Audrey Hale Manifesto Being Reviewed for Public Release
The writings and so-called manifesto of the Nashville, Tennessee Christian school shooter, Audrey Hale, are being reviewed for release to the public, Metro Nashville Police Department officials told The Epoch Times on Thursday.
โWe are in the process of going through the writings so that they can and will be released publicly,โ MNPD Public Affairs Officer Kristin Mumford told The Epoch Times in a phone call. โThe FBI is assisting because they have the expertise in this area, but we are the lead, and the release will come through us.โ
Mumford added currently there is no timeline for this review, but that the materials left by Hale will be made available to the public.
The announcement that the writings of Hale are being reviewed for public release comes after many officials have called for its release.
On Tuesday, the chairman of the Tennessee House Republican Caucus, Rep. Jeremy Faison, joined a growing list of officials calling for the writings and manifesto to be released. He argued the release was โnecessaryโ for lawmakers to review prior to debating gun issues in an upcoming special session focused on public safety.
Train derails near Mississippi River in Wisconsin
โBNSF Railway can confirm that a train derailed near De Soto, Wisconsin (approximately 30 miles south of La Crosse) on April 27, at approximately 12:15 pm local time,โ a BNSF representative told American Military News in an email.
โTwo of the three locomotives and an unknown number of cars carrying freight of all kinds are reported to be derailed on the bluff side of the Mississippi River,โ the email continued. โThe main track is blocked in both directions and an estimated time for reopening the track is not available. Crew members are accounted for, with one receiving medical evaluation. Local first responders are on-site. BNSF has personnel en route to the scene and the cause of the incident is under investigation.โ

Tucker Carlson Releases Video: Hints at Fox’s Dishonesty
While never accusing Fox of spreading lies, Carlson’s video comes after Fox’s sister company, SkyNews Australia, aired a scathing news editorial attacking him personally.
The SkyNews anchor said Carlson was “sacked essentially for thinking that he was bigger than Fox News” and accused him of spreading conspiracy theories.
Some industry insiders have speculated that his Fox agreement likely prevents him from working for another media company while continuing to be paid by the network.
Consistent with industry practice, his agreement probably includes non-disparagement provisions that prevent him from criticizing Fox News in any way.

After being silent for over 48 hours after it was announced he would be parting ways with Fox News, Tucker Carlson broke his silence in a new video he posted on Twitter on Wednesday night.
In the video, Carlson made no mention of Fox News but he did take some silent jabs towards the network.
He started the video by saying it was heartening to see all of the genuine support he received from his millions of supporters.
Apparently, the FOX Corp brass is fearful that their former star host may decide to spill the beans on his former employer.

While U.S. authorities have been overwhelmed and understaffed, on the Mexican side, INM agents have been at the camp while migrants have been crossing but stood by and have not interfered with the crossings.
As Breitbart Texas reported, INM has been plagued with allegations of corruption. Most recently, the agencyโs commissioner and several agents become the target of an investigation in connection with a deadly fire in Ciudad Juarez where 40 migrants died and dozens sustained injuries.

Recession fears grow as US economy slows sharply in first quarter
Thursdayโs estimate from the Commerce Department showed that the nationโs gross domestic product โ the broadest gauge of economic output โ weakened after growing 3.2% from July through September and 2.6% from October through December.
But consumer spending, which accounts for about 70% of U.S. economic activity, remained resilient, growing at a 3.7% annual pace, the fastest such rate in nearly two years. Spending on goods, in particular, was solid: It rose at its fastest pace since the second quarter of 2021.
Economists had been expecting overall GDP to grow at a 1.9% pace in the January-March quarter. Behind much of the quarterโs weakness was a sharp reduction in business inventories, which subtracted roughly 2.3 percentage points from overall growth. Companies typically slash their inventories when they anticipate a coming downturn.

Votes from Noncitizens Uncovered in Maricopa County
Votes from noncitizens have been found in Arizona after it emerged that hundreds of foreign nationals have been registered to vote in Maricopa County since 2015.
The nonprofit Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) uncovered the illegal votes.
PILF warns that a legal loophole in federal Motor Voter law is allowing noncitizens to register to vote at their local motor vehicle offices.
โMotor Voter leads to problems for immigrants across America,โ PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement.

