may pose increased risks. Banks were told to identify, measure, and control those risks through their underwriting and loan-monitoring systems.
The new rules make immigration enforcement part of ordinary bank lending decisions.
A loan supported by income from unauthorized employment must now be evaluated in light of the U.S. government’s efforts to expand workplace enforcement and removals
The approach resembles the “transition risk” framework regulators previously applied to climate policy.
Banks were expected to consider whether future government action or changing consumer preferences could weaken a borrower or strand an asset.
Here, the transition risk is immigration enforcement and the possibility that a borrower’s income disappears before a loan is repaid.
Banks were also told to examine their exposure to industries, employers, and geographic regions that could be disproportionately affected by the prevalence of illegal immigrants.
A bank with a large concentration of such borrowers could suffer what the agencies called “correlated credit deterioration,” with many loans weakening at once.
Regulators said banks may identify signs of credit weakness in loans to borrowers without work authorization even when payments remain current.
The likely result is tighter credit for illegal immigrants. Banks could demand larger down payments and charge higher rates—or completely reject loan applications—when repayment depends on income from unauthorized work….
Trump birthright citizenship fight comes roaring back with ‘invaders’ play after Kavanaugh roadmap
Sen. Jim Banks will introduce legislation Monday aimed at ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and birth tourists by defining them as children of “invaders” under federal law after a Supreme Court ruling last month dealt a setback to President Donald Trump’s executive order on the issue.
Trump recently urged Senate Republicans to move faster on his legislative agenda, including ending birthright citizenship, telling them they were “not fighting hard enough,” Banks, R-Ind., recalled in a June 30 interview with Human Events.
Banks told Fox News Digital he plans to introduce the Citizenship Act as soon as the Senate opens for business Monday afternoon – crafting it with a nod to Trump-appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s concurrence in last month’s Trump v. Barbara case.
The Citizenship Act would declare that children of statutory “invaders” are not entitled to birthright citizenship under the law and codify a 2025 executive order that cites the term.
In its summary, Banks’ bill declares “any person who enters the United States without authorization or for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism is considered an invader…” and amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to exclude children of such “invaders.”
Banks’ key use of “invaders” cites Trump’s executive order declaring illegal immigration across the southern border an “invasion,” while the bill notes the Barbara decision leaves that avenue open for Congress to crack down on.
Without touching the constitutional amendment process or attempting to overturn any court ruling, the Citizenship Act will codify Trump’s declaration of “invasion” and amend federal law to revoke birthright citizenship from children of illegal immigrants under exceptions listed in the same case the Barbara ruling’s majority used as its precedent….
ICE fatally shoots driver in Maine after he tried to mow down agents: authorities
A driver was shot dead Monday while trying to mow down Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Maine, according to authorities.
Graphic footage on social media shows a man lying by the side of the road near a car, with a bullet hole visible through the driver’s side of the front windshield following the incident in Biddeford just after 7:15 a.m., the Portland Press Herald reported.
The unidentified driver reportedly accelerated at ICE agents at an intersection in the small town before the officers shot him dead, eyewitnesses said.
Officers in green vests surrounded a car and drew their weapons at the driver, who appeared to drive directly at the agents, witness Lucas Scott, 18, said.
“The car was put into drive and was trying to hit the ICE officer,” Scott said, adding that the agent fired roughly four shots in response.
“I just heard the popping, but I did see him draw his gun,” Scott said.
Another witness described seeing the driver get out of the car, bleeding profusely from his head.
“He said, ‘I tried to stop,’” nearby resident Daniel Boucher said.
Details on the fatal shooting are still coming through, although locals reported seeing an increase in ICE activity in Biddeford in recent weeks.
“They chased down a bunch of guys working on a roof down the street a week or two ago. They all ran. I saw one guy jump off the roof to get away. They left all their equipment on top of the roof,” Biddeford resident Larry Humiston told the Portland Press Herald.

Meta’s $50B Louisiana AI Fortress Lands 20-Year Tax Holiday
Mark Zuckerberg is building a 5-gigawatt AI supercluster in rural Louisiana — enough compute power to train the most advanced algorithms on earth — and the state’s Republican governor just handed him a 20-year tax holiday to do it.
The price tag for Meta’s “Hyperion” data center in Richland Parish has ballooned from $10 billion when first announced to $27 billion last October to over $50 billion today, making it one of the largest private infrastructure projects in American history.
The stated purpose is artificial intelligence. The practical effect is concentrating unprecedented algorithmic power in the hands of a company that has spent years suppressing speech it doesn’t like — and getting state government to subsidize the buildout.
Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry signed a 20-year sales tax exemption for data centers built before 2029 as part of the effort to court Meta, CNBC reported.
“I’m a business guy,” Landry told CNBC. “What we know is when you look at the overall comprehensive package here, it’s in the black. For local government, and the state, and how you get to the bottom line is irrespective to me.”
A Republican governor cutting a two-decade tax break for a platform that censors conservatives — that’s the bipartisan sellout in a single frame.
The project does deliver locally.
Fox Business reported that teachers in Richland Parish — a rural community of roughly 20,000 — saw annual bonuses surge from $10,000 to over $50,000 thanks to tax revenue tied to the data center.
Superintendent Sheldon Jones called it “life-altering for our teachers and their families.”
Meta says local businesses have received more than $1.6 billion in contracts since December 2024, and the company is spending over $1 billion on roads, water, and wastewater systems.
A $5 million donation to Louisiana Delta Community College will fund full scholarships for data center trade programs for all Richland Parish high school graduates starting in 2026.