If Tucker Carlsonโs Fox News program was everything that his miserable critics in the rest of the media say it was, it would have been canceled within days of its launch. Instead of having the biggest prime-time audience in cable news, he would have been doing Joy Reid numbers, and Fox executives wouldnโt have tolerated it for a week, let alone for six years.
Immediately after Fox announced Monday that it had unceremoniously kicked Carlson to the curb, leftists on every competing channel and in every prominent publication were sure to repeat ad infinitum that the hostโs show was โracist,โ โxenophobic,โ and a place for rampant โconspiracy theories.โ
That itโs a requirement to use those terms, applicable synonyms, and nothing else outside of them, is not an overstatement.
To wit, the left-wing American Prospect magazine this week ran one of the more thoughtful reflections on Carlson, describing him as, โan entertainer equally skilled at skewering comfortable pieties on the left and rightโ and his show as โan outlier in corporate-owned cable newsโ that โdeclined to play the gatekeeping role that many of Carlsonโs detractors demand of mainstream media platforms.โ
In other words, Carlson was an engaging host who shirked conformity.
That innocuous depiction was greeted by the Prospectโs fellow liberals with relentless derision and scorn.
So much so that the magazineโs executive editor was intimidated into publishing a statement apologizing for the piece and promising to โwork hard to earn back whatever trust has been lost.โ

The U.S. Navy announced Thursday that the Islamic Republic of Iran has seized a foreign vessel in the Gulf of Oman.
The Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker Advantage Sweet was taken by Iranian forces after leaving Kuwait on its way to Houston, Texas.
“The oil tanker issued a distress call during the seizure,” the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet said. “Iran’s actions are contrary to international law and disruptive to regional security and stability.”

The high seas face-off Sunday between the larger Chinese ship and the Philippine coast guardโs BRP Malapascua near Second Thomas Shoal was among the tense moments it and another Philippine vessel encountered in a weeklong sovereignty patrol in one of the worldโs most hotly contested waterways.
The Philippine coast guard had invited a small group of journalists, including three from The Associated Press, to join the 1,670-kilometer (1,038-mile) patrol for the first time as part of a new Philippine strategy aimed at exposing Chinaโs increasingly aggressive actions in the South China Sea, where an estimated $5 trillion in global trade transits each year.

Drone Video Captures Moment JDAMs Hit Russian Positions in Bakhmut
As a Ukrainian surveillance drone watched overhead, aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, which some are speculating were probably Mikoyan MiG-29s, dropped four 250 kg bombs in Bakhmut.

Almost half the country (about 20 million people), according to the UN, is โfood insecure.โ Gold is a major resource in Sudan and is a โstrategic route to the rest of Africa,โ according to reporting from Al Jazeera.

What is important to understand is that the portrayal of recent events, in Western media, is deliberately misrepresenting the extent to which the United Kingdom and US governments, as well as Israel, have been involved in Sudanese affairs.

86% of WHOโs donations come from โvoluntaryโ donations and private organisations, the largest being from Bill Gates and his affiliated organisation, GAVI. โClearly many of the priorities do overlap, such as polio eradication and immunisation in general,โ Swiss Info noted in a 2021 article.
Considering Gates is the largest private donor to WHO, polio eradication and vaccination are less of โan overlapping of prioritiesโ and more a case of Gatesโ interests being prioritised.
It would be fair to speculate that โ by creating fear about a polio lab leak and then almost immediately promoting more vaccinations โ WHO is seeking to ensure their private donors, in particular Bill Gates, make a lot of money off peopleโs misery in Sudan.

Congress Just Doled Out The Most Pork In Nearly Two Decades, Government Watchdog Says
Congress has passed more than $26 billion in earmarks during Fiscal Year 2023, the highest amount since 2006, the watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) reported.
Members in both chambers were able to pass 7,396 earmarks into law in FY2023, according to CAGWโs pig book. That number was up from 5,138 in FY2022, when Congress spent more than $19 billion on earmarks.
Both chambers brought back pork in 2021, one decade after the parties announced a ban on the practice.
Nearly every Democrat requested at least one earmark in FY2023, according to the pig book, with only four out of the partyโs 275 members not filing for one.
Fewer than half of Republicans requested earmarks, although outgoing Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby requested the highest-dollar earmarks out of any elected official.
Some congressional Republicans blasted the excessive spending at a press conference hosted by CAGW.

Montana legislature formally gives trans Democrat the boot for ‘encouraging an insurrection’
Democratic Rep. Zooey Zephyr has been booted out of the Montana legislature for the remainder of the 2023 season. While the transvestite lawmaker will be able to vote remotely, he will not be able to engage in person with those to whom he has refused to apologize.
Zephyr could have resolved the matter with an apology prior to his supporters storming the Capitol Monday, but has indicated that is outside the realm of possibility.