Naked man tries to kidnap 7-year-old tourist from mother at Portland park, bystanders intervene
A naked man was arrested over the weekend in Portland, Oregon, after he attempted to kidnap a 7-year-old girl from her mother at a waterfront park, according to police.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, Portland Police received reports of a naked man running around Tom McCall Waterfront Park, with one of the callers saying the man had attempted to punch them in the head.
But police said all officers were busy responding to other calls and were not available at the time.
About 12 minutes later, another caller reported that the suspect had grabbed a young girl and attempted to pull her away from her mother.
Officers then responded to the scene and found the nude suspect swimming nearby in the Willamette River.
The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Daniel Vasey, was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of first and second-degree attempted kidnapping, first-degree custodial interference, third-degree assault and harassment.
Police said the 7-year-old girl was not seriously injured. She was checked by paramedics at the scene and treated for scratches, but she was not transported by ambulance to a hospital.
An investigation revealed that Vasey grabbed the girl’s arm and that her parents and bystanders stepped in to prevent him from taking her, police said.
The girl’s mother grabbed her other arm and tried to prevent Vasey from taking her daughter, and the struggle over the girl was so significant that she was lifted off the ground.
The child’s father and bystanders also jumped in and punched, slapped and pulled on the suspect, causing him to release the girl.
One bystander used pepper spray on him in an effort to keep him away from people.
The young girl and her family told officers that they were tourists visiting Portland from out of state.

Teen murder suspect stomped to death and filmed dying in Mississippi jail: coroner
A teen murder suspect was found stomped to death in a Mississippi jail — with a harrowing video capturing him limp and bloodied on the floor.
Mielun Butler, 18, was booked in the Hinds County Detention Center on July 1 on a murder charge for the fatal shooting of Melvin Edwards, 32, at the notoriously dangerous Pine Ridge Garden Apartments in Jackson last month.
Just two days later, on the morning of July 3, a disturbing video circulated on social media of a person kicking Butler’s limp and bloodied body as he lay on the floor of the Raymond jail.
An autopsy later confirmed he died from blunt force trauma to the head, with evidence showing he had been stomped to death, WAPT reported.
“It appeared he had shoe prints all over his head,” Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard told Mississippi Today.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones confirmed the authenticity of the gory video and said an unidentified detention officer who was on patrol at the time of the killing had been placed on leave with pay this week while the incident remains under investigation.
Jones ceded operational control of the jail to Wendell France, a court-appointed federal receiver, in October.
A federal judge will be holding a court hearing on Friday to discuss conditions at the jail.
Butler died the same day that a Hinds County Chancery Court judge ordered the sheriff’s office to hand over jail death records that it had withheld from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
The sheriff said he believed the teenager’s killing could be gang-related.
“I think it’s no secret that some of the violence that we have been witnessing in our community has eventually spilled over into the jail,” Jones said. “We believe there may be a strong connection.”
Butler was the second man arrested and charged in connection with Edwards’ death.

Trump Backs Lindsey Graham’s Sister For Senate Seat
President Donald Trump has recommended that South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster appoint Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, as the state’s interim U.S. senator following the lawmaker’s death, reported by CNN.
In a Truth Social post, Trump described the appointment as a fitting tribute to Graham, noting his close relationship with his sister. According to the report, Graham became Nordone’s legal guardian in his early 20s after both their parents died within 15 months.
Under South Carolina law, the governor can appoint a temporary replacement.
However, because Graham was seeking reelection this year, the state will also hold a rapid primary election to choose a Republican nominee for the November ballot, the report said.
Which Gadgets Are Becoming More Expensive Because Of AI
The artificial intelligence boom is driving up prices for laptops, tablets and gaming consoles as soaring demand for memory chips strains global supply, reported by CNN.
According to the report, data centers require large volumes of memory, leaving chipmakers such as Micron, Samsung and SK Hynix unable to meet demand from both AI infrastructure and consumer electronics.
The shortage has pushed up prices for products from Apple, Microsoft, Nintendo and other manufacturers, with analysts expecting supply constraints to continue until at least 2028.
The report said laptops, game consoles and tablets have been hit hardest, while devices such as smartwatches and wireless earbuds remain less affected.
Analysts also expect global PC and smartphone sales to weaken as higher prices discourage buyers.
Experts advise consumers to consider purchasing devices sooner if they already plan to upgrade, explore certified refurbished products, or replace batteries instead of buying new devices.
They said memory prices are unlikely to return to previous levels anytime soon.
States Launch Antitrust Challenge Against Paramount Deal
Acoalition of 12 U.S. states has filed an antitrust lawsuit seeking to block Paramount’s proposed takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, arguing the deal would reduce competition across the media industry, reported by CNN.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta said the merger could result in higher prices, fewer entertainment choices and lower-quality content for consumers. According to the lawsuit, the deal would weaken competition in blockbuster film distribution, theatrical releases and cable channel licensing.
Paramount rejected the allegations, maintaining that the merger is lawful and would strengthen competition against major global streaming and technology companies.
The company also noted that the U.S. Department of Justice and regulators in other markets have already approved the transaction.
The report said the lawsuit reflects growing efforts by state attorneys general to challenge mergers despite federal approval.
Critics have also questioned the Justice Department’s approval, citing concerns over Paramount’s ties to President Donald Trump’s administration.
Paramount has said it remains committed to completing the merger this summer.
